The purpose of this study is to analyze: (1) find out how the influence of the principal's leadership on the performance of vocational level teachers. (2) knowing how the influence of the work environment on the performance of teachers at the SMK level. (3) To find out how the influence of school principal leadership and work environment on the performance of vocational school teachers. This research is a quantitative study according to Sujawerni. Randomly, five schools were selected as research subjects, namely Medan Darussalam Vocational School, Setiabudi Vocational School, Galang Insan Mandiri Vocational School, Medan 3 Vocational School and Medan 5 Vocational School. The analysis test results show that: (1) the performance of SMK Darussalam teachers is influenced by the leadership of the school principal and work environment by 0.157 (15.7%) while 84.3% is influenced by other variables. (2) The performance of SMK Setiabudi teachers is influenced by the leadership of the school principal and work environment by 0.536 (53.6%) while 46.4% is influenced by other variables. (3) The performance of Galang Insan Mandiri SMKS teachers was influenced by the leadership of the school principal and work environment by 0.376 (37.6%) while 62.4% was influenced by other variables. (4) The performance of SMK Negeri 3 Medan teachers is influenced by the leadership of the school principal and work environment by 0.555 (55.5%) while 44.5% is influenced by other variables. (5) The performance of SMK Negeri 5 Medan teachers is influenced by the leadership of the school principal and work environment by 0.138 (13.8%) while 86.2% is influenced by other variables.

The problem discussed in this study is the Effect of Principal Leadership and School Environment on the Performance of Taniwel State Vocational School Teachers. This study aims (1) To determine the effect of school principal leadership on teacher performance in SMK Negeri Taniwel; (2) To determine the effect of the school environment on the performance of teachers in Taniwel State Vocational School; and (3) To find out the influence of school principals leadership and school environment together on the performance of Taniwel State Vocational School Teachers. The data collection method used is the survey method type Ex post facto by distributing questionnaires (questionnaire) to teachers who have tested the reliability validity and in accordance with the research conducted. Analysis of the data used by using descriptive analysis, Linearity Test, Multicollinearity Test, T-Test, and F-Test. The results showed that (2) Headmaster's leadership had a positive and partially significant effect on Teacher Performance; (3) School environment has a positive and partially significant effect on Teacher Performance; and (4) Principal's Leadership and School Environment have a positive and significant effect simultaneously on the performance of Taniwel State Vocational School Teachers.

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of principal's leadership on social science teachers’ performance. The research was conducted in Pelalawan Regency taking Social Science teachers in Pelalawan Regency as the research subjects. The method used was a survey with quantitative techniques. The research sample was 150 Pelalawan Regency teachers selected using random sampling technique. The instrument used to collect data was a set of questionnaires used to quantify the school principal leadership level. Data of teachers’ performance were gathered from the teachers’ competency test (UKG) data. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant and positive influence of the principal's leadership on the performance of social science teachers at SMPN Pelalawan. The results of this study are expected to be useful for the improvement of the performance of school principals and social science teachers in Pelalawan Regency.

The presence of supervision at a school is an indispensable activity. One such supervision technique is a class visit. The purpose of this research is to find out how the implementation of supervision in the School with class visit techniques and their impact on the level of professionalism of teachers. This research uses a qualitative approach to the study of phenomology in SMP At-Tibyan. The main data sources are the Principal and Teacher. This study also uses a sampling procedure with research subjects of 5 teachers with different tenure at the school. The data collection technique is observation and is supported by interview techniques as a source of supporting data. Data analysis techniques according to Miles and Huberman include condensation of data, presentation of data, drawing conclusions. The results obtained are 1) the implementation of supervision of classroom visits has increased in terms of technical implementation, 2) the level of professionalism of At-Tibyan Middle School teachers is still low, 60% includes Professional teachers, 20% includes quite professional teachers, and 20% of teachers are not professional. The development of teacher professionalism needs to be done immediately and the role of the school principal can effectively support the development of the teacher's professionalism. As a controlling stage for the business, academic supervision can be carried out with classroom visits techniques that continue to improve the quality of implementation. Through supervision of class visits can be seen developments in the level of professionalism of teachers.

A school principal as a top manager has a strategic role in fostering the school teachers’ work discipline. The objective of his research was to describe the programs or policies made and the obstacles encountered by the principal in fostering the teachers’ work discipline at Islamic State Senior High School (MAN) 1 of Aceh Utara Regency. A descriptive – qualitative approach was used in conducting this research, and the  data were collected by doing interviews, observation, and documentation. The research subjects were the school principal and the school teachers. The results indicate that the aim of the programs fostering the teachers’ work discipline was to achieve the learning goals which might expectedly lead to the improvement of the school quality. Each program was arranged to provide a good, effective, and fun learning which should be the school goals – oriented. It was also found that in facing the teachers with a moderate level of work commitment, the principal implemented situational leadership while in dealing with the teachers who had higher level of work commitment, the principal implemented consultative and participative leadership. In addition, the principal often discussed with the teachers and listen to their ideas. The obstacles encountered by the principal in fostering the teachers’ work discipline and motivation were several teachers who came late to the school, those who prepared the incomplete learning tools, and those who used no media in teaching and learning process. Abstrak Kepala sekolah sebagai top manager memiliki peran yang strategis dalam meningkatkan disiplin kerja guru. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan program kepala  sekolah, kebijakan kepala sekolah untuk meningkatkan komitmen kerja guru, serta kendala kepala  sekolah dalam meningkatkan  kedisiplinan guru pada MAN 1 Kabupaten Aceh Utara. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif.Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi.Subjek  penelitian kepala sekolah dan guru. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa program peningkatan disiplin kerja guru bersasaran untuk tercapainya proses pembelajaran dengan optimal, sehingga pada akhirnya mutu sekolah dapat ditingkatkan. Setiap penyusunan program diarahkan agar proses pembelajaran berjalan dengan baik, efektif, dan menyenangkan, dan berorientasi kepada pencapaian tujuan sekolah. Kebijakan kepala sekolah untuk meningkatkan komitmen guru dengan menerapkan kepemimpinan yang bersifat situasional bagi guru-guru yang komitmen kerjanya biasa, tetapi sikap mereka lebih patuh dalam melaksanakan tugasnya, kepala sekolah menerapkan kepemimpinan konsultatif dan partisipatif. Kepala sekolah banyak berdiskusi untuk mendapatkan cara yang disetujui oleh guru-guru. Kendala dalam meningkatkan disiplin kerja guru  antara lain masih ada sebagian kecil guru yang datang terlambat ke sekolah, masih ada guru yang tidak menyiapkan perangkat pembelajaran dengan lengkap, tidak pernah menggunakan media dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran.

The research aims to find out the feasibility and effectiveness of using interactive multimedia using articulate storyline 2 on plant breeding course. It was conducted at State Vocational Senior High School (SMK Negeri 1) Loa Janan, East Kalimantan, Indonesia. It is development-based research which is a process used to develop and validate educational products using interactive multimedia Articulate Storyline 2 with the following respondents: multimedia experts, school teachers and all students of grade X of the school. Interviews were conducted with the school principal, media expert of Information Technology (IT), the teacher of plant breeding course and 4 students of the grade X, while the data were descriptively analyzed. The results of the research indicated that the feasibility of the research development was categorized very good or very feasible and its effectiveness has increased even exceeded the school completeness standard of 75.

Industrial development has an impact on competency requirements that must be aligned with the provision of competencies in vocational school. Vocational school graduates who are able to work in accordance with their field of expertise are one of the keys to the success of vocational education. The purpose of writing this article is to determine the vocational alignment based on the schema. The method used is qualitative with a case study approach. Data collection techniques using interviews. The research was conducted during a workshop organized by the Directorate of Vocational Education. The research subjects were Indonesian vocational school teachers. The research procedure used the Denzin & Lincoln model. Data analysis was carried out with the assistance of the Atlas.ti software version 8.3. The results of this study provide information that there are three important things that need to be done by vocational school and Industry to be able to carry out and develop competencies, namely process, strategic management, and duties and responsibilities. The three things that are the findings, of course, have their respective indicators which can be done specifically by vocational school and Industry. The results of this research can be used as a collective reflection for vocational school and industry in increasing competence and developing the ability to create quality graduates for vocational school and to find competent workforce candidates for Industry.

This study determined the effect of school principal leadership and school climate on the work productivity of SMK Pharmacy teachers in Palembang. Data in this study were collected through questionnaire distribution to respondents. The results of filling out the questionnaire were analyzed by multiple regression analysis through t test, F test, and the coefficient of determination test. The population in this study were all teachers who teach at the Pharmacy Vocational School in Palembang from 8 schools totaling 151 people. The sample in this study was based on calculations using the Slovin formula. So that the number of samples obtained in this study were 110 teachers. The results of this study indicate (1) there is a significant influence of school principal leadership on teacher work productivity; (2) there is a significant influence of school climate on teacher work productivity; (3) there is a significant influence of school principals leadership and school climate together on teacher work productivity. This paper contributes to educational principal to improve leadership and climate whether they would have very good teacher’s work productivity.

The Malaysia Education Development Plan 2013-2025 focuses on empowering school principal leadership as the main platform for developing school excellence. Therefore, this study was conducted to look at the transformational leadership relationships practiced by principals into two main elements that influence school excellence, namely the school climate and also teacher job satisfaction. A cross-district survey was used to collect data involving regular daily secondary school teachers in Kelantan. A total of 390 teachers from the population of 10866 were randomly selected using the grade sampling method. The instrument consists of 20 items already used to measure transformational leadership among principals (Femke Geijsel, Peter Sleegers & Rudolf van den Berg, 1999), 3 things to measure teacher job satisfaction (Johnson, Stevens & Zvoch, 2007), and 21 items used to measure school climate (James Griffith, 2003). The data were analyzed using IBM SPSS Version 25.0. The findings show that there is a significant positive relationship between transformational leadership towards the school climate and teacher job satisfaction. The findings can be used by school leaders in efforts to develop the school climate and environment as well as to adopt recommended approaches to improve teacher job satisfaction levels.

This study aims at determining the contribution of school principal leadership, work motivation and school climate to the  performance of elementary school teachers at Cluster IV District of Baturiti Tabanan Bali. This research was an ex-post facto research. The population which as also treated as the sample in this study were 61 teachers. Data in this study were collected by using questionnaires. Data analysis was performed by using simple regression, multiple regression, and partial correlation. The results showed that: (1) there was a significant contribution of headmaster leadership to the performance of elementary school teachers, (2) ) there is a significant contribution of teacher's work motivation to the performance of elementary school teacher; (3) there is significant contribution of work climate on the performance of elementary school teachers, and (4) together, there  is a significant contribution of principal leadership, motivation work and work climate on the performance of elementary school teachers.
