This research was aimed at exposing the contribution of working motivation and the communication condition towards the primary teachers’ working performance at Ampek Angkek sub-district of Agam Regency. This research employed quantitative research with correlation design. The population of this research wasprimary public servant teachers at Ampek Angkek sub-district of Agam Regency which were 231 people. The samples were 67 people that were taken through stratified proportional technique random sampling, by considering the strata levels education and working experiences. The instrument used to accumulate the data wastested to check the reliability. The result indicated that the working motivation contributed to the teachers working performance as 35%, communication conditioncontributed as 20,3% to teachers’ working perfomance, and both working motivation and communication condition assigned as 45,6%  to teachers’ working performance. It can be concluded that working motivation and communication condition had influenced to primary teachers’ working perfomance at Ampek Angkek sub-district Agam Regency.

This study aims to determine how much influence both partially and simultaneously leadership, motivation and work discipline that occur in CV Kiong Ho Surabaya. This research is included in quantitative research, namely the data used in this study in the form of numbers. The sample from this study was CV Kiong Ho Surabaya employees which numbered 35 respondents. Using the disproportionate stratified random sampling model and the collected data were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis. The independent variables used in this study are leadership, work motivation, work discipline. While the performance of CV Kiong Ho Surabaya employees is the dependent variable. This study uses primary data, namely data collection by distributing questionnaires. The results showed that the results of the F test showed that employee performance was influenced jointly by leadership, work motivation, work discipline. And the results of partial tests, independent variables consisting of leadership, work motivation, work discipline.

This study aims to determine the effect of work motivation on employee work discipline at Rocky Plaza Hotel Padang..1.This type of research is descriptive quantitative research with causal methods. The population in this study were all employees at Rocky Plaza Hotel Padang. The research sample amounted to 54 employees using.1.the sampling technique is the proportionate stratified random sampling technique..1.Data collection techniques are carried out by using a questionnaire (questionnaire) with a Likert scale that has been tested for validity and reliability. Data were analyzed by simple linear regression testing through.1.the help of the SPSS Computer Program version 16.00. the results of the study show: 1) Work Motivation employees at Rocky Plaza Hotel Padang are in the good category (74.07%). 2) Employee Discipline is in a very good category (59.26%). 3) R Square 0.155 and a significance value of 0.03 which means that.1.there is a significant effect between work motivation on work discipline of 15.5% while the remaining 84.5% is influenced by other factors.

Abstrak Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji hubungan kebiasaan belajar dan disiplin belajar dengan hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas IV SDN Gugus Sadewa Kecamatan Petanahan Kabupaten Kebumen. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif jenis korelasi. Teknik sampel yang digunakan adalah Proportional Random Sampling sebanyak 103 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket, dokumentasi, dan wawancara. Teknik analisis data dengan analisis statistik deskriptif dan analisis product moment. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara kebiasaan belajar dengan hasil belajar IPS, nilai rhitung = 0,749 dan termasuk kategori kuat serta berkontribusi sebesar 54,2%; (2) terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara disiplin belajar dengan hasil belajar IPS, nilai rhitung = 0,777 dan termasuk kategori kuat serta berkontribusi sebesar 57,6%; (3) terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara kebiasaan belajar dan disiplin belajar secara bersama-sama dengan hasil belajar IPS, nilai rhitung = 0,790 termasuk kategori kuat serta berkontribusi sebesar 62,3%.   Abstract The purpose of this research was to examine the correlation between study habits and learning discipline with social studies learning outcomes of 4th grade students in Cluster Sadewa Elementary School Petanahan Kebumen. This is a quantitative research correlation design. The sample technique was proportional random sampling of 103 participants. Data collection technique were questionnaires, interview, and documentation. These data were analyzed by having descriptive statistic analyzed and product moment analyzed. The result of this research showed that (1) there was a positive and significant correlation between study habits and social studies learning outcomes, rcount = 0.749 which included in strong category and contribution of 54.2%; (2) there was a positive and significant correlation between learning discipline and social studies learning outcomes, rcount = 0.777 which included in strong category and contribution of 57.6%; (3) there was a positive and significant correlation study habits and learning discipline toward social studies learning outcomes, rcount = 0.790 which included in strong category and contribution of 62.3%.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of work motivation on employee performance, the effect of compensation on employee performance, and the influence of the work environment on employee performance. This research is classified into quantitative research in the form of associative causality. The population in this study were 86 employees using a simple random sampling method so that as many as 71 employees were used as samples. The analysis technique used is Multiple Regression Analysis. The results obtained that work motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, compensation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, work environment has a positive and significant effect on employee performance.

The Aims of the research are to know and analyze : (1) the effect of leadership qualities, work motivation and self-efficacy simultaneously on teacher performances; (2) the effect of leadership qualities on teacher performances; (3) the effect of work motivation on teacher performances; (4) the effect of self-efficacy on teacher performances of teachers of Government Junior High Schools in Tawangsari, Sukoharjo. The type of the research is descriptive quantitative research. The research was carried out in Sukoharjo. The population of the research were teachers of Government Junior High Schools in Tawangsari, Sukoharjo consisted 132 teachers. The research uses Proportional Random Sampling to choose sample in order to represent the penomena. The data collecting method were done using questionnaires and document techniques. The data was analyzed using multiple regression analysis. The conclusion of the analysis were : (1) there is a significant effect of leadership qualities, work motivation and self-efficacy simultaneously on teacher performances; (2) there is a significant effect of leadership qualities on teacher performances; (3) there is a significant effect of work motivation on teacher performances; (4) there is a significant effect of self-efficacy on teacher performances of teachers of Government Junior High Schools in Tawangsari, Sukoharjo. This article was written to find out the correlation between comprehension and writing skill of description text for student at class VII SMPN 15 Padang. Data in this study was score of text comprehension skill. The type of this study was quantitative research with correlation design. Study population was students at class VII SMPN 15 Padang that enrolled in academic year of 2016/2017 with sample was amounted to 224 students that dispersed in seven classes. Sampling determination used proportional random sampling technique that obtained 42 students (20% from student population per class). Study fining showed that there was a significant correlation between comprehension and writing skill of description text for student at class VII SMPN 15 Padang with tcount > ttable (10.32 > 1.68). Therefore, to write description text students should be able to understand the description text it self.

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kecerdasan emosional, efikasi diri, motivasi kerja, dan komitmen organisasi terhadap kinerja perawat. Metodologi penelitian adalah analisis penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan pemodelan persamaan struktural. Penelitian dilakukan di Rumah Sakit Anutapura, Palu, Sulawesi Tengah. Populasinya adalah perawat. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan simple random sampling dan diperoleh 100 perawat pelaksana sebagai sampel. Hasil penelitian ini adalah sebagai berikut: Ada pengaruh positif kecerdasan emosional terhadap kinerja, ada pengaruh positif efikasi diri terhadap kinerja, ada pengaruh positif komitmen organisasi terhadap kinerja, tidak ada pengaruh langsung motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, kecerdasan emosional berpengaruh paling kuat terhadap kinerja. Oleh karena itu, RS Anutapura harus lebih memperhatikan variabel ini saat merekrut perawat baru. Kata Kunci: kecerdasan, efikasi diri, motivasi, komitmen.ABSTRACTThe objective of the research is to determine the effect of emotional intelligence, self efficacy, working motivation, and organizational commitment toward nurses’ performance. Research methodology is quantitative research analysis using structural equation modelling. The research was conducted at Anutapura Hospital, Palu, Middle Sulawesi. The population is nurses. Sampling technique used simple random sampling and 100 nurses obtained as a sample. The results are as follows : there is positive effect of emotional intelligence toward performance, there is positive effect of efikasi diri toward performance, there is positive effect of organizational commitment toward performance, there is no direct effect of work motivation toward performance. Based on the result of research, emotional intelligence has the strongest effect toward performance. Thus, Anutapura Hospital must pay more attentions to this variable when recruiting new nurses.  Keywords: intelligence, self-efficacy, motivation, commitment.

ABSTRACTDepression is a mental health problem that mostly occurs during adolescence. Physical, cognitive and emotional changes experienced during adolescence can cause stress. The prevalence of depression in adolescence has a very high increase compared to the age of children and adults. The main factor in being able to cure depression in adolescents is social support (Depkes, 2007). This study aims to identify depressive symptoms in adolescents and to find out the relationship between social support factors and depression incidence. This research is a quantitative research, with the type of observational analytic research with a cross sectional approach involving students at SMA XY in Jember Regency in May 2020. The analytical method uses the Chi Square test to see the relationship between independent and dependent variables with a significance level of α ≤ 0, 05. Data collection tool using google form. Determination of respondents by random sampling with a total of 158 respondents. The results of this study indicate that the distribution of women is 76.58% more than that of men. Based on the distribution of social support, 56.96% received good social support, while based on the incidence of depression, 54.43% did not experience depression. From the statistical test, the significance value of <0.05 indicates that there is a relationship between social support factors and the incidence of depression. Social support plays an effective role in overcoming depression experienced by adolescents.Keywords: Depression, Teens, social support. ABSTRAKDepresi merupakan salah satu masalah kesehatan mental yang sebagian besar terjadi pada masa remaja. Perubahan fisik, kognitif dan emosional yang dialami pada masa remaja dapat menimbulkan stress. Prevalensi depresi pada usia remaja memiliki peningkatan yang sangat tinggi dibandingkan dengan usia anak-anak dan usia dewasa. Faktor utama untuk dapat menyembuhkan depresi pada remaja yaitu dukungan sosial (Depkes, 2007). Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi gejala depresi pada remaja dan mengetahui mengenai Hubungan Faktor Dukungan Sosial dengan Kejadian Depresi. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif, dengan jenis penelitian analitik observasional dengan pendekatan cross sectional yang melibatkan siswa di SMA XY di Kabupaten Jember pada Bulan Mei tahun 2020. Metode analisis menggunakan uji Chi Square untuk melihat hubungan variabel independen dan dependen dengan tingkat kemaknaan α ≤ 0,05. Alat pengumpulan data menggunakan google form. Penentuan responden secara random sampling dengan jumlah 158 reponden. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan distribusi perempuan 76,58% lebih banyak daripada laki-laki, berdasarkan distribusi dukungan sosial sebesar 56,96% mendapatkan dukungan sosial yang baik, sedangkan berdasarkan kejadian depresi sebesar 54,43% tidak mengalami depresi. Dari uji statistik nilai signifikansi sebesar < 0,05 menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan antara faktor dukungan sosial dengan kejadian depresi. Dukungan sosial berperan efektif dalam mengatasi depresi yang dialami remaja.Kata Kunci: Depresi, Remaja, Dukungan Sosial.

People do many things to reach effective life and stay away from trouble. One of indicators which disturb life is worrying too much about something irrational such as phobia. Phobia can be omitted by systematic desensitization  technique. Systematic desensitization  technique is one of techniques for counseling to reduce scary emotional response or something worrying through activities which are contrary to those responses. This research aims to (1) description phobia condition before treatment (pretest) and after treatment (posttest), (2) examine effectively systematic desensitization technique to reduce phobia of students.This research uses quantitative research method, type of this research is a kind of quasi experiment. This design uses pretest posttest one group design, there is an experiment group over here. Technique for collecting subject is non random sampling, selection for subjects based on certain considerations and adjusted to research purposes, there are 8 students of Tarbiyah and Education Faculty IAIN Imam Bonjol Padang suffering phobia. Instrument used is questionnaire with 0,851 of total validity and 0,923 of reliability. Data is analyzed using wilcoxon statistic test.Discovery of this research shows that: (1) systematic desensitization technique effectively heals phobia of students, (2) there are differences between pretest and posttest phobia condition.

Abstract: The formulation of this study is review the influence of functional training planners to the quality planners, the influence of work motivation to the quality of planner, and the influence of functional training planners and motivation to work together to the quality of Bappenas planners. The method used in this research is descriptive method with quantitative approach. The sampling technique is using proportionate stratified random sampling with a number of sample sizes of 137 people. Furthermore, the data obtained, processed and analyzed with SPSS 19.0 for windows Program by performing statistical test, those are the t test and F test. The results of this study indicate that there is a positive influence between functional training planners to quality planners, work motivation to quality planners, and the influence of the two together to the quality planner. The dimension of functional training planners that have an influence to the quality of planners is the management and faculty training. In addition, the study is also found that the dimension of work motivation which has an influence to the quality of planners is the need for achievement and the need for power. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh perencana di Bappenas tahun 2016. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan proportionate stratified random sampling dengan jumlah ukuran sampel 137 orang. Selanjutnya, data yang diperoleh, diolah dan dianalisa  dengan bantuan program SPSS 19.0 for windows dengan melakukan uji statistik yaitu uji t dan uji F. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif antara diklat fungsional perencana terhadap kualitas perencana, motivasi kerja terhadap kualitas perencana, dan pengaruh keduanya secara bersama-sama terhadap kualitas perencana. Dimensi diklat fungsional perencana yang memiliki pengaruh terhadap kualitas perencana adalah pengelolaan dan tenaga pengajar diklat. Selain itu, penelitian juga menemukan bahwa dimensi motivasi kerja yang memiliki pengaruh terhadap kualitas perencana adalah kebutuhan akan prestasi dan kebutuhan akan kekuasaan.
