The education sector is one of the many sectors that most feel the impact of changes due to the covid-19 pandemic. Starting from early childhood education level to higher education level has now started to try to adapt to the covid-19 pandemic situation. The purpose of this research is to get information on student readiness, especially PGSD study program in facing online learning during the covid-19 pandemic. Student readiness is reviewed from 3 aspects, namely, readiness in terms of facilities and infrastructure owned, readiness in terms of the ability to use media / online learning platforms, and readiness in facing obstacles that will arise when online learning is implemented. The subjects of this study were students of PGSD FKIP Mataram University semesters 1, 3, and 5. This research is a qualitative descriptive research. Data collection is done by disseminating questionnaires and interviews to students in each semester. The data obtained is then analyzed using miles and huberman analysis model (Analysis Interactive Model). The results of the research showed that most PGSD students are ready to carry out online learning during the covid-19 pandemic, reviewed in terms of readiness in terms of facilities and infrastructure owned, readiness in terms of the ability to use online media / learning platforms, and readiness in facing obstacles that will arise when online learning is implemented.

The spread of the Covid-19 virus globally continues to grow. The impact felt by Indonesia in addition to the many positive cases, economic, social and educational system problems. The learning process that has been carried out face-to-face has become undisturbed, so that the learning process changes its function to online learning. The purpose of this research is to obtain information on how to describe the implementation process of learning for students of the Pamulang University Mathematics Study Program during the Covid-19 pandemic as an effort for Higher Education to stop and break the chain of spreading covid-19. The research subjects were students of the Mathematics Study Program. Data processing was carried out by interviewing through cloud meetings and questionnaire response sheets using the google format. Interviews and questionnaire sheets were conducted with questions that were compiled and developed with related literature. Miles & Huberman's interactive analysis techniques were used in this study. This study obtained the results, namely, (1) students already have basic learning facilities such as leptops, computers, android-based mobile phones and internet networks; (2) The learning process has not been maximally carried out yet; (3) Lack of supervision from both lecturers and parents during the lecture or learning process; (4) The online learning process has the advantage of flexibility in time, encourages and trains students to study independently.

The aim of this research is to know the impact of applying google classroom toward teachers and students SMK Negeri 1 Marancar online learning in pandemic period. The approach of the research used qualitative descriptive and triangulation was applied on data analysis technique which included interview, documentation, and questionnaire. Data sources were 2 teachers and 10 students. The result of the research shows the impact of online learning is positive impact which includes increase students and teachers ability of using ICT, shorter study time, learning can be done anywhere, and availability of adequate file storage space, and minimize of using paper. Furthermore, negative impact includes difficult to apply the right learning methods and media, learning materials are only in the form of documents, network interference, additional costs for buying internet quota, unfavorable class atmosphere,  students become lazy to study, low student manners, teachers and students have to have adequate smartphone.

The Covid-19 pandemic has caused the teaching and learning process to be conducted online as a substitute for classroom learning. This study aims to determine the effect of online learning on student interest in the Chemistry Education program at UIN Ar-Raniry Banda Aceh, Indonesia. This research is qualitative research with a qualitative descriptive method with a sample of 40 students. The data was collected through distributing questionnaires within three days to obtain information about the impact of distance learning during the covid-19 pandemic on student interest in the chemistry education program. The results of data analysis showed that 44.33% of students had a good interest in online learning. It means that students' interest in learning is not good for online learning.

Corona virus or covid 19 is a dangerous virus that attacks the human respiratory system. Corona virus able to change the order of almost all of life’s joints in the world of education. In order to break the chain of the covid 19, goverments introduce a pattern of long range learning by means online learning. Application of this learning model certainly brings its own impact to students. The puspose of this study is to know the impact students are experiencing class 5 country primary school Pandawei during the online learning system. The method used was qualitative research methods with data collection techniques thrugh interviews and observations. The analysis technique used is qualitative descriptive. The main find of this research is increased students study habits using this online learning methods because the students are becoming accustomed  with technology so they’re easier discovering additional information about the lesson materials received search school.

Online learning that is integrated into face-to-face learning called blended learning is believed to be more useful than online learning or face-to-face learning. Schoology is one of the online learning platforms exploited in blended learning that can help teachers to manage classroom information. Schoology allows students and teachers to share information and provides access to content or administrative features of specific courses. This study aims to investigate students' perceptions of blended learning via Schoology in reading class. This is a descriptive study, the participants of this study consisted of 28- second-semester students at the English Language Study Program, Faculty of Tarbiyah, and teacher training IAIN Jember, East Java Indonesia. The Data were collected through questionnaires and interviews. The findings of this study revealed that there were positive perceptions of blended learning via Schoology in the reading comprehension class as well as the positive learners’ attitude. Furthermore, the students agreed that Schoology in blended learning in the reading comprehension class is useful, helpful, and effective. Moreover, from the results of the interviews, there were positive aspects of blended learning via Schoology in reading comprehension which gave more benefits to engage and motivate students’ learning activities, students’ performances, learners’ autonomy, as well as students’ learning outcomes.

This study investigates the impact of education level, teaching experience and gender on professionalism and performance of academic teaching staffs at the University of Muhammadiyah Palembang. In 2017, there are 431 academic teaching staffs across seven faculties and one graduate study program as the population study and the sample size is 355 respondents. This study uses survey research method to collect the data using closed-ended questionnairre. Professionalism is measured using the sertification status and the performance is measured using the number of publication during the last three years. Education level is measured using the degree qualification such as master degree, doctoral degree and professorship. Teaching experience is measured using the length of teaching experience and the gender is measured as sex status such as male and female academic teaching staffs. The data is analysed using ordinary least square (OLS). The result shows that there is a significant impact of education level, teaching experience and gender on professionalism and performance of academic teaching staffs.

The impact of the coronavirus disease -19 pandemic has forced all activities in educational institutions to maintain distance, and all material delivery must be delivered at home. One of the most commonly chosen learning process options during the Covid-19 pandemic is online learning which is considered adequate and efficient. However, in practice, many obstacles arise in many ways ranging from stuttering to disparities in internet network access and technology ownership. Therefore, this study tries to see and identify the ideal model in online learning pedagogic communication during covid-19. The method used is a qualitative descriptive that seeks to reveal practices and facts in online learning pedagogical communication processes. The results show that SMPN 4 Depok Sleman implements pedagogical communication in innovative didactic anticipation aspects by adding learning materials derived from various digital sources in the form of e-modules. And handouts, while the didactic pedagogical aspects are met by providing materials on online learning applications through a personal approach to students' abilities. Meanwhile, in the element of pedagogic relationships, synchronous online learning is carried out in the form of brainstorming and assignments as well as project-based learning so that active participation of students can be carried out and stimulate student competencies that touch the 4C aspects (Creativity, Collaboration, Critical Thinking, and Communication) as the direction of 21st-century learning.

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of online learning in physics subjects. This study uses qualitative descriptive methods and data obtained by providing evaluation and observation tests. The subject of this study was grade X as many as 18 students. To find out the effectiveness of online physics learning, an evaluation was carried out with an essay test of 5 questions and an observation sheet of 5 types of assessment. Then the results were analyzed by descriptive qualitative. Based on the results of the analysis, 27.8% got the moderate category, 61.1% got low scores and 11.1% got the very low category. Then for the student activity assessment sheet, there is 14.5% student attendance, 13% of students pay attention to the teacher's explanation, 2.8% of students and do other activities actively during the learning process, and 15% collect assignments. Online learning is ineffective in pandemics. The cause of the low percentage is due to the many obstacles faced by students in participating in online learning, one of which is the lack of supporting facilities for online learning. Covid-19 pandemic becomes global issue that gives global impact in all sectors especially in educational one. The Minister of Education and Culture of Indonesia make a policy in which all education sectors are shifted from face-to-face learning into online learning. This policy is well-responded by one of private universities in Lampung. The researcher conducted a research to response this policy. The objective of this study is identify the impact of online learning toward students’ academic performance on Business Correspondence course. Participants of this study are 40 students (14 male and 26 female) who enrolled Business Correspondence course at English Education study program of Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia. The design of this research is descriptive qualitative. Data were collected through questionnaire that consists of 22 statements and open-ended interview. The result showed that online learning has positive impact on students’ academic performance in term of learning motivation, learning achievement and learning engagement. Participants also showed that conducting online learning is relevant during pandemic. Furthermore, flexibility, accessibility, learning autonomy, and boosting students’ achievement become the strengths of conducting online learning. However, financial issue and bad internet access become problems that hamper online learning.

This paper discusses the role of a non-governmental organization and activist focusing on improving villages, the Spedagi community, in conducting empowerment in Ngadiprono Hamlet, Temanggung. The study aiming to also determine the impact of that empowerment was done through field research methods with a qualitative descriptive approach, while the data were collected through four techniques: interviews, observation, documentation and online data search. The analysis was carried out with the Miles and Huberman qualitative analysis model which included four stages: data collection, data reduction, data presentation and finally conclusion drawing and verification. The results of this study indicate that Spedagi has played a role as a community companion in Ngadiprono mainly in the economic empowering through the Papringan Market as an existing local potential, ncluding: facilitative, educational, representative, and technical roles and skills. In addition, the socio-economic and even cultural life in Ngadiprono is also benefiting from the program. Keywords:  Community economic empowerment, local potential, traditional market   Abstrak Makalah ini membahas peran organisasi non-pemerintah dan aktivis yang berfokus pada pemberdayaan desa, yaitu komunitas Spedagi, dalam melakukan pemberdayaan di Dusun Ngadiprono, Temanggung. Bertujuan juga untuk menentukan dampak pemberdayaan yang dilakukan, penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian lapangan dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif, di mana data dikumpulkan melalui empat teknik: wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi, dan pencarian data secara daring. Analisis dilakukan dengan model analisis kualitatif Miles dan Huberman yang meliputi empat tahap: pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan akhirnya penarikan kesimpulan dan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Spedagi telah berperan sebagai pendamping masyarakat di Ngadiprono terutama dalam pemberdayaan ekonomi melalui Pasar Papringan sebagai potensi lokal yang ada, termasuk peran dan keterampilan fasilitatif, edukatif, representatif, dan teknis. Selain itu, kehidupan sosial ekonomi dan bahkan budaya di Ngadiprono juga mendapat manfaat dari program ini. Kata kunci: Pasar tradisional, pemberdayaan ekonomi masyarakat, potensi lokal
