Teaching and learning activities, especially in Higher Education, from time to time develop along with the development of technology, especially information technology. Initially, the teaching and learning activities at the Faculty of Science and Technology of the Buddhist Dharma University (FST-UBD) used a manual system in the form of face-to-face class. The system (for several courses and meetings) developed into distance learning (e-learning) where lecturers and students did not meet in teaching and learning activities in the classroom but through the internet media. This distance learning system uses computer or laptop facilities. The e-learning system was developed into a mobile learning system, which is a distance learning system using an Android-based smartphone. In the mobile learning system, lecturers can provide lecture material and assignments to students. Students can view lecture material via cellphone and can download the material. Students can submit assignments to lecturers via cellphone. The University can provide information about the seminar to be held. Students can choose the seminar to be followed and can register for the seminar via cellphone. This application system can be run well and can help facilitate the process of teaching and learning activities for lecturers and students. Lecturers can upload material and assignments for students. Students can view / download material and submit assignments to the lecturer. The university can provide information about the seminar and the seminar registration process.

The application of technology in education is being developed very intensively today, especially the use of technology to support the teaching and learning process. The transfer of conventional learning methods such as face-to-face in the classroom towards a modern direction such as distance learning using computer-based systems or smartphones (Mobile Learning) has become a common thing implemented in today's education world. But not all educational institutions implement the same thing as MI Taufiqul Athfal Bogor. The purpose of this study was to design and implement a distance learning system based on android with smartphone media (Mobile Learning) to help MI Taufiqul Athfal Bogor in the teaching and learning process. The research method used is the Research & Development (R&D) method. System testing was carried out using the ISO 9126 method by distributing questionnaires to 20 respondents who were teachers at MI Taufiqul Athfal. The test results with four aspects of ISO 9126, namely aspects of Fuctionality, Reliability, Usability, and Efficiency produce an overall Actual Total score, namely Total% Actual of 90%, thus concluding that the quality of the system is Very Good to implement. The final result of this research is an Andiroid-based Mobile Learning system designed by researchers which is implemented very well at MI Taufiqul Athfal and helps support the distance teaching and learning process.

The article presents the experience of mass organization of distance learning in organizations of secondary general and vocational education in March—May 2020 in connection with the difficult epidemiological situation in Russia. The possibilities of the 1C:Education system for organizing the educational process in a distance format, the peculiarities of organizing distance interaction in schools and colleges are considered, the results of using the system are summarized, examples of the successful use of the system in specific educational organizations are given. Based on the questionnaire survey of users, a number of capabilities of the 1C:Education system have been identified, which are essential for the full-fledged transfer of the educational process from full-time to distance learning. The nature and frequency of the use of electronic educational resources in various general education subjects in schools and colleges are analyzed, the importance of the presence in the distance learning system not only of a digital library of ready-made educational materials, but also of tools for creating author’s content is assessed. On the basis of an impersonal analysis of user actions in the system, a number of problems were identified that teachers and students faced in the process of an emergency transition to distance learning.

The article considers an issue of information security of the distance education systems. It analyzes the functions and architecture of the typical distance education system. With considering the requirements of information security it also discusses the university information system for solving the distance learning problems. The author defines valuable assets and information resources and describes the existing security threats. The subjects of interaction in the distance learning mode are presented. There is a consideration of the principal directions of the university’s activity in the distance learning system, requiring constant monitoring of information security. A threat model is worked out and the main security vulnerabilities are highlighted. The analysis of the causes and consequences of information security violation in the distance learning system is carried out and most vulnerable and critical nodes were identified. The hardware and software requirements for the remote mode work are regarded. A recommended list of hardware and software tools that ensure compliance with safety requirements is presented. The major lines of protection for distance learning systems are highlighted. The article proves the necessity of conducting a regular security assessment as a means for monitoring an effectiveness of the protection system.

The quality of the distance learning courses is largely influenced by competently prepared educational resources and an effective study support system. One of the possible ways to improve distance learning infrastructure and increase its effectiveness is to extend the architecture of present e‐learning systems by the components for adaptable and sustainable learning. This research work is devoted to developing the service‐oriented distance learning environment adaptable to the user's needs. The proposed adaptable communication environment of distance learning is constructed by integration of new components of communication scenarios generation, adaptable for student's goals, multilayered domain ontology of learning subject and forming intelligent agents’ framework possible. The paper presents the knowledge‐based component architecture of the distance learning system, which enables a better adaptation of learning resources to students. The paper analyses the possibilities of integrating ontology into the e‐learning system. The issues of decomposing ontology into different levels of understanding are discussed in order to adapt to learner's tasks and goals. A conceptual approach is proposed for extending the existing distance learning system architecture by intelligent and deeper knowledge layers. Santrauka Nuotolinių studijų kokybė daugiausia priklauso nuo kompetentingai parengtų mokomųjų priemonių ir veiksmingai veikiančios studijų paramos sistemos. Ieškant priemonių, kaip pagerinti nuotolinių studijų sistemos infrastruktūrą ir padidinti jos darbo efektyvumą, nagrinėjamos galimybės praplėsti tradicinės nuotolinio mokymo sistemos architektūrą komponentėmis, kurios leistų išplėtoti adaptuotą ir darnų mokymosi procesą. Šio tyrimo uždaviniai skirti paslaugoms, skirtoms išvystyti nuotolinio mokymo aplinką. Siekiant sukurti tinkamą kompiuterizuotą bendradarbiavimo aplinką, lanksčiai prisitaikoma prie kintančių vartotojo poreikių studijų procese. Architektūra projektuojama integruojant naujas komponentes bendravimo scenarijams generuoti, daugelio lygių dalykinės srities ontologijai naudoti ir sudarant sąlygas automatizuotam intelektinių agentų bendravimui. Straipsnyje nagrinėjamos galimybės integruoti dalykinės srities ontologiją į tradicinės nuotolinio mokymo sistemos aplinką. Ontologijos detalizavimo pagal studento supratimo lygmenis klausimai nagrinėjami siekiant pateikti koncepcinį tokios nuotolinės adaptuotos sistemos darbo modelį.

Mobile learning is e-learning delivered through mobile computing devices, which represents the next stage of computer-aided, multi-media based learning. Therefore, mobile learning is transforming the way of traditional education. However, as most current e-learning systems and their contents are not suitable for mobile devices, an approach for mobile devices to adapt to e-learning is presented. To provide device-independence mobile learning services, a context-aware mobile learning approach is proposed. Firstly, the formal definitions of contexts and their influence on mobile learning services, including device contexts NCxt, matrix of information transmission parameters S, the degree of influence of the context NCxt on information transmission parameters Q, and adaptation coefficient E, are given. By using this approach, the mobile learning system is constructed. In an example using this approach, the authors detect the contextual environment of mobile computing and adapt the mobile learning services to the learners’ devices automatically.

This Research is a qualitative research that aims to determine the benefits of using E-Learning Madrasas as a medium of distance Learning when the Covid 19 pandemic in MAN Insan Scholar Kendari City. The results show that Madrasah E-learning is able to accommodate the needs of teachers and students in distance learning in the Covid 19 pandemic ranging from planning to evaluation, also facilitating the process of monitoring teacher performance in teaching and learning activities. Even Though there is no learning in the classroom as usual the teacher can still deliver learning material to students through the Madrasah E-Learning application. Students can also access learning material and still have an assessment of learning outcomes and end of semester assessment. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that Madrasah E-Learning can be a good medium for distance Learning. As for the obstacles that are still being experienced are Internet networks that have not been stable in certain areas in remote Indonesia.

Abstrak: Teknologi modern semakin pesat perkembangannya, sebagai masyarakat kita dapat merasakan hal positif dari perkembangan teknologi modern, salah satunya adalah internet. Memanfaatkan internet dengan hal positif dapat mempermudah kegiatan masyarakat, seperti dalam bidang pendidikan salah satunya adalah kegiatan belajar mengajar. Dengan adanya kegiatan belajar mengajar dapat menambah wawasan dan ilmu pengetahuan bagi masyarakat, akan tetapi terkadang pelajar bahkan pengajar yang melaksanakan kegiatan belajar mengajar tersebut terlalu terkekang oleh waktu dan peraturan yang berlaku pada tempat belajarnya. Hasil permasalahan yang penulis dapatkan pada kegiatan belajar mengajar konvensional adalah diharuskannya meluangkan waktu untuk pergi ke tempat belajar dan juga ditentukan durasi belajar mengajarnya bahkan diadakan peraturan yang terkadang membuat peserta sampai pengajar tidak nyaman dengan peraturan tersebut. Oleh karena itu penulis tertarik untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan tersebut dengan membuat sistem informasi pembelajaran (e-learning) dengan metode learner-led learning berbasis web yang dapat diakses dimanapun dan kapanpun tanpa mengeluarkan biaya dan tidak terkekang oleh waktu. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat membantu dalam proses belajar mengajar dengan nyaman. Website ini juga menyediakan fasilitas seperti materi yang bersifat video dan artikel yang bertujuan bagi pelajar yang lebih nyaman belajar dengan video interaktif dan juga tersedia fasilitas sertifikat sebagai bukti bahwa pelajar telah berhasil dalam menyelesaikan soal dari materi yang dipelajarinya.   Kata kunci: pelajar, pembelajaran daring, pengajar, sistem pembelajaran, website   Abstract: Modern technology is growing rapidly, as a society we can feel positive things from the development of modern technology, one of which is the internet. Using the internet with positive things can facilitate community activities, such as in the field of education, one of which is teaching and learning activities. With teaching and learning activities, it can add insight and knowledge to the community, but sometimes students and even teachers who carry out teaching and learning activities are too constrained by time and the regulations that apply to the place of study. The results of the problems that the authors get in conventional teaching and learning activities are that they are required to take the time to go to the place of study and also determine the duration of teaching and learning and even make regulations that sometimes make participants until the teacher is not comfortable with these rules. Therefore, the authors are interested in solving these problems by creating a learning information system (e-learning) with a web-based learner-led learning method that can be accessed anywhere and anytime without incurring costs and not being constrained by time. This research is expected to help in the teaching and learning process comfortably. Coronaviruse Disease 2019 (Covid-19) makes teaching and learning to be carried out remotely, to protect the safety and health of students from the threat of Covid-19. MIN 1 Rembang as an institution under the Ministry of Religion utilizes a distance learning application launched by the Ministry of Religion, namely Madrasah E-learning. This study aims to describe Distance Learning using Madrasah E-Learning for MIN 1 Rembang students. This study used a qualitative research method with a descriptive qualitative design (case study). The data collection technique used an online questionnaire using Microsoft Form. The results showed that the Madrasah E-learning application proved to be useful as a learning technique during the 2019 Coronavirus Disease Pandemic (Covid-19). This can be seen from the results of the questionnaire given to respondents on average showing that Madrasah E-Learning can be the main means and choice for the implementation of teaching and learning activities for MIN 1 Rembang students during the current Coronavirus Disease 2019 (Covid-19) pandemic.

The article is devoted to the description of the results of a study of students' satisfaction with the organisation of distance learning at the university, the difficulties encountered in learning under new conditions of self-isolation, resources and ways to overcome them. The study involved 1288 students of Kostroma State University of all courses, forms of study and educational levels. For statistical data processing, the SPSS 17.0 package (Spearman's correlation analysis, content analysis of students' free statements) was used. It is shown that the transition to distance learning in conditions of self-isolation is very successful, most students have adapted to the new situation. The degree of students' satisfaction with work in the remote format correlates with the assessment of their own success and with the features of the organisation of the learning process. Lack of communication with teachers and difficulties in mastering educational material form a request among students to expand the range of communication tools and teaching tools used. It was found that students experience a number of organisational and personal difficulties associated with the transition to a distance learning format. However, most students successfully overcome them using constructive coping strategies aimed at solving the problem and seeking support. The ways of increasing the degree of students’ satisfaction with work in the distance learning system, aimed at increasing the level of their psychological well-being, are proposed – focusing on a dialogical approach, organising methodological support for training courses, updating the organisational functions of curator teachers, implementing teamwork of teachers to ensure interdisciplinarity and integrability of acquired knowledge and competences.
