Within this study, we want to examine factors those determine to the rise of womenpreneurship, since it is one of the most important 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development to eradicate national poverty as well as to support the innovation and ever-growing economy. The increasing of women's participation in entrepreneurs demonstrated positive impact of female entrepreneurs, not only on the family but also on economic growth and development. We build our theoretical framework based on literature surveys; that factors of an inspiring role model, education on digital skills, and financial support, which taken from Theory of Planned Behaviour (TPB), contribute to this increasing of womenpreneurship participation. As far as we have known, we are among the first who establish the study focused on women entrepreneurs, especially among the B40 economic social class. We employ a quantitative approach of Multiple Regression Linear Analysis with a convenience sample, comprising 100 women entrepreneurs in Melaka. We find that women entrepreneurs with clear targets, would not only possess the right attitude in their entrepreneurial path, but also become the society role models at the same time. Also, when facing the social pressure, womenpreneurs will equip themselves with proper education to grasp more opportunities. Even though limited by the participation rate, especially those in the rural areas, we would like to make recommendations on ways to encourage more women to pursue entrepreneurship, especially during the Covid-19 outbreak.

With the impetus on entrepreneurial development in semi-urban and rural areas to solve the threatening unemployment crisis, women entrepreneurs have a major role to play. Women are found equally capable and given the right encouragement and support, they are bound to contribute in abundance towards the upliftment of the small scale and tiny sector.

Purpose This paper aims to explore the motivational factors and contextual facilitators of female entrepreneurs in Vietnam’s coffee industry and also the barriers facing them. Design/methodology/approach This study adopts the grounded theory approach, using semi-structured in-depth interviews with 31 women entrepreneurs in the coffee industry in the rural Central Highlands of Vietnam. Findings This study found that necessity-driven factors play an important role in motivating female entrepreneurs to advance their careers. However, these factors may be transformed into the opportunity-driven motives. Furthermore, the findings suggest that Asia’s collectivism culture and family support significantly affect the success of the women entrepreneurs, although gender inequality is not perceived as a serious constraint in entrepreneurial activities. Research limitations/implications This study has implications for the literature of women entrepreneurs regarding motivations and contextual influences in agricultural and rural areas of Vietnam. However, the sample size is relatively small which limits the concept generation of the study. For further research, a larger sample size with different business sectors should be considered to generate more explicit findings. Practical implications The findings from this study can assist the policymakers in developing strategies and governmental policies to support the career advancement of women entrepreneurs and improving gender equality in Vietnam. Originality/value This study contributes to the literature about understanding the motives and the roles of socioeconomic contexts in women’s entrepreneurial activities in agricultural and rural areas.

It is a generally accepted belief, affirmed in the media, that professional Black male basketball players from the National Basketball Association serve as role models for young Black males. Very little empirical evidence, however, is available about how the young men think about these relationships. Using the concept of role model from social learning theory as a lens, I analyze interview data drawn from a convenience sample of 19 young Black men who participated in high school basketball to investigate the idea of “professional Black male basketball players as role models.” I find that young men do not necessarily accept the “good/bad” role-model dichotomy presented in the media, but rather, they are discerning in their acceptance and rejection of certain role-model attitudes and behaviors.

Pastor is an ordinary human being just like any other human being, but what makes him different is that he can be a solution provider for problems faced by many people. So to be a pastor of the church is a calling that must be accompanied by abilities that complement it in carrying out its duties. In carrying out its duties and functions, an example is needed. To be an example must be faced with suffering which is accompanied by patience. The pastor of the church as a head must have an example both spiritually and also family. One of the criteria for the pastor's role model is his patience. Using a literature approach, this paper presents the patience that pastors need to have as role models for their congregations. The conclusion shows that patience is seen in facing difficult things, in achieving goals, in receiving Allah's instruction, and in suffering. Patience is a gift from God that enables every believer to be able to recognize the right decisions and act correctly in the face of suffering.

The ever-expanding changes times have an impact on many people even more on the lives of Christian teens. The teenage phase is a pretty hard time to deal with because of many influences around both positive and negative. This phase is also in which a person’s mind begins to form and depends on the circumstances surrounding them. This study aims to provide an overview of the self-concept of Christian teens in the face of changing times that continue to develop. Researches use a literature study approach to find the main picture of the research in question. The results showed that Christian youth in facing the changing times needed God’s wisdom in this world and needed to be followed by the right example of life. In addition, it is necessary to present the right figures and be the right role models, both from parents and the church (youth servants, servants of God/pastors) so that there is a role model for adolescents who help them live a wiser and more responsible life even if it occurs changing times that have their own impact.

Purpose The purpose of this study is to explore the potential of coaching to develop female entrepreneurship by overcoming potential barriers. It sought to understand how entrepreneurial self-efficacy can be applied to development relationships, through on-line coaching, examining changes in the four key elements of entrepreneurial self-efficacy enactive mastery, vicarious experiences, social persuasion and psychological arousal. The study examines the impact of coaching relationships on female entrepreneurial self-efficacy compared to a control group. The participant group was matched with coaches and undertook a structured six months’ coaching programme. Design/methodology/approach This was a longitudinal study using a mixed methods approach. Questionnaires investigating entrepreneurial self-efficacy were collected at two time points for both the coaching and control group. After the first time point, the coaching group was supported through a six months coaching development programme. At the second time point, questionnaires were again completed by both groups and qualitative data gather via interviews with the coaching group. Findings The findings from this study showed that coaching relationships had a positive impact on coachees’ entrepreneurial self-efficacy, compared to the control group in terms of enactive mastery, vicarious experience, social persuasion and psychological arousal. This suggests that coaching is a development intervention which can be used to enhance self-efficacy beliefs of female entrepreneurs, thereby increasing their chances of engaging in successful business creation and operation. Research limitations/implications The group size was a problem, with four of the coaching group and ten of the control group dropping out. The coaching participants left the intervention due to personal reasons but no reason could be established for the control group participants leaving the study. The problem of ‘Type II’ was considered and in an attempt to overcome this problem, data were shown at below 10% (p < 0.10). It would also have been useful to collect more qualitative data from the control group. Practical implications An online coaching programme provided by women for women, which is tailored to the individual, can support female entrepreneurs through the difficult stages of start-up and development phases of business development. Creating more successful women owned businesses will not only provide financial benefits, but should help provide additional entrepreneurial networks for women, as well as more positive female role models. Exposure to positive role models has been found to have a direct effect on entrepreneurial self-efficacy. This circular affect should in theory keep on increasing, if female entrepreneurs have access to the tailored support provided by coaching programmes such as the one used here. Social implications Considering the current global economic climate, it is increasingly important for women to be supported in small business ownership (Denis, 2012). Countries which actively promote women entering into business ownership will ultimately share the gains in terms of wider issues, i.e. improving education and health, and economic growth (Harding, 2007). If female entrepreneurship is to be encouraged and supported, provision needs to be designed and developed based on female entrepreneurs’ needs and requirements, rather than simply conforming to traditional business support models. Originality/value This study contributes to learning and theoretical debates by providing an understanding of female entrepreneurs' needs with regard to business support and how this can be related to and supported by coaching. It also adds to the literature on entrepreneurial self-efficacy, coaching and learning by providing empirical evidence to illustrate how coaching interventions, including the use of online methods, can have a positive impact on female entrepreneurial self-efficacy.

Purpose – This purpose of this paper is to discuss how experiential design can provide a basis for museums’ branding strategies in order to attract visitors, particularly those visitors with a low involvement with museums. Design/methodology/approach – The authors first analyze the experiential motives that museums should consider as relevant in attracting potential visitors. Consequently, the authors examine effects of experiential design on the participants’ behavior and attitudes, which are relevant for achieving branding objectives and institutional objectives of museums. In an experiment, using computer simulations, the authors tested the effects of an experiential vsus a non-experiential museum design on potential, especially low-involved participants. Findings – The results of the experiment show a positive impact of the multidimensional experiential design on low-involved participants concerning branding relevant behavior, such as loyalty and perceived differentiation. There is also a positive influence on institutional goals such as perceiving the museum as role model and a positive change of attitude toward museums in general. Research limitations/implications – Because of the virtual character of the examined museum the results show only a tendency for potential behavior of real museum visitors. Future studies should test the effects of experience design for a real museum with a distinct brand profile. Practical implications – The study reveals that once in a museum, potential visitors with a low involvement can be addressed by a museum design that appeals to their experiential motives and which, at the same time, communicates a differentiated brand profile of the museum. Following the visit, this impression can help to overcome barriers in terms of further museum visits and stimulate positive word-of-mouth advertising to other potential visitors. Social implications – The results suggest that from a global perspective, experience inducing museums can become role models for other museums, thus altering the image, expectations, and attitude of potential visitors with low-involvement toward museums as social institutions. Originality/value – For the first time the explicit effects of a strategic experiential museum design on potential visitors are analyzed in terms of relevant branding and institutional objectives of museums.

Indonesia is ranked in 117 out of 175 from the most corrupt countries in the world. The corruption phenomenon can be analyzed from the individual micro elements. In a person's life, there are people considered as a role model / anti-corruption figures. Considering that one could not control his desire, he tends to justify any way for his pleasure. It might be said that self-control is closely related to religiosity. In fact, corruption not only happens in official governors, but also in university students. It is ironic when we compare it with the ideal expectations of the community toward students as the future generation. The purpose of this research is to know the influence of role models and religiosity toward anti-corruption behavior. Quota Sampling is used to collect the data ( 440 students from nine universities in East Java) and moderated regression analysis (MRA) is utilised to analyze them. The result shows that the religiosity variable can not moderate independence and dependence variables. Nevertheless, role models have a significant effect to predict anti-corruption behavior by 12.7%. Of four role model figures, teacher/lecturer figure has the largest contribution by 12,7% toward anti-corruption behavior. Unfortunately, this figure is considered having low anti-corruption behaviour by their student. The result of this research would be recommendation for the government to find the right agent to prevent and intervene corruption behavior and for the students to choose the right figure in fostering anti-corruption behaviour.

Differences between male and female entrepreneurs provide compelling reasons to study the latter separately. Especially in rural areas, research shows that women are a remarkable and unexplored source of the labor force. Nevertheless, few researchers have examined rural women and the issues pertaining to their entrepreneurship separately. The contribution of this study to the debate of women entrepreneurship is the closer examination of women in Greek rural areas. This research aims to examine factors that must be considered independently with recognition to the variances of rural areas with different geomorphologic and economic profiles. The characteristics of women entrepreneurship in Greek rural areas and the women's motives for the undertaking of the entrepreneurial activity are used to identify a typology of women entrepreneurs in the Greek countryside.
