We continue to pursue various breakthroughs through affirmative policies and strengthening the role of women in politics. One of these efforts can be seen through the application of the Election Law which requires the involvement of women at least 30 percent as legislative candidates for political parties. This policy is explicitly translated by the General Election Commission (KPU) in KPU regulation Number 7/2013 which states that political parties that cannot meet these requirements cannot qualify as election participants. However, at the implementation stage the level of women's participation in politics is still low. Political parties have not been able to produce reliable female cadres. The basic assumption behind this is that political education for women in Indonesia is not sufficient to open political awareness. The method used in this service is community empowerment through political education for women's groups / organizations / communities in Pijoan Village. The function of political education is not only the role of Political Parties but also transfers to all levels of society, especially the educational environment and academics. Therefore, this service is expected to be able to increase public awareness, especially women, to actively participate in the upcoming regional head elections for Jambi province. Based on the results of the survey carried out after the service, the participants received motivation to be more active in various activities such as organizations and in government and political activities.

This article describes the role of political education to improve public participation in the election of West Sumatra governor. The governor election is expected to be able to raise the level ofoptimism in order to improve the leadership qualities of local government, and the spirit of political education for citizen. This study applied descriptive qualitative method by using interviews and documentations as research instruments. Based on the documentation instrument, it showed the statistics of permanent voters who voted in the 2015 for governor election was 59.58% or 3,489,743 permanent voters. It was implied that 40.42% or 1,410,680 voters did not take their votes. This low level of public participation could be a sign that democracy has not effectively been implemented at the local level. The researchers concluded that the socialization activities of Governor election, as one of responsibilities of General Election Commission, have failed to increase the political awareness of the society.

The low level of public awareness in Balong Hamlet, Bibis Hamlet, and Kowen 2 Hamlet, Timbulharjo Village, Sewon, Bantul regarding clean and healthy living habits, both before and during the COVID-19 pandemic. The purpose of this community empowerment activity is to provide education about clean and healthy living habits and mental health so that there is an increase in public knowledge and awareness. This activity is carried out using the lecture, question and answer method, and case studies. This activity is carried out in three stages: the preparation stage, the implementation stage, and the reporting stage. The activities were carried out on 15, 16, and 17 February 2021, involving 70 people and three students. The results of this empowerment activity are evidenced by the existence of community empowerment which is shown through increasing knowledge about clean and mentally healthy living behaviors (p-value = 0.000). Education with the theme of clean and mentally healthy living habits needs to be carried out regularly to remind people of preventing Covid-19. Besides, it can also prevent public boredom in implementing clean and mentally healthy living behaviors.

The Village

Puerperal is likely in the occurrence of maternal deaths, and should receive health care during childbirth to be visited by a health worker at least 3 times since birth. This type of research was descriptive quantitative. The quantitative data obtained from questionnaires, using T-test. The research sample was breastfeeding mothers in the village of Balecatur as the intervention group and breastfeeding mothers in the village of Ambarketawang as the control group. There are significant differences of knowledge, behavior in the treatment of post-partum mothers between the intervention group and the control group with significant value in total of <0.05, influenced by the role of cadres, social suport, the role of health workers. Post partum visits conducted by community empowerment strategies, women as the main actors. The role of leaders, social support affect the success of efforts to increase postnatal visits among others disseminating information, provide examples, sensitize, motivate, guide, moving targets and the community and facilitating thus the knowledge, skills and increased public awareness can foster public participation in the postnatal visit.

Party system is the important factor in the working of representative form of Government.  India is a democratic state. In the democratic state, political parties are said to be the life – blood of democracies. Modern democracies are indirect in character. They can function with the help of political parties. In the absence of political parties democracy cannot deliver the goods. Well organized political parties constitute the best form of democracy. India has the largest democracy in the world. It introduced universal adult franchise as the basis of voting right in the country. Now the voting age has been lowered down to 18. Most of the Indian voters are not politically matured and they do not have the political education in the proper sense. Political parties in India are classified by the Election Commission of India. It was classified for the allocation of symbol. The Election Commission of India classified parties into three main heads: National parties, State parties and registered (unrecognized) parties.

  Garbage is one of the problems in Indonesia. Waste production in Indonesia always increases every year. Efforts should be made to reduce waste, one of which is by establishing a waste bank. The garbage bank has benefits for environmental sustainability, economy, and community empowerment. Kanci Bersinar Garbage Bank is one form of realization of environmental stewardship. Bank Sampah Kanci Bersinar is located in Kanci village 2 Salamkanci Magelang. However, the activities of the garbage bank have not fully gone smoothly. One obstacle in running a garbage bank is the factor of public awareness about the important role of the waste bank. Optimization efforts need to be done so that the activities of the garbage bank are in line with expectations. Optimization efforts are carried out by the University of Muhammadiyah Magelang through the Dedicated Community Services program. The optimization of the waste bank is carried out through the activities of caring for waste, creating a nutrition garden in the environment of the waste bank and making an application for waste bank management. Through the efforts to optimize the garbage bank, the Team has been able to increase public awareness about the role of the garbage bank and can improve the management of the waste bank in carrying out its activities. Produksi sampah di Indonesia selalu meningkat setiap tahunnya. Perlu dilakukan upaya untuk pengurangan sampah salah satunya dengan mendirikan bank sampah. Bank sampah memiliki manfaat bagi kelestarian lingkungan, ekonomi, hingga pemberdayaan masyarakat. Bank Sampah Kanci Bersinar merupakan salah satu bentuk realisasi kepedulian terhadap lingkungan. Bank Sampah Kanci Bersinar terletak di Dusun Kanci 2 Salamkanci Magelang. Namun, kegiatan bank sampah belum sepenuhnya berjalan lancar. Salah satu kendala dalam menjalankan bank sampah adalah faktor kesadaran masyarakat mengenai peran penting bank sampah. Perlu dilakukan upaya optimalisasi agar kegiatan bank sampah sesuai dengan harapan. Upaya Optimalisasi dilakukan oleh Universitas Muhammadiyah Magelang melalui program Pengabdian Pada Masyarakat Terpadu. Optimalisasi bank sampah dilakukan melalui kegiatan sosialisasi peduli sampah, membuat kebun gizi di lingkungan bank sampah dan membuat aplikasi pengelolaan bank sampah. Melalui upaya optimalisasi bank sampah yang telah dilakukan dapat meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat mengenai peran bank sampah dan dapat meningkatkan pengelolaan bank sampah dalam melaksanakan kegiatannya. This research is motivated to find out the influence of mass media on students' political awareness. The role of mass media in the era of globalization provides a very large role in providing information to students, especially as a voter beginner or 17 years old. Through the media, information about politics is widely spread quickly and widely. The role of PPKn teachers in dealing with the influence of the mass media is the existence of political education provided to students in PPKn subjects. The results showed that at SMK Negeri 1 Cianjur the influence of the mass media on political awareness of students was very large. Technology has a very important role in this case social media, print media and electronic media which contains a lot of information and the role of PPKn teachers as educators in providing understanding to students so that they use mass media more wisely and aim so that the knowledge obtained can be used in community environment, in order to increase student participation, especially in any political activities. Thus, the influence of mass media can significantly increase political awareness (political awareness) of students and be democratic (democratic attitude).Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi untuk mengetahui pengaruh media massa terhadap kesadaran berpolitik siswa. Peran media massa di era globalisasi memberikan peran yang sangat besar dalam memberikan informasi kepada siswa khususnya sebagai pemilih pemula atau berusia 17 tahun. Melalui media, informasi mengenai politik banyak tersebar secara cepat dan meluas. Peran guru PPKn dalam menghadapi pengaruh media massa yaitu dengan adanya pendidikan politik yang diberikan kepada siswa dalam mata pelajaran PPKn. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa di SMK Negeri 1 Cianjur pengaruh media massa terhadap kesadaran berpolitik siswa sangat besar. Teknologi memiliki peran yang sangat penting dalam hal ini media sosial, media cetak dan media elektronik yang di dalamnya banyak memuat informasi dan peran guru PPKn sebagai pendidik dalam memberikan pemahaman kepada siswa sehingga memanfaatkan media massa dengan lebih bijaksana dan bertujuan agar pengetahuan yang diperoleh dapat digunakan dalam lingkungan masyarakat, guna meningkatkan partisipasi siswa khususnya dalam setiap kegiatan-kegiatan politik. The study examined the role of political education and Information Communication Technology (ICT) for sustainable democracy in Nigeria. The paper conceptualized political education and IC T for sustainable democracy. The paper adopted observation and secondary methods of data gathering. The paper argued that electoral violence and fraud that marred conducted elections in Nigeria was  due to decades of military rule that militarized the psyche of most Nigerians, and lack of continuous political education to redirect the militarized mentality they do display in electoral process, to democratized mentality to sustain democracy in Nigeria. This is because the anti-democratic mentality of most Nigerians has created loopholes for politicians to manipulate the electoral process which portents a threat to democracy in Nigeria. The paper revealed that continuous political education through the use of ICT tools like social network sites will create political awareness that will enlighten Nigerians to deter them from electoral violence and fraud, and other related anti-democratic behaviour to bring about sustainable democracy in Nigeria. Therefore, the paper recommends among others, that the Nigerian government should liaise with advanced countries that have successfully built ICT in their democratic governance, to see areas where they can collaborate to ensure stable use of ICT facilities in Nigeria. The study aims to discuss the social exchange relationship "symbiotic mutualism" mutual benefit between society and political parties. The author sees, the community's perspective saw political activity it is still perceived as something dirty, tends to apathy, not as a means of political struggle to make a profit.  The purpose of this study is to uncover more conceptual facts of favorable relationships to two parties so that political activity is then a place of healthy and conducive struggle, which is not contrary to the rules of the law.  The method of collecting data in this study is to use the primary data of political sociology core literacy, then to use secondary data on the relevance of social reality to strengthen primary data. This study of the symbiotic mutualism relationship is very beneficial to build the political awareness of the community and the elite of political parties to support development, whether it is the development of material and non-material, so that political activities become beneficial for all circles, not even in the left.

The junior high school is an institution used for the activities of learn of teachers as well as the river subsides be left to be liberal and generous has so far obtained teaching subject corresponding to its field. School would be one of the places where to educate anak-anak with a view to give the science which is given to be they can be useful for a nation and country. This study aims to to see how the role of of the schools in political education. The fact that there are official middle east news agency hoax in indonesia quite disturbing and extremely dangerous for the community especially students of becoming professional actors , in order to do this schools are obliged to increase political awareness students. Was used in the study a method of descriptive of it is anticipated that analysis. The role of school showed that school is the role of most important education for made by media political education that can be educate political students via with the program political education both through subjects pkn, osis activities, extracurricular, and the form of other activities that planned manner and is open to give political information to students.
