This study aimed to: (1) Produce KKNI-based PhyCCTM learning tool to improve HOTS and independent character Learners, (2) to know the result of HOTS improvement in Physics learning by using KKNI-based PhyCCTM Learning Tool developed, (3) to know the level of character category self-supporting Learners in Physics learning using KKNI-based PhyCCTM learning tools developed, and (4) to know the effect of applying learning using KKNI-based PhyCCTM learning device to control class and experiment on HOTS and Independent character of Learners. The developed product uses R & D method in the form of KKNI-based PhyCCTM learning device on impulse and momentum materials covering Syllabus, RPP, Teaching Material, LKPD, HOTS Evaluation Test and Self Character Sheet. The study was conducted in SMAN 8 Yogyakarta and SMAN 1 Kasihan. The results showed that (1) PhyCCTM-based learning tools KKNI worthy of the category "Good and Very Good". (2) KKNI-based PhyCCTM learning tools can improve HOTS for learners (Sig. 2-tailed by 0.001). (3) KKNI-based PhyCCTM learning tools can enhance the independent character of learners with the category "Fair". (4) KKNI-based PhyCCTM-developed learning tools effectively improve HOTS and independent character of learners (Sig. 0.000).

This study was a research and development which aimed at developing and producing mathematics learning tool for Geometry learning which was valid, reliable, objective, and practical.The product expected from this study was the learning tools on the topic of Geometry which was valid (R>85%), practical ( observe = 2) , and effective (THB = 85,7%, students activity > 80%, and positive response 98,7%). The product was consisted of 8 components, namely (1) Lesson plan; (2) Text book; (3) Worksheet; (4) Evaluation test of learning tools; (5) Observation sheet of students activity; (6) Observation sheet on implementation of learning tool; (7) questionnaire of students respons; and (8) validation sheet. The development process of authentic evaluation instrument used the modification of 4-D Model from Thiagarajan.The tried out was conducted at SMAN 1 Enrekang to grade X students. The result of the study revealed that the development of authentic evaluation instrument for Geometry learning which was valid, reliable, objective, and practical. Suggestion for this study are (1) other researchers who are interested in developing this study should learn the limitation of this study and (2) the development of authentic evaluation instrument for Geometry learning should also develop other subject materials to assist teachers in evaluating student’s based on their competence.

The purpose of this study is to determine the validity of the physics learning devices with post organizer models assisted by videos. The research design used research and development (R & D) design with 4D model (define, design, develop, & disseminate). Learning tools developed are sylabus, lesson plan, learner worksheets, understanding of concept, and learning video. This paper only focused on the process of testing the validation of the contents and constructs of the learning tool. This study is restricted to limited testing by taking the results of validation from the validator and questionnaire of response from students. Validation results using CVR and CVI indicate learning tools in the very feasible categories and reliable. The results of limited trial show that students’ response of 99.94% and 98.31% with very good categories. So it can be concluded that tools with post organizer models assisted by learning videos are feasible and can be used in physics learning.

The research attempted to know the information on exam result Development of Physics learning tool for the students of eleven grade in Ende Island by using contextual teaching and learning in Fluid materials. It was viewed from the aspect of validity. Practicality and effectiveness. The kinds of research were development research that revers to ADDIE development model, analysis phase, design Development, implementation and evaluation. The Subject of the research was Physics learning device with approach learning model contextual teaching and learning to the students of Eleven Grade Ende Island Senior High School there are twenty nine students. Data collection was done in this research by using technique documentation. The data collection of research were done by using technique documentation, observations, survey and testing. The result showed that understanding the physics subject of fluid increased 82,7%, while students response showed positive response. This case showed that the reflection of the Egibilty of Development of Physics Learning tool based on Contextual Learning and teaching to increase the result of studying physic with Fluid materials.Keywords: Contextual Teaching and Learning, FluidaPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui informasi hasil ujicoba perangkat pembelajaran fisika untuk peserta didik  kelas X SMAN Pulau Ende dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Contextual Teaching and Learning pada materi fluida ditinjau dari aspek kevalidan, kepraktisan dan keefektifan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan yang mengacu model  pengembangan ADDIE, dengan tahapan Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah perangkat Pembelajaran fisika dengan pendekatan model pembelajran Contextual Teaching and Learning untuk peserta didik kelas XI SMAN Pulau Ende yang berjumlah 29 peserta didik.  Pengumpulan data yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik Dokumentasi, Observasi,  dan Tes, Penyebaran Angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman konsep fisika pokok bahasan fluida  mengalami peningkatan 82,7%. Sedangkan respon siswa menunjukkan respon positif. Hal ini menunjukkan kelayakan pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran fisika Berbasis Contextual Teaching and Learning untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar fisika peserta didik materi fluidaKata kunci: Contextual Teaching and Learning, Fluida

The development of learning tools is one of the abilities that must be possessed by teachers in each education unit in order to develop students' abilities in carrying out research-based learning. One tool that can support this goal is a learning tool based on research-based learning models with a scientific approach. The purpose of this study is to develop high school physics learning tools using a lerning based research model with a scientific approach with valid, practical and effective criteria. The type of research used is research and development. The results of research on the analysis of students obtained that class students have been able to develop the ability to solve problems. In the validity test obtained an average percentage of RPP 85.79%, an average handout of 85.68%, an average LKS of 86.20%, and an average rating of 87.50%. Practicality test results obtained an average percentage of the implementation of the RPP is 89.16%, the average teacher response questionnaire 90.83%, and the average student questionnaire response 88.33%. Furthermore, the results of the effectiveness test were obtained from an attitude competency assessment with an average of 86.50%, an average assessment of knowledge competence 87.50%, an average competency assessment of 89.50%. The research shows that the High School Physics Learning Tool uses a research-based learning model using a Scientific approach to the material characteristics of waves which are in the category of very valid, very practical, and very effective so that it is feasible to be applied in the learning process.

This study investigated the difference of student’s cognitive competency, scientific skills, and responsibility level after following teaching and learning process using discovery learning type less structured guided discovery and type guided discovery and describes the implementation and student’s activity on physics learning using teaching material based on discovery learning approah. The Subject of this study was students 10th grade  of SMK Negeri 2 Sumbawa Besar at 2nd semester academic year 2010/2011. It was experimental research of two-groups pretesst-posttest design. The techniques of data collecting are testing and observing. The data were analyzed desciptively and by using inferential statistic. The results revealed that: (1) Student’s cognitive competency, scientific skills, and responsibility level after following teaching and learning process using discovery approach with less structured guided discovery type was better than guided discovery type (2) The implemnetation of physic learning by using teaching material which based on discovery learning on both less structured guided discovery and guided discovery types were each 98.08%; (3) The steps of discovery learning on both less structured guided discovery and guided discovery types have been proved to be able develope student’s academic competency and responsibility character; (4) Student’s activities at physics learning by using teaching material which based on discovery learning described activities which relevant with steps of discovery learning on both the less structured guided discovery and guided discovery types.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji adanya perbedaan kemampuan kognitif,  keterampilan ilmiah, dan tingkat tanggung jawab siswa setelah diberikan pembelajaran discovery dengan tipe berbeda dan mendeskripsikan keterlaksanaan dan aktivitas siswa pada penerapan perangkat pembelajaran fisika yang berorientasi pada pendekatan discovery dengan tipe berbeda. Subyek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X SMK Negeri 2 Sumbawa Besar semester genap tahun ajaran 2010/2011. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimental dengan rancangan Two-Groups Pretest-Postest Design. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah pemberian tes dan observasi. Data-data yang dikumpulkan dianalisis secara deskriptif dan menggunakan statistik inferensial. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa: (1) kemampuan kognitif,  keterampilan ilmiah, dan tingkat tanggung jawab siswa setelah diberikan pembelajaran fisika melalui pendekatan pembelajaran penemuan (discovery learning) tipe less structured guided discovery lebih baik daripada tipe guided discovery; (2) keterlaksanaan pembelajaran fisika yang menggunakan perangkat pembelajaran berorientasi pada pendekatan discovery adalah  98,08 % pada kedua tipe guided discovery dan tipe less structured guided discovery; (3) aktivitas siswa  selama penerapan perangkat pembelajaran fisika yang berorientasi pada pendekatan discovery menggambarkan aktivitas siswa yang sesuai dengan tahap-tahap pembelajaran discovery baik pada tipe guided discovery maupun pada tipe less strucured guided discovery; dan (4) penerapan perangkat pembelajaran fisika yang berorientasi pada pendekatan pembelajaran discovery pada kedua  tipe less structured guided discovery dan tipe guided discovery terbukti dapat mengembangkan kemampuan akademik dan karakter tanggung jawab siswa.

This research is a classroom action research conducted at SD Negeri 001 Empat Balai, this research is basedon: (a) lack of ability of teacher in making learning device; (b) learning devices are only used as a complementand not for teaching needs; and (c) some teachers again if they are asked the learning device answer has no orhas not made it. Based on this research, researchers conducted research by applying the method of assigningtasks to improve the ability of teachers in making learning tools. This study was conducted in two cycles, eachcycle is implemented based on four stages: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The results ofresearch indicate that the ability of teachers in making learning devices increases. This is seen in the first cycleof 59% with good enough category and in the second cycle increased to 76% with Excellent category. Based onthis data, it can be concluded that the application of assignment method can improve teacher ability in makingSD Negeri 001 Empat Balai learning tool.

This study was conducted to evaluate the effectiveness of the use of the Malay language learning tool called PETAH to improve its communication skills. Learning aids are among the important elements to improve one's language skills, especially for second or foreign speakers. Past studies conducted by researchers like Fa'izah et.al (2010), Khuzaiton (2012) and others have proven that there are issues of communication among speakers of languages ​​other than English in the non-Malays in Malaysia. Based on these issues, the main objective of this study is to analyze the effectiveness of the use of PETAH learning aids on improving the communication skills of students who use it. This study uses a quantitative research method that uses a questionnaire containing 25 items aimed at the effectiveness of the use of PETAH learning aids. This questionnaire instrument was used to get feedback from respondents after they used PETAH learning aids. Data from the questionnaires were analyzed using SPSS version 21. The results showed that the majority of respondents (mean values ​​ranging from 3.35 to 4.71) agree that PETAH learning tools have improved their effectiveness in communication Malay language, especially if used continuously. In conclusion, a learning tool PETAH has a good impact on the improvement of communication skills of Malay language among non-Malays speakers in Malaysia.

The use of mobile learning tool has controversy in Indonesian schools. Some teachers feel that it would interfere with the learning process in the classroom, but at the same time teachers saw a lot of potential of mobile technology. The goal of this study is to observe secondary schools on facilitating students through the use of mobile learning. This research is descriptive qualitative evaluations on the assembling mobile learning in several secondary schools in several regions in Indonesia during 2014-2015. The results of this study indicate that some of the schools that have implemented mobile learning, there is a tendency that mobile learning was not in a planned and structured as a school program. Two things are important to solve this condition are the availability of government policy and increase literacy teachers in managing mobile learning application.

West Sumatera is a disaster prone area, especially disasters such as earthquakes, landslides, floods,tsunamis, and volcanoes. The high potential of natural disasters has consequences for the importance ofdisaster mitigation efforts. School is an effective tool in shaping of mindset and behavior of students. Oneeffort that can be done is integrate the topic of natural disaster into learning, especially physics learning.Integrating physical matter in learning requires material analysis aimed at making disaster topics integratedin accordance with learning topic. The type of this research is descriptive research. The results of theresearch indicate that an analysis of the relevance of learning material to the topic of integrated disastersneeds to be done so that the integration between teaching material and the topic of disasters is carried out inharmony. Almost all physics learning material can be integrated with the topic of disasters that often hit theWest Sumatra region. The classification of material on the topic of integrated disasters is classified into factand metacognitive material.
