In the study effectiveness is very important, learning is said to b e successful when learners and educators can achieve the objectives to be reached. The effectiveness of what this researchsats is the learning activities performed by the teacher in administering the materials to be presented, the study activity, and the learning result of the learners. The purpose of the researchto see the effectiveness of these three aspects in applying the research Structure Numbered Heads to the operating material VII MTs. Al-Fataanah Memapawah Hilir. The method used in research is experimental method, with the shape of the research is a One- Shot Case Study. The subjects in this study are VII-A class learners and teachers at MTs. Al-Fataanah Mempawah Hilir. Research data is obtained from the administration of study tests (posttest), the learning management observation sheet and the observation sheet of participants activities. The result of all three learning effectiveness is that the learning process applies 3,04 cooperative types of Structure Numbered Heads to good categories, learning activity percentage is 68,9% in the active category, learners can achieve the greatest learning result of individual achievement of 8 or 40% and classified intellgence is not lade. Since there is an unfulfilled indicator that the achievement of classified learning will not be achieved it seems that the study of applying cooperative models Structure Numbered Heads is not effective to apply in program class MTs. This study aims to increase students' interest in learning through the application of Edmodo E-Learning with PBL learning models during the Covid-19 pandemic. In a preliminary study conducted to MAN 2 students in Jambi City who conducted learning activities during the Covid-19 pandemic stated that their interest in learning was low. This happens because the teacher only gives assignments and there is no learning process that connects directly between the teacher and students through a learning activity and the use of Edmodo platform is still rarely used. Data was collected using a google form containing a questionnaire about responses to descriptions of activities using edmodo to class XI students. The results of increasing student interest based on several indicators observed were happy with an average score of 3.18 including the good category, curiosity 3.38 the excellent category, the attention of 3.30 the excellent category, and the interest of the 3,015 good category. Based on research data it is known that the application of Problem Based Learning during learning using ed-modo e-learning can increase student interest in learning.

Abstract. This journal discusses the development of variations in teaching in increasing learning motivation. The learning process is an activity that involves an individual (physical and spiritual), learning activities are never carried out without a strong motivation or motivation from within the individual or from outside the individual who participates in learning activities. Therefore, the learning process requires the development and use of variations in teaching to generate student motivation. Variations in teaching include variations in teaching styles, variations in media and materials, and variations in teaching and learning interactions. Motivation has a very important role in learning activities, there is no learning activity without motivation, therefore motivation has a strategic role in achieving the goals or results of learning. AbstractThis paper discusses the uses and applications of the Pedagogy of Experience Complexity for Smart Learning (PECSL), a four-tier model of considerations for the design and development of smart learning activities. Using existing mobile apps and relevant activities as illustrative examples, the PECSL is applied to indicate concepts and mechanisms by which useful pedagogical considerations can work alongside user-centred design principles for the design and development of smart learning in urban hyper-localities. Practical application of the model is discussed using real world examples of activities as a basis to demonstrate the potential for manifold opportunities to learn, and plan for experience complexity in a smart learning activity. Case study approaches reflect on aspects of the PECSL in how it might be a useful and pragmatic guide to some of the issues faced when designing digital citizen learning activities in complex urban environments.

The focus of this research is to describe the strategy of adversity quotient for the management of the Community Learning Activity Center (PKBM) to develop innovations in turning barriers into opportunities for non-formal education programs. Qualitative research with this type of case study was carried out at PKBM Mentari, using structured interviews as the primary data collection method, in order to obtain primary data and document matrix methods to obtain secondary data. the data were analyzed using interactive techniques belonging to Miles and Huberman with the stages of data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results of this study are the adversity quotient strategy that generally implemented by PKBM is very good, this can be seen from the indicators including: 1) Organizing learning activities flexibly in terms of time, so that it does not interfere with the daily activities of the community; 2) Provide learning at affordable costs so as not to burden the community in participating in learning; 3) Making the community the main partner in the continuation of teaching and learning activities at PKBM and 4) Building synergies with local village officials. The relatively short research time is the main limitation in compiling this study, so that it only maximizes the statements of the main informants.

User-created virtual worlds are emerging technologies with rapidly growing acceptance in education. Of the various reported educational uses of these virtual worlds, the focus of this chapter is on virtual worlds for constructivist learning activities, because this use has application to many real-life courses and has the potential to transform teaching and learning. To assist educators with recognizing and understanding virtual world learning activities, Antonacci & Modaress (2005, 2008) developed the Interaction-Combinations Integration model. However, this model has not been studied in actual virtual-world learning practice. Using a case study method, this chapter examines the usefulness of this model to organize and describe actual virtual world learning activities, provides additional learning activity examples, and describes what was needed to implement and conduct these learning activities.

This chapter approaches the problematic of communication in teaching-learning activities in higher education during the crisis generated by the COVID-19 pandemic. The authors have proposed to present a theoretical and practical approach to the effective communication in teaching, with the objective of knowing which are the opinions of students on communication skills and motivation of them in the classroom. The study included a total of 261 students from different faculties at the University of Bucharest, who were a Likert-scale survey in the period May -July 2020. Results of the analysis of research data shows that students have seen their ability to concentrate and motivation to perform tasks affected, but they did not leave university. In this respect, most difficulties were in carrying out teamwork than individual. The adaptations made by the university during confinement have been positively appreciated. The research findings coming according to recent studies confirm that without communication the teaching and learning process will not take place.
