Feeding experiment was conducted to evaluate the effects of replacing fishmeal with poultry offal silage meal (POSM) in diet on biological performance of tiger grouper. Dietary inclusion level of PSOM at 5%, 10%, 15%, and 20% substitution of fish meal were compared with the fish meal based control diet (0% PSOM). Fish were fed diets (moist pellet) at satiation two times daily for 20 weeks rearing at a floating net cage of 1 x 1 x 2 m. The result showed that replacement of fish meal with POSM up to 20% or equivalent to 39% fish meal protein were not significantly different (P>0.05) compared with control diet on all of the biological performance of tiger grouper. From the result, we expected that POSM is suitable as a partial replacement of fish meal more then 20% in tiger grouper diet if methionine and lysine are added.

This chapter uses legislative changes in the structure of federal intelligence information management in the wake of 9/11 to explore problems that arise from the failure to distinguish the centralization/decentralization and coordination/independence dimensions of regulatory authority. According to the 9/11 Commission, created to investigate the intelligence community's inability to thwart the terrorist attacks, the failure of agencies such as the FBI and the CIA to share information with each other, attributable largely to a lack of coordinated information management, was a major contributing factor. The chapter contends that Congress and the 9/11 Commission's report-on which the former relied in 2004 in enacting the most comprehensive structural reform of the intelligence community in fifty years-erred by seeking to address coordination failures by centralizing aspects of the intelligence community through the creation of the Office of the Director of National Intelligence. In addition, neither Congress nor the Commission distinguished clearly among three different information management functions-generation, dissemination, and analysis-in assessing past intelligence failures or selecting reorganizational responses to them. The chapter then uses the intelligence information management context to explore the policy tradeoffs of situating authority along both the centralization/decentralization and coordination/independence dimensions for each information management function.

This chapter gives a brief background on network management and how it is integrated into sensor network as well as the application of computational intelligence techniques in managing wireless sensor networks. Also discussed how Genetic Algorithms work in common and how they can be applied to sensor networks. Among the major management tasks rely on consumption power management, so there are many challenges associated with sensor networks but the primary challenge is energy consumption. Sensor networks are typically have little human interaction and are installed with limited battery supplies. This makes energy conservation a critical issue in deployed WSNs. All types of networks require monitoring and maintenance. A service that supplies a set of tools and applications that assist a network manager with these tasks is network management. It includes the administration of networks and all associated components. While all networks require some form of network management, different types of networks may stress certain aspects of network management. Some networks may also impose new tasks on network management. There are different types of network management architectures: centralized, hierarchical and distributed. In a centralized approach, one central server performs the role of the network management application. A hierarchical architecture will include multiple platforms, typically one server and several clients, performing network management functions.
