This study aims to determine 1) Effect of discovery learning model with a scientific approach (PDPS) on learning outcomes physics learners; 2) The effect of process skills to the learning outcomes of physics students and 3) Effect of discovery learning model with a scientific approach interaction and process skills to the learning outcomes of students. This study is a quasi-experimental design using pretest-posttes nonequivalent group design with a 2 x 2 factorial design. Data were analyzed using analysis of variance with SPSS 21. The result showed 1) Model PDPS affect the Physics learning outcomes of learners with sig (0,000 ) <α (0.05), 2) process  skills  affects the outcome of the  learning physics learners with sig (0.001) <α (0.05) and 3) There is a learning model interaction effect (PDPs-Expository) and process skills to physics learning outcomes with sig (0,000) <α (0.05)Keywords: Discovery learning model with a scientific approach,  process skills, learning outcomes

ABSTRACT[Implementation of Discovery Learning Model on Electromagnetic Wave Application Material of Various Palm Oil Impurity Analysis With Spectrophotometry UV-Vis].The aims of this study was to describe the differences between the learning outcomes of students who learn to use the learning model of Discovery Learning with students studying physics learning conventionally onwaves electromagnetic material.  The method used quasi experimental research with Pretest-Posttest Control GroupDesign research conducted at SMA Negeri 8 Lubuklinggau. Sample research used 2 classes i.e. class X.3 as a experimental class and class X.2 as a control class. Based on the results of data analysis it can be concluded that there was a difference between learning outcomes of students who learn to use the learning model of Discovery Learningwith students studying in conventional method. The data views from the average final value obtained after being given the treatment. The purpose of this study was to improve science process skills and biology learning outcomes of students in grades VIII - 6 SMP Negeri 1 Kota Tebing Tinggi. The type of research used is Classroom Action Research (PTK). This research was conducted in two cycles. To obtain research data, data collection was carried out using qualitative descriptive analysis techniques to determine science process skills and student learning outcomes. The results showed that with the application of the Discovery Learning learning model to improve science process skills and student learning outcomes with the total score obtained in the first cycle of students' science process skills with a percentage of 66%, cycle II increased to 86.66% while learning outcomes which is obtained by students as seen from the average value and value of classical completeness of student learning as follows: by percentage, the average value in the first cycle is 54.40%, the second cycle is 72.40%. While the percentage of classical completeness in the first cycle was 52%, the second cycle was 80%. Thus, the use of the Discovery Learning Learning Model can be recommended to be applied as an alternative learning model in schools. Keywords: Discovery Learning, Skills, Learning Outcomes

The 2013 Curriculum emphasizes on active learning pattern. However, based on the questionnaire spread in junior high school 18 Padang, it was gotten the result that teachers still have difficulty in implementing it, especially in affective competence of confidence. The affective competence of confidence will encourage students to be active in learning process, both in asking questions and expressing opinion. In cooperative learning, students are provided a vehicle to increase their confidence through presenting their discussion result in front of the class. By considering this issue, there is an alternative solution that can be used by teacher, which is example non example method. This method is one of cooperative learning method. Besides that, it can support the implementation of scientific approach and discovery learning model in learning process. The scientific approach and discovery learning model are the approach and model recommended in the 2013 Curriculum. Purpose of the research was to know effect of example non example method in scientific approach and discovery learning model on students' affective competence. It was a quasi-experimental research. It was done in junior high school 18 Padang to grade VII students. The instrument used was written test in form of multiple-choice and essay. Technique of data analysis used Mann Whitney U test. It was done by using SPSS software. The finding shows that example non example method in scientific approach and discovery learning model has significant effect on students' affective competence, with sig. value (0.036) &lt; 0.05.

ABSTRACT [Relationship between Groundwater Surface Depth with Salinity at the Coast of New Kungkai Beach and its Implementation on Discovery Learning Model]. The aims of this study were 1) to describe the relationship between groundwater surface depth with salinity in the coastal areas of new kungkai beach of Seluma, and 2) to determine the improvement of learning outcomes (cognitive) of high ability students, moderate and low by using discovery learning model on the concept of static fluid in class X computer and network engineering at SMK Negeri 3 Seluma. This research was a quasi experimental research with one groups pretest-posttest design. The results showed: 1) The relationship between depth with salinity has a value of 0.6478 with a significance level of 0.001 (<0.05); 2) Learning with discovery learning model can improve student learning outcomes on cognitive aspects (knowledge). Increased cognitive results can be seen from the average value of the initial test, the final test and the average value of gain in the class x Tkj is high-ability groups are at high criteria with a value of 0.75 gain in the group is in the criteria medium with the value of gain 0,52 and in the low group were in moderate criteria with a gain value of 0.44. There is a difference in learning outcomes between the high, medium and low groups. The difference is shown by Fcount > Ftable (4.04 > 3.35) with a significance level of 5%. Keywords: Groundwater surface depth; salinity; discovery learning model; SMKN 3 Seluma.

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran discovery learning terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas X pada materi pokok Listrik Dinamis. Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi experiment. Populasi dalam penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas X yang terdiri dari 8 kelas. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan cara cluster random sampling dengan mengambil 2 kelas secara acak yaitu kelas X-5 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas X-6 sebagai kelas kontrol. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes hasil belajar yang telah divalidasi dalam bentuk pilihan berganda sebanyak 20 soal. Hasil penelitian diperoleh nilai rata-rata pretes kelas eksperimen 33,06 dan kelas kontrol 32,78. Kemudian diberikan perlakuan yang berbeda, kelas eksperimen dengan model pembelajaran discovery learning dan kelas kontrol dengan model pembelajaran konvensional. Setelah pembelajaran selesai diberikan, diperoleh postes dengan nilai rata-rata kelas eksperimen 75,69 dan kelas kontrol 69,86. Hasil uji t dengan taraf signifikasi 0,05 bahwa secara signifikan ada perbedaan akibat pengaruh model pembelajaran discovery learning terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi pokok Listrik Dinamis di kelas X. Kata kunci : model pembelajaran discovery learning dan hasil belajar siswa.   ABSTRACT This research aimed to know the effect of discovery learning model on students learning outcomes in the subject matter dynamical electricity in class X. The type of research was quasi-experimental. The population were the tenth grade students consisting of 8 classes. The samples collection done by means of cluster of random sampling by taking 2 class at random that is class X-5 as experiment class and class X-6 as control class. The instruments used were test of learning outcomes that have been validated in the form of option as much as 20 questions. The research result obtained average value of experiment pretest class 33,06 and the control class 32,78. Then given different treatment, experiment class with discovery learning and control class with conventional of models. After learning is completed, obtained postest the average value of experiment class 75,69 and control class 69,86. The results of t one party with the level significance in 0,05 obtained there is difference of students’ learning outcomes due to the effect of discovery learning in the subject matter listrik dinamis in class X. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan (1) untuk mengetahui hasil belajar keterampilan membaca bahasa Arab siswa yang diajar dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran mind mapping lebih tinggi daripada siswa yang diajar dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran langsung, (2) untuk mengetahui hasil belajar keterampilan membaca bahasa Arab siswa yang memiliki motivasi intrinsik tinggi lebih tinggi daripada siswa yang memiliki motivasi intrinsik rendah, (3) untuk mengetahui interaksi antara model pembelajaran dengan motivasi intrinsik terhadap hasil belajar keterampilan membaca bahasa Arab. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian quasi eksperimen dengan desain penelitian faktorial 2 x 2. Teknik analisis data menggunakan ANAVA dua jalur pada taraf signifikan  = 0,05. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa; (1) hasil belajar keterampilan membaca bahasa Arab siswa yang diajar dengan model pembelajaran mind mapping lebih tinggi dari hasil belajar siswa yang diajar dengan model pembelajaran langsung dengan  = 6,08 >  = 3,97, (2) hasil belajar keterampilan membaca bahasa Arab siswa yang memiliki motivasi intrinsik tinggi lebih tinggi dari siswa yang memiliki motivasi intrinsik rendah dengan  = 60,34 >  = 3,97, (3) terdapat interaksi antara model pembelajaran dan motivasi intrinsik terhadap hasil belajar keterampilan membaca bahasa Arab, dengan  = 28,92 >  = 3,97.  Kata Kunci: model pembelajaran, motivasi intrinsic, keterampilan membaca bahasa arab Abstract: This study aims (1) to determine the learning outcomes of Arabic reading skills students who are taught using mind mapping learning models are higher than students who are taught using direct learning models, (2) to find out the learning outcomes of Arabic reading skills students who have higher intrinsic motivation than students who have low intrinsic motivation, (3) to find out the interaction between learning models and intrinsic motivation on the learning outcomes of Arabic reading skills. This research is a quasi-experimental research with 2 x 2 factorial research design. Data analysis techniques using two-way ANAVA at a significant level = 0.05. Research findings indicate that; (1) the learning outcomes of Arabic reading skills students taught with mind mapping learning models are higher than the learning outcomes of students taught with direct learning models with F count = 6.08 > F table = 3.97, (2) learning outcomes of students' Arabic reading skills those who have high intrinsic motivation are higher than students who have low intrinsic motivation with F count = 60.34 > F table = 3.97, (3) there is an interaction between the learning model and intrinsic motivation towards the learning outcomes of Arabic reading skills, with F count = 28.92> F table = 3.97. Keywords: learning model, intrinsic motivation, Arabic reading skills

This study aims to describe the application of the Discovery Learning learning model assisted by Powerpoint media to students of class X IPA 3 of SMA Negeri 2 Merauke in improving the results of physics learning. This type of research is PTK using a descriptive approach consisting of 2 cycles. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that discovery learning learning models make students able to become more active and motivated to find their own solutions to the problems faced. The use of powerpoint media that displays moving images also makes learning more interesting. This is evidenced by an increase in scores at the end of each cycle. To increase the enthusiasm of students, then at the end of the cycle an award is given in the form of congratulations to students or groups that excel.  Keywords: Media Powerpoint, Discovery Learning, Learning Outcomes

This research aims to determine whether the Quantum Learning model based on the Scientific approach can provide better learning outcomes rather than direct learning model. This research is a quasi experimental research with matching static group comparison design. The research instrument used to obtain data is in the form of documentation and test. The calculation of the hypothesis test the value of tcount > ttable where tcount = 1.83 and ttable = 1.68 at the significant level of 5% with dk=50. The conclusions from the analysis of the hypothesis test is that the Quantum Learning model based on Scientific approach provides better learning outcomes than students who were taught using direct learning models.

The purpose of this study is to determine differences in learning outcomes of 4th grade students in Mathematics in SD Gugus Patimura using Problem-based Learning and Discovery Learning model. This is a quasi experimental research. The instrument of data collection was test items, previously tested of its validity and reliability. The result of hypothesis test using ANCOVA test showed the result of significance / probability 0,00 <0,05, meaning H0 was refused and Ha was accepted. It means that Problem-based Learning has significantly higher impact than Discovery Learning model. The conclusion is supported by the average value of the learning outcomes using Problem-based Learning model which was 80.24, while the one using Discovery Learnings model only reached 71,87. Based on the conclusions of this study, it is recommended that the elementary school teachers use the model of learning Problem Based Learning.
