It is impossible to imagine life without colors. Rango has its own contribution in making life alive. Blue sky, gray earth, colorful fruits, flowers, animals, birds and green trees have faded in light of the progress of science and technology in the beauty of the color combination that God has made in nature. Food is the primary requirement of every living being, it has also been given a variety of colors like red yellow orange, blue purple green, black by nature and has made it more beautiful, approachable and attractive. Yellow color of papaya and mango, watermelon, red color of cherry, green color of spinach gilki or purple color of berries, these not only make food attractive but also relieve stress, depression and pain of human beings and make them mentally healthy. . The color of food items is also indicative of its quality and state of development. If the bright wheat color has changed to brown or gray, then the weather has definitely affected it. Green mango is raw, yellow mango is ripe and brown color indicates its over-ripening or rotting. The colors that nature has given to various food items have nutritious and medical importance as well.

To the Editor.— Singer, in his article "Sanctity of Life or Quality of Life?" (Pediatrics 1983;72:128-129) has rejected the "sanctity-of-life view"—as he defines it. He calls it "the obsolete and erroneous notion of the sanctity of all human life." He states that "the philosophical foundations of this view have been knocked asunder." He adds "We can no longer base our ethics on the idea that human beings are a special form of creation made in the image of God."

Establishment of germplasm banks of ornamental species, together with breeding programs is fundamental for the growth of competitive cultivars of flowers that are the same or better quality than those developed in other countries. Around 100 progenies from a crossing between the cultivars Dendrobium 'Tong Chai Gold' and Dendrobium 'Black Jack' were obtained, from 50 plants which were selected and grown in pots in greenhouse conditions to evaluate the blooming stage and to select the progenies. Selection of vigorous growing plants and without disease symptoms were made in the period of cultivation. Also, there were evaluated the growing characteristics, rooting, early blooming, as well as the color, number and size of flowers in the first and second blooming. Six progenies with superior characteristics were chosen, from which Dendrobium 'Brazilian Fire 101' was obtained. This cultivar shows fast growth, good rooting, early flowering and high quality flowers, with predominantly yellow color, showing the ribs, the center of flowers and lip with red color. The durability of the flowers was 45-60 days after anthesis.

The Timaeus presents Plato’s theory of the cosmos. It exercised a strong influence on other ancient philosophers, including Aristotle, Galen, and the Stoics, not to mention later Platonists such as Plutarch, Proclus, and Plotinus. Its doctrine of a creator god inspired Early Christian thought, while in the Middle Ages it was one of the few Platonic works being read in the West. In modern times, after a period of relative neglect, it is now enjoying a resurgence of scholarly interest. The cosmology of the Timaeus explains the perceptible world as the creation of a benevolent god, the demiurge or “craftsman.” To make it as good as possible, the god fashioned the cosmos as an image of an eternal paradigm, specifically that of a complete living being. As a living being itself, the world has a rational soul and a body. Its immaterial soul rotates according to mathematical ratios, thereby causing the regular revolutions of the planets and the stars. Its body is composed of basic bodies—earth, air, water, and fire, each of which is built up geometrically from triangles in different configurations. Timaeus, the main speaker, introduces a “receptacle,” also dubbed “space” (chôra), to explain how the basic bodies come about and move. He explains the various sensible qualities through the motions of the basic bodies. Human beings are endowed with a rational soul, which when embodied acquires irrational parts. The demiurge’s assistants have, however, constructed these parts and the human body to help us survive and to develop our rationality. From this point of view, Timaeus describes the body’s various structures in detail. The aim of human life is to maximize our rationality through imitation of the world’s soul. Men who fail to do so are reincarnated as women or lower animals. For more on Plato, see the separate Oxford Bibliographies article Plato.

In this paper we have analyzed and compared idioms and proverbs of Italian and Serbian, where folk performances and observations about the influence of celestial bodies on human life are present, relying on the theory of Polish ethnolinguistic school. Astronomical culture is one of the oldest, developing from prehistoric man to the modern age in various forms and under different influences, from the imaginary view of celestial bodies to nurturing of cults, and the creation of numerous myths and legends. Due to their physical distance from the man, the Moon and the Sun have often been a subject of fantasy, therefore being animized (receiving the features of a living being), personified (presented as human beings) and sometimes deified (the Sun ascribing divine qualities) in linguistic structures. Idioms and proverbs are an impor- tant linguistic heritage for their speakers, because they are formed based on common values accepted by both language speakers and users showing an anthropocentric and not always realistic view of phenomena in the world. This paper is intended to highlight the existence of a common Indo-European nucleus in the perception of the celestial bodies, as well as to show a number of cultural differences that have left their mark in the observed languages.

Allah Almighty has made the life of the world in the Universe perishable. Therefore, he has also made the lives of human beings, animals, birds and insects living on the earth eternal. For the end of their lives, Allah Almighty has made different causes according to his Sunnah. Among these causes of the decline of worldly life are also diseases. On the other hand Allah Almighty has also created means to take life to the appointed time. Among these causes are medicines which can be used to prolong the life of this world till the appointed time. Therefore, along with diseases, Allah Almighty has also revealed to human beings various methods of treatment for diseases. One of these methods is the treatment of colors. Different colors have different effects on human life.  The proof of this is stated in the Holy Quran “The Said! Ask Allah to tell us what color it is. Musa Said! My Allah says: let its color be deep yellow, that it may please the beholders.” Since man is naturally endowed with beauty, Allah Almighty has adorned the universe with colors. This blessing is also mentioned in various places in the Holy Qur’an, as the Almighty says: “Do they not look at the sky above them, how we have made it and adorned it, and there is no crack in it?” “On top of these Paradises will be green garments of cherubim and silk rings and they will be adorned with silver bracelets”. The importance of colors has been mentioned in the Holy Quran. Keeping in view the importance of colors, Azimi Sahib has described the treatment of colors as a natural means of treatment. He has written “Treatment” “Color therapy” and “Theory of Color and Lights”. According to him, due to the excess and deficiency of colors, the human body suffers from various diseases. And if the deficiency and excess of the desired color in the body is corrected, the disease can be got rid of. Sunlight and rays help to eliminate abuse. Describing the mental properties of red, he has called it the color of courage and love. When things go awry and expectations are dashed, red dominates the mental center. The red color in the center of the red is an indication of abnormal emotional attachment or emotional trauma. People in the red color are in moderation, they help others and use all their abilities in their favorite hobbies.

Philosophy is a search for a general understanding of values and reality by chiefly speculative rather than observational means. It signifies a natural and necessary urge in human beings to know themselves and the world in which they live and move and have their being. Hindu philosophy is intensely spiritual and has always emphasized the need for practical realization of Truth. Philosophy is a comprehensive system of ideas about human nature and the nature of the reality we live in. It is a guide for living, because the issues it addresses are basic and pervasive, determining the course we take in life and how we treat other people. Hence we can say that all the aspects of human life are influenced and governed by the philosophical consideration. As a field of study philosophy is one of the oldest disciplines. It is considered as a mother of all the sciences. In fact it is at the root of all knowledge. Education has also drawn its material from different philosophical bases. Education, like philosophy is also closely related to human life. Therefore, being an important life activity education is also greatly influenced by philosophy. Various fields of philosophy like the political philosophy, social philosophy and economic philosophy have great influence on the various aspects of education like educational procedures, processes, policies, planning and its implementation, from both the theoretical and practical aspects. In order to understand the concept of Philosophy of education it is necessary to first understand the meaning of the two terms; Philosophy and Education.

Human beings are deeply related to land. Human beings take birth on land, live on land, die on land and mixes with land ultimately. As stated in the holy Quran: ‘We (Allah) created you (human beings) from the soil, we shall make you return to the soil and We shall call you back again from the soil’ (20:55). Human life is surrounded by soil i.e. land. So, land is a highly completed issue of human life involving economic, social, political, cultural and often religious systems. Land administration is thus a critical element and often a pre-condition for peaceful society and sustainable development. In administrating land, Khatian or record of rights plays a vital role to determine the rights and interests of the respective parties as supportive evidence. In this article, discussion is mainly made on the fact that Khatian or record of rights is not a document of title solely but it may be an evidence of title as well as possession. Since its evolution environment has remained both a matter of awe and concern to man. The frontier attitude of the industrialized society towards nature has not only endangered the survival of all other life forms but also threatened the very existence of human life. The realization of such potential danger has necessitated the dissemination of knowledge and skill vis-a-vis environment protection at all stages of learning. Therefore, learners of all stages of learning need to be sensitized with a missionary zeal. This may ensure transformation of students into committed citizens for averting global environment crisis. The advancement of science and technology made the life more and more relaxed and man also became more and more ambitious. With such development, human dependence on environment increased. He consumed more resources and the effect of his activities on the environment became more and more detectable. Environment covers all the things present around the living beings and above the land, on the surface of the earth and under the earth. Environment indicates, in total, all of peripheral forces, pressures and circumstances, which affect the life, nature, behaviour, growth, development and maturation of living beings. Irrational exploitation (not utilization) of natural resources for our greed (not need) has endangered our survival, and incurred incalculable harm. Environmental Education is a science, a well-thought, permanent, lasting and integrated process of equipping learning experiences for getting awareness, knowledge, understanding, skills, values, technical expertise and involvement of learners with desirable attitudinal changes about their relationship with their natural and biophysical environment. Environmental Education is an organized effort to educate the masses about environment, its functions, need, importance, and especially how human beings can manage their behaviour in order to live in a sustainable manner.  The term 'environmental awareness' refers to creating general awareness of environmental issues, their causes by bringing about changes in perception, attitude, values and necessary skills to solve environment related problems. Moreover, it is the first step leading to the formation of responsible environmental behaviour (Stern, 2000). With the ever increasing development by modern man, large scale degradation of natural resources have been occurred, the public has to be educated about the fact that if we are degrading our environment we are actually harming ourselves. To encourage meaningful public participation and environment, it is necessary to create awareness about environment pollution and related adverse effects. This is the crucial time that environmental awareness and environmental sensitivity should be cultivated among the masses particularly among youths. For the awareness of society it is essential to work at a gross root level. So the whole society can work to save the environment.
