Abstract This study aims at describing the kinship greeting in Lio's speech using sociolinguistic theory. The approach used in this study is a qualitative approach. Data collection uses the method of listening, proficient and fishing rod. This means that researchers directly communicate with informants to gather information about kinship greetings in Lio's spoken language. Both of these methods are complemented by interview, note-taking, and documentation techniques. The results showed that in the kinship relationship based on lineage (direct linkage) in Lio's speech in Ende district, there were 16 greeting words, namely Ema, Ine, Babo, Mamo, Eda, No`o, Weta, Nara, Ka`e, Aji, Ana mamo, Ana embu, Ame du`a, Ine du`a, Ame Lo`o and Ine Lo`o. It is stressful that there are 13 kinship greeting words based on the line of marriage in Lio's speech, namely Ema (tu`a), Ine (tu`a), (Ana) tu`a, Ane, Tata / fai eda, No`o, Haki no` o, Weta, Nara, Kae, Aji, Ipa, and Eja.

The research aims to uncover the symbols in the novel The Alchemist and to gain knowledge about the moral teachings in the symbol. This research is descriptive qualitative approach. Data sources in this study are words, phrases or sentences in the novel Alchemist. Data collection method is a literature study method with note taking technique. Data were analyzed using description and content analysis methods. The results showed that the novel The Alchemist contained many symbols. These symbols include: (1) wise parents, who symbolize both negative and positive things. From his appearance, parents can symbolize something bad, but behind his old age he symbolizes a knowledge that is very much and wise; (2) stones that symbolize something hard, not easily broken, and can provide clues to something; and (3) deserts or deserts which can be interpreted as symbols of drought, aridity, unattractiveness, emptiness, despair, determination for ignorance, and also as symbols of devotion.

Artikel ini akan mendeskripsikan maksim kuantitas pada pemakaian kolokial dalam sentra pelayanan publik. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah pendekatan kualitatif. Data dalam penelitian berupa penggunaan maksim kuantitas pada pemakaian kolokial sesuai dengan tingkatan yang sesuai dalam sebuah interaksi. Sumber data dalam penelitian adalah dua contoh video pelayanan publik yang diperoleh dari situs youtube. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik simak catat. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teori Miles dan Huberman dan menggunakan alur pengumpulan data, reduksi data dan penarikan kesimpulan secara tuntas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan representasi maksim kuantitas pada pemakaian kolokial dalam sentra pelayanan publik mengarah pada (1) penggunaan kata dasar. (2) penggunaan vokal dalam sebuah kata. (3) penggunaan suku kata terakhir sebuah kata. dan (4)  penggunaan konsonan dalam sebuah kata.Katakunci: kolokial,  kuantitas,  maksim,  pelayananAbstract:This article will describe the maxim of quantity of colloquial use in public service centers. The approach used in this research is a qualitative approach. The data in this research is the use of maxim of quantity in colloquial use based on the appropriate level in an interaction. Sources of data in the study are two examples of public service videos obtained from the YouTube site. Data collection was conducted by using note-taking technique. The data analysis technique used the theory of Miles and Huberman and the flow of data collection, data reduction and conclusion. The results show that the representation of maxim of quantity in colloquial use in public service centers leads to (1) the use of basic words. (2) the use of vowels in a word. This article aims to discuss Arabic idioms and their use in Book “Silsilat Ta’lim al-Lughah al-‘Arabiyyah” with semantic analysis. The urgency of this study is to help Arabic learners and enthusiasts in analyzing the meaning of Arabic sentences and language style so that they can avoid mistakes in understanding and translating various kinds of Arabic idioms. This study was a literature review using a qualitative approach. Data collection was carried out using the scrutinized method and note-taking technique, which recorded several Arabic idioms contained in the book Silsilat Ta’lim al-Lughah al-‘Arabiyyah level three, then analyzed using semantic analysis. Based on our study, it was concluded that the forms of Arabic idioms in the book ‘Silsilah Ta’lim al-Lughah al-Arabiyyah’ level three contained 46 idioms. They consist of two types: First, Arabic idioms are composed of fi'l (verbs) and harf (letters); secondly, Arabic idioms are arranged of ism (noun) and ism (noun).

Abstract  : The purpose of this study is to describe and analyze the social values contained in the Kasungki expression in the Muna Community of Karoo Village, Kontukowuna District. This research is a field research. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. The data in this study are data in the form of spoken language which is spoken directly by parents (customary stakeholders). Sources of data in this study were obtained from customary and indigenous stakeholders in Karoo Village, Kontukowuna District. The data collection techniques used in this study were observation, interview, record, and note taking techniques. The results in this study were obtained from the social values contained in the expression of kasungki in the Muna Village Karoo community, Kontukowuna District which includes 1. cooperation, 2. care for the fate of others, 3. like to pray for others. Keywords: kasungki; value; social value

Cohesion and coherence have an important role in writing essays, both those that will write or those that have become essays. Therefore this study aims to determine the use of cohesion and coherence in the KKN novel in Penari Village. The object of this research is the KKN novel in Penari Village by Simpleman. The subject of this research is the sentence which contains the type of cohesion and coherence in the KKN novel in Penari Village by Simpleman. The approach used is a qualitative approach. A qualitative approach is an approach that presents data in the form of sentences. The design of this research is by collecting data, then the data is grouped according to the use of cohesion and coherence types, then the data is analyzed and presented in an informal form. Data collection techniques using reading techniques and note taking techniques. The technique of presenting the results of the analysis using informal techniques. Informal techniques are techniques that present data in the form of common words that are easily understood by the reader.             The results of this study are grammatical cohesion, lexical cohesion and coherence types. Grammatical cohesion includes: reference, substitution, ellipsis, and conjunction. The use of lexical cohesion are of two types namely, repetition and collocation. The use of coherence there are five relationships, namely: the sum relationship, the sequential relationship, the resistance relationship, the causal relationship, and the time relationship.

This study aims to describe the shape of the icons, indexes, and symbols contained in the poem On Sunday I’m Looking For My Father To The City. The method used in this research is a qualitative approach method. Data collection techniques used are library research techniques, reading techniques, note-taking techniques, and semi-structured interview techniques. The data analysis techniques used is to understand the data as a whole, classify the data,make comparisons of data matches, and draw data conclusions. The results of this study include (1) Icons in the poem On Sunday I Look for Father to The City by Hasan Aspahani there two types of icons, namely image icons and diagrammatic icons.(2) The index in the poem On Sunday I’m Looking for My Father to The City by Hasan Aspahani is an index in various findings between texts.(3) Symbols in Hasan Aspahani’s poem On Sunday I Look for Father to the City are signs that do not show a casual relationship between the signifier and the signifier.

Abstrak Perkembangan teknologi internet yang terus mengalir dan tidak terbendung sebagai inovasi dalam dakwah atau menyebarkan informasi yang mengandung nilai-nilai agama dapat dikatakan efektif. Penyampaian dalam proses dakwah itu terdapat berbagai macam teknik yang dapat dilakukan oleh penceramah agar pesan yang dibawakan dapat tersampaikan dengan baik oleh penceramah, salah satunya adalah humor pada postingan instagram. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apa saja aspek humor pada postingan akun instagram @nugarislucu dan implikasinya dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia di SMA. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, sumber data penelitian yaitu akun instagram @nugarislurus. Wujud data yaitu penggalan wacana dan kalimat Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu teknik simak dan teknik catat. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan metode deskriptif. Hasil penelitian diperoleh 36 data yang mengandung aspek humor dalam postingan akun Instagram @nugarislucu bulan Maret dan Mei, antara lain affiliative humor sebanyak 6 postingan (16,67%), self-enhancing humor sebanyak 7 postingan (19,44%), aggresive humor sebanyak 17 postingan (47, 22%) dan self-defeating humor sebanyak 6 postingan (16,67%). Kata kunci: humor, instagram dan pembalajaran bahasa. Abstract The development of internet technology that continues to flow and is unstoppable as innovation in propaganda or disseminating information that contains religious values ​​can be said to be effective. Submission of the preaching process and even then there are various kinds of techniques that can be carried out by the lecturer so that the message delivered can be conveyed well by the audience, one of which is humor on Instagram posts. This study aims to determine what aspects of humor on the Instagram account post @ nugarislucu and its implications in learning Indonesian in high school. This study uses a qualitative approach, the source of research data is the Instagram account @ugarislurus. The data form is a fragment of discourse and sentences Data collection techniques are listening techniques and note taking techniques. The data obtained were analyzed using descriptive methods. The results obtained 36 data containing aspects of humor in Instagram @ nugarislucu Instagram posts in March and May, including 6 affiliative humor posts (16.67%), self-enhancing humor as many as 7 posts (19.44%), aggressive humor as many as 17 posts (47, 22%) and self-defeating humor as many as 6 posts (16.67%). The use of satire language style by a film creator aims to convey meaning to the public. This study aims at analyzing the use of satire language styles used by Bu Tejo in a short film entitled "Tilik." This research used a qualitative descriptive method. The object of this research is satire utterances spoken by Bu Tejo in the film "Tilik." The data collection techniques in this study used observation, listening, and note-taking techniques. The results demonstrate three types of satire languages used by Bu Tejo in the film “Tilik": cynicism, irony, and sarcasm. It is also found that cynicism is the most spoken language than sarcasm. The study highlights that the use of satire language uttered by Bu Tejo aims to convey ideas and perspectives related to problems occurring in society and express dissatisfaction.

Falia expression is a spoken language formulated in the linguistic and cultural facts supporting the community. This study aims to describe the falia expression of Muna society in Barangka district serves as a control to protect the forest, rivers, sea, flora, and fauna. The study used a qualitative approach with methods ecolinguistics. Source of research data is an oral speech in situations informant said that natural and candid as the primary data and research resources that have been published as secondary data. Time data collection was done in January 2019 until June 2019 in the region Barangka district. Data collection is conducted with involved participation techniques, observations, and interviews. Analysesare carried out during collection, reduction, presentation, and conclusions/verification. Data analysis is inductive-qualitative. The results showed that the role falia as of protecting the environment in Barangka district classified into five categories: First, falia as the protection control of forest; Second, falia as the protection control of river; Third, falia as the protection control of sea; Fourth, falia as the protection control of flora; Fifth, falia as the protection control of fauna. In general, falia expression classified in the imperative statements, either command or forbidden.

This study examines the diversity of meanings of the Qama verbs contained in the verses of the Qur'an. This study aims to find out the basic meaning and the extended meaning of the Qama verb. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The object of this research is the verb Qama. Data sources used were Al-Qur'an Manuscripts translated 30 juz, commentaries, and the internet. The data collection technique used is the note taking technique. In this study, the writer collected data from the main source, namely the Al-Qur'an Manuscripts, then the writer recorded the data in the form of sentences containing the meaning of the Qama verb. Data that has been collected, then classified. The results showed that the Qama verbs contained in the Qur'an have 10 different meanings, consisting of 1 basic meaning and 9 extended meanings. The basic meaning of the Qāma verb is to stand, while the meaning of the expansion of the Qāma verb is to carry out, take care of, replace, hold, occur, appear, face, stop, and wake up.
