This action research aims: (1) to improve the science learning outcomes of VIIA class students in the even semester of SMP Negeri 1 Manggis in the academic year 2017/2018 by applying the learning investigation (GI) learning model assisted by learning videos. This type of research is classroom action research. The subjects of this study were 30 students in class VIIA, and the object of this study was the science learning outcomes. This action research is planned to be carried out in two cycles. Learning outcomes data were collected using multiple choice tests. Data were analyzed by descriptive analysis. The results showed that: (1) The natural science learning outcomes of the VIIA class in the second semester increased in the first cycle by an average of 70, 70% absorption, with a 50% grade completeness, and an average cycle II of 77, 77 absorption %, with 86.6% class completeness. With the achievement of an average of 77 Natural Science learning outcomes, it means that it is above the established success level of 70, so that the action is considered successful. Thus it can be said that the application of the learning investigation (GI) group learning model assisted by learning videos can improve the learning outcomes of natural science students in class VIIA an even number at SMPN 1 Manggis in the academic year 2017/2018.

The research was conducted with the aim: (1) identify the effect of creativity learning model toward natural science subject’s learning outcomes and self-efficacy, (2) identify the effect of creativity learning model toward natural science subject’s learning outcomes, and (3) identify the effect of creativity learning model toward self-efficacy. This research was quasi-experimental research designed of Non-Equivalent Posttest Only Control Group. All fifth-grade classes of cluster I Buleleng district were the research population in total of 209 fifth-grade students from 8 schools. The research sample was determined through simple random sampling technique, obtained 2 schools in total of 59 students that was contained 29 students of SDN 1 Banyuning as the experiment class and 30 students of SDN 8 Banyuning as the control class. Essay test was used the research instrument to gather learning outcomes data, while questionnaire was used to measure self-efficacy. The data analysis was done descriptively to identify mean and standard deviation further tested through MANOVA test. The research findings portrayed: (1) simultaneously, creativity learning model effects in enhancing natural science subject’s learning outcomes and self-efficacy; (2) creativity learning model is able to improve natural science subject’s learning outcomes; and (3) creativity learning model is able to improve self-efficacy. Conclusively, creativity learning model presents has an influence on the aspects studies.

<p><em>The purpose of this study are (1) describing the application of Discovery Learning model with concrete materials, (2) improving natural science learning outcomes, (3) describing problems and solution. It is a collaborative classroom action research conducted in three cycles. The subjects are teacher and students. Research data are qualitative and quantitative. Data collection techniques are nontest and tests. Data analysis includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The results show that: (1) </em><em>the steps to the application of discovery learning model with concrete materials</em><em> </em><em>are</em><em> </em><em>providing stimulation, identif</em><em>ication</em><em> problems, collecting data, processing data, pro</em><em>of</em><em>, </em><em>and </em><em>drawing conclusions; (2) the application of discovery learning model with concrete materials can improve natural sciences learning outcomes. It is proven by the average percentage of teacher</em><em>=</em><em> 89.39%, students' observations</em><em>= </em><em>86.75%, and research evaluation</em><em>= </em><em>91.18%; (3) the problems found in this study are students fail in constructing hypotheses, teacher does not prove hypotheses</em><em>, </em><em>s</em><em>ome student are passive in learning process</em><em>, teacher only chooses active students, students ask the teacher in less polite</em><em>. </em><em>The solutions are the teacher assists the students to construct hypotheses according, the teacher proves the hypotheses, the teacher gives motivation, the teacher chooses active and passive students, the teacher asks the students to speak well</em><em>.<strong></strong></em></p>

<p>Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas V SD Negeri Wero pada mata pelajaran IPA tentang kekuatan. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang dilakukan dalam tiga siklus dengan lima pertemuan. Sumber data yang digunakan adalah siswa dan guru. Data yang digunakan adalah dalam bentuk data kualitatif, yaitu penerapan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing dan data kuantitatif, yaitu hasil tes pembelajaran subjek sains tentang kekuatan. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini meliputi teknik tes dan non-tes. Validitas data yang digunakan adalah teknik triangulasi dan sumber data. Analisis data dilakukan melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar sains tentang kekuatan di kelas lima SD Negeri Wero. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa siswa terlibat langsung dalam kegiatan penyelidikan selama pembelajaran sehingga siswa mendapatkan pengalaman belajar yang bermakna dan siswa menjadi lebih mudah mengingat materi yang telah dipelajari, melalui proses perumusan masalah, secara aktif, dan inisiatif untuk menemukan konsep melalui inkuiri dengan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing sehingga siswa menjadi terbiasa belajar secara kritis tentang fenomena di sekitarnya, dalam pembelajaran dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing siswa terlibat langsung dalam proses pembelajaran sehingga mereka dapat melatih siswa untuk terampil dalam mendapatkan dan menganalisis informasi dari berbagai sumber belajar, meningkatkan antusiasme siswa selama pembelajaran melalui kegiatan investigasi, meningkatkan sikap kerjasama melalui proses diskusi kelompok, dan melatih kepercayaan diri siswa melalui presentasi.</p><p> </p>

The research aims to determining students learning outcome of natural science at class five. In which students are being educated by discovery learning model natural rocks environmental around of students that is learned with conventional leaning program for student class five at elementary school Gugus 5 Blahbatuh. This reseacarching is constitute in experiment researching of Nonequivalent Control Grup Desain. The population 131 students in five grade of elementary school in Gugus 5 Blahbatuh. This sampel was chosen  by using randomsampling technique. there two class asresearching sample in which is SD Negeri 4 Pering as experiment group with 32 students and SD Negeri 2 Pering as group control with 30 students, the data collector by using objective test with multiple choice and then analysis, the average of students learning outcomes at natural science for experiment class is 80,00 and at class control  70,30, the after do to hypothesis examination it gated arithmetic 3,666 in significant 5 % with dk =32+30-2 = 60 prices ttable 2,000 so it can be said arithmetic = 3.666> ttable = 2,000 (a= 0,05, 60 )= 2,000. Then H0 rejected and Ha accepted, this mean the stream of researching that show the indication there are differences in learning outcome at natural science class between experiment class and control class, Therefore we can conclude that used discovery learning model natural aound rock environment media auoud of student learning outcomes for student area effecting of student learning outcomes for students of natural scien at class five in Gugus 5 Blahbatuh in academic years 2016/2017

IMPROVEMENT OF STUDENT LEARNING OUTCOMES IN NATURAL SCIENCE LESSONS LEARNING ABOUT THE FORCE AND FUNCTION BY USING THE LEARNING MODEL COOPERATIVE TYPE MAKE A MATCHThis study aims (1) To find out the Make a Match type of cooperative learning model can improve student learning outcomes in Natural Sciences about the force and function in class V SD Negeri Bantarjati 7, Bogor Utara, Bogor, semester 2 (2) describe the process of improving student learning outcomes in Natural Science subjects about their force and function before and after using the Make a Match type cooperative learning model in class V SD Negeri Bantarjati 7  (3) To measure the magnitude of the increase in student learning outcomes in Nature Science subjects about force and function after using the Make a Match cooperative learning model in class V of SD Negeri Bantarjati 7. The results of this study indicate that using the Make a Match cooperative learning model can be a fun variation of learning for students so that proven, men increase student learning outcomes in Class V Bantarjati State Elementary School 7. Before using the Make a Match type of cooperative learning model the learning outcomes of students only reached an average value of 62.25 then an increase occurred after using the Make a Match type cooperative learning model to 74, 12 in cycle 1 and 79.125 in cycle 2. From the description above the researchers concluded that the use of a Make a Match type of cooperative learning model adapted to learning material can create a pleasant learning situation so that an increase in student learning outcomes. Therefore the researchers suggest that the use of the Make a Match type of cooperative learning model be socialized and used as an alternative in science learning in schools within the Bogor City Education Office.

The research aimed to study the effects of learning model and achievement motivation on natural science learning outcomes. It was a 2 x 2 factorial experimental design. The research was conducted at two state Islamic elementary schools in Medan, Indonesia, namely: Medan Tembung State Islamic Elementary School and Medan Sunggal State Islamic Elementary School. Samples in the research were 60 students at the two schools. Data in the research was collected by using an achievement motivation scale and a learning outcome test. Then, the collected data was analyzed by using a two-way analysis of variance (ANOVA). The research found that (1) natural science learning outcomes of students who were taught by using a cooperative learning model were higher than those of students who were taught by using a direct instruction model; (2) natural science learning outcomes of students with high achievement motivation who were taught by using a cooperative learning model were higher than those of students with high achievement motivation who were taught by using a direct instruction model; (3) natural science learning outcomes of students with low achievement motivation who were taught by using a direct instruction model were higher than those of students with low achievement motivation who were taught by using a cooperative learning model and; (4) there was an interaction between learning model and achievement motivation and its effects on natural science learning outcomes.

This research is motivated by the low activity and learning outcomes of students in learning. Learning is still teacher centered. Student do activities outside of learning. We need a model to motivate student in learning. The model can be used is Snowball Throwing.The purpose of writing this article is to  look at the correlation of the application of the Snowball Throwing model to student outcomes. This research methode by reviewing journal uses 5 journal with ISSN. Dewi's research (2015) states that the Snowball Throwing model assisted by interactive multimedia has an effect on student learning outcomes. Handayani's research (2017) states that the Snowball Throwing model has an influence on student learning outcomes. Fitri's research (2017) states that the Snowball Throwing model with word square media has a positive influence on the activities and learning outcomes of students. Najla (2017) and Purba (2020) state that there are differences in learning outcomes between classes that use Snowball Throwing and those that don't. Thus it shows the Snowball Throwing model has a correlation with the learning outcomes of students.

This research focused on the low learning outcomes of Natural Science students in class V.. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of the Tri Hita Karana oriented PBL model on the learning outcomes of the fifth grade Natural Science students. The sample in this study amounted to 56 students. In this study, data were collected using a test technique using an objective test instrument with multiple choice forms which had previously been analyzed for the quality of eligibility by testing the validity, reliability, distinguishing features, and level of difficulty. The data that has been obtained is then analyzed using t-test. Based on the results of the t-test analysis, T-count = 5.42, while the value of T-table at a significant level of 5% with degrees of freedom 28 + 28 - 2 = 54 is 1.67. Based on T-count = 5.42 > T-table = 1.67 then H0 is rejected. The results of the analysis prove that there are significant differences between the groups of students who are taught with the Tri Hita Karana oriented Problem Based Learning model with groups of students who are taught with conventional learning models. From the results of the t-test analysis and the average learning outcomes it can be concluded that The Tri Hita Karana oriented Problem Based Learning model has a positive effect on the Natural Science learning outcomes of Class V students. Therefore, the Tri Hita Karana oriented Problem Based Learning model is suitabel for dealing with low Natural Science learning outcome

Penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian kuis di awal pembelajaran dalam model dicovery learning terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik kelas XI MIA SMA Negeri 1 Gowa pada materi pokok larutan penyangga. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah posttest only control group design. Variabel bebas dalam penelitian ini adalah pemberian kuis di awal pembelajaran pada model discovery learning dan model discovery learning tanpa pemberian kuis di awal pembelajaran, sedangkan variabel terikatnya adalah hasil belajar peserta didik. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas XI MIA SMA Negeri 1 Gowa yang terdiri dari delapan kelas. Sampel penelitian ini adalah kelas XI MIA2 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas XI MIA4 sebagai kelompok kontrol yang ditentukan dengan metode simple random sampling. Data hasil penelitian diperoleh melalui hasil posttest berupa soal objektif materi larutan penyangga. Data hasil posttest dianalisis dengan menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial. Hasil pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji-t dengan α = 0,05 menunjukkan thitung > ttabel (4,49 > 1,67) dapat disimpulkan bahwa H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima berarti ada pengaruh pemberian kuis di awal pembelajaran dalam model discovery learning terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik kelas XI MIA SMA Negeri 1 Gowa pada materi pokok larutan penyangga. Kata kunci: Kuis di Awal, discovery learning, dan hasil belajar ABSTRACT This reserch was a quasi-experiment aiming at examining the effect of giving quizzes at the beginning of dicovery learning model-based learning on the learning outcomes of the eleventh grade students of Mathematics and Natural Science Class at State Senior High School 1 Gowa on the subject of buffer solution. The research design employed was the post test only control group design. The independent variables in this study were the giving of quizzes at the beginning of learning in the discovery learning model and the discovery learning model without the quiz giving at the beginning of learning, while the dependent variable was the learning outcomes of students.The population in this study were all of the eleventh grade students of Mathematics and Natural Science Class at State Senior High School 1 Gowa encompassing eight classes. The samples taken in this study were class XI MIA2 as the experimental group and class XI MIA4 as the control group determined by the simple random sampling method. The research data were collected from the posttest results in the form of objective questions about buffer solution material. The post-test data were analyzed by employing descriptive and inferential statistics. The hypothesis testing results utilizing t-test with α = 0.05 revealed that tcount> ttable (4,49 > 1,67) which can be concluded that H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted meaning there was an influence of giving quizzes at the beginning of discovery learning model-based teaching on the learning outcomes of the eleventh grade students of Mathematics and Natural Science Class at State Senior High School 1 Gowa on the subject of buffer solution.
