The objective of this research was to investigate the effect of the learning models on learning achievement viewed from learning style types of the students. The learning models compared were PBL, GI, and classical with scientific approach model. The type of the research was quasi-experimental research with 3x3 factorial design. The population of this research was the students in grade X1 higher Secondary School in Lombok East on academic year of  2014/2015. The size of the sample was 282 students, which was taken by using stratified cluster random sampling technique. The instruments used for data collection were learning style questionnaire and mathematics achievement test. The hypothesis test used unbalance two ways analysis of variance. The results of the research were as follows. (1) the problem based learning model (PBL) and the cooperative learning model of the  group investgation (GI) type with scientific approach result in equal learning achievement in mathematics, buth both problem based learning model (PBL) and the cooperative learning model of the group investgation (GI) type give better result in learning achievement in mathematics than the classical with scientific approach. (2) the student with the high, medium, and ow independent learning levels have equal learning achievement. (3) in each of the learning models, the high, medium, and, low independent learning levels, result in the equal learning achievement. (4) in each of the independent learning levels, the problem based learning model (PBL) and the cooperative learning model of the  group investgation (GI) type with scientific approach result in equal learning achievement in mathematics, buth both problem based learning model (PBL) and the cooperative learning model of the  group investgation (GI) type give better result in learning achievement in mathematics than the classical with scientific approach.

This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of problem-based teaching and learning models to increase learning achievement and the relationship with students' critical thinking skills. This study used an experimental method with a design pretest-posttest control group.  The population in this study were all semester four students of the Biology Education Department. Analysis of experimental data to measure the achievement of student learning outcomes with t-test and critical thinking skills using percentage description analysis, using statistical computer software programs. The research results show an increase in learning achievement, with an average N-gain for problem-based learning units is 70.9 (moderate) and 57.93 (moderate) for conventional classes. The t-test results show that the t-count value is 3.61 and the t-table is 1.991, so t-count t-table. The conclusion is that there are differences in learning outcomes in implementing problem-based teaching and learning models to increase learning outcomes with critical thinking skills of four at the Private University of Aceh Province, Indonesia.

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) peningkatan motivasi belajar matematika siswa kelas VIII B SMPN 7 Singaraja melalui penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah, (2) peningkatan prestasi belajar matematika siswa kelas VIII B SMPN 7 Singaraja melalui penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah, dan (3) tanggapan siswa kelas VIII B SMPN 7 Singaraja terhadap model pembelajaran berbasis masalah. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam tiga siklus dengan subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII B SMPN 7 Singaraja sebanyak 32 orang siswa.Data motivasi siswa dikumpulkan menggunakan angket motivasi, data prestasi belajar siswa dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan tes prestasi belajar, dan tanggapan siswa dikumpulkan menggunakan angket tanggapan siswa. Data yang telah terkumpul selanjutnya dianalisis secara deskriptif.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa motivasi dan prestasi belajar matematika siswa mengalami peningkatan dan rata-rata skor tanggapan siswa telah berada dalam katagori positif.Kata kunci:       Model Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah, Motivasi Belajar   Matematika, Prestasi Belajar Matematika AbstractThis study aims to find out: (1) an increase in mathematics learning motivation of VIII B class students of Singaraja 7 Junior High School through the application of problem-based learning models, (2) improvement of mathematics learning achievement of VIII B class students of Singaraja 7 Junior High School through the application of problem-based learning models, and ( 3) responses of students of class VIII B of SMPN 7 Singaraja to problem-based learning models. This research is a classroom action research which is carried out in three cycles with the research subjects being students of class VIII B of SMPN 7 Singaraja as many as 32 students. Student motivation data was collected using motivation questionnaire, student achievement data were collected using learning achievement tests, and student responses were collected using student response questionnaires. The data that has been collected is then analyzed descriptively. The results showed that the motivation and achievement of students' mathematics learning had increased and the average response score of students had been in the positive category.Keywords: Problem Based Learning Model, Mathematics Learning Motivation, Mathematics Learning Achievement

Rendahnya minat peserta didik terhadap pelajaran matematika dikarenakan peserta didik kurang mengetahui bagaimana cara memecahkan masalah atau persoalan matematika sehingga malas mengerjakan tugas yang diberikan guru dan prestasi belajarnya rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan keefektifan model pembelajaran problem based learning terhadap minat dan prestasi belajar matematika. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas VIII semester 2 SMP Negeri 2 Songgom Kabupaten Brebes tahun pelajaran 2016/2017 dengan jumlah sampel peserta didik 180 orang. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sample. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah metode dokumentasi, tes, dan angket. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji proporsi, uji-t satu pihak kanan, uji analisis ragam multivariat satu arah, dan uji -Hotelling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa prestasi belajar peserta didik yang diajar menggunakan model pembelajaran PBL mencapai nilai KKM ? 65 sebesar 75%, minat belajar peserta didik yang diajar menggunakan model pembelajaran PBL lebih baik dari pada menggunakan model pembelajaran ekspositori, prestasi belajar matematika peserta didik yang diajar menggunakan model pembelajaran PBL lebih baik dari pada menggunakan model pembelajaran ekspositori, ada perbedaan antara minat dan prestasi belajar matematika peserta didik yang diajar menggunakan model pembelajaran PBL dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran ekspositori, serta minat dan prestasi belajar matematika peserta didik yang diajar menggunakan model pembelajaran PBL lebih baik dibandingkan menggunakan model pembelajaran ekspositori. Kata kunci: keefektifan, Problem Based Learning, minat belajar, prestasi belajar matematika.   ABSTRACT The low interest of students towards mathematics lessons is because students do not know how to solve problems or mathematical problems so they are lazy to do the assignments given by the teacher and their learning achievement is low. This research is to describe the effectiveness of problem based learning models on interest and learning achievement in mathematics. The population in this study were students of class VIII second semester at Junior High School Songgom 2 Brebes 2016/2017 with a sample of 180 students. Sampling using purposive sample technique. Data collection methods used are documentation, tests and questionnaires. Data analysis techniques used a proportion test, one-sided t-test, one-way multivariate analysis, and -Hotelling test. The results showed that the learning achievement of students who were taught using PBL learning models achieved KKM values ??of ?65 by 75%, Learning interest of students who are taught using PBL learning models is better than using expository learning models, mathematics learning achievement of students taught using PBL learning models is better than using expository learning models, there is a difference between the interest and achievement of mathematics learning students who are taught using PBL learning models using an expository learning model, the interest and achievement of mathematics learning students who are taught using PBL learning models are better than using expository learning models. This study aims to determine 1) Effect of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) based local wisdom model towards students’ learning achievement 2) Effect of the critical thinking towards students learning achievement 3) Interaction between the use of learning models and critical thinking skills towards student learning achievement. This study was experimental study. The population of this study were all students of class X IPA at SMA AL-Hamzar Tembeng Putik in academic year 2019/2020. The sample of this study was selected by saturated sampling technique which was Class X IPA 1 as an experimental class while class X IPA 2 was as a control class. The research design of this study was 2 x 2 factorial design. the data collection techniques of this study used critical thinking questionnaires and achievement tests. The data were analyzed by using two ways Anova. The results showed that; 1) there was an effect of problem based learning (PBL) based local wisdom on student learning achievement, it proved by the result of FA count> Ftable was 11.29> 4.00, which meant H0A was rejected, 2) There was an effect of critical thinking skill towards student learning achievement, it proved by the result of FB> Ftable was 5.51> 4.00 which meant that H0B is rejected. 3) There was no interaction between the use of learning models with the Critical thinking skill towards student achievement, it is because FABcount <Ftable was 0.98 <0.04 which meant H0AB is accepted.

This research is based on the low learning outcomes of Citizenship Education for fourth grade students of State Primary School 010, Pulau Aro, Kuantan Tengah Subdistrict, Kuantan Singingi Regency, from 12 students only 5 (41.66%) who achieved the minimum completeness criteria determined by the school at 70 with an average score amounting to 65.4. The research aims to improve the learning outcomes of Citizenship Education through the application of problem based intruction models. The results of the study show, during the learning process before using the problem-based learning model, the average score was 65.4 with incomplete categories and after using the learning model based on the average problem of student learning outcomes in the first cycle to 79.7 with complete categories while in the cycle II has increased again to 87.6 with complete categories. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that through the application of problem-based learning models (Problem Based Intruction) can improve Student Grade 4 Citizenship Education Learning Outcomes of State Primary School 010, Pulau Aro, Kuantan Tengah Subdistrict, Kuantan Singingi Regency.

This study aim to determine the effect of Problem Based Learning (PBL) models in mind map integration to creativity of problem solving in the environmental pollution concept of graders X. The method used is a Quasi-experimental design form Nonequivalent Control Group Design (pretest- posttest). The study population is all the students of graders X academic year 2017/2018 as many as 9 classes with the number of 360 students. The sample used was 80 students from two classes as an experimental class and a control class. Sampling was done by Cluster Random Sampling technique. Instruments used include test descriptions, questionnaires and teacher observation sheets. The results of the analysis of the test descriptions creativity in problem solving obtained results of hypothesis testing (t test) i.e. 20.5 t count > t table of 2.66 means that Ho refused and Hi accepted, it means PBL learning models in Mind Map integration effect on creativity in problems solving. This is indicated by an increase in the average score on each indicator of creativity in problem solving in which students are able to grow various ideas, enrich ideas, add or detail the details of an idea and determine the truth to solve the problems. From the analysis of questionnaire data showed an interest in learning to use the PBL modela in Mind map integration, students agreed that if the model of PBL in Mind map integration may be easier to learn about the concept of Environmental Pollution. In addition, students also agreed that if the PBL models in Mind map integration effect on creativity in problems solving. The results showed that there was a significant influence between learning using PBL models in Mind map integration those not using the learning models to creativity in problems solving in the concept of environmental pollution of graders X.

The study aims to determine the effectiveness of mathematics learning achievement for students who are subject to the Problem Based Learning model assisted by CD Learning and CD Interactive as well as Conventional learning models on flat-build material. The population in this study were seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 223 Jakarta Timur in the academic year 2017/2018. By using selected cluster random sampling techniques VII 3 as the control class, VII 6 and VII 7 respectively as the experimental class PBL models assisted CD learning and assisted PBL models CD Interactive. Data were obtained by documentation and tests, then analyzed by Normality, Homogeneity, One-way Variant Analysis (ANOVA), Two-party and One-party Similarity Test. The results showed that there were significant differences between mathematics learning achievement of students who were taught by learning using PBL models assisted by CD Interactive, PBL models assisted by CD learning and conventional learning. Learning achievement of students who get learning using CD Interactive media is better than students who get conventional learning. Likewise, the learning achievements of students who get learning using CD Learning, media are better than students who get conventional learning. In addition, there were no significant differences between the mathematics learning outcomes of students who were taught using PBL models assisted by CD Interactive and students using PBL models assisted by CD Learning.

The ability to solve problems is a skill that students need to have in dealing with various problems in life. This study aims to determine the effect of problem based learning models; cognitive styles and interaction between both factors on science learning outcomes of students in class VII of MTs 2 Tanjung Jabung Timur in academic year 2015/2016. This research was conducted with a quasi-experimental research method by applying a 2 × 2 factorial design. The study sample consisted of an experimental class of 30 students and a control class of 29 students. Data collection was conducted using two types of instruments, namely the Group Embedded Figures Test (GEFT) to measure students cognitive styles and students' learning outcomes test in essay forms. The Problem Based Learning model affect the learning outcomes, there is significant difference in science learning outcomes between students who have Cognitive field dependent (FD) style that is taught by the Problem Based Learning model and students who have Cognitive FD style that is taught by conventional learning models. The results show that the value of the experimental class post-test is higher than that of the control class. In short, the experimental class with the application of the Problem Based Learning model in the learning process provides higher learning outcomes than that of the conventional models.
