Is there a difference in the language ofchildren according to their social level?Review and discussion of the topicAbstractThe following bibliographic review allowed the authors to reflect about the possible reasons that exert a negative influence on the appropriate linguistic competence of children coming from deprived economic and socio-cultural sectors in Chile. Although Bloom gives more credit to social cognition (mind reading) than do most other theorists of word learning, he does not go far enough. He still relies fundamentally on a learning process of association (or mapping), neglecting the joint attentional and cultural learning skills from which linguistic communication emerges at one year of age.

Aim. The investigation of the influence of the constituents of Izatison, DMSO and PEG400, on the oat growth and its grain productivity during 2 generations after the seed treatment became the aim of this study for the elucidation of mechanism of Izatison stimulant influence. Methods. The broad scale of the concentrations of the solvents composition in the proportion, to be as in Izatison, was used. The plants were grown in the field. The growth processes were evaluated by the stem height on the tubing stage. The grain productivity was characterized by the panicle length, the grains number in the panicle and of theirs weight. Results. The dependence of influence of the solvents composition on the stem growth from its concentration was detected in the first generation. In some variants the negative influence was revealed on the grains number in the panicle and on theirs weight. The stimulation of the growth regardless from the solvents concentration was observed in the second generation and the more pronounced negative effect on the grain productivity. Conclusions. The solvents DMSO and PEG400 are able to influence on the oat growth and its productivity, and that effect was manifested also in 2 generation after the seed treatment. CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning) includes the development of intercultural awareness as one of its main axes. Therefore, the main objective of this research is to examine the perceptions that CLIL teachers have regarding Intercultural Competence (IC) and the elements that contribute to its development. Through an open-question survey, we analysed the opinions of 59 Primary Education CLIL teachers from Cordoba. For the analysis of the qualitative data, Atlas.ti has been used on its two options: the textual and the conceptual analysis, thus generating the corresponding networks. On the other hand, SPSS v. 21 was used for the quantitative data analysis. The results show that CLIL teachers define IC closely linked to linguistic competence, and that communicative activities play an important role.

In this new millennium it is a challenge for educators to promote digital experiences that lead to effectiveness and holistic contribution in the learning process. This new development is also in line with the Taylor's University strategy plan 2012-2016, which promises a conducive and responsive learning environment that embraces technology. Hence, the main focus of this chapter is to evaluate the student perspective toward digital experience applied with the adoption of TIMES together with a vast range of tools and how the digital experience was preparing our students for success in the world beyond for the audio-visual production module. Focus groups were conducted to examine the feedback on digital experience for the duration of teaching the module. The results from the study imply that the digital experience has a positive and mediating effect on the learning experience for the students. The knowledge-rich ecology of ongoing participation, self-expression, and recognition in their learning skills also contributes to the ever on-going process of learning.

The system architecture and its main characteristics are described in detail. EduTutor focuses on subjects for the first cycle of studies of the Portuguese primary education system, between the first and the fourth year. Its purpose is to facilitate the perception of the learning process of each student, individually, in a virtual environment, and as a study guide. Furthermore, this intelligent tutor system was designed and its architecture was prepared for being easily integrated in higher levels of studies, different subjects, and different languages. EduTutor was validated with a large set of real cases and is being used, with success, in the Aulanet LMS platform.
