According to the current data of corona database in Central Java, today on 17th of August 2021, the number of confirmed cases is; Confirmed in Treatment (Active Cases): 16.344, Confirmed Recovered: 408.697, and Confirmed Dead: 29.148. Therefore, the total number of cases is 454.189, obtained from the sum of the number of being treated, recovered, and dead. Corona Virus is a collection of viruses that can infect the respiratory system, generally mild, such as common cold, although, some forms of diseases like; SARS, MERS, and COVID-19 are more deadly. In anticipating this case, the government has created some policies which include; limiting activities outside the house, having school activities done from home, working from home, and even having religious activities done from home too. The purpose of this study was to predict the possible rate of new cases in one of Central Java areas with confirmed cases of corona virus. Thus, it can be used as information material for the public to anticipate early. The research method applied in this research is problem analysis and literature study, data collection and implementation. The application of the K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN) method is expected to be able to predict the level of spread of COVID-19 in Central Java. The results of the research on testing the prediction system for the new cases level were tested in the Sragen area. Testing is carried out by taking samples for new cases, namely Kudu Regency/City, Confirmed: 17,599, Treated: 89, Recovered: 18,303, Died: 1,721, Suspected: 87 and Discarded Suspected: 1,711. After doing the prediction with K-NN algorithm, it showed the Condition: High.

This article is based on a research aiming to contextualize the fundamental principles of art and design to current setting in which analog media are no longer chosen as the ultimate hardware/tools. It is important considering digital hardware becomes more and more prevalent even preferred by students, whereas analog tools are getting harder to obtain, expensive and less ecological friendly. The goal of this research is to produce method analysis and the creation of two-dimensional basic design through digital media (Camera) followed by conventional drawing tools, documented and conducted by the lecturers and the students. So far, almost 100% of the studies concerning basic design could only be found in foreign publications, with visual work examples that cannot be used freely in Indonesian local education due to copyright issue. Therefore, a literature study is conducted to examine the formal objects of this research which are the elements and fundamental principles in design, followed by ideation and visualization processes carried by the students in basic design classes through the semester. The visualization itself will integrate analog and digital media to generate the material objects of the research, which is a series of two dimensional design compositions. These compositions are then analyzed and classified to taxonomic category of fundamental principles of two-dimensional design as an integral part of teaching-learning process (self-evaluation class for future improvement).

Thus, the project “Talking Circles about the Indigenous People’s Health” in the university emerged in 2016, developed in a partnership between medical school professors and indigenous students from the Indigenous Tutorial Education Program - PET Indígena - Health Actions, UFSCar. Method: This report is based on the qualitative documental analyses, aiming to present and discuss the experiences, perspectives and dialogues carried out during those meetings, the construction of diversity, the description of the activities performed and the exposure of their potentialities and limits. Results: Based on both Paulo Freire’s Culture Circles and active teaching-learning methodology tools, those meetings dealt with topics related to Indigenous People’s Health, the results of which were here grouped into three categories: Identity; Care; and Indigenous Rights. The Talking Circles format fostered the construction of new knowledge in indigenous health’s field related to different cultures, specific health policies, concepts of health-disease process, providing an initial approach on the indigenous health context in Brazil. Additionally, they provided a space with indigenous leadership that dared to indicate innovative perspectives on identity issues and health understandings, disease and healing processes, as well as raising the epistemology inherent to these populations. Conclusions: Based on the dialogue between different actors, it was possible to arouse interest of the health professionals regarding ethnic and cultural issues and give visibility to the indigenous people at the University. Moreover, it can be a first step towards the construction of optional interdisciplinary disciplines and the insertion of the topic in undergraduate school curricula in the health area.

Customization of services or products fundamentally involves choices being made by the cus-tomer. This paper explores the conception of learner autonomy in language learning and its relationship to the capacity of students to make choices about their own education as a pre-requisite for implementing mass customization in learning support. A study of the impedi-ments to learner autonomy in a Mexican context indicates some of the conceptual and cultural issues that should be addressed in implementing mass customization in language learning.
