The development of information technology has given the world an influence on education, especially in learning. The role of information technology and information systems in the field of informal education and one of them can be seen in the use of instructional media in the learning space, the utilization of classrooms and academic information system that can facilitate the conduct implementation of academic activities. Binus Center Jakarta is one of the providers of informal education, especially education. Binus Center using information technology in improving quality of learning, there are three things that must be realized that (1) Participants and the instructor must have access to digital technology and the Internet in classrooms (2) Available materials quality and meaningful, and (3) Instructors must have knowledge and skills in using the tools and digital resources to help participants to achieve quality learning. This study aimed to see whether the implementation of information systems / information technology (IS / IT) affects the quality of learning in non-formal education, using case studies on Jakarta Binus Center Special Class program in particular. This study uses qualitative research methodology with inferential statistical analysis to describe correlation of information systems implementation to quality learning. Keywords: Implementation of IT / SI, Quality Learning.

The purpose of this study was to determine the role of academic information systems in improving the quality of higher education implementation in PGRI STKIP Bangkalan, and the extent to which the policies of implementing higher education before and after the use of information systems and how satisfaction is felt by students towards academic information systems at STKIP PGRI Bangkalan, named STKIP PGRI Bangkalan’s Siakad. The study was conducted by conducting a survey of users of the internet-based academic information system (Siakad STKIP PGRI Bangkalan), namely lecturers, students and employees with the method of observation and conducting in-depth interviews to obtain as much information as possible from all respondents/informants. The number of informants was 5 people consisting of the chairman of STKIP PGRI Bangkalan, Vice Chairman I, Head of BAAK and two students who had experience in their respective fields of work, knew deeply and had many roles in the process of using information systems.Based on the results of the study, it was shown that with the use of the information system/ STKIP PGRI Bangkalan’s Siakad which is one of the facilities for the smooth activities of the teaching and learning process, it proved to provide convenience, many benefits and benefits that greatly support the duties of serving lecturers, students and outsiders requiring. This is evidenced by the support of the support of lecturers and students, capacity, namely the ability of employees to process data and value, namely the benefits felt by lecturers, employees and students as well as outside parties in need.

Information technology implementation is an intervention we make in order to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of a sociotechnical system. Using microcomputers to help individuals perform their jobs and tasks is one of the most important actions we take when implementing this technology effectively. Information systems effectiveness has been extensively studied using, mainly, user satisfaction and quality of information constructs to evaluate users’ acceptability (Iivari & Ervasti, 1994; Ives et al., 1983; Neumann & Segev, 1979). However, sometimes, the result of this intervention is not successful and may even generate difficulties related to people participation in the process. This leaves us with a question: What motivates individuals to use microcomputer technology in their daily activities? Theorists and empirical researchers have been trying to understand the relevant motivators for the implementation and use of computer technology based on the idea that people make an effort if an activity is enjoyable or offers external rewards (Igbaria et al., 1996; Schwartz, 1983). They have been aiming to find out how individuals feel motivated to work with computers, and what motivates them to use computers in their daily activities.

Information technology (IT) has radically improved many aspects of organisational activities. Computer-based information systems (CBIS) are constantly developed more effective and efficient. Development of a new CBIS is justified by higher quality of work, more efficient work processes, and more flexible work practices. However, introduction of the new IS can produce a variety of problems. This paper describes the problems observed in the use of a library CBIS in a Finnish scientific library. The results of the study illustrate well the environment which should be understood by the designers of computer-based information systems. One important prerequisite of good (re)design is a wide understanding of the problems that may prevent effective use of a CBIS. In this study we introduce a classification based on the problems which were found in the case. The classification describes the causes and effects of the observed problems.

Academic information systems are designed to manage academic-related data using computer technology. The quality of the information system helps provide satisfaction for the organization and increases competitiveness, providing added value to STMIK Widuri. To measure the success of a system can apply the success model of Delone and McLean. By testing the system using DeLone and McLean it is known that the STMIK Widuri academic information system as a whole has a good quality system and scores 81.63%.

The purpose of this study is to (1) analyze the quality of learning during the pandemic, and (2) to analyze learning constraints during the pandemic. This research uses qualitative descriptive research methods. The use of qualitative descriptive methods in the study aimed to describe phenomena that focused on interrelationships between activities. The sampling technique is done by purposive sampling, which is based on provinces that have high cases of covid 19 in Indonesia. The quality of learning decreases because students do not have learning motivation. Many of the obstacles experienced during learning related to school unpreparedness relate to aspects of learning evaluation and affective. The quality of learning during the pandemic is largely determined by the optimization of information technology.

The application of information technology is currently widely used by agencies in carrying out various operational activities. This study tries to apply the PIECES Framework to the analysis of information systems. To implement it, it is necessary to test responses from users on an information system. The system to be tested is the information system of Mako Battalion 131 Braja Sakti. The information system used to support the performance of soldiers where the responsible in this case is part of the operations staff. In their service, the operations staff  collect data from each company. The data is inputted into the online-based ANEV DATA system. The system will later be used in processing soldier certification data. PIECES focuses on 6 focus areas of analysis, namely performance, information and data, economy, control and security, efficiency, and service. The purpose of this study is the application of the PIECES Framework in analyzing the quality of the implementation of information systems to ensure the success targeted by the operations staff. This study uses interviews and observations as well as the distribution of questionnaires as a method of data collection. The results of this study indicate that the use of ANEV Data as an information system to improve performance gets an average result at the Performance level of 5.20, information and data level of 4.76, economic indicator level of 5.20, Control indicator level of 4.85, and efficiency level of 4.16. and service satisfaction of 7.16. The value of the operation staff is very satisfied using the ANEV Data information system.

The development of information technology that very rapidly, have an impact transformation on various aspects of life. One of the growing information technology and widely implemented is a web-based information systems. Implementation of a web-based information system currently does not just present the information in text form, but also displays the information in the form of a map. In the terms of its utilization, application of GIS technology can be widely used in various fields, including in the health field. This can be used in the presentation of information dissemination of healthy facilities in the city of Padang. Information Systems for mapping Healthy Facilities in Padang City is a tool to convey information distribution healthy facilities that exist in Padang. This information system is designed with the PHP programming language and MySQL database as data storage. To display the digital maps, Google Maps is used because it has the APIs that can be integrated with multiple technologies. The presence of this information system is expected to provide facilities for those who need information about healthy facilities in Padang City. Keywords: Information System,Healthy Facilities, Google Maps, PHP, MySQL.
