Introduction. Organization of high-quality training of the vehicles’ drivers is possible only with the proper formation of professional skills. Moreover, the formation of the skills is necessary for the driver to control the vehicle safety, perhaps by using simulators at the initial stage of training. The use of simulators allows automating the actions that the driver performs, while not exposing the student to risks. Therefore, the purpose of the paper is to analyze the application of simulators in the training of the vehicles’ drivers.Materials and methods. The paper presented the basic psycho physiological principles of the learning process, which should be taken into account when using simulators for driver training. The authors demonstrated the classification of the car simulators used for training of drivers by the information models. Existing information models of simulators were divided into two groups: reproducing only visual information, without imitation of the vestibular and simulating both visual and vestibular information. The analysis reflected the advantages and disadvantages of information models.Results. As a result, the authors proposed two systematizing features: the view angle of the visual information and the simulation of vestibular information.Discussion and conclusions. The research is useful not only for the further science development, but also for the selection of simulators and for the organization of the educational process in driving schools.

ENTITIES INVOLVED IN THE ORGANISATION OF COMPETITIONS FOR MANAGERIAL POSTS: LEGAL ISSUES Summary The article discusses the legal issues associated with the competition method of selecting management staff. Under the current legal provisions in Poland many legal acts pertain to this issue, giving an inhomogeneous set of regulations for the principles of conducting such procedures in particular domains of public, social and economic affairs. The subject of the first part of this paper is the analysis of the concept of competitions for managerial posts and the classification of the procedure for the competitive selection of management staff based on various criteria. The author also points out the main advantages and disadvantages of competitions held for managerial posts. The second part of the paper describes the entities directly involved in the organisation of competitions for management staff, and indispensable for the running of such competitions. In my opinion the analysis of the legal acts which regulate this issue allows for the distinction of two essential categories of entities directly involved in the process of competitive management appointments. On the one hand this means those organisers who are responsible for initiating the whole procedure and who make the final decision on the appointment. On the other hand there is the competition commission, which has a significant influence on the effectiveness of the competitive selection of management staff.

The analysis of intelligent learning systems efficiency revealed a number of contradictions between the capabilities of software-integrated computer hardware facilities and low didactic efficiency of their use. Therefore, when designing intelligent learning systems, the task of researching and analyzing the existing psycho-pedagogical theories, concepts and training methods is still urgent today. The purpose of the paper is to study existing theories, concepts and learning methods for adapting them to automated software-integrated hardware learning facilities. The paper proposes variants of teacher and students adaptation to intelligent learning systems capabilities. Meanwhile, in the process of users adaptation to intelligent learning system by changing the color presentation of information blocks, its possible to gain a chance to influence students psycho-emotional state favorably. The author considers various fonts (words image) application which influence the efficiency of perception and capture of visual information; the author takes into account psycho physiological capacities of human capture of visual information and considers functionality of informing software-integrated hardware facilities, namely: volume and speed of visual information processed; - increasing the sizes of graphic pictures by which a certain person cannot analyze information presented. The methodological basis of the research is a complex application of mutually supportive approaches and methods based on the principles of general scientific methodology. The main approaches were - Person-oriented, system-working and competence-oriented approaches. The analysis of existing theories and concepts has shown that each of the studied educational concepts has its values. The paper considers shortcomings of basic theories and educational concepts from the position of a complex approach to the solution of educational tasks. Thereunder, any of basic applied theories and concepts can be adopted as a single universal educational basis for educational process structuring. A specific emphasis in the paper is aimed at the advantages and disadvantages of the concept of personal-oriented education, which is the most progressive in learning process structuring in authors opinion and which causes more discords of opponents. Using the results of theories and education concepts analysis the author gives recommendations how to design technical requirements to intelligent learning systems. The conditions of feasibility of intellectual learning systems and their didactic values have been formulated. The results of the research can be used in the design of intelligent learning systems for the purpose of selecting a complex of didactic educational tools.

The article is devoted to practical aspects of using graphic programming tools in the educational process, and, particularly, to their application for performing laboratory classes in technical disciplines. The unpredictable rapid changing in conditions for providing education process due to coronavirus restrictions have required a new manner of how to conduct teaching in remote mode. This task urgently required to be resolved in the short term. But there were no published sources that contain practical advises and described real experience how to do this. Thus, the presented article is an attempt to close this gap. Due to results presented in the article this task could be resolved by using graphic programming languages that opens a field of possibilities for students in using models to explore properties of a real object by means of simulation of the virtual analog. It is argued the selection of programming system, the variations of beginning lessons are considered, the experience in using such system as Simulink is revealed. The advantages and disadvantages of the selected system are indicated from the point of view of its application to the educational process. There are some recommendations for building the sequence of laboratory classes on the base of graphic programming tools. In the beginning these models could be developed preliminary and delivered for students to explore them and then, with more students’ experience and skills, the models could be created by students themselves. The real experience obtained during on-line education phase demonstrates that this approach increases students’ interest for learning and accelerate the educational process. One more conclusion is that virtual laboratory classes as well as all other achievements in using remote mode of education should be implicated in the educational process when it returns to conventional mode of functioning.

AbstractThe human brain recurrently prioritizes task-relevant over task-irrelevant visual information. A central, question is whether multiple objects can be prioritized simultaneously. To answer this, we let observers search for two colored targets among distractors. Crucially, we independently varied the number of target colors that observers anticipated, and the number of target colors actually used to distinguish the targets in the display. This enabled us to dissociate the preparation of selection mechanisms from the actual engagement of such mechanisms. Multivariate classification of electroencephalographic activity allowed us to track selection of each target separately across time. The results revealed only small neural and behavioral costs associated with preparing for selecting two objects, but substantial costs when engaging in selection. Further analyses suggest this cost is the consequence of neural competition resulting in limited parallel processing, rather than a serial bottleneck. The findings bridge diverging theoretical perspectives on capacity limitations of feature-based attention.

Abstract The preparation of landslide susceptibility maps is a complex process with regards to the selection of the study field, parameters, and methods. The phase after the determination of the landslide distribution in landslide susceptibility studies is the selection of the methods and parameters to be used. However, first, as in this study, a comprehensive literature search is required. A review of approximately 1500 randomly selected publications revealed that it was necessary to select a parameter based on the area, and the research showed that, in each study, the most preferred parameter was the slope angle. Moreover, there is nearly a consensus of opinion among researchers regarding the use of the slope angle. The current research included the definitions of the slope angle put forth by different researchers, the advantages and disadvantages of its use, the different classifications that have been used, the intervals of the landslides, its use together with other parameters, and its effect on landslides. Generally, it was observed that automatic slope angle classifications have been used in the preparation of landslide maps in the literature. Therefore, there is no standard in slope angle maps nor in the class range that is referenced when preparing them. In this study, the class ranges and slope angle values of areas where landslides have occurred were determined from the literature, and of these, 40 landslides areas were selected in Turkey and their slope angle maps were created. These were evaluated according to the slope angle classes determined in the literature. The effects of the slope angle on the landslide were determined, and an understanding was gained of how important it was to be careful when determining the classification of the slope angle. When smaller class ranges were selected, different results were obtained. This showed that following parameter selection, the selection of the range of classes was vital in the preparation of landslide susceptibility maps.
