Since COVID-19 shocked the world, all business activities experienced an enormous impact, including in the field of education. UNESCO advised the world to ease the pandemic's impact on world education continuity with distance learning policies to overcome this disruption. Since then, pandemic affected countries experienced difficulties implementing that distance learning to respond to the policy. In this regard, this paper was carried out to identify additional instructional leadership competencies for teachers in managing learning in a pandemic. Evidence from the study of education shows that learning in disruption time is closely related to teachers' management in innovating such high technological virtual learning. To find answers, we conducted preliminary readings of the relevant literature. Next, we analyzed that information qualitatively by exploring what teacher instruction management is applicable during the pandemic. Then, we found that additional teaching leadership competencies can be adopted to support students learning in virtual approaches such as reflective opportunities, increasing truth among teachers and students, keeping curiosity habits, building productive communication, initiative habit, and more listening to understand others. Those additional teaching leadership competencies are useful to any party interested in supporting students learning in the pandemic disruption.

Researchers found that what must pursue the Islamic education curriculum in the New Normal period by integrating content, preparing a systematic learning concept and good training in terms of the use of technology so that it is accustomed to carrying out the learning process online. One of the ideal educational strategies during this pandemic is to explore the government's provisions by using an agreed application. There are two crucial component elements in the implementation of the learning process activities; namely, students and educators must be given training related to technology media to know the direction of learning so that they avoid mistakes that will become a problem. The industrial revolution that penetrated the world of education forced Islamic boarding schools (Pesantren), as part of education, to mutate in new form to find the ideal format as an adaptive step to keep up to date. Pesantren which have a cultural base of traditional society make various efforts to make acculturation with technology. The efforts of these pesantren can be seen from the number of pesantren websites, which provide information about pesantren and religious programs online. On the other hand, virtual pesantren have also emerged, which do not have a real pesantren institutional base in the community, using online media as an operational base. Some of these virtual Islamic boarding schools have strong buildings in cyberspace, with a wider reach than Islamic boarding schools. Its flexible and open nature makes virtual pesantren have their own community in cyberspace. Furthermore, problems arise when virtual Islamic boarding schools intersect with conventional Pesantren in cyberspace. This research is a library research that uses printed and online media as data sources. This study aims to find differences in the characteristics of virtual pesantren, and their relationship with the dynamics of pesantren in the era 4.0. From the content analysis conducted at several virtual pesantren, it was found that some of them used the same name as real pesantren, thus creating ambiguity of virtual pesantren

ABSTRACTMoney is part of the community's need to conduct various transactions. Indonesia as a developing country makes the dollar as the standard of money value because the position of the dollar is considered strong by almost all countries in the world. But in fact the existence of a dollar that is not guaranteed by anything often changes (fluctuates) and will directly affect the financial systems of countries that refer to the dollar, including Indonesia. Ibn Khaldun was a Muslim scientist who lived during the decline of Islam. He was actively involved in the world of government and was one of the figures who had brilliant ideas about the concept of money (751-808 H / 1350-1406 AD). This study aims to examine Ibn Khaldhun's concept of money and monetary policy in the economy and the relevance of his thinking to monetary policy in Indonesia. This research uses library research design (Library Research) with a historical and descriptive approach. The data collection technique chosen is the documentation technique, namely the data collection technique by examining relevant literature with the chosen title. In the analysis phase content analysis techniques are used and combined with historical continuity methods to answer the problem formulation that is proposed. The data analysis stage is through the stages of linguistic analysis and concept analysis. The results showed that: 1) the emergence of the concept of Ibn Khaldun's money and monetary system in the economy was motivated by the economic and political conditions experienced during Ibn Khaldun's life. History says that Muqadimah Ibn Khaldun was written based on the results of his thoughts combined with life experiences he experienced; 2) The concept of Ibn Khaldun is relevant if it is applied in the monetary system in Indonesia. This is based on the real conditions faced by Indonesia, which currently uses empty money. Even though its existence is now proven to have caused crises many times. So it is not impossible if gold and silver coins are used as the standard of money value.Key word: Concept of Money, Monetary Policy

The Covid-19 pandemic that has hit the world, including Indonesia, requires taking a stand in preventing wider transmission, including the education sector. In this regard, the Ministry of Education and Culture has taken a firm stance through several circular letters relating to education policies in the emergency period of the spread of Covid-19. The distance learning process is a solution that is not yet optimal in its implementation. There are things that must be considered in this distance learning, among others, the quality of teacher resources must be improved, both in terms of content and methodology as well as in terms of the use of information technology. In addition, students are also less active in participating in this distance learning, both due to an unstable internet network and in terms of providing a limited internet quota. The purpose of writing this article is to study and understand the problems in learning activities during a pandemic, namely distance learning so that students can participate actively and interestingly. This study used a qualitative and observative approach. The results of this study prove that distance learning (PJJ) during the Covid-19 pandemic caused various responses and changes to the learning system that could affect the learning process and the level of development of students in responding to the material presented.

Technology is being increasingly integrated as a part of teaching in view of enhancing students’ achievement in learning English. This paper presents outcomes of research that examined the effect of using Kahoot! in teaching English Maritime for second semester at Nautika II class of Politeknik Ilmu Pelayaran Makassar. This study used pre-experimental design. In taking the sample, this study used purposive sampling technique. This study was carried out among 20 students from total population of Nautika II classes. The data were analyzed by using descriptive and inferential statistics. Descriptive statistics in the form of frequency, means, standard deviation and independent t – test. From this study, it was found that the students’ test scores were higher when they were taught using Kahoot! on the learning process. The result of hypothesis testing showed t-test (17.321) was more than t-table (2.093). Therefore, it can be concluded that H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted. It means that there was a significant effect of using Kahoot! on the students’ vocabulary and grammar achievement at second semester in Nautika II class C. From these findings, it can be suggested that online media like Kahoot! is strongly recommended to be used in the teaching and learning process of English vocabulary and grammar. It is expected that the finding of this study would enlighten the relevant literature of the area.
