The burden of responsibility to be the figure head of Pondok Pesantren in ensuring the quality of learning that many are faced with the challenge-the challenge of change civilization. Need a high loyalty, integrity full, is able to provide the best individual performance of the Leader of the multi-talented, in educating students with heartfelt, sincere, be personal loved ones and have an attraction worthy of being a role model to all people, be uswah at once has an example in life.. Dissertation using Qualitative Methods, the study about research are descriptive and tend to use the analysis. The process and the meaning is accentuated in qualitative research. The foundation of the theory be used as a guide in order to focus the research in accordance with the facts in the field. The results showed that, of charismatic leadership on a figure Kyai is a skill that consists of a art print life skills of the students and the art of managing a team of educators. Not just the skills to manage an organization, but must be coupled with the ability to supervise, direct, and motivate, in a way that is efficient and effective. Leadership that gives the effect of depth and incredible to motivate their followers in achieving the performance of the ideal. Theory-based Learning friendly students is the process of transper material science and the transformation of implementation science that is adapted to the capacity of students to more easily follow and apply them in real life. Between the Caregiver as the executor of education should be able to mengkulturasikan with primary sources that are used as a reference science students as a provision sailing on life. The Kyai/Sitter Boarding school Fauzan Sukaresmi Garut as well as the elements of Management of a charismatic figure of the presence of the self they are required to master the five basic competence i.e. the Competences of the Spiritual, Personality Competence, Competency Management, Entrepreneurship Competency, Competence, Supervision, and Social Competence.

Whether or not Islamic education is highly dependent on the quality of leadership that is in it, an Islamic education leader must be able to direct his lead to achieve educational goals. In this journal discusses Al-Ghazali's thoughts about ideal leadership in Islamic education. This study uses literature review through primary sources from Al-Ghazali's thought books and secondary from various sources, then analyzed and criticized using content analysis. The research results obtained are that in substance the leadership must always aim to achieve the pleasure of Allah Almighty. Al-Ghazali always puts on all activities aimed at achieving the pleasure of Allah Almighty. There are four basic components of personal leaders in the world of Islamic education. First he must have managerial skills that are able to make planning, organizing, implementing and evaluating. Second, he must have a trustful and responsible nature. Third, he must be a role model, which is a good example so that his leadership feels comfortable carrying out his orders. The fourth is always in running the leadership bound by syara law.

Historical evidence shows that K.H. M.A. Sahal Mahfudh is building the transformative Islamic civilization towards g a prosperous, fair, and progressive Muslim community buildings. Kiai Sahal Mahfudh encourages Muslims to be the best people able to provide profusely expediency to others. According to Kiai Sahal Mahfudh, the best people are productive people, the man who is sensitive to the needs of the environment, controlling information, having organizational competence and high creativity, so that they can create jobs and grow the economy comprehensive insight. For these ideals, the aspect of education, health, and the economy must be developed maximally. These three fields are interrelated and inseparable. Transformative Islamic civilization championed by Kiai Sahal Mahfudh is relevant to maqasidus sharia theory, that is the Islamic law which purposes to keep religion, keep the soul, keep the property, keep the mind and keep the offspring. Kiai Sahal Mahfudh struggle in improving the quality of education in boarding school and university Maslakul Huda, Islamic Mathaliul Falah Kajen in order to keep religion and reason. Economic empowerment in BPPM and BPR Artha Huda Abadi in order to keep the property. While the struggle of Kiai Sahal Mahfudh in establishing Islamic Hospital Pati in order to preserve life and heredity. This study is a qualitative research with the primary sources of Kiai Sahal Mahfudh works. The result of this study is analyzed by the theory of <em>maqasid asy-syari‘ah</em>.

For the final quality of the industrial floors with mineral dry-shake toppings is a decisive factor amount of the mineral dry-shake topping in the course of its implementation. Amount of the mineral dry-shake topping affects mainly on the abrasion resistance, which is critical for the real life of the floor. Another important property is the absorbability of the finished floor and mineral shake-layer coherence with the concrete base. This paper summarizes a study on the ideal amount of mineral dry shake toppings when considering the resulting wear resistance of floor surface finish as well as its water absorption and also the adhesion properties of the studied layer to the concrete base.

Charismatic leadership involves determination, authority, openness, and the optimism of the leaders in Bengkulu City HarsallakumPesantern (Pesantren = Islamic Boarding School). This research uses descriptive method, as well as qualitative case study. The processing of data is done by data reduction, serving of the next, as well as doing the valid checking using triangulation technic, followed by concluding the findings. The result of the research, has swon that the leadership of Pesantren leaders has been a model for the people around. Being an example or a role model has created a harmonic relationship between Santri (cultural 'stream' of people within the population of Javanese who practice a more orthodox version of Islam) with the Usthad (Islamic leader). The prestige of the Pesantren leaders has created an awareness for their subordinates, that to accept, prestige has to rise from the bottom going upwards. The openness of the Pesantren leaders acts truthfully, humble, just, as well as open in accepting opinions and critics from others. The openness of Pesantren leader shows the clearliness in taking decisions, planning process that gives a chance to all subordinates. Optimism of the Pesantren leaders are behaviors that is born or created inside of the leaders in perceiving their problem, facing hardship, and thinking optimistic. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tipe kepemimpinan, cara pengambilan keputusan dan hubungan pemimpin terhadap santri dan lingkungan masyarakat, yang diterapkan K. Tatang Iskandar dalam mengembangkan Pondok Pesantren Raudatul Falah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif-kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi dan wawancara mendalam. Analisis data dilakukan melalui interprestasi dan dihubungkan dengan konteks empiris pemimpin Pondok Pesantren Raudatul Falah. Hasil data penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tipe pimpinan Kiai Tatang Iskandar dalam mengembangkan Pondok Pesantren Raudatul Falah adalah kepemimpinan Demokratis dan Karismatik. Hal tersebut dapat dilihat dari cara beliau dalam pengambilan keputusan yang selalu menggunakan kebersamaan, musyawarah untuk mencapai kata mufakat. Kepemimpinan Kiai Tatang Iskandar sangat menjadi panutan yang baik bagi seorang pemimpin, itu terbukti dengan keberadaan Pondok Pesantren Raudatul Falah yang sampai saat ini masih berdiri kokoh di lingkungan masyarakat. ABSTRACT This research is in accordance with the idea that to achieve certain goals, cooperation between management and leaders is needed. In this case the leader is very significant to achieve these goals. This leadership includes coordination, organizing and controlling members who determine goals and directions to achieve fulfilling goals to carry out activities and connect with other activities, in addition, the leader is also a direction set, an effective, rational, objective and effective communicator. neutral . This research uses descriptive-qualitative research methods. The research steps taken include; Determination of research locations, research methods, determination of data types, collection of data types, data observation is done through observation and in-depth interviews. Data analysis was carried out through interpretation and related to the empirical context of the leader of the Raudatul Falah Islamic Boarding School. The results of the research data indicate that the leadership of Kiai Tatang Iskandar in developing the Raudatul Falah Islamic Boarding School is Democratic and Charismatic leadership. This can be seen from the way in which decisions always use togetherness, deliberation to reach a consensus. The leadership of Kiai Tatang Iskandar is a very good role model for a leader, it is proven by the existence of the Raudatul Falah Islamic Boarding School which is still standing firmly in the community.

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana peran pimpinan pondok pesantren YPI An-Nur Garut dalam penentuan metode dan program pengembangan dakwah dan bentuk pelaksanaan serta evaluasi dalam kegiatan pengembangan dakwah. Metode deskriptif digunakan dalam penelitian ini karena metode ini dipandang relevan untuk menggali dan menganalisis fenomena yang terjadi secara empiris. Teknik penelitian yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan analisis data kualitatif. Berdasarkan pengamatan dan analisis data penelitian, diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa peran KH. Ahmad Badruddin dalam pengembangan dakwah, dipandang sebagai seorang tokoh, pemimpin teladan, juga penghubung. Dalam penentuan metode dalam peningkatan kualitas para da’i, menggunakan tiga. Kemudian program yang dikembangkan, meliputi pengembangan pondok pesantren, madrasah, ekstrakulikuler, serta pembinaan dan pengembangan organisasi. Bentuk pelaksanaan dan evaluasi kegiatan tarbiyatul mubalighin memiliki beberapa mekanisme sendiri, diantaranya dari tahap perencanaan sampai dengan evaluasi. The purpose of this study was to determine the role of the leadership of the YPI An-Nur Garut Islamic boarding school in determining methods and programs for the development of da'wah and the form of implementation and evaluation in the development of da'wah activities. Descriptive method is used in this research because this method is considered relevant for exploring and analyzing phenomena that occur empirically. The research technique used was observation, interviews, documentation, and qualitative data analysis. Based on observations and analysis of research data, it is concluded that the role of KH. Ahmad Badruddin in the development of da'wah, is seen as a figure, a role model, as well as a liaison. In determining the method of improving the quality of the da'i, using three. Then the program developed includes the development of Islamic boarding schools, madrasas, extracurricular activities, as well as coaching and organizational development. The form of implementation and evaluation of tarbiyatul mubalighin activities has several mechanisms of its own, including from planning to evaluation.

AbstractThe purpose of this paper is to reveal how the quality of education in this Islamic boarding school is, particularly related to education facilities, curriculum and strategies of education quality improve­ments. This study used the qualitative method. Findings of this study are: first, education infrastructure and facilities are relatively complete and adequate, which are supported by the atmosphere of the Islamic boarding school that is full of simplicity and modesty by habituation in implementing clean and healthy lifestyle. Second, the tafaqquh fi-al din (understanding of religion)-based curriculum compiled by the Islamic boarding school occupies the same degree (equal) to the curriculum prepared by the Ministry of Religious Affairs, so that both tafaqquh fi-al din (understanding of religion) studies and general studi­es have high electability, which is able to increase the quality of education and also generates interest and motivation of the people (parents) to put their children to the Islamic boarding school. Third, education in the Islamic boarding school has a strong independency because it is supported by substantial financial resources.AbstrakTujuan tulisan ini untuk mengungkapkan bagaimana mutu pendidikan di pondok pesantren ini, khususnya berkaitan dengan sarana pendidikan, kurikulum dan sterategi peningkatan mutu pendidik­an. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif. Hasil temuan studi ini adalah: Pertama, sarana dan fasilitas pendidikan relatif lengkap dan memadai, ini didukung oleh suasana kehidupan pondok pesan­tren yang penuh kesederhanaan dan kebersahajaan dengan pembiasaan menerapkan pola hidup bersih dan sehat. Kedua, kurikulum yang berbasis tafaqquh fi-al din yang disusun oleh pondok pesantren ini menempati derajat yang sama (equal) dengan kurikulum yang disusun Kementerian Agama, sehinga baik kajian tafaqquh fi al-din maupun pelajaran umum memiliki electabilitas yang tinggi, hal ini mampu meningkatkan mutu pendidikan dan sekaligus membangkitkan animo dan motivasi masyarakat (orangtua) untuk memasukkan anaknya ke pesantren ini. Ketiga, penyelenggaraan pendidikan di pon­dok pesantren ini memiliki kemandirian yang kuat, karena didukung oleh sumber dana yang besar.

This paper examines girls and power in British co-educational boarding school stories published from 1928 to 1958. While feminist scholars have hailed the girls’ school story as a site of potential resistance to constricting gender roles, the same can not be said of the co-educational school story. While the genres share many tropes and characterisation, the move from an all-female world to a co-educational setting allows the characters access to a narrower range of gender roles, and renders the female characters significantly less powerful. The disciplinary structures of the co-educational schools, mirroring those in real life, operate in a supposedly progressive manner that in fact removes girls from access to power.
