The ability to write and publish articles in scientific journals is part of the professional competence of the teacher. The problem is that many teachers have not mastered the skills of writing scientific papers. As a result, many teachers find it difficult to advance in rank, especially for promotion after IV/a. This paper describes a community service activity sponsored by Riau University lecturers which aims to help teachers improve their scientific writing skills. Community Service Activities were performed at a SMAIT (Islamic Integrated High School) in Pekanbaru, Riau. This paper further explains the concept of the workshop, the content of the workshop materials, and the effectiveness of the workshop. This workshop lasted for two months with three face-to-face training sessions. The rest was done online via the Google Classroom platform. The material content covers the basic principles of scientific writing, the steps for writing scientific journals, how to cite and make references, including how to automatically quote from reference manager applications such as Mendeley, and how to submit articles through the Online Journal System (OJS). Data from the survey conducted at the end of the community service activity showed that, in general, this activity was well and effectively carried out. The majority of participants (72.7%) stated that their motivation to write increased after attending the training. Their knowledge of writing scientific articles have improved after training. Their ability in writing scientific journals is also relatively better than before following this structured workshop.

The development of information technology in the digital era is currently increasing and also influencing the world of education. This also affects students' ability to be able to take advantage of applications relating to the development of digital literacy skills, especially in writing scientific papers. In the world of academia, currently scientific work is one of the demands and even obligations, so it also demands students to follow its developments. The increasing prevalence of plagiarism cases in academia is also a scourge for students, especially for students in the final level of Ponorogo Regency, here the sample is students of Muhammadiyah University of Ponorogo. Therefore, it is necessary to prepare from the beginning how literacy procedures properly and correctly through the help of a program application so that later students are able to make good manager references. The method applied in this community service with partners, namely students of Muhammadiyah University of Ponorogo, especially in semesters 6 and 8, will be introduced to the Mendeley desktop program application in making citation of scientific papers. The output achieved in this service activity is a national community service scientific journal with ISSN. This community service activity has been successfully carried out for two online meetings. The first online meeting activity provided an explanation of the function of the mendeley desktop program, the function of tools in the mendeley desktop program and assisting students in the use of the mendeley desktop in making scientific papers. At the second meeting, continued assistance was carried out on the use of the Mendeley application and confirmation in making scientific papers with the help of the Mendeley desktop application. Keywords: Mendeley Desktop, Scientific Papers, Reference Manager, Training.  Perkembangan teknologi informasi dalam era digital saat ini semakin meningkat dan juga mempengaruhi dalam dunia pendidikan. Hal ini berpengaruh juga dalam kemampuan mahasiswa untuk bisa memanfaatkan aplikasi-aplikasi yang berkenaan dengan pengembangan kemampuan literasi digital, khususnya dalam penulisan karya ilmiah. Dalam dunia akademisi saat ini karya ilmiah menjadi salah satu tuntutan bahkan kewajiban, sehingga menuntut pula bagi mahasiswa untuk mengikuti perkembangannya. Semakin maraknya tentang kasus-kasus plagiasi dalam dunia akademisi juga menjadi momok bagi mahasiswa khususnya bagi mahasiswa di Kabupaten Ponorogo tingkat akhir, disini sample adalah mahasiswa Universitas Muhammadiyah Ponorogo. Oleh karena itu, perlu disiapkan sejak awal bagaimana tata cara literasi dengan baik dan benar melalui bantuan suatu aplikasi program agar nantinya mahasiswa mampu membuat referensi manager dengan baik. Metode yang diterapkan dalam pengabdian masyarakat ini dengan mitra yaitu mahasiswa Universitas Muhammadiyah Ponorogo khususnya semester 6 dan 8 akan dikenalkan tentang aplikasi program mendeley desktop dalam pembuatan citasi karya ilmiah. Adapun luaran yang dicapai dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah jurnal ilmiah pengabdian masyarakat  nasional ber ISSN. Kegiatan pengabdian ini telah berhasil dilakukan selama dua kali pertemuan secara daring (online). Kegiatan pertemuan daring pertama dengan memberikan penjelasan materi fungsi program mendeley desktop, fungsi tools dalam program mendeley desktop serta pendampingan mahasiswa dalam penggunaan mendeley desktop dalam pembuatan karya ilmiah. Pada pertemuan kedua dilaksanakan pendampingan lanjutan penggunaan aplikasi mendeley serta konfirmasi dalam pembuatan karya ilmiah dengan bantuan aplikasi mendeley desktop. Kata Kunci: mendeley dekstop, karya ilmiah, referensi manager, pelatihan.

Three Stages

Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kompetensi profesional guru MTs DDI Padanglampe, Kabupaten Pangkep, Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan, dalam bidang penulisan karya tulis ilmiah, khususnya artikel ilmiah untuk publikasi jurnal. Kegiatan dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan metode pelatihan. Pelatihan diberikan kepada 25 guru dan dilaksanakan dalam tiga tahapan, yakni tahap persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Materi-materi pelatihan yang diberikan mencakup prinsip dasar penulisan karya ilmiah, karakteristik, langkah-langkah, sistematika karya tulis ilmiah, serta praktik penyusunan artikel ilmiah untuk publikasi jurnal. Pelatihan yang telah diberikan kepada guru MTs DDI Padanglampe menghasilkan artikel-artikel ilmiah yang layak untuk disubmit ke jurnal-jurnal. Selain itu, pelatihan ini mendapat respon yang sangat positif dari para guru, karena selama ini mereka masih kesulitan menyusun karya tulis ilmiah.The purpose of this community service activity is to improve the professional competence of teachers of MTs DDI Padanglampe, Pangkep Regency, South Sulawesi Province, in the field of writing scientific papers, especially scientific articles for journal publications. Activities are carried out using training methods. Training was given to 25 teachers and implemented in three stages, namely preparation, implementation, and evaluation. The training materials provided cover the essence of writing scientific papers, characteristics, steps, systematic scientific papers, and the practice of writing scientific articles for journal publications. The training that has been given to Padanglampe MTs DDI teachers produces scientific articles that are ready to be submitted to journals. In addition, this training received a very positive response from the participants, because so far they still have difficulty in preparing scientific papers.

Lecturers must have the ability to conduct research and write scientific papers. This is very important both for the sake of itself and the interests of the Higher Education. However, most lecturers are constrained in terms of writing scientific papers because they have to go through a complicated process and require good scientific writing skills. These obstacles hampered lecturers from fulfilling the requirements for promotion, and also led to stagnation in increasing competence in the field of research and development of scientific works. This problem also occurs in the Teacher Training and Education Faculty (FKIP), Mataram University. Based on Sinta's data in 2019, the total number of scopus indexed article publications from FKIP Mataram University lecturers for 10 years was only an average of 4% of the total number of lecturers who published in international journals or seminars indexed on the indexer. The number of international publications is still low. Based on this, the FKIP Mataram University through the BP3MF Faculty of Research and Community Service Agency conducted training on article writing and publication techniques in international journals with the aim of improving the quality and quantity of research and community service carried out by lecturers. This is very necessary in order to improve the ability of lecturers in the field of research and development of scientific work at the FKIP, Mataram University. The method that will be used in this community service activity is Focus Group Discussion (FGD) in the form of training and mentoring to improve the ability of lecturers to write scientifically. The activity will be carried out in three stages, namely: (1) the planning stage, (2) the observation stage, (3) the implementation stage, (4) the evaluation stage. The service activity presents material, lectures, and discussions in delivering material consisting of: article writing, lecturer scientific writing framework, international journal publication techniques and the use of tools for language translation. The output of this activity is that participants gain important knowledge about improving their scientific writing skills. In addition, participants also gained broader insight into journal publication procedures at the international level

ABSTRAKDalam dunia akademisi plagiarisme merupakan suatu perbuatan tidak terpuji karena merupakan tindakan mencuri ide atau gagasan orang lain. Namun demikian, tindakan plagiarisme masih sering dilakukan mahasiswa dalam menulis karya tulis ilmiah. Untuk mengatasi persoalan itu maka dilakukan sosialisasi wawasan plagiarisme karya tulis ilmiah sebagai bentuk kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat yang ditujukan kepada mahasiswa PGSD. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memberi pemahaman yang baik kepada mahasiswa tentang definisi plagiarisme, ruang lingkup plagiarisme, faktor penyebab plagiarisme, tipe plagiarisme dan sanksinya, cara menghindari plagiarisme, simulasi cek plagiarisme dan teknik parafrasa. Metode Pelaksanaan sosialisasi kegiatan dilakukan secara daring (online) melalui media zoom meeting. Dari hasil pre test dan post test menunjukan bahwa terdapat peningkatan yang signifikan pemahaman mahasiswa tentang plagiarisme. Wawasan tentang plagiarisme sangat penting dalam menunjang keberhasilan mahasiswa dalam menulis karya ilmiah yang bebas plagiat. Kata kunci: wawasan plagiarisme; karya tulis ilmiah ABSTRACTIn the academic world, plagiarism is an act that is not commendable because it is an act of stealing other people's ideas or ideas. However, plagiarism is still often done by students in writing scientific papers. To overcome this problem, socialization of plagiarism insights into scientific writings was carried out as a form of community service activity aimed at PGSD students. This activity aims to give students a good understanding of the definition of plagiarism, the scope of plagiarism, the causes of plagiarism, the types of plagiarism and its sanctions, how to avoid plagiarism, simulation of plagiarism checks and paraphrasing techniques. Methods of the socialization of activities is carried out online through zoom meeting. The results of the pre test and post test showed that there was a significant increase in students' understanding of plagiarism. The purpose of community service this time is first, helping the teacher's difficulties in writing scientific articles compiled from the results of Class Action Research (PTK) that has been done. Many results are obtained in teacher PTK and need to be published in order to be a reference for teachers and other educators. Second, for the promotion and class of teachers who have been promulgated in Permenegpan No. 16 of 2009 and Permendiknas No. 35 of 2010. Second, scientific articles written by teachers can be used for submissions for promotions and classes of teachers that have been promulgated in Permenegpan No. 16 of 2009 and Permendiknas No. 35 of 2010. Both candies require the calculation of the credit number of functional positions of teachers for the affairs of promotion and class. One of the credit figures is obtained from scientific publications. The target of this community service activity is to help teachers to hone their skills in terms of writing scientific articles and providing assistance / clinical scientific articles until published in the intended journal. Abstract. The level of knowledge of students and lecturers who are still not sufficiently knowledgeable in finding appropriate reference sources in making scientific papers is still happening at the Harapan Bersama Polytechnic. Currently, the number and quality of citation sources for writing a bibliography of a student's scientific work that is produced is about 80% unsuitable which results in not infrequently students and lecturers who still need to increase their knowledge of digital literacy. The proposed community service activity is a workshop activity to increase knowledge and ability in examining library sources as a literature study of scientific papers. In this activity, the reference manager introduction material was given as a tool to find library sources. The method used in this activity is to use the synchronous method through online media. The training provided provides increased knowledge for students and lecturers to better understand and be able to use Mendeley's reference management software as a tool in their search for digital literacy. The results of the evaluation of activities through interviews with participants, it shows that there is an increase in knowledge and a very good response from the training participants and wants the next training to be carried out again.Keywords: Increased Knowledge, Mendeley, Reference Manager, Workshop, Literation DigitalAbstrak. Tingkat pengetahuan mehasiswa dan dosen yang masih belum cukup pengetahuan dalam pencarian sumber referensi yang tepat dalam pembuatan karya tulis ilmiah masih terjadi di Politeknik Harapan Bersama. Saat ini, jumlah dan kualitas sumber sitasi penulisan daftar pustaka sebuah karya ilmiah yang dihasilkan sekiar 80% belum sesuai yang mengakibatkan tidak jarang mahasiswa dan dosen masih perlu meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang literasi digital. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat yang diusulkan adalah sebuah kegiatan workshop untuk menambah pengetahuan dan kemampuan dalam menelaah sumber pustaka sebagai studi pustaka karya ilmiah. Pada kegiatan tersebut diberikan mengenai materi pengenalan reference manager sebagai alat untuk mencari sumber pustaka. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah menggunakan metode sinkron melalui media online. Pelatihan yang diberikan memberikan peningkatan pengetahuan bagi mahasiswa dan dosen agar lebih memahami dan dapat menggunakan software pengelola referensi Mendeley sebagai alat bantu dalam pencarian literasi digital. Hasil evaluasi kegiatan melalui wawancara dengan peserta menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan dan respons yang sangat baik dari peserta diklat dan menginginkan agar workshop selanjutnya dilaksanakan kembali.Kata Kunci: Mendeley, Peningkatan Pengetahuan, Reference Manager, Workshop, Literasi Digital

Karya ilmiah dapat berupa skripsi, tesis, disertasi, artikel yang dikirimkan ke jurnal serta tulisan lainnya merupakan bagian yang tidak terpisahkan dalam kegiatan akademik. Mencantumkan sitasi sangat penting dalam menulis karya ilmiah. Oleh karena itu perlunya di berikan pengetahuan cara mengoptimalkan software yang dapat membantu para Dosen dan mahasiswa dalam penyusunan sitasi, daftar pustaka, dan mengorganisir sumber pustaka yang dimiliki secara baik agar memudahkan dalam proses penulisan karya ilmiah menggunakan bantuan software tententu. Mendeley merupakan aplikasi citation and reference manager berguna dalam proses sitasi dan pengelola suatu referensi berbasis open source mendukung berbagai platform. Melalui kegiatan PkM yang dilaksanakan secara online melalui zoom meeting dan live www.youtube.com, diperoleh hasil melalui kuesioner respon balik dari peserta yaitu kegiatan ini dinilai baik sekali sebanyak 49%, dinilai baik sebanyak 41% , dinilai cukup sebanyak 7% , dinilai kurang sebanyak 3% dan dinilai kurang sekali sebanyak 0%.Dengan demikian diharapkan Dosen dan mahasiswa dapat menggunakan secara optimal software Mendeley untuk penulisan ilmiah dan semoga dapat meningkatkan kemampuan serta berkolaborasi dengan peneliti lain seluruh dunia.Kata kunci—karya ilmiah, mendeley, pengabdian masyarakat, manajemen referensi, sitasi.Scientific works can be in the form of theses, theses, dissertations, articles submitted to journals and other writings that are an integral part of academic activities. Including citations is very important in writing scientific papers. Therefore it is necessary to provide knowledge on how to optimize software that can help lecturers and students in compiling citations, bibliographies, and organizing well-owned library sourcesin orderto facilitate the process of writing scientific papers using the help of certain software. Mendeley is a citation and reference manager application that is useful in the citation process and an open source based reference manager supports various platforms. Through PkM activities carried out online through zoom meetings and live www.youtube.com, results were obtained through questionnaire responses fromparticipants, namely this activity was rated very good as much as 49%, considered good as much as 41%, considered sufficient as much as 7%, considered insufficient as much as 3%andwas deemed as lacking as much as 0%. Thus, it is hoped that lecturers and students can use Mendeley software optimally for scientific writing and hopefully it can improve their abilities and collaborate with other researchers around the world..Keywords— community service, citations, scientific works, Mendeley, reference management.

The Women's Cooperative "Arwana" which is a legal entity No.: 99/BH/DK PPKM/KEP/IX.4/2008 is a savings and loan cooperative having its address at Jl. Wren Rt. 17/Rw.06 Cempaka Permai Village, Gading Cempaka District, Bengkulu City. This cooperative was established by notarial deed SK. Minister of Law and Human Rights of the Republic of Indonesia Number: C-226.HT.03.01. July 5, 2006 and started operating in 2008. In 2019 this cooperative began to turn into a sharia-based cooperative. This community service activity aims to provide understanding assistance to administrators and members in terms of management as an effort towards better management from conventional to Sharia. So it is hoped that later the management and members of the cooperative in carrying out their duties and responsibilities in accordance with the principles and rules of management can become a financing system in accordance with the sharia concept. This community service is carried out with lectures on the principles of cooperative management. The output of this community service activity is that the management and members of the cooperative, especially in the savings and loan business, are able to know and understand and implement financing business activities with a management system according to SAK ETAP as a step towards developing a financing business that is still using the conventional system to be more ready to use the system. The purpose of this activity is to make the teachers in SMA Hang Tuah 3 Mataram know the ways of writing and the forms of a paper and ultimately be able to automatically express their ideas, ideas and experiences during the teaching and learning process into a scientific writing eligible to be published in an ISSN journal. The training activities were held because to the collaboration of both parties namely SMA Hang Tuah 3 Mataram and the dedication team from IKIP Mataram.
