The purpose of community service this time is first, helping the teacher's difficulties in writing scientific articles compiled from the results of Class Action Research (PTK) that has been done. Many results are obtained in teacher PTK and need to be published in order to be a reference for teachers and other educators. Second, for the promotion and class of teachers who have been promulgated in Permenegpan No. 16 of 2009 and Permendiknas No. 35 of 2010. Second, scientific articles written by teachers can be used for submissions for promotions and classes of teachers that have been promulgated in Permenegpan No. 16 of 2009 and Permendiknas No. 35 of 2010. Both candies require the calculation of the credit number of functional positions of teachers for the affairs of promotion and class. One of the credit figures is obtained from scientific publications. The target of this community service activity is to help teachers to hone their skills in terms of writing scientific articles and providing assistance / clinical scientific articles until published in the intended journal. The implementation of this activity is scheduled for three months, starting from: (1) giving material, (2) introducing and providing examples of scientific articles that have been published in national and international journals, (3) accompanying teachers in writing scientific papers compiled from the results of PTK, (4) helping teachers to assess the extent to which their scientific writing is worth publishing, and (5) helping to give directions to which journals will be intended to publish their work

The ability to write and publish articles in scientific journals is part of the professional competence of the teacher. The problem is that many teachers have not mastered the skills of writing scientific papers. As a result, many teachers find it difficult to advance in rank, especially for promotion after IV/a. This paper describes a community service activity sponsored by Riau University lecturers which aims to help teachers improve their scientific writing skills. Community Service Activities were performed at a SMAIT (Islamic Integrated High School) in Pekanbaru, Riau. This paper further explains the concept of the workshop, the content of the workshop materials, and the effectiveness of the workshop. This workshop lasted for two months with three face-to-face training sessions. The rest was done online via the Google Classroom platform. The material content covers the basic principles of scientific writing, the steps for writing scientific journals, how to cite and make references, including how to automatically quote from reference manager applications such as Mendeley, and how to submit articles through the Online Journal System (OJS). Data from the survey conducted at the end of the community service activity showed that, in general, this activity was well and effectively carried out. The majority of participants (72.7%) stated that their motivation to write increased after attending the training. Their knowledge of writing scientific articles have improved after training. Their ability in writing scientific journals is also relatively better than before following this structured workshop.

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan kemampuan guru-guru IPA di Kabupaten Hulu Sungai Tengah tentang PTK. Kegiatan pelatihan ini bertempat di SMPN 10 Barabai yang dihadiri oleh 36 orang guru IPA di Kabupaten Hulu Sungai Tengah yang tergabung dalam Musyawarah Guru Mata Pelajaran (MGMP) IPA. Kegiatan dilaksanakan menggunakan metode ceramah, tanya jawab, diskusi dan pendampingan pada saat penyusunan proposal. Kesimpulan dari hasil kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah pelatihan dan pendampingan penyusunan proposal PTK bagi guru IPA di kabupaten Hulu Sungai Tengah telah dilaksanakan dengan lancar dan mendapat respon yang positif dari para peserta. Pelatihan ini telah memberikan informasi bagi guru tentang penyusunan proposal PTK. Dengan demikian, para guru mampu memahami dan menyusun proposal penelitian tindakan kelas. Setelah pelatihan ini, guru diharapkan mampu membuat proposal penelitian tindakan kelas serta  melaksanakan penelitian tindakan kelas untuk mengatasi berbagai permasalahan yang ada dikelasnya.  This community service activity aims to improve the understanding and ability of natural science teachers in the Hulu Sungai Tengah Regency about Classroom Action Research (CAR). This training activity took place at SMPN 10 Barabai, which was attended by 36 science teachers in the Hulu Sungai Tengah Regency who were members of the Science Teachers' Conference (MGMP). Activities were carried out using lecture, question and answer, discussion, and assistance methods when preparing proposals. The conclusion from the results of this community service activity was the training and mentoring for the preparation of CAR proposals for science teachers in the Hulu Sungai Tengah district, which had been carried out smoothly and received positive responses from the participants. This training has provided information for teachers about the preparation of CAR proposals. Thus, the teachers are able to understand and prepare class action research proposals. After this training, teachers are expected to be able to make class action research proposals and carry out classroom action research to overcome various problems in their class.

This community service activity was carried out with the aim of increasing the professionalism of senior high school teachers at SMAN 7 Mataram through Classroom Action Research (CAR). This training activity is intended for teachers at SMAN 7 Mataram. The implementation of activities is presented in a workshop approach through lectures, discussions, questions and answers, and simulations. The presentation includes material on CAR, data analysis in CAR accompanied by several examples of proposal drafts and scientific publications related to CAR. The very high motivation of the participants was seen during the implementation of community service activities, in addition to the very positive response of the participants with an enthusiasm level of 90% seen during the implementation of this community service. The level of teacher satisfaction is very high with this activity and they have high hopes that further activities will be held as assistance for CAR activities in schools and are able to produce scientific papers that are worthy of publication.

Scientific articles are scientific papers of research results communicated in scientific publications, such as journals, magazines, or other publications. In schools, especially teachers who teach Bahasa Indonesia, are required to be able to motivate students to increase their reading interest in literature, because by studying literature students can get various benefits for their lives. Therefore, a teacher is required to be able to guide students to give appreciation for literary works, especially poetry. However, the reality in the field, teachers have difficulty teaching poetry musicalization. Because in addition to a calm understanding of literature itself, an understanding of music is also very important. This Community Service Activity aims to provide students with understanding and provide provisions for the ability to create poetry musicalization as an alternative in appreciating literature, especially poetry. The method used in this activity is in the form of workshops delivered with lectures, question-and-answer, and practical techniques. To find out the extent of student acceptance and understanding, as well as student abilities, at the beginning and end of the training an assessment or evaluation is carried out by filling out the pretest and posttest sheets. Based on the results of the tests that have been conducted, it is known that the participants experienced an increase in their understanding of the concepts of literary appreciation, poetry appreciation, and poetry musicalization from 64% to 100%. <p><strong><em>Abstract.</em></strong> <em>One of the requirements that must be met is to improve the quality of education by creating professional teachers. Based on the results of observations made from 9 (nine) teachers, only 1 (one) teacher has the ability to compile CAR, while 8 (eight) people do not have the ability to compile CAR. This is due to the lack of teachers getting information about the technique of preparing the CAR and the teachers are not accustomed to compiling research, so that the teachers are less able to prepare CAR In this regard, it is necessary to make efforts to improve the ability of teachers in preparing CAR. The purpose of this community service activity is to increase teacher professionalism through classroom action research and writing of environmental scientific papers at SMA Perjuangan Terpadu. The method of activities carried out in this community service is training / counseling, guidance and mentoring which is integrated in classroom action research workshops (PTK). The form of activities to be carried out is training in the form of: designing and implementing models, methods, media, and learning approaches as outlined in the classroom action research proposal; implementation of classroom action research; interpreting implementation results through classroom action research reports; and writing scientific papers. The outputs that will be produced in this activity include: classroom action research proposals, classroom action research reports, and journals published by the teacher. All participants will be accompanied and guided in the process of making proposals, reports, and copying articles in accredited or not accredited national journals.</em></p><p> </p><p><strong>Abstrak.</strong> <em>Salah satu persyaratan yang harus dipenuhi untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan dengan menciptakan guru yang professional. </em><em>Berdasarkan hasil observasi </em><em>yang dilakukan </em><em> dari 9 (sembilan) orang guru, hanya 1</em><em> (satu)</em><em> orang guru memiliki kemampuan menyusun PTK, sedangkan 8 </em><em>(delapan) </em><em>orang belum memiliki kemampuan menyusun PTK. Hal ini disebabkan kurangnya guru mendapatkan informasi tentang teknik penyusunan PTK dan guru tidak terbiasa menyusun penelitian, sehingga para guru kurang mampu dalam menyusun PTK. Berkaitan dengan hal tersebut, maka perlu adanya upaya untuk meningkatkan kemampuan guru dalam menyusun PTK.</em><em> Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini ialah untuk meningkatkan profesionalitas guru melalui penelitian tindakan kelas dan penulisan karya ilmiah </em><em>lingkungan</em><em> SMA Perjuangan Terpadu. Metode kegiatan yang dilakukan pada pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah pelatihan/penyuluhan, pembimbingan dan pendampingan yang terintegrasi dalam kegiatan workshop penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK).Bentuk kegiatan yang akan dilakukan yaitu pelatihan berupa: perancangan dan penerapan model, metode, media, maupun pendekatan pembelajaran yang dituangkan dalam proposal penelitian tindakan kelas; pelaksanaan penelitian tindakan kelas; menginterpretasikan hasil pelaksanaan melalui laporan penelitian tindakan kelas; dan penulisan karya ilmiah.Luaran yang akan dihasilkan pada kegiatan ini antara lain: proposal penelitian tindakan kelas, laporan penelitian tindakan kelas, dan jurnal yang dipublikasikan oleh guru. Seluruh peserta akan didampingi dan dibimbing dalam proses pembuatan proposal, laporan, hingga mensumbit artikel pada jurnal nasional yang terakreditasi atau tidak terakreditasi.</em></p>

Lecturers must have the ability to conduct research and write scientific papers. This is very important both for the sake of itself and the interests of the Higher Education. However, most lecturers are constrained in terms of writing scientific papers because they have to go through a complicated process and require good scientific writing skills. These obstacles hampered lecturers from fulfilling the requirements for promotion, and also led to stagnation in increasing competence in the field of research and development of scientific works. This problem also occurs in the Teacher Training and Education Faculty (FKIP), Mataram University. Based on Sinta's data in 2019, the total number of scopus indexed article publications from FKIP Mataram University lecturers for 10 years was only an average of 4% of the total number of lecturers who published in international journals or seminars indexed on the indexer. The number of international publications is still low. Based on this, the FKIP Mataram University through the BP3MF Faculty of Research and Community Service Agency conducted training on article writing and publication techniques in international journals with the aim of improving the quality and quantity of research and community service carried out by lecturers. This is very necessary in order to improve the ability of lecturers in the field of research and development of scientific work at the FKIP, Mataram University. The method that will be used in this community service activity is Focus Group Discussion (FGD) in the form of training and mentoring to improve the ability of lecturers to write scientifically. The activity will be carried out in three stages, namely: (1) the planning stage, (2) the observation stage, (3) the implementation stage, (4) the evaluation stage. The service activity presents material, lectures, and discussions in delivering material consisting of: article writing, lecturer scientific writing framework, international journal publication techniques and the use of tools for language translation. The output of this activity is that participants gain important knowledge about improving their scientific writing skills. In addition, participants also gained broader insight into journal publication procedures at the international level

Writing scientific papers is an important activity to improve teachers' quality, competence, and professionalism. Its implementation is marked by, among others, self-improvement through scientific research in the form of Classroom Action Research. During teaching and learning activities, teachers can research by developing various instruments and learning strategies. However, teachers rarely put their research results in writing in research reports and scientific articles. This community service activity aims to assist teachers in compiling Classroom Action Research reports and articles and explaining tricks to publish Classroom Action Research articles in reputable national journals. The implementation of the activities uses the methods of training, discussion, and direct mentoring so that the teacher can feel the process. This service activity received a good response, with the teacher's enthusiasm during the exercise, active discussions, and scientific reports and articles compilation. In the final discussion of this community service activity, teachers are very interested in publishing the results of their research, and it's just that teachers lack information about reputable journals. Through this activity, the ability of teachers to research and publish their research results can become practical innovations in the world of education, especially classroom learning.

ABSTRAKDalam dunia akademisi plagiarisme merupakan suatu perbuatan tidak terpuji karena merupakan tindakan mencuri ide atau gagasan orang lain. Namun demikian, tindakan plagiarisme masih sering dilakukan mahasiswa dalam menulis karya tulis ilmiah. Untuk mengatasi persoalan itu maka dilakukan sosialisasi wawasan plagiarisme karya tulis ilmiah sebagai bentuk kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat yang ditujukan kepada mahasiswa PGSD. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memberi pemahaman yang baik kepada mahasiswa tentang definisi plagiarisme, ruang lingkup plagiarisme, faktor penyebab plagiarisme, tipe plagiarisme dan sanksinya, cara menghindari plagiarisme, simulasi cek plagiarisme dan teknik parafrasa. Metode Pelaksanaan sosialisasi kegiatan dilakukan secara daring (online) melalui media zoom meeting. Dari hasil pre test dan post test menunjukan bahwa terdapat peningkatan yang signifikan pemahaman mahasiswa tentang plagiarisme. Wawasan tentang plagiarisme sangat penting dalam menunjang keberhasilan mahasiswa dalam menulis karya ilmiah yang bebas plagiat. Kata kunci: wawasan plagiarisme; karya tulis ilmiah ABSTRACTIn the academic world, plagiarism is an act that is not commendable because it is an act of stealing other people's ideas or ideas. However, plagiarism is still often done by students in writing scientific papers. To overcome this problem, socialization of plagiarism insights into scientific writings was carried out as a form of community service activity aimed at PGSD students. This activity aims to give students a good understanding of the definition of plagiarism, the scope of plagiarism, the causes of plagiarism, the types of plagiarism and its sanctions, how to avoid plagiarism, simulation of plagiarism checks and paraphrasing techniques. Methods of the socialization of activities is carried out online through zoom meeting. The results of the pre test and post test showed that there was a significant increase in students' understanding of plagiarism. Insight about plagiarism is very important in supporting the success of students in writing plagiarism-free scientific papers. Keywords: plagiarism insight;scientific writing

In an effort to develop teacher competencies according to ongoing needs to improve the profession according to their duties, the first teacher with the rank of Young Administrator up to the main teacher with the position of Main Trustee must carry out continuous professional development namely 1) self-development, 2) scientific publications, 3) development of innovative work, this is based on the Regulation of the Minister of State for Bureaucratic Reform 16 of 2009. The reality in the field shows that there are still many mathematics teachers in SMP Negeri 3 Kota Bima who need to be fostered in this matter. Some teachers still do not understand how to make proposals, carry out and report the results of their research well, and some others who have understood but have not implemented it. This tends to be due to the attention of teachers to conduct research and write scientific papers is still very low. This study aims to improve the ability of mathematics teachers at SMP Negeri 3 Kota Bima to carry out classroom action research through individual guidance techniques. The type of research used is class action research (PTK) which is carried out in the Middle School 3 of Bima City in the even semester of the 2017/2018 school year starting from January 2018 to March 2018. The research subjects were five mathematics teachers. The instruments used in this study were teacher observation sheets and interview sheets. The results showed that there was an increase in the ability of teachers to carry out classroom action research. This can be seen from the increase in teacher performance results from the first cycle of 2,36 with a fairly good category to 3,38 in the good category in the second cycle.
