Analisis Nilai-nilai Multikultural Dalam Novel Assalamualaikum Beijing Karya Asma Nadia

This research is entitled Analysis of Multicultural Values in the novel Assalamualaikum Beijing. This study aims to (1) know multicultural values (2) describe the multicultural values contained in the novel Assalamualaikum Beijing. The main data source in this study is the Assalamualaikum Beijing novel published in 2013 by Asma Nadia with a thick 360-page book. The novel was chosen because the content of the story presented was very interesting giving fresh meaning to the state of multicultural value difference in Beijing with in Indonesia. The focus of this study is related to Multicultural values found in the Assalamualaikum Beijing novel. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive method. Data collection techniques used in this study are using library techniques and content analysis (analysis content). The results of this study are aimed at the public that the multicultural values contained in the Assalamualaikum Beijing novel include values of tolerance, democratic values, religious values, and cultural values. The researcher conducts this research with the aim that the public realize the importance of multiculturalism values such as tolerance values, democratic values, religious values, and cultural values applied in life.

Pasar Klewer is one of the most important parts in sustaining economic nets in the city of Surakarta. Where the pasar Klewer is the largest distributor of textile products in Central Java from sellers to buyers. But today the pasar Klewer is still relevant in the midst of the current 4.0 industrial revolution. The purpose of this paper is to explain what can make the pasar Klewer a market that still exists in the midst of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 and explain how it can happen. Because in this era efficiency is needed in everything. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive method that emphasizes objective phenomena and is studied qualitatively in order to obtain results that are in accordance with actual facts. This study aims to describe the struggles experienced by the two main characters in the novel in getting their freedom and also to elaborate the important of freedom for the main characters as human rights. The research method used was a qualitative descriptive method with the sociology of literature approach. The primary data were collected from descriptions and utterances of the main characters and narrators in the novel. The supporting data were obtained from the library, internet, journals, and articles. The results of this research indicate that there is struggle of the main characters in obtaining their freedom as a human in this novel. Huckleberry Finn as the main character fought for his freedom from a drunk and abusive father, while Jim, as the second main character fought for his freedom from slavery. The two figures then met and made an adventure together to get their own freedom.

Istana Maimun adalah istana kebesaran Kerajaan Deli yang dibangun pada tahun 1888. Saat ini istana maimun sudah beralih fungsi menjadi museum dan hunian untuk keluarga keturunan sultan. Istana Maimun memiliki daya tarik tersendiri terutama sebagai bukti perjalanan sejarah kebudayaan Kota Medan. Dalam Penelitian ini Peneliti menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif yaitu dengan menguji signifikansi kondisi Istana Maimun sebagai bangunan bersejarah Kota Medan melalui nilai sejarah, nilai ilmu pengetahuan, nilai agama dan nilai kebudayaan seperti yang ditetapkan dalam UU No.11 Tahun 2010. Dengan pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, dokumentasi dan konservasi lapangan. Hasil dari penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadikan Istana Maimun menjadi bangunan bersejarah cagar budaya Nasional. Maimun Palace is an oversized palace of the Kingdom of Deli which was built in 1888. At present Maimun Palace has turned into a museum and residence for families of descendants of the Sultan. Maimun Palace has its own charm, especially as evidence of the journey of the history of the city of Medan. In this study the researcher used a qualitative descriptive method, namely by testing the significance of Maimun Palace as a historical building in Medan through historical values, the value of science, religious values and cultural values as stipulated in Law No.11 of 2010. By collecting data through interviews, field documentation, and conservation. The results of this study are expected to make Maimun Palace a historic building of national cultural heritage.

This study aimed to describe the form of word classes that was deeply conformed in the Tukang Besi Island languange, Kaledupa dialect at Wakatobi Regency. This research method was qualitative descriptive method. The data source was taken from the native speakers of Tukang Besi Island language, Kaledupa dialect and it was in oral data. Methods and techniques of data collection were observation methods with participantive observation techniques, recording , and noting techniques. Data analysis techniques were data selection, data classification, meaning, and data analysis. The results proved that the form ofhomonimic word class in Tukang Besi Island languange, Kaledupan dialect were adjectives with nouns, nouns with nouns, verbs with adjectives, verbs with nouns, nouns with numerals, verbs with verbs, verbs with adverbs, particles with nouns. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan wujud kelas kata yang berhomonim dalam Bahasa Kepulauan Tukang Besi Dialek Kaledupa di Kabupaten Wakatobi. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber datanya diambil dari para penutur asli bahasa Kepulauan Tukang Besi Dialek Kaledupa dan jenis datanya berupa data lisan. Metode dan teknik pengumpulan data, yaitu metode observasi dengan teknik observasi partisipatif, teknik rekam, dan teknik catat. Teknik analisis data, yaitu penyeleksian data, pengklasifikasian data, pemaknaan, dan penganalisisan data. Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa wujud kelas kata yang berhomonim dalam bahasa Kelupauan Tukang Besi Dialek Kaledupa, yaitu adjektiva dengan nomina, nomina dengan nomina, verba dengan adjektiva, verba dengan nomina, nomina dengan numeralia, verba dengan verba, verba dengan adverbia, dan partikel dengan nomina.

This research is based on the development of feminism values in the community. In a patriarchal environment, women have a low position compared to men. Women are subordinated in various fields of life, such as in the fields of education, social affairs and economics. This study aims to describe the values of feminism contained in the novel “Merry Riana: Mimpi Sejuta Dollar” by Alberthiene Endah. This type of research is a qualitative descriptive study with a feminist literary criticism approach. The research method used is content analysis with data collection techniques read and record. The data source in this study is the novel “Merry Riana: Mimpi Sejuta Dollar” by Alberthiene Endah. Based on the results of the research, in the novel “Merry Riana: Mimpi Sejuta Dollar” by Alberthiene Endah there are values of feminism which include: (a) the value of feminism in education, (b) the value of feminism in the social field, and (c) the value of feminism in the economic. This research is entitled 'The Value of the Struggle in the Film Better Days (少年的你 ) by Derek Tsang.' The background of this research departs from an interest in literary works set in the struggle of a girl named Chen Nian who is preparing for her college entrance exam. The formulation of the research problem is what are the values of struggle in the Better Days film. The purpose of this study is to find, reveal and describe the formulation of the problem in its entirety and in detail. The research method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method. The theory used in this research is the theory of sociology of literature according to Wellek and Warren. The data source used in this study is the film Better Days directed by Derek Tsang and released on October 25, 2019. The results of this study are the value of struggle and the influencing factors, in the film represented by several pieces of quotes and scenes. This film contains the values of struggle, including the value of helping; the value of courage; the value of self-sacrifice; the value of working together; the value of mutual respect; spirit, and never giving up. This study aims to describe the personality dynamics of the characters in the novel Harapan Di Atas Sajadah by Mawar Malka. The theory used is Jungian psychology, namely the theory of the importance of consciousness and the unconscious to form a complete person in relation to experiences and relationships with the Creator. The research method used a qualitative descriptive method. The research data is in the form of quotes through dialogue between characters and stories that describe the dynamics of personality in terms of the principles of interaction, function, and purpose of using psychic energy. The results of the research and discussion show that (1) the dynamics of personality in terms of the principles of interaction consist of the principles of opposition, compensation, and merger. This principle becomes the basis for the dynamics of personality that initially has a bad personality to become better, (2) personality dynamics in terms of the function of using psychic energy, namely the strength of enthusiasm, desire, and will, (3) personality dynamics in terms of the purpose of using psychic energy consisting of progressions and regressions. The personal progression of a character displays two types of personality, namely an extroverted attitude (open) and an introverted attitude (closed). Thus, the dynamics of the character's personality show significant changes. Changes related to social problems and their relationship with the Creator for the better.

AbstrakPenelitian ini merupakan penelitian antropologi sastra yang bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan secara mendalam berbagai nilai budaya masyarakat suku Banjar dan Dayak yang direpresentasikan dalam novel Jendela Seribu Sungai karya Miranda Seftiana dan Avesina Soebli. Pendekatan yangdigunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu pendekatan antropologi sastra, suatu pendekatan interdisipliner yang secara khusus mengkaji berbagai aspek kebudayaan manusia yang tercermin melalui karya sastra. Selanjutnya, metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Untuk menganalisis data, digunakan teknik analisis isi yang meliputi tahapan identifikasi data, klasifikasi data, dan interpretasi data. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ditemukan lima nilai budaya masyarakat suku Banjar yang direpresentasikan dalam novel Jendela Seribu Sungai karya Miranda Seftiana dan Avesina Soebli. Pertama, percaya adanya kekuasaan Tuhan dan senantiasa terus berdoa kepada Tuhan. Kedua, manusia harus dapat menjaga dan menggunakan alam dengan sebaik-baiknya agar dapatbermanfaat dalam kehidupan. Ketiga, manusia tidak dapat hidup sendiri karena merupakan makhluk sosial. Keempat, musyawarah, saling membantu dan saling mengasihi antarsesama. Kelima, manusiabertanggung jawab terhadap kelangsungan hidupnya sendiri untuk membuat hidupnya menjadi lebih baik.Kata kunci: kebudayaan, nilai budaya, antropologi sastra AbstractThis study aims to describe the cultural values of the people of Banjar and Dayak tribes are represented in the novel of Jendela Seribu Sungai by Miranda Seftiana and Avesina Soebli.The method used in this research is literary anthropology approach. It examines various aspects of human culture which is reflected through literary works. Furthermore, the research used qualitative descriptive method and content analysis technique are used to analyze the data, they are respectively, data identification, data classification, and data interpretation. The results found five cultural values of the people of Banjar tribe and Dayak that is representedin the novel of Jendela Seribu Sungai by Miranda Seftiana and Avesina Soebli. First, believe in the power of God and always continue to pray to God. Second, humans must be able to maintain and use nature as well as possible so that it can be useful in life. Third, humans cannot live alone because the people are social creatures. Fourth, deliberation, helping each other and sharing among each other. Fifth, humans are responsible for their own survival to make their lives better.Keywords: cultural, cultural value, literary anthropology

Mistisisme dalam tataran masyarakat Jawa menjadi salah satu hal yang tidak dapat dipisahkan dalam setiap perilaku yang terjadi di tengah masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan praktik mistisisme Jawa dalam novel Mantra Pejinak Ular karya Kuntowijoyo. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif, pendekatan yang digunakan adalah sosiologi sastra. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah novel Mantra Pejinak Ular karya Kuntowijoyo yang diterbitkan oleh Penerbit Buku Kompas. Data dalam penelitian ini mencakup satuan cerita yang terwujud dalam dialog, monolog, paragraf, sekuen cerita, bagian kalimat, maupun narasi tokoh yang menggambarkan praktik mistisisme Jawa dalam novel Mantra Pejinak Ular karya Kuntowijoyo. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan langkah (a) membaca sumber data; (b) unitizing (mengambil data yang tepat dengan cara menandai teks; serta (c) mencatat dan menginventarisasi teks yang relevan. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan flow model of analysis yang dikemukakan oleh Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam novel Mantra Pejinak Ular karya Kuntowijoyo menunjukkan praktik mistisisme Jawa pada tingkatan sarengat/syariat dan tingkatan hakekat. Praktik mistisisme Jawa pada tingkatan sarengat/syariat dibuktikan dengan (1) percaya pada benda mitologi dan (2) percaya pada mitos-mitos. Pada tingkatan hakekat dibuktikan dengan ibadah yang dilakukan untuk menemui Tuhan dalam bentuk salat istikharah. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa praktik mistisisme Jawa yang dominan dilakukan oleh masyarakat Jawa dalam novel Mantra Pejinak Ular karya Kuntowijoyo adalah pada tingkatan sarengat/syariat dan hakekat. Mysticism at the level of Javanese society is one thing that cannot be separated in every behavior that occurs in society. This study aims to describe the practice of Javanese mysticism in the novel Mantra Pejinak Ular by Kuntowijoyo. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method, the approach used is the sociology of literature. The data source in this study is the novel Mantra Pejinak Snake by Kuntowijoyo published by Kompas Book Publishers. The data in this study include story units that are manifested in dialogues, monologues, paragraphs, story sequences, sentence sections, and character narratives that describe the practice of Javanese mysticism in the novel Mantra Pejinak Ular by Kuntowijoyo. Data collection is done by steps (a) reading the data source; (b) unitizing (taking the right data by marking the text; and (c) recording and inventorying relevant texts. Data analysis was carried out using the flow model of analysis proposed by Miles and Huberman. The results showed that in the novel Mantra Pejinak Ular Kuntowijoyo's work shows the practice of Javanese mysticism at the sarengat/syariat level and the essence level. The practice of Javanese mysticism at the sarengat/syariat level is proven by (1) believing in mythological objects and (2) believing in myths. Based on the results of the research, it can be concluded that the dominant practice of Javanese mysticism carried out by the Javanese people in the novel Mantra Pejinak Ular by Kuntowijoyo is at the level of sarengat/syariat and essence.
