Some students have difficulty solving math problems in the integral calculus course, one of the materials for the volume of rotating objects. The purpose of this research is to describe the types of errors made by students of class F Mathematics Education FKIP Ahmad Dahlan University and their causes in solving the volume of rotating objects in integral calculus courses in the Polya stage. This research is a quantitative quantitative research. The research subjects are one class with a total of 20 students. For interviews, 3 students were taken with the criteria of high, medium and low abilities. Collecting research data using test material, the volume of rotating objects and student interviews about the factors that cause mistakes made. The steps for solving the problem consist of four stages, namely: understanding the problem, planning for completion, implementing the plan, and examining the solutions obtained. From the results of the research on student errors based on Polya's stages: 1) understanding the problem 55.89%, planning for completion of 50.00%, errors in implementing planning 32.36%, and errors in re-checking the process and results 44.12%; 2) the causes of students making mistakes in solving integral calculus questions on the volume of rotating objects, namely students lacking mastery in drawing function graphs, students lacking in basic concepts and volume formulas for rotating objects, and students unable to analyze the questions given.

Abstract   Mathematical resilience is a mathematical ability that shows endurance and flexibility when studying and mastering mathematics. This research is a quantitative research that aims to analyze the variables forming the indicators of mathematical resilience ability in mathematics education study program students FKIP. The research subjects consisted of 178 students of Mathematics Education Study Program FKIP. All questionnaires were given to the questionnaire containing 33 variables forming mathematical resilience. Research data were analyzed using Factor Analysis. The results showed that 9 (nine) indicators could be formed as indicators for forming mathematical resilience of FKIP mathematics education study program students. Each of the 9 (nine) indicators is built by several variables which are the variables forming the mathematical resilience indicators.   Keyword: Mathematical Resilience, Factor Analysis   Abstrak   Resiliensi matematis merupakan kemampuan matematis yang menunjukkan daya tahan dan daya lentur ketika mempelajari dan menguasai matematika. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif yang bertujuan menganalisis variabel-variabel pembentuk indikator kemampuan resiliensi matematis pada mahasiswa prodi pendidikan matematika FKIP. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari mahasiswa prodi pendidikan matematia FKIP sebanyak 178 orang responden. Kepada seluruh responden diberikan kuisioner yang berisi variabel-variabel pembentuk resiliensi matematis sebanyak 33 statement. Data hasil penelitian dianalisis menggunakan Analisis Faktor. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dapat dibentuk 9 (sembilan) indikator sebagai indikator pembentuk resiliensi matematis mahasiswa prodi pendidikan matematika FKIP. Masing-masing dari 9 (sembilan) indikator tersebut dibangun oleh beberapa variabel yang merupakan variabel pembentuk indikator resiliensi matematis tersebut   Kata Kunci: Resiliensi Matematis, Analisis Faktor.

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengekplorasi kemampuan mahasiswa program studi matematika dalam menganalisis materi secara berkelompok. Subyek penelitian sebanyak 42 mahasiswa program studi matematika yang mengikuti mata kuliah dasar-dasar penelitian pendidikan matematika. Ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) dengan 3 siklus. Subyek penelitian dibagi dalam delapan kelompok, masing-masing beranggota 5-6 mahasiswa. Pelaksanaan pembelajaran di kelas menggunakan pembelajaran kooperatif resiprokal berbantuan e-learning edmodo. Investigasi kemampuan mahasiswa dalam menganalisis materi dilakukan dengan cara mengamati berlangsungnya kegiatan diskusi kelompok, dan dari laporan hasil kerja tertulis. Di samping itu data penelitian dapat diperoleh melalui presentasi dan diskusi kelas. Kinerja mahasiswa dalam kelompok ketika menganalisis aturan atau pedoman, misalnya buku panduan penulisan skripsi, tugas akhir, dan karya ilmiah tampak meliputi aspek kegiatan membaca, mengeksplorasi, dan mempresentasikan. Dalam menganalisis jurnal ilmiah kegiatan mahasiswa dalam kelompok meliputi aspek membaca, merencanakan, menganalisis, mengeksplorasi, dan memverifikasi. Dalam mempresentasikan hasil diskusinya menunjukkan adanya aspek menanya, menjelaskan, memprediksi, dan meringkas. Dalam memecahkan masalah secara berkelompok, mahasiswa bersikap disiplin, aktif, dan bertanggungjawab.The purpose of this study is to explore the ability of students of mathematics to analyze the material in groups. The research subjects were 42 students of mathematics who followed the course the basics of mathematics education research. It is classroom action research (CAR) with 3 cycles. The subjects were divided into eight groups, each student membered 5-6. Implementation of classroom learning using reciprocal aided cooperative learning Edmodo e-learning. Investigation of students ability to analyze the material is done by observing the course of the group discussions, and reports the results of the written work. In addition, research data could be collected through presentations and class discussions. Performance of the students in the group when analyzing the rules or guidelines, for example guidebooks thesis writing, thesis and scientific papers appear include aspects of reading, exploring, and presenting. In analyzing the scientific journal of student activities in the group include aspects of reading, plan, analyze, explore, and verify. In the present discussion results indicate aspects ask, explain, predict, and summarize. In solving problems in a group of students, they were being discipline, active, and responsible.

The heterogeneity of mathematics education students is a challenge for lecturers and students at the same level who want to research because of the many characteristics. Creativity is not only intended for people with high mathematical abilities but also for everyone. The study was conducted online due to the COVID-19 outbreak. This research is a descriptive qualitative research that aims to describe the level of creative thinking of students in solving math problems online and to describe the activity of online classes. The research subjects studied were students of the 6th semester 6th semester mathematics education research methodology (metopen) at Raja Ali Haji Maritime University, totaling 23 people. The data analysis technique in this study uses the methods proposed by Miles and Huberman, namely data reduction, data presentation and verification or conclusions. Data collection is done by providing problem solving questions to all subjects online. The results of the study on the average creative thinking level of the 23 people were quite creative and active.

Students of mathematics education need to have a good understanding in solving integral calculus problems, but often have difficulty in understanding the subject material. The difficulties can be seen from the mistakes made by students when solving the problems. This article aims to analyze the errors of students in learning integral calculus especially in the subject of volume of the solid of revolution in terms of critical thinking aspects. This research is a qualitative descriptive study involving twenty-four of 6th-semester students of mathematics education at a private university in Yogyakarta. The research subjects were chosen purposively by considering: student errors in determining the volume of the solid of revolutions with integral techniques in terms of critical thinking aspect. The findings of this study indicate, student errors in determining the function of integrals, write down the rules of integral writing, misunderstanding in algebraic concepts, adding constants, write down limits and sigma notations, determine integration methods, determine boundaries integration, writing in integral sign, and error in determining the radius of the solid of revolution.

The purpose of this study is to determine the factors that influence the career development of lecturers. Refraksi Optisi YLPTK Padang lecturer research subjects. This type of correlational quantitative research. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire with a Likert scale. Data analysis techniques with the F test and t test. this research is important to examine factors influencing the career development of lecturers. The results of data analysis showed that work commitment, leadership, colleague support and competence together or partially influenced lecturer career development.

This study aims to describe aspects of students 'abilities in solving problems of students' scientific literacy problems based on the RASCH model. This research uses descriptive quantitative research design with survey research methods. The research subjects were 33 students of class XII IPA 2 of SMAN 6 Banjarmasin. Data collection techniques were carried out by using a scientific literacy test consisting of 9 items about the description of dynamic electrical matter. The results of the research data were analyzed using the RASCH model using the Winstep program to obtain logit values. The results showed that the average student logit value was 1.75 logit, this value was less than 0.0 logit. This indicates that students' ability to solve scientific literacy questions is still low, so students need to be trained in scientific literacy through classroom learning.

This study aims to improve mathematics communication skills and problem solving through the application of realistic mathematics education. The type of research used is Classroom Action Research. The research subjects were 18 students of class V SD Muhammadiyah Notoprajan, while the object of this research was the mathematics communication skills and problem solving abilities. The data collection techniques used were tests and observations. The data collection instruments used were mathematical communication test questions and problem solving, and observation sheets. Mathematical communication data and problem solving abilities were analyzed descriptively. The results of the study indicate that there is an increase in mathematics communication skills and problem solving through the application of realistic mathematics education. This is indicated by the percentage of students with high and very high mathematics communication skills in the first cycle of 72.22% and an increase in the second cycle to 94%. The percentage of students with the ability to solve math problems in the high and very high category in the first cycle was 66.67%, an increase in the second cycle to 100%.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk 1) Mengetahui efektivitas penggunaan metode mnemonik yang ditinjau dari daya ingat siswa dalam mengingat rumus-rumus trigonometeri, 2) Mengetahui efektivitas penggunaan metode mnemonik yang ditinjau dari hasil belajar siswa pada materi trigonometri. Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimen semu dengan pendekatan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif-kuantitatif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X Teknik Pemesinan A SMK N 2 Depok Sleman sebagai kelas eksperimen. Dari hasil penelitian, analisis data dan pembahasan diperoleh simpulan bahwa metode mnemonik efektif untuk pembelajaran trigonometri yang ditinjau dari daya ingat dan hasil belajar siswa.This study aims to 1) assess the effectiveness of the use of the mnemonic method in terms of memory the students in remembering formulas trigonometry, 2) Determine the effectiveness of using the mnemonic method in terms of student learning outcomes in trigonometry material. The research is a quasi-experimental approach descriptive qualitative-quantitative research. Subjects in this study were students of class X Mechanical Machining A SMK N 2 Depok Sleman as a class experiment. From the research, data analysis and discussion of research concluded that an effective method for learning trigonometry mnemonics that in terms of memory and learning outcomes of students.

Transformation Leadership, Motivation and Satisfiction are the three factors of a few relatively large factors suspected to influence Performance on the PT. Adya Tours. These research aimed to determine the effect of Transformation Leadership, Motivation and Satisfiction toward Performance on the PT. Adya Tours.Research conducted at the PT. Adya Tours by taking 71 employees as the research sample, calculated using the Slovin formula of the total population of 240 employees  at  the  margin  of  error  of  10%.  Data  were collected by questionnaire instruments covered by the five rating scale from strongly disagree to strongly agree. Quantitative research was conducted by describing and analyzing research data. The multiple linier regression analysis and multiple determination coeficient are the statistic approach to data analysis.The study produced four major findings consistent with the hypothesis put forward, that are: 1) Transformation Leadership has a significant effect on Performance  in  a  positive  direction;  2)  Motivation  has  a  significant  effect  on Performance in a positive direction; 3) Satisfiction has a significant effect on Performance in a positive direction; 4) Transformation Leadership, Motivation and Satisfiction simultaneously influence 92.70% Performance variability.Base on the research finding, in order to increase Performance can be done by increasing Transformation Leadership, Motivation and Satisfiction. Kata kunci:Transformation Leadership, Motivation, Satisfaction, Performance

AbstractThis study was conducted to the influents of the Islamic symbolisms toward the decision of consumption buying of the food products. This is a quantitative research. A survey was also involved in this research. Data are also collected through questionnaire to gain an accurate information. Data analysis technique used was a simple regression. The research findings show that Islamic symbolisms have significant influents toward decision to buy food products. That is, t value of p significant is < 0,005 (0,000 < 0, 05) while R square is 0,273 or 27,3 %. In conclusion the influents of Islamic symbols toward the decision on buying have influents as of 27, 3 %. Keywords: Islamic Symbolism, Decision on buying, food products.
