Workshop Literasi Digital menggunakan Reference Manager pada Masa Pandemi Covid-19

Abstract. The level of knowledge of students and lecturers who are still not sufficiently knowledgeable in finding appropriate reference sources in making scientific papers is still happening at the Harapan Bersama Polytechnic. Currently, the number and quality of citation sources for writing a bibliography of a student's scientific work that is produced is about 80% unsuitable which results in not infrequently students and lecturers who still need to increase their knowledge of digital literacy. The proposed community service activity is a workshop activity to increase knowledge and ability in examining library sources as a literature study of scientific papers. In this activity, the reference manager introduction material was given as a tool to find library sources. The method used in this activity is to use the synchronous method through online media. The training provided provides increased knowledge for students and lecturers to better understand and be able to use Mendeley's reference management software as a tool in their search for digital literacy. The results of the evaluation of activities through interviews with participants, it shows that there is an increase in knowledge and a very good response from the training participants and wants the next training to be carried out again.Keywords: Increased Knowledge, Mendeley, Reference Manager, Workshop, Literation DigitalAbstrak. Tingkat pengetahuan mehasiswa dan dosen yang masih belum cukup pengetahuan dalam pencarian sumber referensi yang tepat dalam pembuatan karya tulis ilmiah masih terjadi di Politeknik Harapan Bersama. Saat ini, jumlah dan kualitas sumber sitasi penulisan daftar pustaka sebuah karya ilmiah yang dihasilkan sekiar 80% belum sesuai yang mengakibatkan tidak jarang mahasiswa dan dosen masih perlu meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang literasi digital. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat yang diusulkan adalah sebuah kegiatan workshop untuk menambah pengetahuan dan kemampuan dalam menelaah sumber pustaka sebagai studi pustaka karya ilmiah. Pada kegiatan tersebut diberikan mengenai materi pengenalan reference manager sebagai alat untuk mencari sumber pustaka. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah menggunakan metode sinkron melalui media online. Pelatihan yang diberikan memberikan peningkatan pengetahuan bagi mahasiswa dan dosen agar lebih memahami dan dapat menggunakan software pengelola referensi Mendeley sebagai alat bantu dalam pencarian literasi digital. Hasil evaluasi kegiatan melalui wawancara dengan peserta menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan dan respons yang sangat baik dari peserta diklat dan menginginkan agar workshop selanjutnya dilaksanakan kembali.Kata Kunci: Mendeley, Peningkatan Pengetahuan, Reference Manager, Workshop, Literasi Digital

The development of information technology in the digital era is currently increasing and also influencing the world of education. This also affects students' ability to be able to take advantage of applications relating to the development of digital literacy skills, especially in writing scientific papers. In the world of academia, currently scientific work is one of the demands and even obligations, so it also demands students to follow its developments. The increasing prevalence of plagiarism cases in academia is also a scourge for students, especially for students in the final level of Ponorogo Regency, here the sample is students of Muhammadiyah University of Ponorogo. Therefore, it is necessary to prepare from the beginning how literacy procedures properly and correctly through the help of a program application so that later students are able to make good manager references. The method applied in this community service with partners, namely students of Muhammadiyah University of Ponorogo, especially in semesters 6 and 8, will be introduced to the Mendeley desktop program application in making citation of scientific papers. The output achieved in this service activity is a national community service scientific journal with ISSN. This community service activity has been successfully carried out for two online meetings. The first online meeting activity provided an explanation of the function of the mendeley desktop program, the function of tools in the mendeley desktop program and assisting students in the use of the mendeley desktop in making scientific papers. At the second meeting, continued assistance was carried out on the use of the Mendeley application and confirmation in making scientific papers with the help of the Mendeley desktop application. Keywords: Mendeley Desktop, Scientific Papers, Reference Manager, Training. Perkembangan teknologi informasi dalam era digital saat ini semakin meningkat dan juga mempengaruhi dalam dunia pendidikan. Hal ini berpengaruh juga dalam kemampuan mahasiswa untuk bisa memanfaatkan aplikasi-aplikasi yang berkenaan dengan pengembangan kemampuan literasi digital, khususnya dalam penulisan karya ilmiah. Dalam dunia akademisi saat ini karya ilmiah menjadi salah satu tuntutan bahkan kewajiban, sehingga menuntut pula bagi mahasiswa untuk mengikuti perkembangannya. Semakin maraknya tentang kasus-kasus plagiasi dalam dunia akademisi juga menjadi momok bagi mahasiswa khususnya bagi mahasiswa di Kabupaten Ponorogo tingkat akhir, disini sample adalah mahasiswa Universitas Muhammadiyah Ponorogo. Oleh karena itu, perlu disiapkan sejak awal bagaimana tata cara literasi dengan baik dan benar melalui bantuan suatu aplikasi program agar nantinya mahasiswa mampu membuat referensi manager dengan baik. Metode yang diterapkan dalam pengabdian masyarakat ini dengan mitra yaitu mahasiswa Universitas Muhammadiyah Ponorogo khususnya semester 6 dan 8 akan dikenalkan tentang aplikasi program mendeley desktop dalam pembuatan citasi karya ilmiah. Adapun luaran yang dicapai dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah jurnal ilmiah pengabdian masyarakat nasional ber ISSN. Kegiatan pengabdian ini telah berhasil dilakukan selama dua kali pertemuan secara daring (online). Kegiatan pertemuan daring pertama dengan memberikan penjelasan materi fungsi program mendeley desktop, fungsi tools dalam program mendeley desktop serta pendampingan mahasiswa dalam penggunaan mendeley desktop dalam pembuatan karya ilmiah. Pada pertemuan kedua dilaksanakan pendampingan lanjutan penggunaan aplikasi mendeley serta konfirmasi dalam pembuatan karya ilmiah dengan bantuan aplikasi mendeley desktop. Kewajiban untuk menulis karya ilmiah bagi guru mendorong pentingnya penguasaan reference management software agar kualitas sitasi dan daftar rujukan dalam karya ilmiah sesuai dengan format yang diinginkan. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan keterampilan bagi guru SMKN 6 Malang tentang reference management software Zotero dan EndNote. Kegiatan pengabdian dilakukan selama dua hari. Selain itu, dilakukan juga survey tentang persepsi pelatihan tentang reference management software dan operasionalnya sebelum dan sesudah pelatihan. Selain itu, survey juga berisikan tentang persepsi peserta pelatihan terhadap penyampaian materi pelatihan. Dari hasil survey, diketahui mayoritas peserta pelatihan belum memahami reference management software dan pengoperasiannya. Setelah pelatihan, mayoritas peserta pelatihan berpersepsi bahwa Zotero lebih mudah untuk digunakan dibandingkan dengan End-Note. Mayoritas peserta pelatihan berpersepsi bahwa kedua reference management software yang diajarkan, baik Zotero maupun End-Note, mudah untuk digunakan dalam menulis sitasi dan daftar pustaka. Hasil survey juga menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas peserta pelatihan menyatakan tingkat penguasaan materi baik dan cara penyampaian materi oleh penyaji menarik serta interaksi penyaji dan peserta baik.Kata kunci: Reference Management Software; Zotero; End-Note; Sitasi.AbstractThe obligation to write scientific papers for teachers encourages the importance of mastering reference management software so that the quality of citations and reference lists in scientific papers are in accordance with the desired format. This community service activity aims to provide knowledge and skills for teachers of SMKN 6 Malang about Zotero and EndNote reference management software. The workshop activities were carried out for two days. In addition, a survey of the workshop participant about reference management software and operations was also conducted before and after the workshop. The survey also contained perceptions of workshop participants regarding the delivery of training materials. From the survey results, it is known that the majority of workshop participants did not understand the reference management software and its operation before attending the workshop. After the workshop, most of the participants perceived that Zotero was easier to use compared to End-Note. Most of the participants also perceived that the two reference management software taught, both Zotero and End-Note, were easy to use in writing citations and references. The survey results also showed that the majority of participants stated that the level of mastery of the material was good and the way the material was presented by the presenters was interesting and the interaction between presenters and participants was good.Keywords: Reference Management Software; Zotero; End-Note; Citation.

The ability to write and publish articles in scientific journals is part of the professional competence of the teacher. The problem is that many teachers have not mastered the skills of writing scientific papers. As a result, many teachers find it difficult to advance in rank, especially for promotion after IV/a. This paper describes a community service activity sponsored by Riau University lecturers which aims to help teachers improve their scientific writing skills. Community Service Activities were performed at a SMAIT (Islamic Integrated High School) in Pekanbaru, Riau. This paper further explains the concept of the workshop, the content of the workshop materials, and the effectiveness of the workshop. This workshop lasted for two months with three face-to-face training sessions. The rest was done online via the Google Classroom platform. The material content covers the basic principles of scientific writing, the steps for writing scientific journals, how to cite and make references, including how to automatically quote from reference manager applications such as Mendeley, and how to submit articles through the Online Journal System (OJS). Data from the survey conducted at the end of the community service activity showed that, in general, this activity was well and effectively carried out. The majority of participants (72.7%) stated that their motivation to write increased after attending the training. Their knowledge of writing scientific articles have improved after training. Their ability in writing scientific journals is also relatively better than before following this structured workshop.

Abstract. One of the requirements that must be met is to improve the quality of education by creating professional teachers. Based on the results of observations made from 9 (nine) teachers, only 1 (one) teacher has the ability to compile CAR, while 8 (eight) people do not have the ability to compile CAR. This is due to the lack of teachers getting information about the technique of preparing the CAR and the teachers are not accustomed to compiling research, so that the teachers are less able to prepare CAR In this regard, it is necessary to make efforts to improve the ability of teachers in preparing CAR. The purpose of this community service activity is to increase teacher professionalism through classroom action research and writing of environmental scientific papers at SMA Perjuangan Terpadu. The method of activities carried out in this community service is training / counseling, guidance and mentoring which is integrated in classroom action research workshops (PTK). The form of activities to be carried out is training in the form of: designing and implementing models, methods, media, and learning approaches as outlined in the classroom action research proposal; implementation of classroom action research; interpreting implementation results through classroom action research reports; and writing scientific papers. The outputs that will be produced in this activity include: classroom action research proposals, classroom action research reports, and journals published by the teacher. All participants will be accompanied and guided in the process of making proposals, reports, and copying articles in accredited or not accredited national journals. Abstrak. Salah satu persyaratan yang harus dipenuhi untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan dengan menciptakan guru yang professional. Berdasarkan hasil observasi yang dilakukan dari 9 (sembilan) orang guru, hanya 1 (satu) orang guru memiliki kemampuan menyusun PTK, sedangkan 8 (delapan) orang belum memiliki kemampuan menyusun PTK. Hal ini disebabkan kurangnya guru mendapatkan informasi tentang teknik penyusunan PTK dan guru tidak terbiasa menyusun penelitian, sehingga para guru kurang mampu dalam menyusun PTK. Berkaitan dengan hal tersebut, maka perlu adanya upaya untuk meningkatkan kemampuan guru dalam menyusun PTK. Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini ialah untuk meningkatkan profesionalitas guru melalui penelitian tindakan kelas dan penulisan karya ilmiah lingkungan SMA Perjuangan Terpadu. Metode kegiatan yang dilakukan pada pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah pelatihan/penyuluhan, pembimbingan dan pendampingan yang terintegrasi dalam kegiatan workshop penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK).Bentuk kegiatan yang akan dilakukan yaitu pelatihan berupa: perancangan dan penerapan model, metode, media, maupun pendekatan pembelajaran yang dituangkan dalam proposal penelitian tindakan kelas; pelaksanaan penelitian tindakan kelas; menginterpretasikan hasil pelaksanaan melalui laporan penelitian tindakan kelas; dan penulisan karya ilmiah.Luaran yang akan dihasilkan pada kegiatan ini antara lain: proposal penelitian tindakan kelas, laporan penelitian tindakan kelas, dan jurnal yang dipublikasikan oleh guru. Seluruh peserta akan didampingi dan dibimbing dalam proses pembuatan proposal, laporan, hingga mensumbit artikel pada jurnal nasional yang terakreditasi atau tidak terakreditasi.

Writing scientific papers is a very important activity for a professional teacher. This activity not only needs to be done in order to obtain credit figures for promotion or for the purposes of certification through portfolios, but moreover, it needs to be done in order to improve the quality of classroom management, quality of service to students, and also increase the professionalism of the teacher himself. The results of the overall community service activity can be seen based on the following components. First, the target of the training participants or target audience is 36 Muhammadiyah Boarding Schools (MBS) Ki Bagus Hadikusumo. In the implementation of this activity, it was attended by 22 teachers because there were several teachers who had activities outside of school. Thus the target number of training participants is 61.1% or can be considered quite good. Secondly, the achievement of training objectives can be judged to be poor. The purpose of community service is so that the teachers at MIT Ar Roihan Lawang can make scientific articles and publish them. The target audience of this activity includes all the teachers at MIT Ar Roihan Lawang, amounting to 100 people. This activity involved the Community Service Team consisting of 3 lecturers and several students as resource persons and assistants. The method of implementation is the classical approach and individual approach. The classical mentoring activities of writing scientific papers were successful. An understanding of the concept of scientific works, writing scientific papers, as well as searches of internationally reputed journals has increased significantly. Based on the results of the evaluation, it can be concluded that this service activity was successful in achieving its objectives. The results of devotion activities that can be obtained is an increase in understanding related to the concept of scientific work, writing scientific papers, and journals that contain scientific work by the teacher. Tujuan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini yaitu agar para guru di MIT Ar Roihan Lawang dapat membuat artikel ilmiah dan mempublikasikannya. Khalayak sasaran kegiatan ini meliputi seluruh guru di MIT Ar Roihan Lawang yang berjumlah 100 orang. Kegiatan ini melibatkan Tim Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat yang terdiri dari 3 orang dosen dan beberapa mahasiswa sebagai narasumber dan pendamping. Metode pelaksanaan yaitu pendekatan klasikal dan pendekatan individual. Kegiatan pendampingan klasikal penulisan karya ilmiah berjalan dengan sukses. Pemahaman tentang konsep karya ilmiah, penulisan karya ilmiah, serta penelusuran jurnal bereputasi internasional mengalami kenaikan signifikan. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi, dapat disimpulkan bahwa kegiatan pengabdian ini berhasil dalam mencapai tujuan. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian yang bisa diperoleh yaitu terjadi peningkatan pemahaman terkait konsep karya ilmiah, penulisan karya ilmiah, serta jurnal yang memuat karya ilmiah oleh guru.

Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah untuk memenuhi kewajiban dosen untuk melakukan tridharma perguruan tinggi. One of the great traditions in Islamic education institutions in Indonesia is teaching by transmitting Islamic values as found in classical books written centuries ago. The majority in Indonesia, the classic book is better known as the Kitab Kuning. Teaching with the Kitab Kuning is usually done in Islamic Boarding Schools. Examining Kitab Kuning requires qualified Arabic language skills at least passively. Unfortunately, not all Islamic boarding schools that have a variety of superior programs in certain fields, are weak in the field of studying Kitab Kuning. One of them is the Islamic Boarding School Mu'allimin Muhammadiyyah Sawah Dangka which has the flagship Tahfizh Alquran program but is weak in the study of Kitab Kuning. One of the main factors is the lack of adequate quality of human resources. For this reason, this community service activity aims to provide training while introducing new, lightweight methods in learning Arabic, namely the Bihaqatil Jumal method. This method emphasizes learning Arabic using the right brain. After a series of community service activities, teachers and Islamic boarding schools felt helped and gained new experiences in learning Arabic methods to study Kitab Kuning. In addition, both the assisted object and the resource person requested that this kind of community service be continued.

Community service activities with IbM scheme have been done in home industry of soybean milk processing in Sraten and Kartasura Village, Sukoharjo District. The aim of activities are all partners able process soybean juice into health drink product in ready to drink packaging, adn next can be as new economic commodity to the community. In addition, partners are expected to have a clear administrative and governance system in finance, production and, marketing as an effort to empower communities in Sukoharjo District. Considering the benefits of this soy essence is so great then product diversification is needed so that the product is more acceptable to the market. This program is done through several stages namely 1) Making soybeans into ready-to-drink; 2) Transfer of packing technology; 3) Product marketing and management aspects of soybean processing into beverages in ready-to-drink packaging as well as; and 4) Feasibility analysis of beverage production business made from soybean. Through IbM, training and development of soya bean processing technology is made into an economic commodity product in the form of beverages in ready-to-drink packaging, which can provide new economic alternatives in the community. After this program, the community service activity was conducted with the training and mentoring approach to the two partners, it was able to increase the quantity and quality of soybean beverage production where the yield of production increased almost twice from the original.
