AbstractA celebrated result of Halász describes the asymptotic behavior of the arithmetic mean of an arbitrary multiplicative function with values on the unit disc. We extend this result to multilinear averages of multiplicative functions providing similar asymptotics, thus verifying a two dimensional variant of a conjecture of Elliott. As a consequence, we get several convergence results for such multilinear expressions, one of which generalises a well known convergence result of Wirsing. The key ingredients are a recent structural result for multiplicative functions with values on the unit disc proved by the authors and the mean value theorem of Halász.

INTRODUCTION: Patient satisfaction is an important outcome indicator for health care system. The present study presents the level of satisfaction of COVID 19 patients with facilities provided and effect of subsequent corrective measures that were done based on the feedback taken from the admitted patients. METHODOLOGY: This is an observational study conducted on admitted COVID 19 patients through telephonic interviews. The enrolled patients were interviewed between 2nd to 4th day of the patients' stay with the help of a questionnaire. After the phase I of feedback collection, certain changes/ improvements were done based on the feedback of the patients. Then phase II of the feedback collection was done. The results were compared and statistical signicance calculated. RESULTS: The satisfaction level with respect to cleanliness improved signicantly from Phase I (70.5%) to Phase II (97.6%). There was signicant improvement in level of satisfaction with the diet quality and quantity from Phase I (82.1%) to Phase II (99.2%). The mean satisfaction level was higher in phase II as compared to phase I. There was signicant change (t value= 47.810) in level of satisfaction among the patients in phase II after the implementation of improvement steps. CONCLUSION: The study shows that the actions and policies implemented after taking the patients' perspective into account helped the hospital to improve its services during these testing times of COVID 19 pandemic.

Abstract Seven laboratories collaboratively studied 3 methods for sampling water-based insecticides in pressurized cans. Method 1 was a direct sampling method where the sample was collected continuously from an aerosol outlet into the solvent, using a U-shaped sampling assembly. Method 2 was an indirect method, in which the sample was collected in the solvent from an open can after the propellent was discharged under frozen conditions. Method 3 was an extension of Method 1, where ≥3 samples were collected continuously from an aerosol outlet into the solvent through a U-shaped sampling assembly. The solvent, which contained the active ingredient, was concentrated and transferred to a suitable volumetric flask for gasliquid chromatographic (GLC) analysis. The means of the analytical results for Methods 1 and 3 did not show a significant difference at the 95% confidence level. However, a significant difference was found at the 95% confidence level for the mean value for Method 2 compared with the means for Methods 1 and 3. Methods 1 and 3 have been adopted as official first action for sampling pressurized cans containing aerosols.

An impedance plethysmographic method for measuring systolic and diastolic blood pressures in small infants using standard electro-cardiogram recorders has been studied. The overall 95% confidence limit of the mean of five estimations was found to be ±3.74 mm Hg for the systolic and ±3.72 mm Hg for the diastolic value. Comparing this method with intra-arterial measurements gave correlation coefficients (r) of 0.95 (bias 10.09 mm Hg) for systolic pressure and 0.89 (Bias 10.09 mm Hg) for diastolic pressure. Values for the comparison with auscultation were 0.98 (bias 19.29 mm Hg) systolic and 0.86 (bias 10.17 mm Hg) diastolic, and for the comparison of the arithmetic mean value with the flush method 0.84 (bias 30.17 mm Hg). These results reveal a good correlation with the intra-arterial measurements and indicate that this technique can be used for the periodic or continuous blood pressure monitoring of infants.

This study aimed to determine the level of tourist satisfaction and the performance of attractions, accessibilities, and amenities (3As) in Pulesari Tourism Village (PTV). This study uses both qualitative and quantitative (mixed method). The population in this study was tourists who visited PTV during the period of August to September 2018. A hundred samples were collected using Purposive Sampling method. Data were collected by distributing questionnaires, in-depth interviews, field observations, and documentation. Gradual quantitative-qualitative data analysis is used as a technique to analyse the data. It begins with Likert satisfaction analysis, Importance Performance Analysis, and qualitative descriptive analysis. The results showed that the level of tourist satisfaction was in the satisfied category. Managers need to improve the quality of attraction components and become a priority to meet tourist expectations. Based on this study, the results show that the quality of the 3As component influences the level of satisfaction of visiting tourists. The three components become unity and support each other. A low assessment of one component can be improved by other components that are perceived to have better quality.

The capacitance between parallel planes of a cube has been calculated. The arithmetic mean of the three values has been found to be less affected by perturbations from symmetry than any single value. The improvement factor is 13.45. The theoretical results have been confirmed experimentally.Using the mean value as the measure of capacitance, less stringent machining tolerances and less precision in assembly are required than when a single value of capacitance is used.

This study focuses its analysis on tourist satisfactions in various tourist destinations in the area of Gunung Kidul Regency of Yogyakarta Special Region. Analysis on tourist satisfaction in this research utilizes the Holiday Satisfaction (HOLSAT) model, first proposed by Tribe and Snaith. Its primary principle in evaluating tourist satisfactions is determined by comparing tourist perceptions on their holiday activities prior to doing activities (expectation) and after (experience) they do the activities. Survey is the primary research method applied in this study, in which questionnaire is designed based on the HOLSAT model itself. Analyses reveal that as a new, developing tourist destination in Yogyakarta, the tourist holiday satisfaction level in various tourist attractions in the area of Gunungkidul Regency is notably high for attraction attributes. The average mean of expectation and experience using the HOLSAT model in this research shows that attributes categorized as attraction and activities components are those that are highly perceived by the respondents. This means that in these two elements the tourists are satisfied. On the other hand, attributes categorized in accessibilities and amenities components receive the least score by the respondents, which means that the tourist are not satisfied in these items.
