There is currently an imbalance between the skills mastered by vocational high school graduates with the skills needed in the labor market, especially employability skills, to maintain a job in various conditions and job requirements. This study aimed to examine the factors that affecting the employability skills of Beauty students namely career guidance, fieldwork practices, emotional intelligence, and self-efficacy. The respondents consisted of 254 students in Beauty Expertise Program at Gerbang Kertosusila. The instruments used in this study were questionnaire with a Likert scale and the statistical method using structural equation modeling (SEM). This study found no significant effect of career guidance, fieldwork practice, emotional intelligence, and self-efficacy on employability skills among Beauty students. The study also showed that career guidance and emotional intelligence have no significant effect on self-efficacy. However, fieldwork practice has a significant effect on the self-efficacy of Beauty students.

Purpose of the study: In this study, the primary aim is to identify the effects of self-efficacy and cyber bullying knowledge on cyber bullying risks among Jordanian students. Methodology: The population of the study specifically comprised of Jordanian students in Irbid students, with the study sample being 153 students. Accordingly, a questionnaire was developed and disseminated among the students to gather data for the achievement of the study objectives. The study used Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The study also employed AMOS 23.0 and SPSS 25.0 software in SEM. Main Findings: self-efficacy and cyber bullying knowledge factors do have significant effects on cyber bullying risks. Applications of this study: This research can be used for academic purposes for universities, lecturers of education and management, researchers and undergraduate and postgraduate students. Novelty/Originality of this study: The phenomenon that existed in cyber bullying and referring from various previous research results, the study regarding the cyber bullying was conducted and presented comprehensively and completely. It is necessary examine the effect of self-efficacy and cyber bullying knowledge factors on cyber bullying risks.

Study Design: This research is Quantitative Research using analytic observational with a cross-sectional approach. Background: Amputation hurts patients physically, psychologically and socially. Permanent physical disability due to amputation affects the thought, feeling and behavior of the patient, because patient will have the negative feeling on body image that can cause a feeling that he is not useful, worry about losing his job, pessimistic about the future and limit social relationships with self-withdrawal, so that patient will experience depression. Objectives: This research is to determine the factor affecting the subjective well being of transfemoral prosthesis users in Indonesia. Methods: The sample in this study was 110 users of the transfemoral prosthesis with a simple random sampling technique. The Data collection technique is using questionnaires and documentation. It was used Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) to analyze the data. Results: The result of this study had a statistically significant effect between motivation (p = 0.031), self-efficacy (p = 0.030), religiosity (p = 0.020), social support (p = 0.027), and optimism (p = 0.033) toward subjective well being. Conclusions: motivation, self-efficacy, religiosity, social support and optimism are the factors affecting the subjective well being of transfemoral prosthesis users in Indonesia. Clinical Relevance: Patient who had undergone amputation will have an effect on their subjective well being. It is important to know the factor affecting subjective well being of above knee amputation that use prosthesis. The factors are motivation, self-efficacy, religiosity, social support and optimism.

Self-efficacy is a key determinant of successful performance and plays a critical role in affecting an individual’s motivation and behavior. It refers to individuals’ levels of confidence in their ability to execute a course of action or achieve specific performance outcomes. Emotional intelligence (EI), or the intelligent use of emotions, is being recognized as a significant factor at work, and it can be enhanced through proper EI training interventions. Therefore, this study uses self-evaluation to achieve a better understanding of how EI relates to the self-efficacy among tour guides, who significantly influence tourists’ impressions of a destination. Structural equation modeling (SEM) is used to examine significant relationships between these factors. The results found all EI variables, including Self-Emotion Appraisal, Others’ Emotion Appraisal, Regulation of Emotion, and Use of Emotion, are positively associated with self-efficiency. The results have practical implications, as the abilities of EI are improved through the proper interventions which in turn allow an individual to become more confident in successfully completing tasks when faced with challenging situations, resulting in an increase in one’s positive mindset.

This study was conducted due to the lack of teachers’ Technological Pedagogical and Content Knowledge (TPACK). It examined the effects of teaching experience, training, facilities and infrastructure, self-efficacy, as well as motivation on teachers’ TPACK. The descriptive and explanatory methods with quantitative approaches were employed. The population of this study included 472 economics teachers in the Greater Bandung area, while the respondents were 217 economics teachers selected using the proportional probability sampling technique. The instrument used to collect the data was tried out to forty economics teachers. The instrument validity was measured using the CVR formula, and the instrument reliability was tested using construct reliability. The data were collected by means of questionnaires and then analyzed using descriptive analysis and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The results show that the teachers’ experience, training, facilities and infrastructure, self-efficacy, as well as motivation are at a low level. Likewise, the teachers’ TPACK seems to be low. Moreover, it is found that teaching experience, training, facilities and infrastructure, self-efficacy, as well as motivation have positive effects on teachers’ TPACK.

Background: The development of employability skills is a concern of educational institutions, which must introduce experiential learning scenarios for undergraduate students. Purpose: This study is aimed at testing the relationship between emotional intelligence and individual task performance in teams, during a recruiting activity for an experiential learning program. Methodology/Approach: Self-reported and third rater’s measures were used to assess both variables as part of the selection process of participants on an experiential learning program focused on engineering competitions. Exploratory structural equation modeling was used for data analysis. Findings/Conclusions: Results show partial support of the hypothesis by revealing a significant but apparently counterintuitive relationship. Implications: The study reveals the measurement of employability skills as a challenge and a necessity. For employers, it reinforces that teamwork, socialization, and daily organizational endeavors require the appropriate soft skills to obtain good performance levels.

In this article, a leadership model is presented, with which to investigate the relationship of trait emotional intelligence (trait EI), leadership self-efficacy and leader's task self-efficacy with collective task efficacy and group performance. The sample was made up of 217 undergraduate students, randomly assigned to work teams of 1 leader and 2 followers that were requested to perform a production task. An adapted version of the Schutte Self-Report Inventory (SSRI; Schutte et al., 1998) was used to measure trait EI. Structural equation modeling was used to test the hypothesized relationships. Results indicated that task self-efficacy was a mediator between leadership self-efficacy and collective task efficacy; the latter, in turn, was the best predictor of group performance. No significant relationship was found between trait EI and collective task efficacy although, unexpectedly, trait EI was positively associated with leadership self-efficacy. Implications of the results are discussed.

Purpose The purpose of this paper is to investigate the factors affecting entrepreneurial self-efficacy (ESE) in a developing country (Pakistan). The literature reports that entrepreneurship education does not enhance the level of ESE of the students. In the same vein, it is strongly emphasized that self-efficacy is the basic element in the entrepreneur’s undertakings. However, limited research has been conducted on the subject and the factors that impact ESE in the context of developing economies. Design/methodology/approach A quantitative approach was adopted, and data were collected from the 564 target respondents of different private and public universities of Pakistan. Structural equation modeling was used to investigate the association between the variables of the conceptual model. Findings This study found a positive and significant impact of the predictors, entrepreneurial knowledge, entrepreneurial experiences, instrumental readiness and risk propensity on ESE among the students. Practical implications The findings of the study will help in developing self-efficacy for entrepreneurship in young potential entrepreneurs. They will also assist higher education management in developing and designing entrepreneurship academic curriculum and programs for the achievement of program learning outcomes. In addition, the findings will contribute to the literature of entrepreneurship and self-efficacy factors in the context of the developing country. Originality/value The results of the study confirm empirically tested factors that have a positive impact on ESE in a developing country setting.

This study seeks to help fill an important gap in the literature by investigating factors that have facilitated the use of management accounting practices (MAPs) in Vietnam - a transitional economy. Data were collected from 220 medium-to-large enterprises. Follow-up interviews were conducted with 20 accounting heads/vice heads to obtain further information and clarification. The quantitative data collected was analyzed using both descriptive and inferential statistics (including t-tests and structural equation modeling), while the qualitative data was used to shed further light on the various relationships described by the quantitative analysis. This paper reveals that both decentralization and competition have a positive, significant influence on the use of new MAPs except for the old ones. Consequently, the use of MAPs has a positive, significant influence on enterprise performance.

This study aims to investigate the impact of parental career behaviors on undergraduate student’s career exploration and the mediating role of career self-efficacy. In the literature it is suggested that some social and individual factors facilitate students’ career exploration. Therefore, parental career behaviors and career self-efficacy is considered as predictors of student’s career exploration attitudes within the scope of the study. In this respect, data which are collected from 405 undergraduate students having an education on tourism and hotel management field by the survey method are analyzed by using the structural equation modeling. The results of the study indicate that parental career behaviors which are addressed support; interference and lack of engagement have a significant effect on student’s career exploration behaviors such as intended-systematic exploration, environment exploration and self-exploration. In addition, it has been found that one of the dimensions of parental career behaviors addressed as a lack of engagement has a significant effect on career self-efficacy levels of students. However, research results indicate that student’s career self-efficacy has a significant effect on only the self-exploration dimension. On the other hand, career self-efficacy has a partial mediating role between lack of engagement attitudes of parents and career exploration behaviors of students.
