The talaqqi is a method that is very suitable for beginner children especially those who cannot read well according to their lafad and makhraj. The talaqqi method is applied to make it easier for children to memorize by depositing or playing the memorization that has just been memorized to an instructor teacher to know the increase in memorization of the al-Quran. This article discusses the effectiveness of the talaqqi method in improving the memorization of al-Quran at SDIT Ulul Al-bab Weleri. The result is the implementation of the talaqqi method and the improvement of students' memorization with the highest intensity, which is very good intensity. There is a positive influence between the talaqqi method on the increase in memorization of al-Quran of students There is a significant influence between the talaqqi method and the memorization of al-Quran of students in SDIT Ulul Al-bab Weleri. Keywords: Effectiveness, Talaqqi Method, Al-Qur'an memorization

This study examines whether board diversity affects firm performance. We investigate this study using panel data of a sample of S&P 500 firms during a 12 year period. After controlling for industry, firm size, and other board composition variables, we find that all three board diversity variables of interest – gender, ethnicity, and age have a significant influence on firm performance. While ethnicity and age have a positive influence on firm performance, it was found that gender has a negative influence. Implications for future research are discussed.

This research goal is looking for the effect of natural disaster, climate change, and environment quality to the amount of tourist visit to Indonesia. This research uses panel data from 2014 untill 2017, the data get from the related institutions, and uses multiple regression analysis. This research result: 1) Natural disaster has negative influence and it is not significant to tourist visit to Indonesia, 2) Climate change has positive and significant influence to tourist visit to Indonesia, and 3) Environment quality has positive influence and is not significant to the amount of torist visit to Indonesia.

Agro-processing is becoming more popular and practiced by farmers to reduce post-harvest losses,add value to farm products and increase farm income. This paper presents the small-scale crop farmers’ level of participation in agro-processing in the Gauteng province of South Africa. Data were collected from 255 small-scale crop farmers selected by random sampling using a semi-structured questionnaire.Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS version 23 of 2015)was used to analyse data. Descriptive statistics (in form of percentages) were used to analyse the background characteristics of the farmers,whereas the multinomial logit model was further used to show the level of participationamongst the small-scale crop farmers. With respect to agro-processing, results indicated that 47.1% of the small-scale crop farmers participated partly,40.8% of them participated fully while 12.2% did not participate at all. Results of the multinomial analyses indicated that, educational level(p<0.05), size of the field(p<0.05),distance to the market (p<0.01),and access to credit (p<0.01)had positive significant influence on small-scale crop farmers’choice to participate fully in agro-processing. Gender,regarding male participation (p< 0.05),and age of farmer (p<0.01) had significant influence on farmers’ choice to fully participate in agro-processing. Furthermore, the results of the multinomial analyses showed that size of the field (p<0.01)owned by the farmer and access to credit(p< 0.05)had positive influence on the farmers’choice to participate partly in agro-processing whereas older farmers (p< 0.05),widows (p< 0.1) and farmers with more number of fields(p<0.01) were less likely to participate partly in agro-processing activities. These results have implications for the development of small-scale farmers venturing into agro-processing in the Gauteng province. Young females should be encouraged to join the agricultural sector as they are likely to participate in agro-processing activities which in turn results in improved income and food security at the household level. Furthermore, new agricultural education programmes should be encouraged in the area households as educated farmers are more likely to participate in the value addition activities of agro-processing.

The study aims to examine if employees’ motivation and satisfaction mediated by loyalty can result in company’s advantage. Using 100 young staffs and supervisors in either local or foreign companies in Surabaya, Indonesia as respondents and being tested using regression and path analysis. The simple regressions analysis in the study found that employee’s loyalty is not significant to influence company’s advantage and employee’s satisfaction is not significant to influence employee’s loyalty as well. Employee’s motivation significantly influences loyalty and company’s advantage. Employee’s satisfaction has significant influence to company’s advantage. Multiple regression tests shows that employee’s motivation has positive influence but employee’s satisfaction has negative influence to employee’s loyalty. Both employee’s motivation and employee’s satisfaction have positive influence to company’s advantage. Path analysis has the results that employee’s loyalty is not moderating variables between Employee’s motivation, employee’s satisfaction and company’s advantage.Keywords: motivation, satisfaction, loyalty, company’s advantage Indomaret and Alfamart are the example of a retail business in Indonesia, which is the market leader in their field. Both companies are mini network that provides basic needs and daily necessities. But the problems faced Indomaret and Alfamart are the position of those who are always nearby.These problems is not a barrier for both. This is caused by them are in the same market share, selling products that uniform and is in the center crowds. E-commerce is a growing phenomenon in Africa. One area of e-commerce that is growing at a very fast rate is online retailing. This is despite concerns that individuals often have in relation to online shopping being associated with more risk than traditional retailing. This chapter looks at practices of online retailers that help in mitigating online shopping risk and the influence of these on customers' levels of trust as well as on their intentions to re-purchase from specific online stores. The findings show that provision of adequate online product information and online store security has positive influence on customers' level of trust in an online store. The findings also show that trust in an online store has significant influence on customers' intentions to repurchase from a store. The findings have wide implications on successful management of online store outlets and these have been highlighted in the chapter.

Collaboration in R&D has had a positive influence on the performance of firms, but little is known about its impact on organizational innovation. Therefore, this article analyzes the influence of R&D collaboration on firms' ability to introduce organizational innovation. A quantitative approach was used, based on a sample of 5.079 Portuguese firms from the CIS 2010-Community Innovation Survey 2010. The empirical evidence showed R&D collaboration with clients to be predominant in organizational innovation adoption. Cooperation with competitors, universities and state laboratories has no significant influence. R&D collaboration with other firms within the same group, and with suppliers has a significant positive impact on organizational innovation in the workplace. In addition, collaboration with consultants is significant in business practices and external relations. Several theoretical and practical implications are presented.

The firm value is important because it reflects the performance of the company that affect the perception of investors to the company. The purpose of the study is to determine the effect of profitability, leverage, and liquidity to the firm value. Sampling method used in this research is non-probability sampling approach with purposive sampling technique. The number of samples are 12 companies in the food and beverages sector in Indonesia Stock Exchange 2014-2016. The results showed that simultaneously profitability have significant influence to firm value, leverage have significant influence to firm value, and liquidity have significant influence to firm  value. Partially profitability has a positive influence significantly to  firm value, Leverage has negative influence not significanlyt to firm value, and Liquidity has a positive influence significant to firm value. Abstract Basically students have a positive assumption on the way that the subject teacher uses the way in teaching and delivering materials. Based on the results of the initial research at SMK PGRI 3 Kediri, it is known that the value obtained by students is less than the maximum. Where the learning results obtained by students are still below the minimum completion criteria (KKM) of seventy-five (75). This research aims to know the influence between teacher methods in teaching and the level of independence in students' learning, as well as changes in student learning outcomes in accounting subjects at SMK PGRI 3 Kediri. The research method used in this study is quantitative method with double regression approach. Where the object is a grade X student of 25 students. The results of this study generally showed a positive influence or have a significant influence on the methods and ways used by teachers in teaching, as well as the influence between the independence carried out by students during learning on the results obtained by students in learning in school. Furthermore, students' perception of the methods used by teachers in teaching and showing self-reliance in learning, simultaneously has a positive and significant influence. Non Performing Financing (NPF) and Percentage of Profit Sharing (PBH) indirectly influence the distribution of Musyarakah financing to Islamic banking. NPF occurs because the customer is unable to pay installments from the musyarakah financing that he has received, the inability of the customer to pay monthly installments is due to the percentage of profit sharing that is too high. The phenomenon that has been happening to PT Bank Syariah Mandiri, namely the distribution of funding did not increase significantly due to an increase in NPF. Based on these thoughts, in this study a research question was taken to find out what factors would influence the distribution of funding to PT Bank Syariah Mandiri. Based on this phenomenon, the distribution of Musyarakah Financing to PT Bank Syariah Mandiri can be seen from the percentage of revenue sharing that has increased significantly, while the NPF and Financing have an interrelated relationship. It can be seen from the Financing data from 2012 to 2014 that the increase in financing was very small due to the increasing value of the NPF. The research method used is a quantitative method in which financial statement data taken through the official website www.syariah.mandiri.co.id will be processed through SPSS data. The results of the study are: The development of NPF of Syariah Mandiri Bank during 2012-2014 has fluctuated, where the percentage of NPF sometimes goes up and sometimes goes down, the results of statistical tests show Non Performing Financing (NPF) has a positive and significant influence on the distribution of Musyarakah Financing to Bank Syariah Mandiri. Because the significance value is smaller than 0.05. This indicates an increase and decrease in the amount of Musyarakah financing disbursed is strongly influenced by the NPF. The development of Bank Syariah Mandiri's Production Sharing Percentage (PBH) during 2012-2014 sometimes increased and sometimes decreased, the statistical test results showed that the Production Sharing Percentage (PBH) had a positive influence and had a significant influence on the distribution of Musyarakah Financing to Bank Syariah Mandiri. Because the significance value is smaller than 0.05. Keyword : Non Performing Financing,  Share of Percentage, Musyarakah Financing.   Abstrak Non Performing Financing (NPF) dan Persentase Bagi Hasil (PBH) secara tidak langsung mempengaruhi distribusi pembiayaan Musyarakah ke perbankan syariah. NPF terjadi karena pelanggan tidak mampu membayar cicilan dari pembiayaan musyarakah yang telah ia terima, ketidakmampuan pelanggan untuk membayar cicilan bulanan disebabkan oleh persentase pembagian keuntungan yang terlalu tinggi. Fenomena yang telah terjadi pada PT Bank Syariah Mandiri, yaitu penyaluran dana tidak meningkat secara signifikan karena adanya peningkatan NPF. Berdasarkan pemikiran ini, dalam penelitian ini pertanyaan penelitian diambil untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor apa yang akan mempengaruhi distribusi dana ke PT Bank Syariah Mandiri. Berdasarkan fenomena ini, distribusi Pembiayaan Musyarakah ke PT Bank Syariah Mandiri dapat dilihat dari persentase bagi hasil yang meningkat secara signifikan, sedangkan NPF dan Pembiayaan memiliki hubungan yang saling terkait. Dapat dilihat dari data Pembiayaan 2012-2014 bahwa peningkatan pembiayaan sangat kecil karena meningkatnya nilai NPF. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif dimana data laporan keuangan yang diambil melalui situs resmi www.syariah.mandiri.co.id akan diproses melalui data SPSS. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah: Perkembangan NPF Bank Syariah Mandiri selama 2012-2014 mengalami fluktuasi, dimana persentase NPF terkadang naik dan terkadang turun, hasil uji statistik menunjukkan Non Performing Financing (NPF) memiliki hasil positif. dan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap distribusi Pembiayaan Musyarakah ke Bank Syariah Mandiri. Karena nilai signifikansi lebih kecil dari 0,05. Ini menunjukkan peningkatan dan penurunan jumlah pembiayaan Musyarakah yang disalurkan sangat dipengaruhi oleh NPF. Perkembangan Persentase Bagi Hasil (PBH) Bank Syariah Mandiri selama 2012-2014 terkadang meningkat dan terkadang menurun, hasil uji statistik menunjukkan bahwa Persentase Bagi Hasil (PBH) berpengaruh positif dan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap penyaluran Pembiayaan Musyarakah. ke Bank Syariah Mandiri.
