Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) is a progressive and irreversible disorder of renal function, in which the body's ability to fail to maintain metabolism and balance of fluids and electrolytes, causing uremia. The purpose of this study in general was to determine the relationship between hemoglobin levels and quality of life in chronic kidney disease patients undergoing hemodialysis at dr. M. Yunus Bengkulu. This type of research is descriptive analytic with cross sectional approach. The study sample was 64 patients with CKD who underwent hemodialysis at the hemodialysis installation with accidental sampling technique. The results showed that most patients with chronic kidney disease who underwent haemodialysis (71.9%) had severe anemia and most (56.3%) had a poor quality of life. Chi square test results obtained ρ value 0,000 (α = 0.05). Conclusion, There is a statistically significant correlation between anemia and quality of life in CKD patients undergoing hemodialysis in the RDUD Dr. Hemodialysis room. M. Yunus. Suggested to Dr. Hospital M. Yunus Bengkulu to control the incidence and symptoms of anemia experienced by CKD patients. Keywords: Anemia, Hemodialysis, quality of life, CKD

One complication of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus that affects the peripheral nervous system is Peripheral Artery Disease (PAD). PAD can be detected by checking the Ankle Brachial Index (ABI). PAD diagnostic tests with greater ABI accuracy are likely to reflect changes in a person's quality of life related to the conditions experienced. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between ABI values with the quality of life of people with DM. This type of research is analytic (survey) using a cross sectional approach. The sample used in this study were 44 type 2 DM patients in the Surakarta City branch of Persadia. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. In 2020 the spread of Covid-19 from person to person will be the main source of transmission, so the spread will become more aggressive. The enormous ability of this virus to infect and spread is evidenced by the note that so far there are still many people infected with Covid-19 with an increasing number. Cases in Indonesia also continue to increase, until March 29, 2020, there have been 1,115 cases with 102 deaths, while the largest number of cases of the COVID-19 outbreak in Yogyakarta is in Bantul district, Banguntapan sub-district with a total ODP of 150 people, PDP (1 died, 1 recovered, 6 are positive, and 24 are still under surveillance). To determine the relationship between COVID-19 prevention behavior and quality of life in Dusun Mutihan RT 5 Wirokerten, Banguntapan, Bantul, Yogyakarta. This type of research is a quantitative descriptive study with a cross-sectional approach. The sampling technique in this study was random sampling with as many as 65 samples taken. Based on the statistical results using the chi-square test, it was obtained X2 count of 28.502a, a P value of .000 (P-0.10) which indicates that there is a relationship between covid-19 prevention behavior and quality of life in Mutihan village rt 05 Banguntapan Bantul Yogyakarta. Background: Self efficacy can optimize the quality of life of clients who undergo the healing process due to chronic diseases. Individuals with higher self-efficacy move their personal and social resources proactively to maintain and improve the quality and length of their lives so that they experience a better quality of life. Objectives: the purpose of this study was to find the correlation between self efficacy and quality of life of patients with chronic kidney disease who undergo hemodialysis at RSUD Semarang Regency. Metode: This type of research was descriptive correlation with cross sectional approach. The samples in this study more 76 people with total sampling technique. The data collection tool for self efficacy was measured by General Self-Efficacy scale, for quality of life with WHOQoL-BREF. Statistical test used Kolmogorov-smirnov. Result: The result showed that self efficacy in patients with chronic kidney disease was mostly in moderate category (53,9%), quality of life in patients with chronic kidney disease was mostly in good category (68,4%). There was a correlation between self efficacy and quality of life of patients with chronic kidney disease who undergo hemodialysis at RSUD Semarang Regency, the result obtained p-value of 0.000 <α (0,05). Suggestion: Patients with chronic kidney disease can maintain good quality of life by helping to generate positive self-esteem and high self efficacy.

ABSTRAKLatar Belakang. Hemodialisis aman dan bermanfaat untuk pasien, namun bukan berarti tanpa efek samping. Berbagai komplikasi dapat terjadi pada saat pasien menjalani hemodialisis. Komplikasi ini dapat mengakibatkan timbulnya masalah baru yang lebih kompleks, yaitu dapat mempengaruhi kualitas hidup bahkan menimbulkan kematianTujuan. Untuk mengetahui hubungan komplikasi intra hemodialisis dengan kualitas hidup  pada pasien Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) Stage V yang menjalani hemodialisis.Metode. Jenis penelitian adalah analitik korelasional dengan pendekatan cross-sectional. Sampel pada penelitian ini berjumlah 166 responden diambil dengan teknik non probability sampling yaitu total sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dan lembar observasi,dianalisa dengan uji non parametric (Chi Square).Hasil. Rata – rata jumlah komplikasi intra hemodialisis adalah kurang dari dua komplikasi (sedikit komplikasi). Hipertensi intra hemodialisis adalah komplikasi terbanyak yang ditemukan (52,3%). Kejang dan penurunan kesadaran merupakan komplikasi yang tidak pernah dialami oleh responden selama penelitian (0%).Kualitas hidup pasien CKD stage V yang menjalani HD di BRSU Tabanan masuk dalam kategori kualitas baik. Hasil uji statistik diperoleh nilai p < 0.001 bahwa ada hubungan yang signifikan antara komplikasi intra hemodialisis dengan  kualitas hidup pada pasien yang menjalani HD. Dari hasil analisis diperoleh pula nilai OR = 0,005, artinya responden yang memiliki banyak komplikasi mempunyai peluang 0,005 kali memiliki kualitas hidup buruk dibanding responden yang memiliki sedikit komplikasi.Kesimpulan. Ada hubungan yang signifikan antara komplikasi intra hemodialisis dengan  kualitas hidup pada pasien yang menjalani hemodialisis.KataKunci: Komplikasi Intra Hemodialisis, Kualitas Hidup, Hemodialisis ABSTRACTBackground: Hemodialysis is safe and beneficial to the patient. However, there are various complications may occur when the patients undergo hemodialysis. These complications can lead to the emergence of new problems which are more complex and affect to the quality of life and even cause death.Aim: To determine the relationship of intra hemodialysis complications with quality of life in patients with Chronic Stage Kidney Disease (CKD) Stage V who undergo hemodialysis.Method:This study employed correlational analytic design with cross-sectional approach. To conduct this study, there were 166 respondents recruited as the sample by using probability sampling with total sampling technique. The data were collected by using questionnaire and observation sheet. Further, the data were analyzed by non-parametric test (Chi Square).Finding: The findings indicated that the average number of intra hemodialysis complications is less than two complications (few complications). There were found that 52.3% patients who had complication of hypertension intra hemodialysis. On the other hand, there was 0%of the respondents experienced seizures and decreased awareness complications during the study. The quality of life of CKD stage V patients underwenthemodialysis at BRSU Tabanan is categorized as good quality. The statistical test obtained p <0.001, it meant that there was a significant relationship between intra hemodialysis complications with quality of life in patients underwenthemodialysis. It also found that the analysis results of OR = 0.005, it meant that respondents who had many complications have a chance of 0.005 times experienced poor quality of life rather than the patients who had few complications.Conclusion: There is a significant relationship between intra hemodialysis complications and quality of life in patients undergo hemodialysis. Keywords: Complications of Intra Hemodialysis, Quality of Life, Hemodialysis

The transition of elderly lives from productive periods to non-productive makes them need support from relatives, friends or family. The purpose of this study was to look at the relationship between family appreciation support with quality and life satisfaction of the elderly in the city of Depok, West Java, with a cross-sectional design. The subjects of this study were 135 elderly people> 60 years old, living with family, do not have infectious diseases, able to communicate in Indonesian; selected by purposive sampling technique. Data were analyzed using Chi square test. The results of the study indicate that there was a relationship between family appreciation support with the quality of life of the elderly (p-value = 0.022) and life satisfaction of the elderly (p-value = 0.014). The results of this study are expected to support the development of nursing science in the future, especially regarding the quality and satisfaction of life of the elderly. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat hubungan antara dukungan penghargaan keluarga dengan kualitas dan kepuasan hidup lansia di Kota Depok, Jawa Barat, dengan desain cross-sectional. Background: One of the strategic efforts to reduce maternal mortality rate (MMR) is through the provision of comprehensive midwifery care. from pregnancy, childbirth to the puerperium. Indicators of success in midwifery care can be seen from the quality of life of postpartum mothers. Preliminary studies in Agam and Pasaman districts show that 50% of post-partum mothers have a poor quality of life. Methods: This analytic descriptive study with a cross-sectional design involved postpartum mother as the subject. The sample of the study was many postpartum mothers who received midwifery services at practicing independent midwives in Pasaman and Agam districts. Samples were taken using the accidental sampling technique within 1 month. A questionnaire for evaluating the quality of life of postpartum women is used as an instrument to measure the quality of life of postpartum mothers. Data were analyzed univariate and bivariate using the chi-square test Results: A total of 75.4% of the research subjects had a good quality of life. There is a relationship between service quality (p= 0.001) and maternal satisfaction (p= 0.001) with the quality of life for postpartum mothers. Conclusion: The better the quality of midwifery services and the level of satisfaction with services, the better the quality of life for postpartum mothers. Therefore, it is recommended that midwives maintain the quality of midwifery care starting from pregnancy, childbirth to childbirth on an ongoing basis (continuity of care).

Compliance with hemodialysis therapy is one of the important things to note, if the patient is not compliant, it can cause a buildup of harmful substances in the body and if left unchecked, it can lead to death. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between adherence to undergo hemodialysis therapy with the quality of life of patients with chronic renal failure in the Hemodialysis Unit of the Jakarta Hajj Hospital. This research method is a quantitative study using primary data (questionnaires) and using cross-sectional research. Data collected by using questionnaires. The number of samples were 54 people who were in the hajodialysis unit at the Jakarta Hajj Hospital for the past three months. The results of the study of 54 respondents who have moderate compliance there are 11 people (20.4%), and good compliance a number of 43 people (79.%), in general patients obedient. While from the aspect of quality of life, there were 6 respondents (11.1%) who experienced less quality of life, 35 people had a moderate quality of life (75.%) and 13 people (24.1%) had a good quality of life, in general the quality of life of patients was moderate. After analyzing the relationship between adherence to undergo hemodialysis with quality of life using the Chi Square test p value = 0.468˃0.05, meaning that Ho is accepted, so it can be concluded that there is no relationship between adherence to hemodialysis with the quality of life of patients at Jakarta Hajj Hospital .ABSTRAKKepatuhan menjalani terapi hemodialisa merupakan salah satu hal yang penting untuk diperhatikan, jika pasien tidak patuh dapat menyebabkan terjadinya penumpukan zat-zat berbahaya dalam tubuh dan apabila hal tersebut dibiarkan maka dapat mengakibatkan kematian. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kepatuhan menjalani terapi hemodialisa dengan kualitas hidup pasien gagal ginjal kronik di Unit Hemodialisa RS Haji Jakarta. Metode penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan data primer (kuisioner) dan memakai metode penelitian cross-sectional. Data yang dikumpulkan dengan cara menggunakan kuisioner. Jumlah sampel  sebanyak 54 orang yang berada di unit hemodialisa Rumah Sakit haji Jakarta selama tiga bulan terakhir. Hasil penelitian dari 54 responden yang memiliki kepatuhan sedang terdapat 11 orang (20.4 %), dan kepatuhan baik sejumlah 43 orang (79.6 %), secara umum pasien patuh. Sementara dari aspek kualitas hidup diperoleh  responden  yang  mengalami  kualitas  hidup  kurang sejumlah 6 orang (11.1%), kualitas hidup sedang sejumlah 35 orang (75.%)  dan  kualitas  hidup  baik  13 orang  (24.1%), secara umum kualitas hidup pasien sedang. Setelah dilakukan analisa hubungan antara kepatuhan menjalani hemodialisa dengan kualitas hidup dengan menggunakan uji Chi Square diperoleh p value = 0.468˃0.05,  artinya Ho diterima, sehingga dapat disimpulkan tidak ada hubungan antara kepatuhan menjalani hemodialisa dengan kualitas hidup pasien di Rumah Sakit Haji Jakarta.

ABSTRACT Cancer is one of the main causes of morbidity (conditions that change quality of life and health) and mortality (death). The highest prevalence of cancer in children is blood cancer (Leukemia). One of the factors that affect a person's quality of life is overprotective, related to the behavior undertaken by a person. The aim of this study was to determine the correlation overprotective behavior of parents to the quality of life of children with Acute Lympoblastic Leukimia. The study was conducted on 30  respondents in Poly Oncology Seruni RSUD Arifin Achmad Riau Province taken with purposive sampling technique. This stdy is quantitative with correlation design using cross sectional approach. The results showed that most parents have overprotective behavior as many as 18 people (60,0%), most children have poor quality of life as many as 18 people (60,0%). Based on chi square statistic test found that p value 0,024 (<0,05) that means there is correlation between overprotective behavior of parent to quality of life of child with Acute Lympoblastic Leukimia. Introduction: Hypertension is a degenerative disease that causes changes in the elderly so it will affect the quality of life of the elderly. One effort to improve the health status and quality of life of the elderly is maintaining health conditions with activities. Objective: The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of physical activity and the quality of life of elderly patients with hypertension in the working area of the Hambawang Beach Health Center. Method: This study used correlation with the cross sectional design approach. Respondents numbered 56 elderly taken in total sampling. The research instruments were PASE questionnaire and WHOQOL-BREF questionnaire. Data analysis used chi square test. Results:There was a relationship of physical activity with the quality of life of elderly people with hypertension (p = 0,000). Odds Ratio value of 49,5 means that elderly who have less physical activity are 49,5 times more likely to have a poor quality of life of the elderly compared to good physical activity of the elderly. Discussion: Good physical activity can improve the quality of life of the elderly. It was recommended to the elderly to do physical activities such as walking and doing sports.

An individual's ability or self-empowerment of the elderly in meeting needs, solving problems, utilizing existing resources for their lives. Self empowerment experienced by the elderly causes changes in the quality of life. The purpose of the study was to identify the relationship between self-empowerment and the quality of life of the elderly in RW 02, TKK sub-district/district, Surabaya City. This research uses cross sectional approach and correlational method. The independent variable is self-empowerment and the dependent variable is quality of life. The population in this study were all elderly who were in the RW 02 area, TKK sub-district/district, Surabaya as many as 34 elderly. Sampling used a total sampling technique, namely 34 respondents. The measuring instrument used is the WHOQOL questionnaire and the self-empowerment questionnaire. The results of the study were statistical tests using chi-square and showed that there was a significant relationship (p = 0,000) and was a strong relationship (r = 1,000) between self empowerment and the quality of life of the elderly in RW 02, TKK sub-district/district, Surabaya City. Problems that arise in the elderly include the inability to access health services, no old-age insurance and lack of social support. As a result of these problems, the elderly feel powerless and useless (lack of self-empowerment) in everyday life.                     Keywords: Self Empowerment, Quality of Life, Elderly
