Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh anak kelompok A RA As-Syuhada. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh anak kelompok A yaitu kelompok A1 berjumlah 20 anak sebagai kelompok kontrol dan kelompok A2 berjumlah 20 anak sebagai kelompok eksperimen dengan menggunakan teknik nonprobability sampling yaitu purposive sampling. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah one group pre test – post test design. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai rata-rata pretest pada kelas eksperimen adalah 47,1 dan nilai kelas kontrol adalah 63,05. Nilai rata-rata posttest pada kelas eksperimen adalah 65,15, sedangkan nilai rata-rata posstest kelas kontrol adalah 48,1. Sedangkan untuk uji t antara kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen dengan dk=20 dan a=5% diperoleh = 8,37 dan =1,729, jadi  >  maka terdapat pengaruh penggunaan media permainan ular tangga terhadap kemampuan mengenal lambang bilangan 1-10.Kata Kunci : Lambang Bilangan 1-10, Permainan Ular Tangga  This type of research is quantitative. The population in this study were all children of group A at RA As-Syuhada. The sample in this study were all children of group A that is group A1 amounted to 20 children as control group and group A2 amounted to 20 children as experimental group by using nonprobability sampling technique that is purposive sampling. The research design used is one group pre test - post test design. The results showed that the average value of pretest in the experimental class was 47.1 and the control class score was 63.05. The average posttest value in the experimental class is 65.15, while the mean value of the control class posstest is 48.1. This research aimed to investigate the effect of the herbal medicine treatment on the hemoglobin levels in female students of Syekh Yusuf Academy of Midwivery (AKBID), Gowa Regency.The research used the experimental method with the pre-post test design. The sampels comprising 60 respondens were chosen using the total sampling technique. The total samples were divided into two group 30 respondents were in the intervention group and 30 respondents in the control group.The data were analyzed using Paired Sampel T-Test assisted by SPSS Program in order to look at the effect of the treatment with herbal medicine on the hemoglobin levels.The research results indicated that in the intervention group the mean level of Hb before the intervention was 10.19 gr/dl and it increased after the intervention to 11.4 gr/dl,while in the control group before the intervention the mean value of hemoglobin 10.4 gr/dl and after the intervention was 10.9 gr/dl thus,the research result indicated the correlation between herbal medicine and hemoglobin level in teenagers (p= 0,000). Hepatitis has become a health problem in the world. The hepatitis virus infected many people. According to the teacher of MTsN 02 Bondowoso more than 20 students have hepatitis A viral infection. The purpose of this research was to know the differences of students' knowledge about hepatitis A before and after counseling in MTsN 02 Bondowoso 2015. This study used pre-experimental (pre-post test design). This study used stratified random sampling technique, 127 students from 270 sample involved this research,and 143 students was excluded. We used questionnaires to collect data. The results showed that the mean value of the students 'knowledge about hepatitis A before counseling in MTsN 02 Bondowoso 2015 was 83.96 with the lowest value of 37.5 and the highest value was 100. The mean value of the students' knowledge about hepatitis A after counseling in MTsN 02 Bondowoso 2015 was 93.21 with the lowest value waf 62.5 and the highest value was 100. Paired t test showed that t (-9.07) > t table (1.98), the null hypothesis (H0) was rejected. There was a difference between students' knowledge about hepatitis A before and after counseling in MTsN 02 Bondowoso 2015. This study showed that routine counseling by healthcare provider was important to prevent hepatitis A infection.; Keywords: counseling, knowledge of students, hepatitis


The purpose of the research was to investigatethe effect of activity-based games on the academic achievement of graduate-level pupils in social sciences.An experimental research design with a pre-and post-test control group was used in this study. As pre-test and post-test, MCQ achievement tests containing 70 items were used as research methods for data collecting. The initial stage in this initiative was to collect data on what inspires children to learn. Both groups took a pre-test, and the results were tallied.The project's second phase was to study the effects of variousactivities on academic achievement. Both groups were given an MCQ performance test. The T-test was used to analyze the data. The findings of this study demonstrated that, compared to the control group, mostpupils'marks improved in the experimental group. The mean value showedthat experimental group participants scored 18.77on the post-test, while control group students scored 16.21. According to a post-lesson poll, most students regarded activity-based games to be more engaging than lecture-based instruction.

The aim of this study was to know the effectiveness of the use of alphabet cards game as interesting tool to explain vocabularies and it make it easier to remember their meanings. This study belongs to the quasi experimental research and presents pre-test, post test and to investigate the effect of using alphabet cards game on vocabulary mastery of commercial business administration students. The participants were the students from commercial business administration students at the third semester (N=54) of State Polytechnic Bengkalis and divided into two groups. Both groups were taught vocabulary, however, the experimental group students who are exposed to alphabet cards game and the controlled group students who received conventional method. Pre-test and post-test were given to both experimental group students and controlled group students. The score of the vocabulary tests were compared through independent sample t-test. The mean value of pre-test of experimental class was 61.35, while the control class was 52.23. After learning using alphabet card games in experimental class the mean value obtained in post-test was 78.85, while in control class was 59.04.  The improved of learning outcomes can be seen from the level of significance was 0.000 and it was lower than t test 0.000<0.05.  It means that the hypothesis null is not accepted. Therefore, it can be concluded that the score of the students in learning vocabulary between the experimental group and control group was significantly different. The experimental group students who learned vocabulary using alphabet cards game had increased their vocabulary mastery.

The purpose of this study was to determine how much influence the cooperative learning model type student team's achievement division has on basketball shoot lay-up skills. The research method used in this research is a quasi-experimental method. The type of research design used was the non-equivalent group design. The population in this study were students of class XI SMA Negeri 1 Majalengka in 2019 totaling 424 students. The sampling technique used in this study was cluster random sampling technique. The sample in this study amounted to 214 students consisting of class XI IPS 1-4 and XI MIPA 7-8. The experimental group class XI IPS 1-2 and XI MIPA, control group class XI IPS 3-4 and XI MIPA 8. The results showed that the mean pre-test lay-up shoot of the experimental group was 4.09 while the control group was 3.92. The mean post-test shoot lay-up of the experimental group was 6.76 while the control group was 4.72. Furthermore, by looking at 95% confidence interval of the difference, there is a difference between the shoot lay-up results of the experimental group and the control group, which is -0.190 to 2.412. Thus, it can be concluded that STAD is effective in improving basketball shoot lay-up skills.

This research aimed to discover the level of anxiety in students before the exam and the effect of music classic (Mozart) to reduce such anxiety. The study was conducted at SMP Negeri 1 Ciruas with students with a high level of anxiety, which has been revealed from the results of the anxiety scale questionnaire using a purposive sampling technique with a total of 68 respondents. This research was used with an experimental method consisting of an experimental group and a control group. From the treatment, the results showed pre-test 12.55 in the high category and post-test 7.852 in the medium category. This shows changes in the results before and after the treatment is given. It can be concluded that the effect of the use of music (Mozart) can reduce student anxiety before the test.

This research is motivated by the problems of students who fail to achieve happiness in their lives; this is caused by the inability of students to make adjustments to all forms of change in maintaining survival. Efforts that can be made to overcome this problem are to provide group guidance services with game techniques. This study aims to test whether the game technique in group guidance services is effective for improving students' self-adjustment. The method used in this research is experimental research using Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The results showed that there was a change in the mean value at the pre-test of 93.43 for the experimental class and 92.57 for the control class and the mean value at the post-test of 151.64 for the experimental class and 98.71 for the control class. So that the mean value at the time of post-test increased by 58.21 for the experimental group and 06.14 for the control group. These changes mean that group guidance with game techniques is empirically proven to be effective in increasing student adaptation

The aim of this research is to know the effect of using Predict Observe Explain (POE) method toward students’ achievement in Physics. This is an experimental research by using experimental group and control group. The research design was Post-test Only Control Group Design. The population of this research was the students of class VII SMPN 1 Lembar academic year 2015/2016. The sampling technique was Cluster Random Sampling in which class VII 2 as the control group and class VII 3 as the experimental group. Both of the groups were given a pre-test before the treatment to know the homogeneity of the groups. The instrument used is an objective test in form of multiple choices. The finding showed that the mean of the posttest in experimental group was 70 and the control group was 60.67, in which both of them were distributed normal and homogeneous. The post-test result was analyzed by using t-test (t-test polled variants) in which the value of the was 2.473 and the  was 2.015 with dk=46 and the significant level was 5%. It showed that the was accepted and was rejected. Therefore, it can be concluded that Predict Observe Explain (POE) Method gave significant effect to the students’ achievement in Physics at Class VII SMPN 1 Lembar Academic year 2015/2016.

Abstract: Changes to respiratory function due to regular aerobic exercise will affect the value of pulmonary function, especially in Forced Vital Capacity (FVC). This research aimed to determine the effect of aerobic exercise on FVC overweight male students of Unsrat Medical Faculty. This research is analytic with design experimental, one group pre and post test design. The sampling technique used is non-purposive sampling technique. The research sample was taken from the students of the Faculty of Medicine 2009, Univercity of Sam Ratulangi who fulfill the inclusion criteria. Some 32 students were selected as research subjects. After giving informed consent, FVC measurement was done with the spirometer. After it was measured, they were given treatmen in the form aerobic exercise using a stationary bike for three weeks with frequency of exercise three times a week and exercise intensity for 30 minutes. We measured again FVC values after the exercise three times program. Normality test data showed significance for FVC value before treatment by 0.752, and after treatment by 0.912. Comparison of the average value before and after exercise were tested by using a paired test. Significant value for FVC is P = 0.084, means there is no significant difference between FVC values before and after exercise (P> 0.05). The mean FVC was 3.88 before treatment and after treatment the mean value was 4.00, an increase in the average value of 0.11. Conclusion:Aerobic Exercise on a regular basis using a stationary bike on the overweight male student can improve lung function in particular the mean FVC but there was no significant difference from the mean value. Keywords: FVC, Aerobic Exercise, Overweight.   Abstrak: Perubahan fungsi pernapasan karena latihan aerobik secara teratur akan mempengaruhi nilai fungsi paru khususnya Forced Vital Capacity (FVC). Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh latihan aerobik terhadap FVC mahasiswa pria Fakultas Kedokteran Unsrat dengan berat badan lebih.Penelitian ini bersifat analitik dengan rancangan eksperimental one grup pre and post test design. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik non purposive sampling. Sampel penelitian diambil dari Mahasiswa Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Sam Ratulangi Angkatan 2009.Sejumlah 32 orang mahasiswa terpilih sebagai subjek penelitian dan dilakukan pengukuran FVC dengan Spirometer.Setelah itu diberikan perlakuan berupa latihan aerobik menggunakan sepeda statis selama tiga minggu dengan frekuensi latihan tiga kali seminggu dan intensitas latihan selama 30 menit.Selanjutnya dilakukan pengukuran kembali nilai FVC sesudah program latihan.Uji normalitas data menunjukkan nilai signifikansi untuk FVC sebelum perlakuan sebesar 0.752, dan sesudah perlakuan sebesar 0.912. Perbandingan nilai rata  rata  sebelum dan sesudah latihan diuji dengan menggunakan uji t berpasangan.Nilai signifikan untuk FVC adalah P = 0.084, berarti tidak terdapat perbedaan yang bermakna antara nilai FVC sebelum dan sesudah latihan (P > 0.05) .Nilai rerata FVC sebelum pelakuan adalah 3,88  dan nilai rerata sesudah perlakuan adalah  4,00,  terjadi penigkatan nilai rerata sebesar 0,11.Simpulan:Latihan Aerobik menggunakan sepeda statis secara teratur dapat meningkatkan nilai rerata fungsi paru khususnya FVC tetapi tidak terdapat perbedaan yang bermakna dari nilai rerata tersebut. Kata Kunci: FVC, Latihan Aerobik, Berat Badan Lebih (Overweight).

This study aimed to investigate the impact of virtual laboratories (VLabs) on academic achievement and Learning Motivation in the Students of Sudanese Secondary School in the subject of chemistry. The study followed a quasi-experimental method. The population consisted of second-grade students of Almutamaar school boys in Omdurman, the study sample was selected randomly totaling 54 students were divided randomly into two groups: 27 for experimental group and 27 for control group. The study used achievement pre & post tests, and Learning Motivation scale as tools for data collection. The result showed that  there  were statistically significant differences at the level (0.05) between the mean scores of students of the experimental group (a group is taught by VLabs) and control group (a group is taught by conventional method) in the post test in favor of the experimental group, and there were statistically significant differences at the level (0.05) between the mean scores of pre and post test for the students of the experimental group in favor of the post test, and there were statistically significant differences at the level (0.05) in the Learning Motivation scale between the experimental group( taught by VLabs) and control group (taught by conventional method)  for the favor of the experimental group too.
