Abstract—In cyber community towards the Society 5.0 era, the use of industrial technology 4.0, especially communication media technology plays an important role. The information era causes digital communication media technology to develop very rapidly and encourage the birth of digital media that have real time capabilities and create new media. Currently mass media institutions that are not innovative are experiencing a fall. Then the existence of the construction of reality is also increasingly obscured by the mixing of life in the real world with the virtual world. Therefore, the study wants to criticize the existence of reality in the midst of the development of communication technology that is so fast. This study uses the interview method in collecting data and analyzing it using the narrative method. The results of this study are that in society 5.0 and industrial technology 4.0, a pseudo social reality constructed by communication technology media causes mass media to die, social harmony is confused and even lost, and hoaxes are attacks on harmony.technological advances in industry 5.0 increase above 70%.

Abstract—The current media communication technology is growing into an inevitability. This medium can make a world as big as an egg, and it can similarly build a harmony based on its will. The study revealed how communication media technologies are able to build a reality of harmony in society. The study employed a qualitative approach with a post-positivistic paradigm. The research took 5 informants and interviewed them. The results of the study, (1) communication media technology became the main key formed society 5.0. (2) The development of social media in various platforms and with all its advantages caused the mass media mind stream fall one by one. (3) Communication media technology into a medium can bring the far and away close, or in other words create harmony that is switched. (4) Communication media technology has an impact on the occurrence of hoaxes that are actually enemies of the state.

This chapter explores symbolic interactionist insights and perspectives on both mass media and new media, with a concentration on the ways in which different forms of media influence meaning-making through social interaction while also being influenced by those interpretive processes. It also examines the relations between various media and the construction and interpretation of social reality, the ways that media shape the development and presentation of self, and the uses and interpretations of media within and between communities. Although it clearly distinguishes between mass media and new media, the chapter also discusses the variety of ways in which they intersect throughout social life.

The purpose of using the new media in the context of dakwah is an essential feature since it is the trigger for dakwah activities and the execution of dakwah is done to its target. As information and communication technology advances, zakat institutions, must capitalise on it for the benefit of Islam. In the face of the Covid-19 outbreak, zakat institutions such as the Federal Territory Zakat Collection Center (PPZ-MAIWP) are heavily using new media to teach zakat to all Malaysians. There are five potentials of using the new media towards inviting the community to pay zakat namely; further expand dakwah delivery activities, facilitate the delivery of zakat dakwah, diversify the methods of dakwah of zakat, dakwah of zakat while studying and entertaining, and defence against zakat cyber warfare. Thus, digital media has enormous potential in terms of facilitating the implementation of zakat dakwah activities in a more structured, appealing, and beautiful manner.

In this essay, I examine the networks and activities of transnational Shāfiʿī scholars in reformulating the madhhab and reviving the legal tradition of the Shāfiʿī school of law for contemporary Muslims. The discussion builds on recent debates in two overlapping fields. The first field argues that new modern communications media and technology have greatly fragmented the authority relationship in Islamic law; the second field centers on the perceived dissolution of the madhhab as a result of the widespread rejection of the authority of classical jurists. I argue that the same new media technology also provides a rationale and an instrument that enable Muslims to reformulate legal doctrines and revive the structure of legal authority as reflected in the school’s tradition. By shifting the operation of the madhhab into cyberspace, these Shāfiʿī scholars have creatively responded to changes in communication technology and have effectively reformulated and refashioned the legal tradition of the madhhab as a practical reference for present-day Muslims. The ongoing presence of the madhhab, in this case, does not necessarily represent a zero sum game in the encounter with the legal reality of the modern nation-states.

Graduation organizing events in an educational institution is the most awaited moment by the student who has completed the learning. That Moment is the awarding accordance to each education level. STMIK Raharja is a computer-based educational institution in Tangerang city which organizes Graduation event for Diploma and Bachelor's Degree annually. The implementation of the graduation is the biggest event to the colleges therefore the preparation is organized carefully starting from the committee formation. Refer to this event so that required a new media visual communication to support the implementation runs attractive and successful. This event is held not only to reward graduates but also to promote the college to invited guests or public. The aims of this study is to determine the media used to be effective in organizing events and drafting Graduation visual communication media to support the event as an image of the college. The methodology used is objective visual, strategy visual, copy writing, art directing and rough layout designing, comprehensive layout, and final artwork . The media visual communication are designed to 9 items such as banners outside and inside, banners up and down, Backdrop, Invitation Cards and contents of the invitation,  book Cover, media advertised of Greetings & Success addressed to Graduations in mass media and souvenir such as fans and glasses.

Digital media and network communication technology have not changed this setup, but rather have opened the possibility for encountering and experiencing additional types of worlds and performing additional types of spatial practices. Being situated online and being globally networked with the possibility of both synchronous and asynchronous communication, digitally mediated worlds provide possible interactions between users which are radically more independent of time and place than the ones facilitated by older media. From this perspective, the concept of online worlds both challenges and broadens our understanding of how media shape the world and how the media technology creates new social structures.

Salt culture is the main component of traditional culture in Zigong, Sichuan.With centuries of history, it has accumulated rich cultural connotations. With a growing number of people moving away from traditional sources of information providers, towards new online sources, it has become evident that the agenda setting and gatekeeping functions of the past have been altered. Due to such alteration, it can be said that the profession of information dissemination has all but evaporated into a cesspool of opinion that has been framed to uphold the viewpoints of a particular ideology. While most studies to date have been effective in highlighting the alteration of agenda-setting and gatekeeping, this paper attempts to focus on the shift in such practices, away from traditional mass media institutions, to a new form of media through the practices of networked journalism. In order to demonstrate the following, this paper uses the 2016 U.S. Presidential Election as a case study. Tweets from traditional mass media institutions, new media institutions (such as thought opinion leaders), and the public are collected and examined in relation to information dissemination, via topic coverage. An analysis of these tweets confirms such shift in agenda-setting and gatekeeping, where the powers of information dissemination move away from traditional mass media institutions, towards a model of information that is dependent upon the public and its engagement of such information. This study is part of a larger body of research on the twenty-first century phenomenon of publicly sourced information dissemination in the networked society. In focusing on the shift that is occurring within society, this study will contribute to future publications on a similar topic

If we talk about television as mass media, what is meant by watching TV is watching programs that are broadcast by television stations. It's just that, seeing the arrival and influence of new media technology at this time, making many functions of the mass media that began to be seized by new media. This research was conducted to see how the process of transformation of functions and consumption of television and Youtube media is carried out by the people of Padang City. In order to examine the changes in this communication media, of course data is needed on how the actual process takes place in the field. To examine the problem, this study uses MediaMorphosis Theory. The study was designed using a quantitative and qualitative mixed approach that was shaded by a post-positiveist paradigm. The quantitative approach is carried out through an explanatory research survey research design to find out the situation or condition that occurs and the factors influencing it. While the qualitative approach is used to explain the variables studied in more detail. The results revealed that the majority of respondents are more concerned with the content presented than the media platform used. The platform only functions as a tool that makes it easy for them to access the content they want, without them really caring about the conceptual differences from the available media choices.
