 ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjawab kemampuan menulis puisi siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Sungguminasa  melalui penerapan strategi Stratta? dan Apakah strategi Stratta efektif diterapkan dalam meningkatkan kemampuan menulis puisi siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Sungguminasa?” Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen yakni melakukan penelitian secara mendalam dan menguji hipotesis. Populasi penelitian ini adalah keseluruhan siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Sungguminasa yang berjumlah 101 orang yang terbagi atas empat kelas, sedangkan sampel penelitian ditetapkan kelas XI sebanyak 25 orang sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas X2 sebanyak 25 orang sebagai kelas kontrol. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dilakukan dengan teknik observasi dan memberikan tes menulis puisi. Data yang terkumpul dalam penelitian dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik statistik inferensial. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, terlihat bahwa nilai keefektifan strategi Stratta dalam meningkatkan kemampuan menulis puisi siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Sungguminasa sebesar 2,43. Berdasarkan nilai t hitung tersebut dapat dibandingkan dengan nilai t ta­bel db = N-1 = 25-1 = 24. Jadi, db 25-1 = 24 dan t = 0,5 (tabel terlampir). Sementara, t hitung = 2,43 dan t tabel = 2,064 (signifikan 5%). Dengan demikian, t hitung > t tabel. Perbandingan hasil kemampuan pretes dan postes menunjukkan bahwa nilai t hitung sebanyak 2,43> nilai t tabel 2,064. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa hipotesis penelitian yang diajukan diterima. Diharapkan Guru hendaknya menggunakan strategi strata  dalam pembelajaran, karena strategi ini efektif diterapkan dalam meningkatkan kemampuan mengapresiasi puisi siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Sungguminasa.Kata Kunci: Strategi, stratta, menulis puisi, dan siswa ABSTRACT This study aimed to answer the ability to write poetry class XI student of SMAN 1 Sungguminasa through the implementation of strategies Stratta? and Is Stratta effective strategy implemented to improve the ability to write poetry class XI student of SMAN 1 Sungguminasa? "This type of research is an experimental research which is doing in-depth research and testing hypotheses. The study population was the whole class XI student of SMAN 1 Sungguminasa totaling 101 people, divided into four classes, while the eleventh grade study sample set of 25 people as an experimental class and class X2 as many as 25 people as a control group. Data collection techniques used is done by observation and provide a test write poetry. Data collected in the study were analyzed using inferential statistical techniques. Based on the analysis, it appears that the effectiveness of the strategies Stratta in enhancing the ability to write poetry class XI student of SMAN 1 Sungguminasa of 2.43. Based on the t value can be compared with the value t ta¬bel db = N-1 = 25-1 = 24. So, db 25-1 = 24 and t = 0.5 (table attached). Meanwhile, t = 2.43 and t table = 2.064 (5% significance). Thus, t> t table. Comparison of the ability of pretest and posttest results showed that the total value of 2.43 t count> t table 2.064. This shows that the hypothesis proposed accepted. Teachers should be expected to use learning strategies in strata, because this strategy effectively applied in improving the ability to appreciate poetry class XI student of SMAN 1 Sungguminasa. Keywords: Strategy, stratta, writing poetry, and students

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan hasil belajar antara siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan talking stick dan snowball throwing. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah nonequivalent control group design. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Alalak, dan sample penelitian adalah siswa kelas X IPA 1 yang berjumlah 25 orang dan siswa kelas X IPA 2 yang berjumlah 24 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes berupa pilihan ganda. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan uji t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan   terdapat perbedaan hasil  belajar antara siswa  yang dibelajarkan dengan talking stick dansnowball throwing.This study aimed to compare learning outcomes between students who are taught with the talking stick and snowball throwing. The research design used was nonequivalent control group design. The study population was all students of class X SMA Negeri 1 Alalak, and the study sample was students of class X IPA 1, amounting to 25 people and students of class X IPA 2, amounting to 24 people. The data collection technique used is a multiple choice test. The data obtained were analyzed using the t test. The results of the study showed that there were differences  in  learning  outcomes  between  students  who  were taught  with  the talking stick and snowball throwing.

<p>The research problem is there are students with low learning skills. Research purposes, (1) describe the implementation of group guidance in schools, (2) describe the skill level of student learning, (3) knowing the effectiveness of group guidance with mind maps and self-reward to learning skills. Experimental research methods, types of design randomized pretest-posttest control group design. Samples totaling 20 students of class VII were randomly selected low level of learning skills. The data collection instruments using a scale of learning skills. Analysis using Independent Sample T-test. The results of research (1) group guidance in schools has been done is not yet complete, (2) there is a category of students learning skills are low, (3) group guidance and with a mind map self-reward effectively increase the learning skills of students based on the significance of 0.000 &lt;0.05 and an increase in the experimental group was 24.58%, 1.04% control group. Conclusions of this research, (1) the guidance group has done and has not been not maximal, (2) there is a category of students learning skills are low, (3) group guidance with a mind map and self-reward effectively increase students' learning skills.</p>

This research is an experimental research that aims to compare differences in students' speaking abilities using the debate method and articulation models. This study was designed with a post-test only control group desaign. This research was conducted at SMK Negeri 1 Palopo, with a population of 143 students consisting of four classes. Sampling using purposive sample technique so that the chosen ones are accounting class 1 and accounting class 2. The data obtained is data that explains the comparison of speaking skills between those who use the debate method and those who use the articulation model of students of SMK Negeri 1 Palopo, in this study, the data collected will be analyzed by using descriptive statistical techniques and parametric infrential statistics of the type of independent sample T test that is processed with a computer program Statistics Product Service Solution (SPSS). The results showed that the results of the debating method class completeness category contained 29 students who scored> 75 with a percentage of completeness (94%), and only 2 students who scored ≤ 75 with a percentage of completeness (6%). Likewise with the class using the articulation model there were 29 students who scored> 75 with a percentage of completeness (94%), and only 2 students who scored ≤ 75 with a percentage of completeness (6%). This proves that there is no significant difference between the speaking ability of class XI students of SMK Negeri 1 Palopo using the debate method and the articulation model

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of cognitive behavioral counseling with cognitive restructuring techniques to improve endurance of 1st grade students at SMA Negeri 4 Singaraja. This experimental study used the Pretest Posttest Control Group Design. The study population was students of 1st grade SMA Negeri 4 Singaraja. The research sample consisted of 54 students. Through random sampling, 23 students were placed in the experimental group and 31 students were the control group. Data collection in this study used a questionnaire. The data in this study were analyzed by independent samples t-test using JASP Version 0.7.5.5 and d’Cohen for calculate level of effectiveness. The results t = 8.577 with p= 0.001, then p <0.05. Effect Size (ES) testing shows a high level of effectiveness (ES = 2.361). These results prove that cognitive behavioral counseling with cognitive restructuring techniques is effective for improving the endurance of 1st grade students at SMA Negeri 4 Singaraja.

AbstractThis study aims to determine whether or not there is any impact of the activity of red cross youth organization to the effective speaking ability of the students of class XI SMA Negeri 2 Panca Rijang Sidenreng Rappang Regency. This research uses two variables, namely the activity of the red cross youth organization as independent variabel (experimental group) and the ability to speak effective as a dependent variabel (control group). The population in this study is all students of class XI SMA Negeri 2 Panca Rijang Sidenreng Rappang Regency as many as 193 students, while the sample is 15% of the total population, which is 30 students. Data collection technique in this studi, ie documentation techniques then the results obtained from these techniques are further analyzed and processed through descriptive statistical techniques in the form of mean.The results showed that the value Mx = 68,3 and My = 63 so it can be seen that the value of Mx greater than My, ie 68,3 >63. Based on the result of data analysis, it can be concluded that there is impact of activity of organization of red cross yout organization to ability of effective speaking of student of class XI Negeri 2 Panca Rijang Sidenreng Rappang Regency.Keywords: Activity, Youth Red Cross organization, Speak effectively

<p>This article presents results of promotion of students self-direction in cooperative learning in teacher training. The purpose of the study was to work out and implement an cooperative learning model for promotion of student self-directed learning skills in teacher training in university, and explore the relationships between the cooperative learning process and self-directed learning development. Empirical data were collected through self-directed learning-eadiness tests (SDLRS/LPA) and interviews at the beginning and the end of the semester. The data of experiment group were compared with control group data, and 170 students were involved in the study. Results indicate that self-directed learning readiness improves through cooperative learning processes for students of all levels, while in traditional process below average and average level students’ readiness improves, and above average level students’ readiness expressions are limited and readiness for self-direction decreases.</p>

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the behavioral counseling model with modeling techniques to improve self-autonomy and self-endurance for senior high school students. This experimental study used a pretest-posttest nonequivalent control group design. Through random sampling, 34 students were placed in the experimental group and 32 students were placed in the control group. Data collection used the main data collection method (questionnaire) and complementary data collection methods (observations, interviews, and diaries). The data were analyzed by One-way MANOVA. The results show that there are differences in self-autonomy and self-endurance in the experimental class and control class ( sig = 0.039). The results of Cohen D analysis showed a high level of effectiveness (ES = 0.8). These results prove that behavioral counseling with modeling techniques is effective for improving student’s self-autonomy and self-endurance.

The study compared the use of the lexical glossing and inferencing strategies that impact toward the students’ reading comprehension. The objective of the study was to find out the effective strategy to use for enhancing the students’ reading comprehension. The population of the study was 40 Informatics Systems students of Potensi Utama University. The data collection was used written test by comparing the scores results after giving the treatment. The written test was conducted to identify students’ reading comprehension performance toward the use of lexical glossing and inferencing strategies. The data was analyzed applying an experimental research design. There were two tests in this study before and after treatment. Before treatment without using the strategies, the first test was applied to first group and second group. After treatment with using the strategies, the second test was applied to the first and second group. The first group was taught using lexical glossing strategy, while the second group was treated using lexical inferencing strategies. The test resulted that the students in the second group using lexical inferencing strategies could guess the unfamiliar word meaning correctly that impact toward the students’ reading comprehension. While the students in the first group using the lexical glossing strategy make erroneous guesses about unfamiliar word meaning that impact on the students’ reading comprehension. Therefore, it can be concluded that lexical inferencing strategy was recommended to teach to enhance the students’ reading comprehension.

In quantitative research methodology, the empirical research method is finding importance due to its effectiveness in carrying out research in social sciences, business management, and health sciences. The empirical research method contains the procedure of developing a model to find the relationship between different variables identified in a problem. Based on developing hypotheses and testing hypotheses, one can examine and improve the model to explain realworld phenomena. The empirical research method consists of using a survey-based questionnaire to collect the data to identify and interrelate variables present in the problem. It is a comparatively difficult task to design and develop an effective, efficient, and psychometrically perfect questionnaire to be used for research data collection in empirical and clinical research settings. This paper provides a reference on guidelines and framework for developing suitable questionnaires for use in social sciences, business management, medical, and paramedical research with a special emphasis on various stages of questionnaire preparation, preliminary questionnaire testing, and validation (reliability & validity) of the questionnaire using a number of statistical methods. The paper throws light on data collection and analysis stages before the finalization of the developed model for testing hypotheses in empirical research by providing guidelines for the design, development, and translation of questionnaires for application in the above-mentioned research fields. The different types of validation processes required for cleaning the data by various measuring instruments in experimental research are also discussed for comparison. A framework is suggested to guide researchers through the various stages of questionnaire design, development, and improvement using suitable statistical methods to assess the reliability and validity of the questionnaire used in empirical research and validation of the data obtained in experimental research.

<span>This research aimed to find out whether group counseling of trait and factor model  can improve career decision stability of students of BPI IAIN Pekalongan. The type of research is quantitative with a quasi experiment design. The researcher employed one group pretest – posttest design with no control group. Data collection used the questionnaire of career decision stability developed from the theory of career of Donald Super. The t-test results retrieved the data of t score of 2.550 and the significance of 0.00. Based on the data, then the hypothesis test criteria are met i.e. t score is greater than t table i.e. 2.550 &gt; 1.833 and the extent of significance or p&lt;0.05 i.e. 0.000 &lt; 0.05. The results indicate that group counseling of trait and factor model can improve students’ career decision stability.</span>
