scholarly journals DOMINANT ORGANIZATIONAL CULTURE IN FACULTIES OF PHYSICAL EDUCATION: APPLIED STUDY OF FACULTY OF PHYSICAL EDUCATION – UNIVERSITY OF JORDAN

The current research aims to measure the dominant organizational culture inside Faculties ‎of physical education with specific application on the faculty of physical education – ‎Jordan University‎. The researcher used the descriptive approach‎. Research community included all workers and faculty members of faculty of physical ‎education for men – Jordan University (n=556). Main sample (n=176) was chosen ‎purposefully in addition to another (30) persons chosen as a pilot sample. The researcher designed and validated ‎-‎ The Type of Dominant Organizational Culture Questionnaire designed (TDOC-‎Q)‎. Results indicated that: ‎-For axis one (Types of Leadership and Administration): results of perceived ‎administration indicated that (44) participants agreed on the supportive type of ‎organizational culture while (49) agreed on procedural type for types and styles ‎of administration, (46) agreed on supportive type for quality responsibility, (48) ‎agreed on supportive type for inclusive change and improvement, (44) agreed on ‎supportive type for motivation, (47) agreed on creative type for leadership type ‎and finally (45) agreed on supportive type for workers’ participation. ‎ ‎-‎For axis two (Administrative Structure): (45) agreed on supportive type for ‎administrative communication, (51) agreed on supportive type for work groups, ‎‎(58) agreed on supportive type for clarity of objectives and tasks and (47) agreed ‎on supportive type for education, training and qualification. ‎ ‎-‎For axis three (Human Resources): (42) agreed on bureaucratic type for external ‎agents, (48) agreed on procedural type for internal agents and (47) agreed on ‎supportive type for problem solving. ‎ ‎-‎For axis four (Academic and Educational Processes): (38) agreed on both ‎creative and supportive types ‎ ‎-‎For axis five (Continuous Improvement and Development): (45) agreed on ‎creative type ‎ ‎-‎For axis six (Policies, Procedures and Principles): (62) agreed on creative type ‎ ‎-‎For axis seven (Laws, Rules and Regulations): (48) agreed on supportive type ‎ ‎-‎For axis eight (Performance Evaluation): (40) agreed on supportive type

<p>This research is aimed at obtaining information related to the affect of the <br />leadership style, organizational culture, and employees’ trust on organizational <br />commitment. Research has been implemented using path analysis after all variables put into a matrix of correlation. In this research, employees had been chosen as a unit analysis and 65 samples selected randomly. The results of research found out that: (1) there is direct affect of leadership style on employees’ trust; (2) there is direct affect of organizational culture on employees’ trust; (3) there is direct affect of leadership style on organizational commitment; (4) there is direct affect of organizational culture on organizational commitment; and (5) there is direct affect of employees’ trust on <br />organizational commitment. Based on those findings it could be concluded that any changing or variation which occurred to the organizational commitment of Basic Education Office in West Jakarta had been effected by leadership style, organizational culture, and trust to employees. Therefore, leadership style, organizational culture, and employees’ trust should be put into strategic planning of human resources development in increasing the organizational commitment of Basic Education Office in West Jakarta, however other variables are necessary to be taken into account properly. <br /> <br /><br /></p>

The research aims to know the executive attention and its relationship to psychological empowerment in the Faculties of Physical Education and Sports Sciences among the faculty members and in the variables of the study, the two researchers used the descriptive approach to suit it to the nature of the research. As for the research sample, it was represented by a group of male and female physical education teachers in four universities of (100) teaching staff And teaching The two researchers designed two measures (executive attention) and the scale (psychological empowerment) and distributed them to the sample electronically. The results were processed statistically through the Statistical Package Program (SPSS). The two researchers concluded that the teachers possessed the research sample both from executive attention and psychological empowerment. And its impact on shaping the student’s personality and developing it through the educational media and publications

The article presents the results of improving the parameters and characteristics of modern production processes by introducing the modernized Deming PDCA cycle. It is shown that the proposed integrated management system is applicable in educational processes, which makes it possible to significantly simplify the implementation of the principle of continuous improvement.

On the performance of staff in the Saudi Red Crescent. The researcher used the analytical descriptive method, using the questionnaire performance to measure the opinions of the respondents using the statistical analysis program (SPSS) to analyze the data collected. The results of the study confirm the existence of an effect in applying the comprehensive quality standards on the job performance in the Saudi Red Crescent Authority at a high level on all criteria, and the study also found that the level of application of the comprehensive quality standards with all its criteria (continuous improvement, zero errors, focus on the beneficiaries) where It represents between 3.39 and 3.57 out of 5, and the level of job performance in the Saudi Red Crescent Authority is relatively high, as it represents 3.33 out of 5. The study recommends the need to pay attention to the application of TQM standards and to focus on the most important standards and impact on job performance.

This study aimed to evaluate the master program of curriculum and science instruction in Taibah University in the light of the standards of council for the accreditation of educator preparation (CAEP). To achieve that, the study applied a questionnaire on the research population that consisted of all the faculty members (7) in the curriculum and science instruction specialty. And all the students (7) in the curriculum and science instruction specialty. The questioner consisted of (32) items distributed on the (CAEP) five standards: Content and Pedagogical Knowledge, Clinical Partnerships and Practice, Candidate Quality and Selectivity, Program Impact, Provider Quality Assurance and Continuous Improvement. The results showed that (CAEP) standards are highly available in the program with an average of (3.46) where: Content and Pedagogical Knowledge comes first with an average of (3.67) then Candidate Quality and Selectivity (3.51), Program Impact (3.45), Clinical Partnerships and Practice (3.41), and they all were highly available. And in the last place Provider Quality Assurance and Continuous Improvement (3.08) with a medium availability in the program. And the results showed that There were no significant differences at the level of significance(α≤0.05) between the faculty members and students responds of (CAEP) standards availability in the program. The study recommended prepare the curriculum and science instruction specialty to import (CAEP) standards. and perform more studies about (CAEP) standards.

This study aimed to identify the degree of academic leaders’ practice of excellence management in public and private Jordanian universities (Yarmouk University, University of Science and Technology, Al Al-Bayt University, Irbid National University, Jadara University, and Jerash University) from the faculty members’ viewpoint. The descriptive survey method was adopted and to achieve the objectives of the study, a questionnaire was built to measure the degree of practicing excellence management consisting of (32) items distributed into (4) areas: leadership (10) items, policies, and strategies (5) items, human resources (5) items, and partnerships and resources (12) items. The study population consisted of all the (2077) faculty members in the Jordanian public and private universities in the first semester of the academic year 2020/2021. Where the study sample consisted of (405) academics who constitute (19%) of the study population. and were selected by a random stratified method. The results showed that the overall degree of academic leaders' practicing of excellence management in the public and private Jordanian universities was moderate, and the order of the areas on the scale was respectively as follows; Partnerships and Resources, leadership, Policies and strategies, and human resources, and that all of these areas came at a moderate degree. The results also showed that there were statistically significant differences at the level of statistical significance (α = 0.05) between the estimates of respondents in all areas (leadership, policies and strategies, human resources, partnerships, and resources) attributable to the difference in; the gender variable in favor of males, academic rank in favor of the professor, and the type of university in favor of public universities. Regarding these results, the researcher recommends giving more attention to the Department of Excellence, especially in the field of leadership, as well as the inclusion of Excellence Management as a basic criterion of performance quality standards in Jordanian public and private universities.

This study aimed to identify the effect of continuous improvement of medical services provided to patients , represented by the computerized Hakim medical program from the point of view of the medical staff workers, which is an applied study on KhreibetAl-Souq Comprehensive Medical Center after using the Hakim program. The researcher distributed (28) questionnaires on the study sample, i.e. approximately (40%) of the study population of (70) staff employees. (26) questionnaires were retrieved, and after checking the retrieved questionnaires, two questionnaires were excluded because they were not valid for statistical analysis, and accordingly, the number retrieved and valid for statistical analysis reached (24) questionnaires. The study reached several conclusions, the most important of which is that there is a statistically significant impact of continuous improvement represented by Hakim's computerized medical program on medical services provided to patients from the point of view of the medical staff, and that continuing to make improvements in work processes and procedures will lead to providing medical services to patients and beneficiaries, according to the requirements of both the beneficiaries and the medical employees, and will also lead to (more effective) arrangement, speed up and organization of work procedures and saves time and effort for both the medical workers and the beneficiaries, KEYWORDS: continuous improvement, hakim medical program, medical services, medical computing company, requirements of clients

The Navy Debriefing Service is a central implementing agency whose main task is a series of supply chain management, which has several problems related to the uneven competence of Disbekal personnel, limited human resources and lack of creation, innovation, improvisation, as a result of the large number of personnel who have been around for a long time. served in Disbekal. So the purpose of this research is to analyze the influence of competence and the influence of organizational culture partially on the work productivity of Disbekal. As well as analyzing the influence of competence and organizational culture simultaneously on the work productivity of Disbekal. Descriptive verification research method with data analysis techniques using Path Analysis. The number of samples is 88 personnel, with data collection through stratified random sampling. The results showed that there was a significant influence between competence, and organizational culture on the work productivity of the TNI AL debriefing service partially and simultaneously. Where the direct influence of the competence variable is 30.2%, and the organizational culture variable is 18.5%. The total effect is 68.1% overall, while 39.1% is the influence of other factors that were not researched.
