Coronavirus disease (2019) or what we usually call COVID-19 has had a significant impact on all sectors, including the education sector. The transition from traditional or face-to-face teaching to an online teaching system. Has given a lot of homework for teachers, they have to work hard to be able to adapt quickly to the changes. In addition, this online learning process places a heavy burden on teachers. This makes teachers stressed and affects teacher performance. This study aims to describe the problems faced by teachers seen from the teacher's self-efficacy during teaching using the online method. 40 teachers participated in this study, where they were asked to fill out a teacher self-efficacy scale (TSE) to measure their self-efficacy. The results showed that there was a significant decrease in the self-efficacy of senior teachers when teaching using the online method

The COVID-19 pandemic that has recently hit various countries including Indonesia has resulted in major changes in various fields, including in the development of the education sector. The teaching and learning process has turned from face-to-face into an online method. However, there are several obstacles experienced by schools that implement an online learning system, one of them was the ability of teachers who do not understand various learning application platforms. In addition, the material provided by the teacher is not maximally acceptable to students because most teachers provide learning material from the pages of textbooks or teacher writings (scans, photos, or presentation files). For this reason, it is necessary to have variations in the provision of teaching materials to students by making interesting and creative learning videos using the Movavi Education Set. With learning videos, students can do lessons at home, repeat it, and can ask the teacher some points from it if they don't understand. By using Movavi Education Set, teachers are also free to be creative in making learning videos that can be shared through commonly used communication applications such as e-mail, WhatsApp, line, google classroom and other applications.

The sophisticated information and technology (IT) development can be the answer for various problems post the covid-19 pandemic, particularly the teaching and learning challenges. The role of IT that is booming nowadays is online learning. Online learning is obviously different from regular learning. In this mode of learning, the students are required to have the ability to receive and process information. It serves as media that connect teachers and students who are being remote from one another at any time and anyplace. There are various media utilized to perform online learning such as WhatsApp, Google Meet, Zoom, Google Classroom, and other e-learning platforms. Among all these media, though, WhatsApp apparently appointed as the simplest and easiest media to access in all levels of education. Online learning at current is the effective medium to carry on the teaching and learning process in all levels of education. For the effectiveness of online teaching and learning process during the covid-19 pandemic, there have been a number of learning models suggested by the expert such as remote learning, face to face learning, e-learning, project-based learning, and Blended Learning.

The Impact

-The virus Covid-19 has caused enough trouble for the whole world for nearly a year, ever since it first emerged in Wuhan, China, in December 2019. All areas of life are affected in a way or more, especially the education sector. Learning process shifting to be online at home, and it is now commonly referred to as online learning. Despite the now regulated way of learning, debates regarding the effectiveness of online learning are widely circulated. Thus, the purpose of this study is to investigate the effectiveness of online learning, and whether it has positively or negatively impacted the students in any way. The result shows that online learning really has significantly positively impacted students’ performance. Their learning achievement, self-efficacy, as well as learning motivation have shown to be greatly affected by this way of learning. The sources of impacts come from the way the learning materials are delivered, how the class is held, and the educators themselves. The teaching and learning process has a big revolution since Corona Virus Disease 19 (COVID19) has spread out to the world. Education is one of the sectors that have a mostly big impact on its condition. COVID 19 changes everything in the education system. The teaching and learning process which do face to face must be changed to an online system. Thus, in this research, the researchers want to identify the teacher’s challenges for doing online teaching and learning. The researchers also describe the strength and weaknesses of online learning based on teachers’ perceptions. This research used a qualitative approach because the researchers describe teacher challenges toward online learning and the easiness and the difficulties of online learning in the pandemic era. The participants of this research were 14 English teachers from a different level of education in South Kalimantan. The instruments used in this study consisted of 12 open-ended questionnaires made online using Google form. The result of the questionnaire that has filled out by the participants recorded in the researcher’s email, then based on this result the researchers describe the findings and related it to the relevant theory. The findings of this research are most of the teachers agree that the challenges to applying online learning are in facilitation such as internet connection, quota, the places of home living, and the process of online learning itself such as the teacher’s less in technology for designing interesting online learning activities, less communicative, lack of interaction, and fostering an effective online learning climate and for the strength and the weakness of online learning activities most of the teachers agree that the strength of online learning is flexible in time and place, thus the teaching and learning can conduct everywhere and anytime, for the weakness the teacher agree that online learning can’t conduct maximal pedagogy process in learning activities.  Keywords: teacher, challenges, online learning, pandemic era

Pandemi COVID-19 menuntut sektor pendidikan untuk melakukan berbagai perubahan maupun inovasi dan adaptasi demi pelaksanaan proses pembelajaran tetap berjalan baik. Pandemi COVID-19 mendorong sektor pendidikan terutama perguruan tinggi untuk melakukan perubahan pada model proses pembelajaran dimana proses pembelajaran berpindah dari pembelajaran konvensional atau tatap muka di kelas menjadi pembelajaran online atau daring. Dengan demikian, tenaga pengajar yaitu dosen dan mahasiswa harus siap beradaptasi dan menghadapi terobosan maupun tantangan baru terhadap perubahan sistem dalam  pembelajaran yang diterapkan perguruan tinggi. Learning Management System (LMS) adalah salah satu cara yang digunakan oleh perguruan tinggi untuk mendukung dan mengelola pembelajaran secara online agar proses belajar mengajar tetap berjalan dengan baik selama pandemic COVID-19. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode semi deskriptif   kuantitatif. Dimana tujuan  dalam  penelitian ini adalah untuk  menjelaskan pemanfaatan Learning Management System sebagai media pembelajaran online yang digunakan selama pandemic COVID-19. Aplikasi Learning Management System seperti Google Classroom, Edmodo, Moodle, serta SEVIMA Edlink dan LMS yang dikembangkan oleh perguruan tinggi maupun yang disediakan oleh pemerintah sangat bermanfaat sebagai media pembelajaran online atau daring selama pandemi COVID-19. Dimana dengan aplikasi LMS ini, sistem pembelajaran dan komunikasi tetap berjalan dengan baik dengan memanfaatkan fasilitas yang tersedia dalam aplikasi LMS tersebut.   Kata kunci: komponen; Learning Mangement System, Pembelajaran Online, COVID-19   Abstract: The COVID-19 pandemic requires the education sector to make various changes and innovations and adaptations for the implementation of the learning process to continue. The COVID-19 pandemic encouraged the education sector, especially universities, to make changes to the learning process model where the learning process moves from conventional or face-to-face learning in the classroom to online or online learning. Thus, faculty, lecturers and students must be ready to adapt and face breakthroughs and new challenges to the system changes in learning implemented by universities. Learning Management System (LMS) is one of the ways used by universities to support and manage online learning so that the teaching learning process continues well during the COVID-19 pandemic. The research method used in this study is a semi-descriptive quantitative method. Where the purpose in this study is to explain the utilization of Learning Management System as an online learning medium used during the COVID-19 pandemic. Learning Management System applications such as Google Classroom, Edmodo, Moodle, and SEVIMA Edlink and LMS developed by universities as well as provided by the government are very useful as online or online learning media during the COVID-19 pandemic. Where with this LMS application, the learning and communication system continues to run properly by utilizing the facilities available in the LMS application.   Keywords: Learning Mangement System, Online Learning, COVID-19

The COVID-19 pandemic has had a profound impact on all areas of life, including education. The education system, which was originally face-to-face, had to be replaced with online learning. Various problems arise related to the implementation of the Distance Learning or PJJ system. This system makes parents have to participate more in supervising as well as being a substitute for teachers at home in the learning process of their children. In addition, homeschooling also raises problems where students find it difficult to understand the material given by the teacher. The decrease in enthusiasm for learning becomes a problem when the PJJ system seems monotonous and boring. To support the government's program in breaking the chain of the spread of COVID-19 without reducing the effectiveness of online learning implemented by the Ministry of Education and Culture, this activity was carried out. This activity is expected to help reduce the anxiety of parents who are afraid that their children are not serious and have difficulty in learning. In addition, it is hoped that this activity will help participants to easily understand the material that has not been mastered. The methods of socialization, demonstration, and mentoring are carried out directly. The success of this activity can be seen from the assistance of the participants in solving the problems faced and the enthusiasm of the participants during the activity.

Learning in the era of the Covid-19 pandemic has undergone a fundamental change from a face-to-face learning process to online-based learning to minimize the transmission of the Covid-19 virus. Online learning is basically a learning model with internet technology media, so that the learning process can be carried out even though it is in different places. The research method in this research is qualitative research by describing the online learning management process that is carried out at SMP LAB UKSW. The instruments in this research include observation sheets, student opinion questionnaires, and interview guides. The results showed that the online learning process applies management principles which include planning, organizing, implementing and controlling. The results of student and teacher opinions show that online learning has a positive perception of 83%. The results of the interview showed that the students felt that they were well facilitated by the online learning process that was conducted at SMP LAB UKSW.

The Covid-19 pandemic has led to policies that make teachers and students have to adapt the face-to-face learning model to online learning. The teacher of SD N 2 Cakranegara admits that there are limitations to the variety of audio-visual learning media used. The teachers also don't know and have never tried to develop game games with learning content, even though Android-based games are very possible to be developed and accessed portable on smartphones, the majority of which are already owned by teachers and students. The provision of workshops and assistance in making Android-based educational games for SD N 2 Cakranegara teachers aims to improve skills in creating and developing learning media in the form of educational games and maximizing the use of smartphones. Transitioning from a face-to-face teaching environment to online teaching requires a shift in paradigm by stakeholders involved (i.e., instructors and students). This chapter provides an extensive literature review to help novice online instructors understand the nature of online teaching presence to help position their students towards more active participation. Premised on the Community of Inquiry framework (Garrison, Anderson & Archer, 2000) and constructivism, we highlight a conceptual framework of four iterative processes for developing online teaching presence: preparations for facilitation, designing the facilitation, implementing the facilitation, and assessing the facilitation. Based on this framework, strategies are articulated for overcoming the challenges of online learning through shared stakeholder responsibility.
