ABSTRACTThis article is the result of the community partnership program (PKM) which aims to improve teacher competency in the development of active learning methods characterized by Islam rahmatan lil'alamin at SD Muhammadiyah Pujotomo and MI Muhammadiyah Danurejo of  Mertoyudan-Magelang. These two institutions have problems, one of which is related to competence in managing learning; the teachers tend to be conventional in applying learning methods and cannot yet relate learning to Islamic approaches. Even though the content in Islamic education institutions should show the characteristics of Islamic nuances of learning. The solution to overcome this problem is to equip teachers with the active learning method with the character of Islam rahmatan lil ‘alamin; as a form of actualization of the development of teacher's pedagogical abilities. The method in this PKM uses the Participatory Rural Apraissal (PRA) model, by involving partners in determining the problem solving faced. The results obtained indicate an increase in the ability of teachers in designing and developing active learning methods characterized by the character of Islam rahmatan lil'alamin, and is an innovation step in the development of the 2013 curriculum which emphasizes the strengthening of character education. Keywords: active learning method, Islam rahmatan lil'alamin, empowering teachers ABSTRAKArtikel ini merupakan hasil dari program kemitraan masyarakat (PKM) yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam pengembangan metode pembelajaran aktif berkarakter Islam rahmatan lil’alamin di SD Muhammadiyah Pujotomo dan MI Muhammadiyah Danurejo, Kecamatan Mertoyudan Kabupaten Magelang. Dua lembaga ini mempunyai masalah, salah satunya adalah berkaitan dengan kompetensi dalam mengelola pembelajaan; para guru cenderung konvensional dalam menerapkan metode pembelajaran dan belum bisa mengaitkan pembelajaran dengan pendekatan Islami. Padahal seharusnya muatan di lembaga pendidikan Islam harus menunjukkan karakteristik pembelajaran yang bernuansa islami. Solusi untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut adalah membekali para guru dengan metode pembelajaran aktif berkarakter Islam rahmatan lil ‘alamin; sebagai bentuk aktualisasi pengembangan kemampuan pedagogik guru. Metode dalam PKM ini mengunakan model Participatory Rural Apraissal (PRA), dengan melibatkan mitra dalam penentuan pemecahan masalah yang dihadapi. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan guru dalam merancang dan mengembangkan metode pembelajaran aktif berkarakter Islam rahmatan lil’alamin, dan merupakan suatu langkah inovasi pengembangan kurikulum 2013 yang mengedepankan penguatan pendidikan karakter.  Kata Kunci: metode pembelajaran aktif, Islam rahmatan lil’alamin, pemberdayaan guru

This study aims to identify items of character values ​​and methods of their internalization in learning ‘ilm al-ashwat in the Arabic Education Department of UNSIQ Wonosobo. It is a qualitative-descriptive study where data collection is done through observation, interviews, and documentation from the lecturer of ‘ilm al-ashwat, lecturer of character education, head of sub-section of academic and student affairs, and some students from semesters 3 and 5 who have taken the course. Participants of this research include the first semester students. Findings of this study show that there are some character values ​​ internalized in students when learning ‘ilm al-ashwat. The values ​​are classified into two categories. The first is those that are ​​implied in the learning method such as self-confidence, responsibility, reading interest, achievement-motivated quality, and curiosity. The second is those ​​that are implied in the teaching material of ‘ilm al-ashwat such as honesty, self-discipline, communicative attitude, and religiosity. Meanwhile, the internalization itself is done by role-modeling, prioritizing, and reflection.

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberi gambaran opini guru tentang pemanfaatan google classroom sebagai media pembelajaran di era new normal pandemi covid-19. Guru berperan sangat penting untuk tercapainya pendidikan yang berkualitas dan berkarakter. Metode pembelajaran yang disampaikan sebaiknya disajikan secara menarik dan mudah dipahami oleh siswa.Karenanya pemilihan media pembelajaran yang tepat pada situasi darurat, perlu menjadi bahan pertimbangan para guru selaku pemeran utama dalam dunia pendidikan.  Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode survey terhadap 31 orang guru yang mengajar di SMAN 1 Bakam dan SMAN 1 Pemali melalui sebaran angket tertutup dan terbuka dalam bentuk google form. Hasil angket disajikan dalam bentuk tabel dan grafik, serta dianalisis secara deskriptif. Terdapat rata-rata 88,7 % guru memberi respon positif dan menyatakan setuju pada keunggulan fitur-fitur google classroom. Hal ini didukung pula dari hasil angket terbuka yang menyatakan bahwa keunggulan google classroom tersebut, memfasilitasi semua kebutuhan guru, mulai dari mengontrol kehadiran siswa, membuat kelas, menyampaikan materi dan penugasan, melakukan evaluasi dan penilaian,  serta memberi umpan balik terhadap pekerjaan siswa. Semua data hasil pekerjan siswa, tersimpan dan terorganisir dengan baik pada google dan berlangsung lama. Kata kunci: opini guru; google classroom; pandemi covid-19   ABSTARCT This study aims to provide an overview of the teacher's opinion about the use of google classroom as a learning medium in the new normal era of the Covid-19 pandemic. Teachers play a very important role in achieving quality and character education. The learning method that is delivered should be presented in an attractive manner and easily understood by students. Therefore, choosing the right learning media in an emergency situation needs to be taken into consideration by teachers as the main players in the world of education. The research was conducted by surveying 31 teachers who taught at SMAN 1 Bakam and SMAN 1 Pemali through closed and open questionnaires in the form of google form. The results of the questionnaire were presented in tables and graphs, and were analyzed descriptively. There was an average of 88.7% of teachers giving positive responses and agreeing on the advantages of the Google classroom features. This is also supported by the results of an open questionnaire which states that the advantages of the google classroom are facilitating all teacher needs, starting from controlling student attendance, creating classes, delivering materials and assignments, conducting evaluations and assessments, and providing feedback on student work. All data on student work is stored and well organized on Google and lasts a long time. Key words: teachers opinion; google classroom; the covid-19 pandemic

The learning methods of pantomime in Indonesia in the context of national education can be designed to support character education programs scheduled by the government through formal and non-formal education channels. The purpose of this study of pantomime learning methods is to package the way of parenting in the education realm. The method used is a qualitative method and method of action. The findings of the pantomime learning method are in the form of pantomime concepts and presentation techniques that offer new ways and procedures to improve and enhance the professionalism of the ability to educate pantomimes nationally. Thus in the presentation of pantomime learning with sign language, the expression on the face and body of the culprit can be appreciated by every person, community and citizen of Indonesia and other nations.Keywords: pantomime; the professionalism of educators; character education; formal and non-formal education

This research is aimed at acknowledging the concept and implementation of character education in the Prof. DR. HAMKA (UHAMKA) Muhammadiyah University, Jakarta. As a university under the Muhammadiyah, character education is the main objective of the education implemented in UHAMKA. This research is a qualitative research In this context, the researcher is the main instrument collecting and interpreting the existing data. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with a number of UHAMKA key informants and written documents related to character education. The research results show that UHAMKA has developed a character education model through the AIKA curriculum. This AIKA curriculum has been formulated in such a manner with systematic management from the aspects of policies, contents and organization so that it can be referred to as a model. However, the application of the AIKA curriculum has not reached the expected target. There are many things that must be reformed in order to achieve the objective of character education in UHAMKA especially those related to the relatively cognitive material contents and learning method.

One of the successes in high school student learning lies in the use of learning method or model. The development of technology has given great influence on the world of today’s education. Learning media that are independent and technology-based become an attraction for students to improve learning motivation and to educate students to be able to learn independently. This study aims to develop the interactive learning media through webtoon applications as an effort to shape the character of high school students through literacy culture. This research also aims to foster high school students' interest in reading through smart phone technology. The subjects of this study were high school students. The research method used is the method of triangulation which includes data triangulation, triangulation between researchers and theory triangulation. Data collection techniques used in this studywere interviews, observation and documentation. The data obtained were then analyzed using descriptive qualitative analysis techniques. The results of this study are scientific publications and products in the form of interactive learning media in an effort to strengthen the character of high school students.   Keywords: Webtoon, literacy culture, character education, interactive learning method
