This study aimed to describe the factors that affect the quality of life of patients with CRF who undergo hemodialysis in dr. M. Yunushospital in Bengkulu 2016. The population of study is 205 people, the sampling technique used was an accidental sampling with a sample of 67 respondents.The results showed nearly all respondents aged smaller than 20 and greather than 35 years, more than the majority of respondents were female, more than the majority of respondents had pretty income or more, almost half of respondents had high levels of depression, more than the majority of respondents had either the family support, more than the majority of respondents had a high quality of life, there was a correlation between age, gender, producer, depression, and family support with quality of life, there was a relationship between sex with the quality of life for CRF patients undergoing hemodialysis in dr. M. Yunus Hospital in Bengkulu 2016.It is advisable for the public to provide health education for families of patients with CRF who undergo hemodialysis therapy on the importance of family support in improving the quality of life of family members. Background: Self efficacy can optimize the quality of life of clients who undergo the healing process due to chronic diseases. Individuals with higher self-efficacy move their personal and social resources proactively to maintain and improve the quality and length of their lives so that they experience a better quality of life. Objectives: the purpose of this study was to find the correlation between self efficacy and quality of life of patients with chronic kidney disease who undergo hemodialysis at RSUD Semarang Regency. Metode: This type of research was descriptive correlation with cross sectional approach. The samples in this study more 76 people with total sampling technique. The data collection tool for self efficacy was measured by General Self-Efficacy scale, for quality of life with WHOQoL-BREF. Statistical test used Kolmogorov-smirnov. Result: The result showed that self efficacy in patients with chronic kidney disease was mostly in moderate category (53,9%), quality of life in patients with chronic kidney disease was mostly in good category (68,4%). There was a correlation between self efficacy and quality of life of patients with chronic kidney disease who undergo hemodialysis at RSUD Semarang Regency, the result obtained p-value of 0.000 <α (0,05). Suggestion: Patients with chronic kidney disease can maintain good quality of life by helping to generate positive self-esteem and high self efficacy.

Patients with a chronic kidney disease encounter medical as well as psychological problems. They have to adjust to the daily changes in life as consequences of the required treatment. The need to take medication regularly, hemodialysis treatment, and reduce mobility because of limitation of physical abilities may cause distress and often impact on their self-esteem. This study aimed to investigate the correlation of self-esteem to quality of life on patients with chronic kidney disease who undergo hemodialysis. The study population is patients who join “Komunitas Hidup Ginjal Muda”, a community of young people with kidney disease in the social media (Facebook) which has 371 members. The incidental sampling technique was applied and resulted in 34 patients joined the study as study participants. The Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale and the Kidney Disease Quality of Life Short Form (version 1.3) were used to collect data. The results of product moment correlation analysis showed that there was a positive and significant correlation between self-esteem and quality of life among chronic kidney disease patients who undergo hemodialysis (r = .417; p = .014).

Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) is a progressive and irreversible disorder of renal function, in which the body's ability to fail to maintain metabolism and balance of fluids and electrolytes, causing uremia. The purpose of this study in general was to determine the relationship between hemoglobin levels and quality of life in chronic kidney disease patients undergoing hemodialysis at dr. M. Yunus Bengkulu. This type of research is descriptive analytic with cross sectional approach. The study sample was 64 patients with CKD who underwent hemodialysis at the hemodialysis installation with accidental sampling technique. The results showed that most patients with chronic kidney disease who underwent haemodialysis (71.9%) had severe anemia and most (56.3%) had a poor quality of life. Chi square test results obtained ρ value 0,000 (α = 0.05). Conclusion, There is a statistically significant correlation between anemia and quality of life in CKD patients undergoing hemodialysis in the RDUD Dr. Hemodialysis room. M. Yunus. Suggested to Dr. Hospital M. Yunus Bengkulu to control the incidence and symptoms of anemia experienced by CKD patients. Keywords: Anemia, Hemodialysis, quality of life, CKD

Background : Chronic kidney disease is a pathophysiological process with diverse etiology, resulting in a progressive decline in renal function, and the patients generally end up with kidney failure. Family support is a support given by families who have blood relations in favor of the health of patients with kidney failure. Quality of life is an individual perception of patients with kidney failure toward his position in life. The aim of this study was to determine the relationship of family support with the quality of life of patients with chronic renal failure undergoing hemodialysis therapy in PMI hospital Bogor. The method of this research uses uses descriptively analytic type with cross sectional approach. The sample of this researchconsists of 129 respondents. The sampling was taken by accidental sampling technique. The instrument in this study were questionnaires family support and quality of life. The data were analyzed by using univariate and bivariate (using the chi-square test with α = 0.05). Result : Based on the research results through 88 respondents that (68.2%) whose family support is good, then 86 respondents (93%) have a good quality of life, and 2 respondents (5%) have less quality of life. From 8 respondents (6.2%) whose family support is less, 1 respondent (2%) have a good quality of life, and 7 respondents (19%) have a less quality of life. Based on statistical test p = 0.000, it can be concluded that there is significant correlation between both variables. Clonclusion : It is concluded that there is a relationship between family support and the quality of life among patients with chronic renal failure undergoing hemodialysis therapy in PMI hospital Bogor. Through this research, it is expected to be used as a source reference of information for nurses in hemodialysis room.

Salah satu penyakit tidak menular menjadi permasalahan kesehatan dunia adalah gagal ginjal kronis. Diperlukan kepatuhan dalam proses penatalaksanaan hemodialisis untuk mencapai kualitas hidup yang lebih baik. Ketidakpatuhan menimbulkan komplikasi kegawatan berdampak pada kualitas hidup pasien. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui faktor – faktor yang mempengaruhi kepatuhan pasien Gagal ginjal kronis yang menjalani hemodialisis di RSUD Gunungsitoli Nias. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain analitik komparatif dengan rancangan penelitian crossectional study. Populasi penelitian ini adalah pasien Gagal Ginjal Kronis yang menjalani terapi hemodialisis di Unit Hemodialisis Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Gunungsitoli Nias dengan teknik pengambilan data menggunakan teknik accidental sampling dengan jumlah sampel didapatkan sebanyak 48 orang. Alat pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen kuesioner dan uji satatistik menggunakan Person Chi-Square Test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan faktor usia mayoritas 31-40 tahun (62,5%), jarak mayoritas ≥ 3 km (68,8%), pendapatan mayoritas tinggi (41,7%), motivasi mayoritas tinggi (68,8%), dukungan keluarga mayoritas baik (50%) dan kepatuhan mayoritas patuh (66,7%). Uji Person Chi-Square menunjukkan faktor usia (p=0,407), jarak (p=0,509) dan motivasi (p=0.186) dan faktor pendapatan (p=0.001) dan dukungan keluarga (p=0,000). Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah faktor usia, jarak dan motivasi mempengaruhi kepatuhan sedangkan faktor pendapatan dan dukungan keluarga mempengaruhi kepatuhan pada pasien gagal ginjal kronis yang menjalani hemodialisis di RSUD Gunungsitoli Nias. Disarankan kepada keluarga dan petugas kesehatan dapat memberikan dukungan kepada anggota keluarga yang menjalani hemodialisa dan selalu mendampingi serta memberi semangat dalam menjalani hemodialisis, Bagi pasien agar meningkatkan kepatuhan akan terapi hemodialisis untuk meningkatkan kualitas hidup.   One of the non-communicable diseases in the world about health problem is chronic kidney failure. Adherence is required in the management process of hemodialysis to achieve a better quality of life. Noncompliance cause emergency complications that affect the quality of life of patients. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that influence the compliance of patients with chronic kidney disease undergoing hemodialysis in the RSUD Gunungsitoli Nias. This study used a comparative analytic design with a crossectional study design. The population of this study was patients with Chronic Kidney Disease who underwent hemodialysis therapy at the Hemodialysis Unit of the Gunungsitoli General Hospital in Nias with data collection techniques using accidental sampling technique with a total sample of 48 people. The data collection tool uses questionnaire instruments and statistical tests using the Person Chi-Square Test. The results showed the majority of age factors were 31-40 years (62.5%), the majority of the distance ≥ 3 km (68.8%), the income of the majority was high (41.7%), the motivation of the majority was high (68.8%), support the majority of the family is good (50%) and the majority compliance is obedient (66.7%). Person Chi-Square test shows age (p = 0.407), distance (p = 0.509) and motivation (p = 0.186) and income factors (p = 0.001) and family support (p = 0,000). The conclusion of this study is that age, distance and motivation factors influence adherence while income and family support factors influence adherence in patients with chronic renal failure undergoing hemodialysis in Gunungsitoli Nias General Hospital. It is recommended to families and health workers to provide support to family members who undergoing hemodialysis and always accompany and encourage them to undergo hemodialysis, for patients to improve adherence to hemodialysis therapy to improve quality of life.

The study design was cross-sectional descriptive correlative approach. Data collection tool is a questionnaire guide. Sample of 35 respondents using accidental sampling technique. The independent variable in this study is the family support and the dependent variable quality of life of patients with post-stroke. The results showed 16 respondents, or 45.8% of respondents received sufficient family support. Respondents who have a sufficient quality of life amounted to 15 respondents or 42.7%. By Spearman Rho obtained significance value (p value = 0.00) <(α = 0.05), which proved to be no family support relationships with the quality of life of the elderly after a stroke. Post-stroke patients have problems of physical health, psychological, level of dependence, social relationships, environment and personal beliefs. Therefore, they need emotional support, awards, instrumental and information, especially of the family as the people closest to them thus improving patient quality of life after stroke

Chronic Kidney Disease is a process where the kidney gradually become out of function in more than three months. World Health Organization (WHO) states that the growth of chronic kidney disease sufferers globally in 2013 increased up to 50% from the previous year, in 2014, chronic kidney disease sufferers in United States of America increased up to 50% and every year that are approximately 200.000 people in United States of America undergoing hemodialysis. The objective of this study is to identify factors affecting the quality of life of chronic kidney disease patients that undergo hemodialysis therapy in Royal Prima Medan Hospital in 2019. This study uses descriptive analytic study with Cross Sectional approach. The population in this study are 70 people, and 70 people as samples with total sampling technique. The result of this study shows that there is no connection between age and the quality of life of chronic kidney disease patients that undergo hemodialysis therapy (p value = 0,910 > 0,05), no connection between gender and quality of life (p value = 0,599 > 0,05), no connection between education background and quality of life (p value = 0,943 > 0,05), and there is a connection between the duration of hemodialysis with quality of life (p value = 0,001 < 0,05). The patients are expected to obey the hemodialysis therapy in order to achieve a good quality of life.
