The present essay, beginning with Catholic press and various authors known in the sector of Missiology, underlines a connection between Song Meiling and Mission in general, particularly the Catholic ones. This work aims at adding a further piece to complete the already well-known Song Meiling’s career, after her marriage to Chiang Kai-shek. Further on, it will be clearly underlined the way she managed to established relationships with representatives of Missions, both Catholic and Protestant, thanks to the reform movement “New Life”, which brought Chinese people closer to Christian values. All this was possible by starting from the family dimension, thus enhancing the link between civil and religious society. Song Meiling’s strong point was the way she promoted social inclusion of the religious confessions, especially of the Catholic Missions, through solidarity initiatives, considering the religious community on the same level as the social community. This was a factor of potential development for the Church in China.

An analysis of the social pedagogical work with difficult children is presented, outlining characteristics, specifics and approaches for prevention and social accompaniment. In order to highlight the specifics of this group of children, a comparison is made with two other groups of children in a situation of life difficulty - "socially disadvantaged children" and "children at risk". The analysis refers to the understanding that difficult children are children with impaired emotional development, difficulty in communicating with others and disrupted behavioral control, all of which can lead to consequences both on a personal and behavioral level. It is emphasized that difficult children turn into such in situations where adults cannot find an adequate approach to them, and most often these adults are members of the family, parents, or teachers. An overview of scientific positions on difficult children by English, American, Russian and Bulgarian researchers is offered. This is the basis for outlining the main spheres which affect children negatively and categorize them as "difficult children" - emotional-personal; learning-cognitive; behavioral; somatic. The reasons for children’s difficult behavior are examined, including: the family and the flaws in it; the lack of spiritual connection between parents and children; the asocial environment; participation in criminal groups; errors in the work of educational institutions; economic difficulties that have influenced all spheres of public life. The characteristics of problem children are presented that account for the formulation of the principles of social pedagogical work with them. It is emphasized that one of the important approaches in the work is the development of skills for social inclusion, social expression and self-assertion. The model for social pedagogical work with difficult children is developed in two aspects: preventive work and social accompaniment. Preventive work consists in constantly informing all stakeholders - teachers, educators, non-pedagogical staff in educational institutions and the family on the opportunities for preventing "difficult children" on the one hand, and ensuring interaction between the participants in the preventive activities as well as striving to attract more organizations and institutions, on the other. The social accompaniment as a social pedagogical work includes: identification of children with difficult behavior at the earliest stage of the disadaptation process, diagnosis of the factors of the difficult behavior and the reasons for the disadvantage, preparation of an individual road map for working with the child, implementation of the individual program for accompanying the child, measuring and analyzing the results of the child's work and his / her close circle.

On the occasion of 100 years of existence and activity of Adam Mickiewicz University in Pozna, one may sum up the contribution of the Faculty of Theology which has existed as part of the uni- versity for 20 years. This contribution has concerned the research and teaching arenas combined with a commitment for the social community of the Wielkopolska province. What is specific of the faculty is its ability to work both on the scientific and didactic levels as well as on the church level, which requires considerable knowledge and time in order to competently combine the requirements of working at university with demands of the Catholic Church managed by the Second Vatican Council. The scientific and popular scientific initiatives in the widely understood biblical studies represent a valuable contribution to the celebration of 100 years of the Pozna university. Like other scientific disciplines, they can proudly make their own contribution to the development of sci- ence in our city, as well as the entire country. One can only hope that the present generation of sci- entists will take the baton passed to them in the relay race of generations, and will make their own contribution to the science thereby honouring Pozna as an important scientific centre in Poland.

Pierre Bourdieu’s Masculine Domination was published in English in 2001, three years after the appearance of the French version. In order to deconstruct in vivo the working of sociological paradigm-alchemy, a close reading of the Bourdieusian argument is offered. After summing up the main thesis of the book, Bourdieu’s statements will be intended to be questioned, according to which the school, the family, the state and the church would reproduce, in the long run, masculine domination. The paper will also seek to identify the methodological trick of the Bourdieusian vision on history, namely that, metaphorically speaking, he compares the streaming river to the riverside cliffs. It will be argued that when Bourdieu discusses ‘the constancy of habitus’, the ‘permanence in and through change’, or the ‘strength of the structure’, he extends his paradigm about the displacement of the social structure to the displacement of the men/women relationship. Hence, it will be suggested that, in opposition to Bourdieu’s thesis, masculine domination is not of universal validity but its structural weight and character have fundamentally changed in the long run, i.e. the masculine habitual centre gradually shifted from a social practice governed by the drives of physical violence to symbolic violence.

Modern seniors who are characterized by good health at the end of their professional activity engage in new forms of activity. Some of them are involved in the activities of universities of the third age, belong to the Family of Radio Maryja, are volunteers or use various forms of religious tourism and pilgrimages. Many manifestations of their activity come from the religiosity of seniors. The growing religiosity of seniors requires a systematic catechesis that helps them in its development. The church emphasizes that this catechesis should be adapted to the situation of a senior. Catechesis helps to read the religious meaning of this stage of life and to strengthen the motivation for Christian presence in the family and environment. Therefore, this catechesis should strengthen religious interest in faith, shape and sustain the motivation of Christian activity, in the Church and in the world. This is reflected in the Christian involvement in family upbringing, in the ecclesial community, for the social good and also in an attractive way of spending free time.

The document develops an analysis of the family situation faced during the last decades in Mexico, particularly in the social transformation and their connection with the heterogeneity of the family groups, based on a series of analytical categories focused on family strategies that point out their daily life, taking up the proposal of Mallardi (2018) around: a) strategies aimed at obtaining subsistence resources, b) strategies linked to the specialized care, c) room strategies linked to the conditions life, d) strategies associated with health-disease processes and e) strategies for socialization, learning and use of free time. These strategies are approached as categories of analysis, for which their operationalization is carried out based on the review and reflection regarding some of the main changes observed during the last decades in Mexico; as well as the way in which these transformations are traversed by a series of social determinants, particularly those of gender and class, as well as their relationship with social policies directed at family groups. The analysis presented, without being exhaustive, shows the way in which the indicated elements and their linkage come to impact the daily life of families during the last decades. In this way, the daily life of family groups shows a series of tensions, ambivalences and contradictions derived to a large extent from the present relationship between the pressures exerted, on the one hand, from the social policy itself implemented and with it the demands and mandates generated from their socio-historical, economic and political context. On the other hand, the growing material and subjective needs of its members, which demand immediate responses that provide the minimum possibilities for the survival of the family group.

This chapter defends the claim that inheritance plays a causal role in enabling or maintaining conditions of economic segregation. This claim is advanced by addressing one reason for doubting its truth, namely that wealth transfers typically occur too late to affect the social position of the recipient. In response, emphasis is placed on the cumulative effects of inheritance rather than its immediate effects on the beneficiaries of wealth transfers. The key idea here is the way the receipt of wealth affects an individual’s ability to exercise partiality towards younger members of the family. It is argued that the unequal distribution of inheritance drives the further differentiation of parenting styles in ways that compound the way valuable nonfinancial capital becomes concentrated into wealthy sectors of the population. This observation is applied in defence of taxing second-generation inheritance (somewhat) more heavily than inheritance from newly accumulated wealth.

A shortage of social capital may hinder sustainable development. According to the “social capital dream” there is a virtuous circle between participation in social networks, trust, and cooperation. It is a promising idea for proponents of sustainability, as it is easier to promote participation than affect social norms. Participation may, however, lead to particularized and not generalized trust, which hinders social inclusion and undermines the idea of a sustainable society. The aim of this paper is to validate the role of participation in informal and formal social networks in enhancing social trust and respect towards others. The relevance of both strong and weak ties is considered. Fixed-effects modeling on three-wave data from a Polish social survey is utilized. An increase in generalized trust corresponds with an increase in the acquaintances network, a decrease in the family and friends network, and an increase in volunteering. A rise in expectations about the cooperativeness of others is enhanced by an increase in the family and friends network, and by volunteering. The lack of respect for some groups of people is not affected by participation in organizations and informal networks. Overall within-person heterogeneity is small, suggesting that possibilities for fostering moral trust by participation are limited.

LABURPENA Lan honek, Nafarroan Requeté erakundea bultzatu zuten pertsonen pentsamendu moduari buruzko ezagutza hobetzea du helburu, karlismoak 1936ko Gerra Zibilean parte hartzeko erabili zuen indar armatua. Horretarako, a.e.t. astekariaren irakurketa zehatza burutzen da, zeinak 1934ko lehengo seihilekoan, haien adierazpen politikoaren organo zentrala izan zen. ABSTRACT The present work seeks to improve the knowledge about the way of thinking of those who promoted the organization of Requeté in Navarra, the armed force with which Carlism participated in the Civil War of 1936. For this, a detailed reading of the weekly a.e.t. is carried out, which, during the first semester of 1934, was its organ of political expression. After its reading, it can be concluded that, among its motivations, there were, mainly, the defense of religion but also the social policy of the Church to solve the serious social crisis of Spain and to face a revolutionary threat, in addition to demanding the «Full foral reintegration» for the different Spanish regions.
