This study is the part of the outcome of the research work on quality of engineering education in Nepal. Some 246 respondents among the stakeholders of engineering education were referred in this research. In the course of time, the pace of development of the engineering education is appreciable. However, there are the voices from different stakeholders that the existing level of graduating engineers from Nepal are not meeting the standard demanded by the market. In the course of time, pressure has been intensified to respond this in prevailing education system. This has developed concern over the competency parameters as the tools of quality in engineering higher education. This study, therefore is an attempt to explore the competency level of the graduating engineers of Nepal. Distance learning is currently one of the most topical problems at the intersection of technical and pedagogical disciplines. The widespread introduction of distance learning in secondary and higher education has revealed a significant layer of problems that should be addressed by information technologies specialists, teachers, scientists, psychologists in cooperation with officials. The article discusses the main problems that arose during the transition to distance learning, the solution of which will raise the quality of education to a new level, including after the end of the new type of coronavirus pandemic. The authors highlight the organizational, technical and social problems in the process of organizing distance learning, the totality of which can be considered as a challenge to the education system.

The purpose of the student scientific society is to organize student research, promote the quality of scientific and practical training of students, expand their general and professional worldview, meet other needs and interests, which is an integral part of the successful development of the institution. Therefore, students of the faculty are active participants in All-Ukrainian competitions of scientific works, student Olympiads, where they constantly certify a high educational, methodological, and scientific level of training, receiving victories and prizes. The purpose of the study is to cover and analyze the student scientific society in higher education and at the Faculty of Social and Psychological Education of PTUSPU, in particular, as the main centre of organization and involvement of students in research. Methodology. The features of the student scientific society have been revealed using methods of analysis, synthesis and generalization of regulations and documents, its research work at the faculty. Results and practical significance. It has been found that the activities of the faculty of the Student Scientific Society contribute to the intensification of the student's research work as one of the most important means of improving the quality of training with higher education and the development of scientific thinking and creativity. It is determined that due to the activity of the society students develop skills of independent scientific activity.

Since gaining independence, Kazakhstan has been carrying out active reforms in the field of higher education. This, in turn, led to a systematic policy of transition to a market economy. The research work will include the current state of the higher education sector in Kazakhstan and further development provided for by the Bologna process. In the course of the study, several typologies will be identified to visualize how the education system in Kazakhstan has revolutionized. Analytical methods, such as pie charts and graphs, are also used to analyze research data. The study discusses the need to improve the quality of human capital by improving and modernizing the higher education system. Domestic higher education plays a vital role in the professional training of competent and globally competitive specialists for all sectors of the economy of Kazakhstan.

Система высшего образования развивается не в изоляции. Она находится в непосредственной зависимости от школьной системы и от рынка труда. С одной стороны, образовательные результаты, полученные в университете, зависят от уровня знаний и навыков, которые получили студенты на предыдущем этапе образования, с другой стороны, ожидаемое высокое качество жизни, которое является ключевой мотивацией для поступления в вуз для большинства населения, определяется состоянием и структурой рынка труда. Именно наличие спроса на продуктивную рабочую силу определяет результативность системы высшего образования. The higher education system does not develop in isolation. It is directly dependent on the school system and the labor market. On the one hand, the educational results obtained at the University depend on the level of knowledge and skills that students received at the previous stage of education, on the other hand, the expected high quality of life, which is a key motivation for entering the University for the majority of the population, is determined by the state and structure of the labor market. It is the demand for productive labor that determines the effectiveness of the higher education system.

Each country in the world has its own individual approaches to the quality assurance system of higher education, so the quality of educational services in each country is different. The developing countries should be guided by the standards and recommendations put forward by the world’s leading countries in the field of the assurance system of higher education in order to improve the quality of education services. The purpose of the scientific investigation is to formulate the objectives and analyze the practical aspects of functioning of the quality assurance system of higher education. In the study’s framework of the practical aspects of the higher education’s quality in European Union’s countries, the methods of general analysis have been used, including comparison and grouping; at the same time, the presentation of statistics is also demonstrated by graphical methods. The practical aspects of quality assurance of higher education in European Union’s countries have been analyzed, which is reflected in the dynamics of the number of students who have received higher education, the structure of higher education degree seeking applicants, the employment rate of graduates who have graduated from higher education institutions (Employment rates of recent graduates), the World University Rankings, the Europe Teaching Rankings, rating of the strength of the higher education system (the QS Higher Education System Strength Rankings). Proposals for ensuring the proper quality of higher education and a high level of educational services to educational institutions of the European Union have been presented.

This research work-in-progress deals with a holistic analysis of the impacts of Industry 4.0 (I4.0) for engineering education especially for University undergraduate (level 4-6), master (level 7) and PhD related manufacturing, automotive engineering and supply chain management programmes in United Kingdom higher education institutions. This analysis aims at providing support for further consolidated recommendations to enable the development of higher education engineering curriculum for enhancing I4.0 application for smart organisations and industrial companies within the digital supply chains. Also the paper provides an analysis of advancement from digitalisation in engineering education to the implementation of Education 4.0 and related practices of smart labs, and simulation of smart factories leading at the learning factory. A conceptual framework to support the application of big data and learning analytics in the School of Engineering from University of Wales Trinity St David, Swansea, United Kingdom has been identified, discussed and intended to apply in the context of applying learning analytics.

The paper put forward hypotheses that the conditions for the formation of human capital in the education system and the quality of education are decreasing, that the transition to a post-industrial economic system provides a priority demand and stimulation of the work of highly qualified specialists with higher education. To assess the hypotheses, an analysis carried out using Rosstat data on the structure of unemployment by education levels and on the level of wages of employed workers with different levels of education. The generalization of the results of the analysis made it possible to establish that the value of human capital formed in the education system, the quality of education is steadily decreasing. The human capital of workers, formed in the higher education system, is most in demand in modern conditions, but the quality of higher education, the value of the human capital formed in the process of obtaining it, is steadily decreasing. The reason for the decline in the quality of education is the administrative and control style of management used in the education system and the outdated form of strategic management based on the application of orders, standards and control, which, being inherited from the industrial economy and, as is known, is ineffective and ineffective. The education system is forever changing, with the purpose of improving young people’s chances of employment, supplying the market with sufficient quantities of competitive, skilled workers of quality [Zsarnoczky, 2015]. This is especially true for the field of tourism and hospitality, for this industry has become one of the most dynamically growing segments of today’s economy, in quantitative terms [Forgács and Loboda, 2003]. In order to make it an important part of the national economy, the quality of innovative training and ensuring that there will be new generations of professionals is just as important as making use of natural resources and advantages and innovative training gives us opportunity to teach and prepare tourism experts and they are trained for finding new prospects of tourism. The aims of this research paper are to explore the actual effect of innovative training in tourism education and hospitality, to investigate current quality of teaching tourism as a subject in higher education system: colleges, institutions and universities of Uzbekistan and analyze the importance of innovative training in tourism education and developing hospitality prospects in Uzbekistan.

In article ways of maintenance of quality of higher education in Belarus are considered. It is shown that they are the result of interaction of two tendencies. The first is inheritance and development of traditions of the Soviet education system. Belarus system tries to conserve fundamentality and scientific character of the contents of education, to keep in basis the orientation on Five years' term of training. The second one is use the consequences of world processes, such as mass character of higher education, its practical orienta-tion, Influence of market relations on education, etc. All establishments of education of an education system of Belarus are subjected to the state control. Irrespective of subordination and patterns of ownership of establishments of education the state con-trol is carried out as: – Self-checking which is carried out by establishments as the procedure which is carried out for an internal estimation of quality of education under the program worked out by establishment education or as a necessary stage of the certification which are carried out in the order, developed by department of quality assurance of education; – Inspections of establishments spent by department of quality assurance of education and other competent bodies; – Inspections by department of quality assurance of education of committees, departments of educa-tion of local executive and administrative bodies. Monitoring of quality of education at a level of universities is carried out in the form of the current and final certification of students for the certain period of training (a semester, a rate, all period of training). Oral, written and practical forms are used. Forms of certification of students are determined by educational standards of specialities. For the first time standards of specialties of higher education in republic have been developed in 1998-1999. In 2008 standards of new generation (361 specialities) have been created. In standards results of modernization of system of the higher school are reflected: two-level preparation of the graduate (the special-ist, the master); the differentiated terms of preparation of the graduate at the first level (from 4 till 6 years of training on a speciality); competent approach to formation of model of the specialist; increasing of controlled independent work of students in total amount training hours; orientation to innovative techniques and tech-nologies of teaching. The problem which is necessary to solve is to update of the training courses content from scientific and practical point of view. It is difficult because this step may lead to including more information that stu-dent is able to get. In this case it is important to emphasize that methodology of education is opposite to methodology of development of knowledge in science. In a science, as it is known, speaking computer language, change of operational system occurs from time to time. It allows to state information of past periods simply and briefly. There is reconsideration and re-structuring of all volume of the scientific information from the point of view of a new scientific paradigm. Changes of scientific knowledge in the content of training courses also should be nonlinear both on time and on intensity of the response to changes occurring in a science. During normal (extensive) develop-ment of a science the new knowledge can quite take root into educational process in an additive mode. Intro-duction of the knowledge which has arisen during change of a scientific paradigm demands radical transfor-mation of forms and methods of training and even phase transition of all education system. Differently, the content and methodology of education, following by the changes in a science and practice, should vary peri-odically to provide quality of preparation of specialists according to modern social and culture realities.
