The Sampang regency is an area with a low level of educational quality in Madura Island. The improvement of educational quality can be done based on the curriculum and supported by the competition.  The aims of this community service activity is to stimulate innovation in biology learning through socialization and training as well as to provide competition learning of biology Olympiad through simulation and training. The community service team carried out community service activities involving 60 participants from senior high school students and teachers in Sampang district through a series of activities which were divided into 3 main parts, namely preparation, socialization of biology concept and simulation or innovation-based training. Biology learning innovation and the application of technology in learning system are carried out through DNA isolation technique and training on the application of technology using existing materials, while competition learning is carried out by conducting simulation and training in biology olympiad competitions for students and teachers. The community service activities were smoothly and successfully. Participants who attended in the community service activities is reached 100% so that the participants felt many benefits. Learning innovation activities through simulation and training are interested for participants so that they can trigger innovative thinking, increase enthusiasm and interest of participants and also can be increased understanding of science. The average of Olympiad scores are still low, so it needs more intensive for mentoring and training in the future

This service aims to provide online learning guidance during the COVID-19 pandemic which was carried out at the Permata Harapan Vocational School in Batam. This training was carried out for 4 meetings using the zoom application. Community service activities in the form of educational development for Permata Harapan Vocational High School students can provide benefits by applying the methods of implementing training activities, discussions and questions and answers. This service was attended by Mr. Miftahul Ilmi and Mrs. Lolita as teachers at Permata Harapan school and also attended by 20 students. The results obtained from this activity are: the ability of students to the digital world increases, especially for the applications used and the available tools. Students also feel they have a high curiosity to understand the applications used and are interested in the menus offered. The ability to adapt to the online learning system is very necessary for current conditions, where the presenter also conveys motivation to students to continue to be able to follow the lesson well.

ABSTRACTThe purpose of this community service is to increase the creativity of junior high school students in order to be able to use used plastic waste into crafts that are useful for everyday life and have economic value. This activities are held from February to April in the Natural Sciences laboratory and Multimedia room at the Pembangunan 1 Junior High School in Bogor and it is expected that all residents in the school can understand how to handle various types of garbage. In this activity the students are expected to be able to make various kinds of crafts ranging from accessories to souvenirs. Therefore, to explore that creativity, it is necessary to give examples of several items so that they are motivated to make it even able to transmit it to others. The method of this activity is uses the concept of visual learning and training that is prepared based on the creativity of each student, where the team becomes a facilitator. A facilitator is only functioning and acting as accompaniment and giving examples to students based on existing problems to overcome. The result is an increase in student activity and creativity in making crafts. The enthusiasm, practice and creativity that are shown provide an illustration that students are very happy to get assistance and training from the Abdimas team. Keywords: Training, Creativity, Accessories, Used Trash ABSTRAKTujuan dari pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah meningkatkan kreativitas siswa Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP) agar bisa memanfaatkan sampah plastik bekas menjadi kerajinan yang berguna untuk kehidupan sehari-hari dan memiliki nilai ekonomis. Kegiatan ini diselengarakan dari bulan Februari sampai April di laboratorium Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dan ruang Multimedia SMP Pembangunan 1 Bogor serta diharapakan kepada seluruh warga di sekolah bisa memahami cara menangani berbagai sampah. Dalam kegiatan ini peserta didik diharapkan mampu untuk membuat berbagai macam kerajinan mulai dari aksesoris sampai souvenir. Maka dari itu, untuk menggali kreativitas itu, perlu diberikan contoh dari beberapa barang agar mereka termotivasi untuk membuat bahkan dapat menularkannya kepada orang lain. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan ini menggunakan konsep pembelajaran visual dan pelatihan yang disusun berdasarkan kreativitas masing-masing siswa.. Seorang fasilitator hanyalah berfungsi dan bertindak mendampingi dan memberikan contoh kepada peserta didik yang didasarkan atas permasalahan yang ada untuk diatasi. Adapun hasilnya adalah peningkatan aktivitas dan kreativitas siswa di dalam membuat kerajinan tangan. Antusiasme, berlatih dan berkreasi yang ditunjukan memberikan gambaran bahwa peserta didik sangat senang mendapat pendampingan dan pelatihan dari tim abdimas.  Kata Kunci: Pelatihan, Kreativitas, Aksesoris, Sampah Bekas

The development of telecommunications technology has developed very rapidly. This is in line with the increase in internet data traffic which is growing tremendously. The use of the Internet has been used in all layers of the age segment both the older generation to the younger generation. Global competition in the future is very tight and required knowledge of technology, especially telecommunications technology. This is the basis of community service activities for young people to be given knowledge and education about telecommunications technology and its development and to prepare young people to welcome the 5G era to have competitiveness to face the competition map going forward. In this dedication activity, the method used is direct material exposure to students with the implementation of pre and post-tests as material for evaluating activities. Community service activities carried out in Palembang Muhammadiyah 6 Junior High School with a duration of community service activities for 1 day. The number of students who took part in the service was 60 people. In this service, it was found that almost all students have used the Internet with various uses both in the use of email, social media and social messenger, where Facebook is the most favorite social media for junior high school students. From the results of the pre and post-test evaluation, it was found that the level of student retention regarding telecommunications has increased.

Community service is one of the Tri Dharma Colleges that must be carried out by higher education institutions no exception for Maranatha Christian University. Community-based devotional activities provide additional knowledge of Internet of Things (IoT) technology to high school students of class 12 science SMA X Bandung. The topic of community service activities this time is in accordance with the agreement of cooperation between the SMA X Bandung and the Electrical Engineering Study Program of Maranatha Christian University which coincided with the initial debriefing activity of the new academic year, namely by providing knowledge of IoT technology and its application to students of SMA X Bandung so that students can know and understand the development of IoT technology that is growing rapidly at this time. The material provided in community service activities is the introduction of IoT, the basic electronic components, the introduction of Arduino, the application of IoT, and the Blynk application for IoT. The training methods used are tutorials and practices, with 70% of the practice in the demonstration and experimental methods. Participants in this activity gain knowledge and understanding of IoT technology, can realize a simple IoT application, and can realize IoT using the Blynk application on a smartphone.

Minat baca  siswa masih rendah. Hal ini disebabkan kurangnya pembiasaan dan contoh dari para orang tua dan guru. Siswa perlu diberikan contoh yang baik. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat diadakan di SMA Alikhlas Bekasi .Jumlah yang ikut dalam kegiatan ini sebanyak 15 siswa. Metode kegiatan dilakukan dengan cara pengumpulan analisis kebutuhan , pendampingan,evaluasi,dan penentuan kebutuhan dan pembiasaan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa para siswa SMA sudah mampu melaksanakan rencana dan aplikasi dari literasi  baca tulis dengan baik.   Kata Kunci  : Penyuluhan, Literasi ,Baca, tulis.                                           Abstract Students' reading interest is still low. This is due to the lack of habituation and examples from parents and teachers. Students need to be set a good example. Community service activities were held at Alikhlas Bekasi High School. The number of those who took part in this activity was 15 students. The method of activity is carried out by collecting needs analysis, mentoring, evaluating, and determining needs and habituation. The results of the activity showed that high school students were able to carry out plans and applications of literacy in reading and writing well.              Key Word : Counseling, literacy, reading, writing.

Preserving the culture of the archipelago's Islamic treasures is something that must be done One of the Islamic treasures that needs to be preserved is Penegusan Arabic Calligraphy. To this, community service activities wre carried out to provide training on all Metro City. The method used in mentoring to the community is Appeciative inquiry. The steps were iscovery, dream, design, define and destiny. This service used the Assed-Based Community Development (ABCD) approach. ABCD was ne of the discussions used in community service prioritizing existing assets and potential in the community compared to High School students.  The community service activity was carried out in 3 sessions, namely introducing and returning Arabic pegon, training to get calligraphy by the speaker and fixing it with independent calligraphy. Salo Palai Village is one of the villages in Kutai Kartanegara Regency, East Kalimantan which has the superior commodity of pepper 'Malonan'. Pepper land in Salo Palai Village reaches 169 ha with a productivity of 1.9 tons/ha. The pepper harvest is sold in granular form at a price of IDR 30,000.00/kg and there is no product diversification, such as pepper powder. This is what makes there is no increase in the selling value of pepper that has been produced by farmers. Community service activities in the marketing of powder pepper are expected to be an effort to provide an understanding of the importance of product diversification as an effort to increase selling value. The methods used are tutoring and training. This activity results the pepper powder products in packaged bottles with labels, which are expected to increase values.

The scope of breast milk (ASI) must always be increased with various effort according to the conditions of the community. Availability of nutritions and limited of funds are the factors that make to increase in the Caturharjo region that exclusive breast milk. One of effort is to teach PKK mothers to be able to reinventing waste benefits. Community service activities with Caturharjo village cadres can reach a wider area and PKK who are always in direct contact with posyandu activities in each hamlet. Activities carried out in the form of conseling and training with direct demonstrations. The results of activities attended by 91 health cadres have given results that there is an increase in the understanding of health cadres mothers about the use waste from average of 7.2 to 8.25 on a scale of 0-10 points. Health cadres are able to carry out breastfeeding correctly and safely. <p>Adolescence is prone to deviations and impropriety should be grown a sense of creativity. Creativity of students to be skilled in making VCO so that will grow entrepreneurship spirit for students. Skills in the way of making VCO is expected to increase students' creativity and applied in economic activities to increase student income. The solution offered from the problems that have been mentioned above, then training the manufacture of Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO) is very necessary. Program activities offered in the form of socialization or introduction of VCO products produced both from the benefits and advantages they have compared with other similar products, and there is also a demonstration later in the making of VCO and explanation of how the right and proper marketing. Implementation of community service is specifically a promotive effort in the field of business development to create skilled and productive student students in producing a health product that can later be utilized both for themselves, the family and the surrounding community. Community service activities, also relevant to economics and business, where the product will be marketed so that this can be an income or additional income for local students. The participants' response to this counseling is quite high, indicated by the attendance rate of 80% of the number of invitations. Understanding high school students and SMK Mutiara to the benefits and content of VCO and how to manufacture the correct VCO using this simple and cheap enzymatic method was responded with great enthusiasm by the participants.</p>
