The article is devoted to the analysis of the draft law "On Protection of Competition", which must substitute the laws "On Competition and Limitation of Monopolistic Activity on Commodity Markets" and "On Protection of Competition on the Financial Services Market". The innovations enhancing the quality of Russian competition law and new norms providing at least ambiguous effects on antimonopoly regulation are considered. The first group of positive measures includes unification of competition norms for commodity and financial markets, changes of criteria and the scale of control of economic concentrations, specification of conditions, where norms are applied "per se" and according to the "rule of reason", introduction of rules that can prevent the restriction of competition by the executive power. The interpretation of the "collective dominance" concept and certain rules devoted to antimonopoly control of state aid are in the second group of questionable steps.

This study aims to analyze the impact of macroeconomic shocks, such as economic growth, inflation and the rupiah exchange rate on Islamic banking efficiency. This study uses the two-stage least squares (TSLS) method, which is a method with two endogenous variables, namely the non-performing financing (NPF) ratio as a representation of the quality of Islamic banking financing and the operating expense operating income (BOPO) ratio as a representation of Islamic banking efficiency. So that the TSLS method aims to purify these endogenous variables against stochastic disturbances. This study uses monthly data from January 2010 to January 2020, or as many as 121 observations. The observation of data is obtained from Islamic Banking Statistic that published by Financial Services Authority (OJK). The efficiency of Islamic banks is influenced by the number of sharia banking office networks, capital adequacy ratios, and NPF ratios. The NPF ratio itself is affected by macroeconomic conditions (economic growth and appreciation of the rupiah exchange rate) as well as the efficiency of Islamic banking. Based on the above findings, a number of recommendations were given, including the urgency of simultaneously increasing efficiency and quality of Islamic banking financing accompanied by monitoring Indonesia's macroeconomic conditions, so that it is hoped that Islamic banks will be more resilient to macroeconomic shocks and competitive in the national financial services industry.

Financing in Islamic banking can be regarded as an investment because Islamic banking is a fund manager (mudharib) from the owner of the funds (shahibul maal), namely the customer. This research aims to show that investment diversification can minimize risk and increase profitability in Islamic banking. This study uses a quantitative method with a multiple linear regression model with 14 independent and 2 dependent variables. The data used is secondary data obtained from the Islamic banking statistics of the Financial Services Authority. The result of this research is that diversification of financing based on the economic sector has no effect on profitability but affects risk in reducing default. This research has implications for reducing the risk of default in Islamic banking, marked by the performance and quality of Islamic banking financing getting better.
