In today's context, the issue of the physical culture and sports masters professional training reforming in higher education institutions of Ukraine in accordance with world standards is particularly acute. In this context, Ukraine's integration into the European space requires a constant study of the international experience of education systems. Austrian higher education institutions are among the best in Europe and in the world, with centuries of experience and tradition in teaching. The article analyses the educational programs and features of master's educational programs in sports sciences, which are developed and approved at the leading universities of Austria - Vienna University, Innsbruck University Leopold and Franz. Undergraduates receive competencies in the scientific, technical, medical, humanistic and social-sciences sub-sectors of sports science to solve practical issues in sports, motor activity. They are capable of independent development and implementation of scientific projects. We believe that it is possible to selectively transmit the Austrian system to the national model of higher education institutions, which prepare masters of physical culture and sports, functioning. This model enables effective integration of national education into the European and global educational space.

The article reveals the peculiarities of the use of athletics to improve the physical fitness of students of higher education institutions. The influence of physical education on motivation for athletics is also revealed. It is established that the use of means and methods of athletics in physical education classes in higher education institutions leads to a significant increase in the level of physical fitness. It was found that one of the factors influencing the growth of student morbidity and low level of their physical development is the lack of physical activity. The combination of these factors determines the level of physical fitness and efficiency, which, in turn, are important indicators of professional training of students. However, the use of other methods of strength development, the method of unsatisfactory efforts with a normalized number of repetitions, the method of unsatisfactory efforts with the maximum number of repetitions, the method of dynamic efforts, the shock method, the method of static efforts, the static-dynamic method, the method of circular training, the game method has a beneficial effect on the development of all physical qualities. The decrease in the indicators of general physical fitness is facilitated by the fact that during the holidays, students practically do not go in for sports on their own. As the analysis of the survey has shown, only students of higher educational institutions are independently engaged in physical culture.

The article considers the historical preconditions and prospects of professional training of specialists in the field of documentation management and information activities. The modern system of management documentation was preceded by a long period of development and formation associated with changes in socio-economic and socio-political conditions, the relevant historical forms of organization of management processes and its documentation. In turn, the complexity of record-keeping and document-making processes, the development of the document-information market formed the requirements for a document-specialist who would have a universal modern education: possessed knowledge, skills in document science and information activities, and skillfully operated in practice acquired management competencies . The formation of a modern system of documentation management and training of specialists in the relevant field in Ukraine took place in line with the general historical processes of development of our state. The peculiarities of educational programs of higher education institutions that train applicants in the specialty 029 «Information, library and archival affairs» are analyzed. It is noted that the analysis of educational programs of higher education institutions in the capital and the region shows that modern freelance students receive quality knowledge through clear new educational programs, innovative technologies, open access to information via the Internet and social institutions - libraries and archives. Future professionals are trained to work with information through new electronic tools, banks and databases. The introduction of electronic document management, the experience of leading countries, new technologies significantly increases professional requirements, encourages constant updating and improving the training of Ukrainian document specialists. In the conclusions it is generalized that document science as a science and as an academic discipline was initiated in the process of development of two branches of practical activity - office work and archival business, within which the logical development of the theory directly depended on practice; at all stages of the transformation of their historical path was directly dependent on the socio-economic demands of society and the improvement of the management segment of document science; The need for highly qualified specialists in the field of document science in the modern labor market is constantly growing, which explains the large number of free economic zones in which high-quality training of document specialists in unique educational programs.

Management in the higher education system is usually carried out by managers from representatives of scientific and pedagogical personnel who do not have special professional training to realize the rights and fulfill obligations determined by legislative and regulatory documents. The management effectiveness of a manager in a higher education institution depends largely on the personal characteristics of a leader, but competencies that cannot be formed without special knowledge are a mandatory component of his productivity. The article examined the extent to which the requirements for creating standards and already existing standards provide the basis for the formation of readiness of graduates of educational programs of the second (master's) level of higher education for managerial activities in higher education institutions. Based on the analysis of the legislative and regulatory framework, it has been found to what extent the State standards of higher education of the new generation, the requirements for their creation, the description of general and subject competencies, the program results of training determined by their content, the National Framework of Qualifications of Ukraine, the description of the framework levels of higher education provide the foundations for preparing for managerial activities graduates of educational programs of the second (master's) level. It was established that at the seventh level of the NQF, the formation of specialized conceptual knowledge is provided, including modern scientific achievements in the field of professional activity or the field of knowledge and is the basis for original thinking, critical understanding of problems in the industry and on the verge of knowledge industries; Problem solving skills/skills required for... innovation to develop new knowledge and procedures, the ability to integrate knowledge and address complex challenges in broad or multidisciplinary contexts, problems in new or unfamiliar environments with incomplete or limited information, taking into account aspects of social and ethical responsibility; communication (interaction of persons for the purpose of transmitting information, coordination of actions, joint activities), as an understandable and unambiguous communication of their own knowledge, conclusions and arguments to specialists and non-specialists; responsibility and autonomy, such as the management of work or training processes, which are complex, unpredictable and require new strategic approaches, assessing the results of teams and teams. On the basis of the analysis of internal relations, which are mandatory in the process of creating standards and educational programs, it is necessary that the existing system, combined with the requirements for the quality of higher education, fully provide the basis for the formation of general competencies among graduates of educational programs of the second (master's) level of higher education for managerial activities in higher education institutions.

The study provides an analysis of skills required for journalists to use information and communication technologies in professional practice in accordance with modern challenges. The main objective of the present article is to substantiate the need to form the journalist’s instrumental competence in the professional training framework in the specialty “Journalism” in higher education institutions of Ukraine. Methodology: theoretical (abstraction, concretization and generalization of scientific research, pedagogical and professional experience), general (analysis, synthesis, analogy and extrapolation of the analyzed issue to the current state of professional journalism training in Ukraine). Findings and conclusions: 1) as a result of the documentary research, the concept of “instrumental competence of a journalist” (ICJ) was revealed; 2) based on the results of the analytic review of scientific sources and educational documents, the relevant components of journalists’ instrumental competence (knowledge/skills related to software mastering, digital resources and technologies for creating and disseminating media content) are identified; 3) based on the analysis of educational programs in the specialty “Journalism” in Ukrainian higher education institutions, we postulate the need to revise the principles of blocks formation of disciplines aimed at mastering students’ ICJ. Avenues for further research are proposed, in particular, search for mechanisms to maintain a balance between academic knowledge and technological skills in journalism educational programs, which primarily requires the study of positive experiences of modernization of journalism education.

Currently, special attention should be paid to the issue of humanities masters training, in particular, future physical culture teachers and lecturers, who take an active part in the formation of a healthy lifestyle of student youth. The article grounds contemporary approaches to the professional training of future masters of secondary education in physical culture in the higher education institutions of Ukraine. The normative arrangement of master's status in the system of positions and activities, related to the effective establishment of the interaction of educational services sphere and labour market, remains the most problematic issue today. In the situation of absence of an educational standard for speciality 014 Secondary Education (Physical Culture) by the second (master's) level of higher education, currently, in the domestic educational space, there is a wide range of approaches to understanding the status and specifics of the organization of professional training of physical culture secondary education future masters. The analysis of the informational content of the state educational electronic resource of Unified State Electronic Database on Education (USEDE) allowed determining that 30 Ukrainian higher education institutions including national universities, pedagogical and specialized higher educational establishments carry out the training of such specialists. The process of defining the specifics and status of a master's degree in the training of secondary education physical culture specialists developed by various teams of authors differs by diverse approaches concerning the understanding of its peculiarities. The variety of educational and professional programs of their training is manifested in the content, structure, variable part ensuring, and different approaches to practical training and organization of state certification. The increase of training efficiency of physical culture secondary education masters for pedagogical activity consists in constant updating of the content, the establishment of an expedient ratio of semantic and practical activity components, and use of the newest pedagogical, informational and computer technologies. The realization of scientific support of the educational process will contribute to the formation of future specialists’ pedagogical orientation and interest to the professional and pedagogical knowledge.

The article discusses the current state of professional training of engineers, in particular, electronics engineers in Ukrainian higher education institutions (HEIs) and explores best practices from US HEIs. The research outlines the features of professional training of electronics engineers and recent changes in Ukrainian HEIs. Such challenges for Ukrainian HEIs as lack of collaboration between higher education and science with industry, R&D cost reduction for HEIs, and downsizing the research and academic staff, the disparity between the available quality of human capital training and the demanded are addressed. The study attempts to identify successful practices of US HEIs professional training of engineers in order to suggest potential improvements in education, research, and innovation for training electronics engineers in Ukraine.

The article explores the task of making higher education more profession-oriented. In this context, we consider the technology of structuring and matching professional activities and content of professional education curricula with the help of ontology. This technology employs intelligent analysis of labor market and educational content matching with the aim to organize educational programs and verify professional competences based on their ontological properties. The article also considers development of a professional training cognitive map that can help design the student’s personalized educational trajectory factoring in the given parameters.

Higher education institutions face the challenge that their graduates have the competences that allows them to quickly enter to the labor market and obtain an adequate economic remuneration. us graduate satisfaction is a key element in the assessment of the quality of institutions, since it allows us to know their perception regarding the quality received in their professional training. e objective is study the quality of higher education institutions and the satisfaction of the graduate in the Autonomous University of Tamaulipas. e methodology is descriptive and transversal  based on graduates information and satisfaction. As a result, Students are satisfied with their professional training received and their expectations were met since the academic level of the institution is good. It is concluded that studies on student satisfaction are useful for higher education institutions to identify educational and administrative priorities about the service they provide.

The object of research is the process of forming the spelling competence of future teachers of the New Ukrainian School. Investigated problem. The spelling competence of students of higher education institutions as a component of linguistic and communication competence is presented in the article. The problem of the formation of linguistic and communicative competence, in particular spelling, is of particular relevance in connection with the introduction of the new edition of Ukrainian spelling. In the context of current requirements for the professional training of future specialists of the New Ukrainian School, the role of test monitoring as a form of diagnostics and control of spelling and punctuation literacy of higher education students is increasing, which allows to objectively evaluate the spelling of students’ skills, improve the organization of educational activities and in modern universities. The main scientific results. A brief overview of the history of testing use in the educational process is provided in scientific intelligence. The positive and negative factors of the introduction of testing in the process of studying the spelling material of modern Ukrainian literary language are determined. Guidelines for the development of spelling test tasks in modern Ukrainian have been made. The article proposes test tasks of closed and open forms for monitoring the spelling knowledge, abilities and skills of students of institutions of higher education after studying the topic «Letter doubling». The field of practical use of research results. The results of the study can be used by teachers of higher education who are working on the problem of formation and improvement of spelling literacy of applicants for higher education institutions, as test monitoring allows promptly checking students’ educational achievements, determining how thoroughly and correctly each student has mastered one or another spelling knowledge, skills. The methodical recommendations for the development of spelling tests of modern Ukrainian language, the proposed test tasks on the subject of «Letter doubling» can be applied in the study of such subjects as «Modern Ukrainian language with a practicum», «Practice in Ukrainian spelling» for students of specialty 013 «Primary education», 014 «Secondary education», specialization «Ukrainian language and literature» of higher education institutions.
