This research aimed to discover the level of anxiety in students before the exam and the effect of music classic (Mozart) to reduce such anxiety. The study was conducted at SMP Negeri 1 Ciruas with students with a high level of anxiety, which has been revealed from the results of the anxiety scale questionnaire using a purposive sampling technique with a total of 68 respondents. This research was used with an experimental method consisting of an experimental group and a control group. From the treatment, the results showed pre-test 12.55 in the high category and post-test 7.852 in the medium category. This shows changes in the results before and after the treatment is given. It can be concluded that the effect of the use of music (Mozart) can reduce student anxiety before the test.

The objectives of this study are: (1) Determine the effect of trunk buoys on backstroke swimming skills (2) Determine the effect of back buoys on backstroke swimming skills (3) Knowing which is more influential between rod buoys and back buoys on backstroke swimming skills in Kampoeng learn swimming club. In this study the authors used the experimental method by trying out a treatment to find out how much influence it had on the object it was holding. The population used in this study was the Kampoeng students learning swimming clubs, amounting to 104 students, while the sample used was 28 people from students who were not proficient in backstroke swimming with a sampling technique using purposive sampling. From the calculation results it can be seen that the average difference between pre-test and post-test occurred significantly in the experimental group (stem buoy users) 34.00 while the average control group (back buoy user) 36.00 for backstroke swimming skills. Calculation results t comparison of the differences in the two learning outcomes 2.133 smaller than t Table 2.158. Thus we can reject the hypothesis (Ho), then it can be concluded that: Back buoy media is more influential on backstroke swimming skills compared to stem buoys

Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh anak kelompok A RA As-Syuhada. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh anak kelompok A yaitu kelompok A1 berjumlah 20 anak sebagai kelompok kontrol dan kelompok A2 berjumlah 20 anak sebagai kelompok eksperimen dengan menggunakan teknik nonprobability sampling yaitu purposive sampling. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah one group pre test – post test design. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai rata-rata pretest pada kelas eksperimen adalah 47,1 dan nilai kelas kontrol adalah 63,05. Nilai rata-rata posttest pada kelas eksperimen adalah 65,15, sedangkan nilai rata-rata posstest kelas kontrol adalah 48,1. Sedangkan untuk uji t antara kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen dengan dk=20 dan a=5% diperoleh = 8,37 dan =1,729, jadi  >  maka terdapat pengaruh penggunaan media permainan ular tangga terhadap kemampuan mengenal lambang bilangan 1-10.Kata Kunci : Lambang Bilangan 1-10, Permainan Ular Tangga  This type of research is quantitative. The population in this study were all children of group A at RA As-Syuhada. The sample in this study were all children of group A that is group A1 amounted to 20 children as control group and group A2 amounted to 20 children as experimental group by using nonprobability sampling technique that is purposive sampling. The research design used is one group pre test - post test design. The results showed that the average value of pretest in the experimental class was 47.1 and the control class score was 63.05. The average posttest value in the experimental class is 65.15, while the mean value of the control class posstest is 48.1. As for t test between control class and experiment class with dk=20  and a=5% obtained = 8,37  and =1,729, so  >  then there is influence of usage of game media of snake ladder to ability to recognize symbol of number 1-10.Keywords : Symbol of Numbers 1-10, Snake Ladder Game

Abstrak. Pada zaman yang semakin canggih ini penggunaan gadget tidak terbatas pada kalangan orang dewasa saja melainkan anak-anak juga telah menggunakan gadget. Gadget digunakan untuk membantu memenuhi segala kebutuhan salah satunya adalah kebutuhan mencari hiburan dengan bermain game, yang dengan mudah bisa dimainkan dengan menggunakan internet. Penggunaan internet untuk bermain game secara terus menerus dan mengakibatkan dampak negatif bagi dirinya akan menyebabkan internet gaming disorder. Tingginya tingkat internet gaming disorder pada anak dapat diatasi, salah satunya dengan memberikan pelatihan kontrol diri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan konrol diri sebagai metode eksperimen dalam mengurangi tingkat internet gaming disorder pada anak usia sekolah serta melihat seberapa besar pengaruh perlakuan pada tingkat internet gaming disorder. Penelitian ini merupakan  penelitian eksperimen dengan desain control group pre-test post-test. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada 12 orang anak usia sekolah 9-11 tahun dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling yang terbagi menjadi 2 grup. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya pengaruh signifikan pelatihan kontrol diri terhadap tingkat internet gaming disorder (p = 0,04 dimana nilai p < 0,05). Dengan begitu, pelatihan kontrol diri dapat menurunkan internet gaming disorder pada anak usia sekolah. Kata kunci: Internet Gaming Disorder, Pelatihan Kontrol Diri, Anak Usia Sekolah  Abstract. In this particular sophisticated era, the use of gadget is not limited only within the reach of the adults but also children for the sake of fulfilling many of the needs which one of it happened to be the need of entertainment through internet gaming. The use of internet for playing games continuously with its negative effect will lead to an Internet Gaming Disorder. High level of Internet Gaming Disorder can be overcome, one of it would be by giving a self-control training. This research aims to apply a self-control training as an experimental method to reduce the level of Internet Gaming Disorder in children as well as sighting at how much of an impact the intervention will be on the level of IGD. This research is experimental with control group pre-test post-test design. 12 children with the age of 9-11 will be chosen as participants through purposive sampling technique. The result of this research showed that there is a significant impact of a self-control training towards the level of igd (p = 0.04). This study is aimed at finding out the effect of Collaborative Strategic Reading (CSR) on students’ achievement in reading comprehension on hortatory exposition text. Experimental design was applied in this research. The population was the 2014/2015 second year students (grade XI) of SMA Swasta YAPIM Medan. There were two paralel classes that consisted of 34 students. The total number of the population were 68 students. The total number of the sample were 68 students. The researcher selected the sample by using total sampling technique. The sample was divided into two groups, experimental group and control group. The experimental group was taught by using Collaborative Strategic Reading (CSR) strategy while the control group was taught without using Collaborative Strategic Reading (CSR) strategy. The data were taken by administering the pre-test and post-test to both control and experimental groups. These data were analyzed by using t-test. The result of computing the t-test obviously showed that t-observed (5.61) is higher than t-table (1.99) with the degree of freedom (df= 66) at the level significance 0.05. It means that the alternative hypothesis stating that there is a significant effect of Collaborative Strategic Reading (CSR) on students’ achievement in reading comprehension on hortatory exposition text is accepted. The purpose of this study was to determine how much influence the cooperative learning model type student team's achievement division has on basketball shoot lay-up skills. The research method used in this research is a quasi-experimental method. The type of research design used was the non-equivalent group design. The population in this study were students of class XI SMA Negeri 1 Majalengka in 2019 totaling 424 students. The sampling technique used in this study was cluster random sampling technique. The sample in this study amounted to 214 students consisting of class XI IPS 1-4 and XI MIPA 7-8. The experimental group class XI IPS 1-2 and XI MIPA, control group class XI IPS 3-4 and XI MIPA 8. The results showed that the mean pre-test lay-up shoot of the experimental group was 4.09 while the control group was 3.92. The mean post-test shoot lay-up of the experimental group was 6.76 while the control group was 4.72. Furthermore, by looking at 95% confidence interval of the difference, there is a difference between the shoot lay-up results of the experimental group and the control group, which is -0.190 to 2.412. Thus, it can be concluded that STAD is effective in improving basketball shoot lay-up skills.

Emotion is the ability of a person to express the state of mind which he is, but when a person is mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually unstable results in a psychological change and helpless on situations. The purpose of the study was to nd out Effect of SKY yoga and pranayama on emotion among college girls .To achieve the purpose of the study 45 College girls were selected randomly from Coimbatore as the subjects. The subject's age ranged from 18 to 21 years. . The selected subjects were divided into 3 groups. Experimental Group I under went on sky yoga only & Experimental Group II went on pranayama only for 50 minutes per day, six days a week for 12 weeks. The control group was not given any practice. The pre-test and post-test were conducted before and after the training for all three groups. The data collected from the groups before and after the training period were statistically analysed by using Analysis of Co-Variance (ANACOVA) to determine the signicant difference and tested at 0.05 level of signicance. The result of the study showed that there was signicant improvement in the emotion of the Experimental Groups I, II subjects than the Controlled group. Through the SKY yoga and Pranayama Emotion got controlled. The conclusion was that SKY yoga controlled emotions and got reduced the psychological effects depression and stress etc. among college girls.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effectiveness of memory strategies (MSs)in improving students' ability to recall and spell newly learned vocabulary items. The researcheronly considered three types of MSs: grouping, placing new words in to a context and structuredreviewing. In addition, the study used a questionnaire that explored students' attitudes towardsMSs in general, and towards the specific MSs that they have been trained to use, as well as therelationship between MSs and motivation and between MSs and anxiety. intact groups (63 students in total) were selected from level three of the College of Languages and Translation (COLT) at King Saud University (KSU), Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The two groups were assigned to the experimental group (36 students) and the control group(27students). The control group received traditional instruction that depended on the textbook without any MS training, whereas the experimental group received a combination of traditional instruction and MS training. A pre- and post-test were administered to both groups before and after the experiment to examine students' ability to recall the meaning of vocabulary items and their ability to spell them correctly. The experiment lasted for fourteen weeks through which the participants received seven MS training sessions. The study found out that MS training was effective in improving students' ability to recall the meaning of vocabulary items when needed and their ability to spell them correctly. Moreover, the results showed that the subjects of the experimental group showed positive attitude towards MSs and most of them agreed on the positive effect that MSs had on raising their motivation and reducing their anxiety while learning vocabulary.

This study explores the effect of differentiated teaching method vs. traditional teaching method on students’ learning at ‘A’ level. It is an experimental research, conducted in Aitchison College. By applying simple random sampling technique, 70 students are selected as a sample from the population. Pre-test and post-test are conducted for data collection. Research investigates, how differentiated method of teaching effects learners’ academic achievement. The retention level of the students who are taught via differentiated teaching and traditional teaching method is. After conducting a posttest, data is analyzed with pair-sample and independent sample t-test by using SPSS. Analysis shows that the students taught via differentiated teaching have more power of retention than the students taught via traditional teaching methods. The control group perform up to application level while experimental group perform up to evaluation level of cognitive domain.

THE EFFECT OF GREEN CHEMISTRY LAB EXPERIMENTS ON STUDENTS' ATTITUDES TOWARDS CHEMISTRYAbstractThis study aimed to investigate the effect of green chemistry lab experiments and the traditional chemistry lab experiments on students’ attitudes towards chemistry. This type of study was a quasi-experiment with a non-equivalent pretest-posttest control group design. The population of this study was all the Class XI of Natural Sciences in SMA Negeri 4 Singaraja, totaling five classes. Samples were selected by a purposive sampling technique. Sciences of 2 and 5 was the control group taught by traditional chemistry lab experiments, while Class XI of Natural Sciences of 3 and 4 was the experimental group taught by green chemistry lab experiments. Students’ attitudes towards chemistry were measured by a questionnaire given to students before and after the chemistry lab experiments. The results of this study indicated that students’ attitudes toward chemistry were better in the green chemistry lab experiments with a mean score of 4.34 than in the traditional chemistry lab experiments with a mean score of 4.15. AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan menyelidiki pengaruh praktikum kimia hijau dan praktikum kimia tradisional pada sikap siswa terhadap kimia. Jenis penelitian adalah eksperimen kuasi dengan rancangan non-equivalent pretest-posttest control group. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa Kelas XI IPA di SMA Negeri 4 Singaraja yang berjumlah lima kelas. Sampel dipilih dengan teknik purpossive sampling. Kelas XI IPA 2 dan 5 sebagai kelompok kontrol yang diajar dengan praktikum kimia tradisional, sedangkan Kelas XI IPA 3 dan 4 sebagai kelompok eksperimen yang diajar dengan praktikum kimia hijau. Sikap siswa terhadap kimia diukur dengan inventori yang diberikan kepada siswa sebelum dan setelah kegiatan praktikum kimia. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan sikap siswa terhadap kimia lebih baik pada praktikum kimia hijau dengan skor rata-rata 4,34 dibandingkan dengan praktikum kimia tradisional skor rata-rata 4,15.

The aim of this study is to examine the effects of 6-week Zumba exercises on flexibility, leg strength, back strength and muscular endurance parameters in women aged 25-45. The research group consists of a total of (n=20) women, (n=10) in the experimental group and (n=10) in the control group, between the ages of 25-45 living in Istanbul. The participants in the experimental group were given 60 minutes of Zumba exercises 3 days a week for 6 weeks, and sit-reach, 1-minute sit-up and strength test measurements were made to the participants before and after the exercise program. Participants in the control group were not included in any exercise program. As a result of the analysis, it was determined that there was a statistically significant difference between the participants' flexibility, leg strength, back strength and muscular endurance values between the pre-test and post-test within the group (p< 0.05). In addition, there was no significant difference between the pre-test and post-test values between the groups (p< 0.05). In conclusion; It was determined that zumba exercises applied to the experimental group did not have a significant effect on flexibility, muscular endurance and back strength. In the leg strength parameter, the effect of zumba exercises applied to the experimental group on leg strength was found to be significant at a rate of 34%. In the light of these data, it was concluded that zumba exercises performed in sedentary women have a positive effect on lower extremity strength.
