The aim is to describe declarative politeness (Sociopragmatic Study of Cases in District of Kaur Regency). The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. The data in this study were declarative actions of the Kaur community which contained the politeness of various situations and various speech partners which contained politeness in language. The source of data in this study is the community in the Kecamatan Kecamatan Kaur Regency. Data collection techniques using the technique of recording, recording, see competent involvement (SBLC), see competent involvement (SLC). Data analysis techniques, namely transcribing recorded data, identifying data, classifying data, analyzing, interpreting, concluding. The results showed that declarative acts were found to fulfill politeness based on the principle of politeness, namely 1) maxim of wisdom, 2) maxim of generosity, 3) maxim of appreciation, 4) maxim of simplicity, 5) maxim of consensus, and 6) maxim of sympathy. Conclusion, declarative speech acts of society have fulfilled politeness based on the principle of politeness. Keywords: Sociopragmatics, Politeness, Declarative Politeness

AbstrakPenelitian ini adalah penelitian dasar (basic research) yang mencoba untuk mengkaji metode penciptaan karya seni murni bentuk representasional, simbolik dan abstrak. Kajian dilakukan terhadap beberapa seniman lukis, grafis dan patung di empat kota dalam wilayah Sumatera Barat, Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data utama dilakukan melalui observasi dan wawancara dengan sumber primer, yaitu seniman. Sedangkan data tidak langsung dikumpulkan melalui jurnal, buku, video foto, katalog pameran, karya-karya seniman, dan dokumen-dokumen terkait. Teknik analisis data dilakukan sebelum di lapangan dan di lapangan. Temuan penelitian ini adalah berupa metode yang spesifik, lebih operasional dan teknis tentang penciptaan karya seni murni bentuk representasional, simbolik dan abstrak.  Kata Kunci: Metode, Representasional, Simbolik, Abstrak.AbstractThis research is a basic research which tries to examine the method of creating pure works of representational, symbolic and abstract forms. The study was carried out on several painters, engravers and sculptors in four cities in the West Sumatra region of Indonesia. This study used descriptive qualitative method. The main data collection techniques are carried out through observation and interviews with primary sources, namely artists. While indirect data is collected through journals, books, videos, photos, exhibition catalogs, works of artists, and related documents. Data analysis techniques were carried out before on the field and in the field. The findings of this study are in the form of specific, more operational and technical methods about the creation of pure works of representational, symbolic and abstract forms. The purpose of this research is to describe the illocutionary acts on one of Gita Savitri Devi’s Youtube Channel video entitled Kenapa kita membenci? Beropini eps. 46. The method use in this research is descriptive qualitative method. The data in this research are illocutionary acts spoken by Gita Savitri Devi in one of her Youtube Channel videos. The data source in this research is the narration delivered by Gita Savitri Devi in that video. The data collection techniques using hearken technique. Data analysis techniques in this research were carried out through the steps : (1) Data transcription, (2) Data classification, and (3) Data inference. The results obtained by the type of assertive illocutionary acts, directive illocutionary acts, and expresive illocutionary acts. While the types of commissive illocutionary acts and declaration illocutionary acts were not found in this research.

Analysis of music form aims to peel and unravel the song thoroughly so that the contained elements in it can be found. The problem statement in this research is analysis of form song from Kidung Penghiburan. This research uses descriptive qualitative method and using several data collection techniques, including observation and documentation studies. Data will be validated by data triangulation. Data analysis techniques in this research uses data reduction, data presentation, conclusion withdrawal and verification. The result of this research showed that the songs from Kidung Penghiburan titled Pintu Gebang Terbukalah, Jalan Hidup Tak Selalu, Makin Dekat Tuhan, and Tuhan Allah Beserta Engkau are the two-part songs with different phrases arrangement and motif tabulation. Pintu Gebang Terbukalah’s form is A (a a’), B (b y), Jalan Hidup Tak Selalu’s form is A (a a’), A’ (a x), B (b y), Makin Dekat Tuhan’s form is A (a a’), B (b a’), and Tuhan Allah Beserta Engkau’s form is A (a a’), B (b b’).

Abstract The  problem  of this research is : How is the language development of children age 12 to 24 months in Semarang ?. The purpose of this study is to describe widely and deeply about language development the children age 12 to 24 in Semarang. The method used in this research is qualitative method. Data collection is done by observation, interviews, and questionnaire. Data analysis techniques using Miles Hubermen’s model. Checking the validity of the data using triangulation data. The results showed that the development of language of children aged 12 to 24 months in Semarang in expressive is: can produce sound almost perfect in several words; Some of the letters of the words missing from the pronunciation; The missing letters are usually consonants; Haven't been able to pronounce the letter s and r; In General, most people are able to understand the speech of the children is an adult who is close to the child; There is a word that can be spelled perfectly by the child. The words are by and large is the words that are simple and close to the children's daily lives. As for the generally receptive: children can follow and obey what is spoken by adults; The children seem to understand when the adults were talking about them; and children  can understand  to the words that they  heard more than that they can speak.   Keywords: Language, children, expressive, receptive, word.

This study aims to determine the Tourist Perception of Bokori Island Tourism Object in Bokori Village, Soropia District of Konawe Regency. This study used descriptive qualitative method. Subjects in this study were tourists visiting attractions Bokori Island. Traveler sampling in this study set out in the quota sampling 50 respondents, in this study the sample collection technique by accidental sampling.Methods of  data collection using questionnaires, observation and documentation. Questionnaire data analysis in this research is the analysis presented in the table percentage and distribution. Based on the results obtained show that, according to the perception of tourists attractions of the Bokori Island (1) appeal to the average score - average rating of 3.31 with the perception of being in either category, (2) accessibility with a mean score - average of 3.40 with the perception of tourists are in good category, (3) visitor facilities with a mean score - average rating of 3.12 with the perception of being in either category, (4) infrastructure with a mean score - average 3.53 with the perception of tourists were in the excellent category, (5) security with a mean score - average of 3.24 with the perceptions of visitors are in good category, (6) the promotion with a mean score - average of 3.32 with the perceptions of visitors are in either category. Thus the perception of the overall rating showed a mean score - average rating of 3.32 with the perception of being in either category.

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan dan mengidentifikasi citra perempuan pada kumpulan puisi Milk and Honey karya Rupi Kaur. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dengan menggunakan kritik sastra feminisme. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik simak catat. Sedangkan tahapan penelitian data dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik analisis data. Citra perempuan diklasifikasikan menjadi tiga aspek, yaitu fisik, psikis, dan sosial. Hasil penelitian dan pembahasan menunjukkan bahwa citra perempuan tidak hanya memberikan gambaran mengenai tingkah laku, mental, dan sosial perempuan, tetapi juga memperlihatkan gambaran mengenai berbagai permasalahan yang dihadapi perempuan di dalam masyarakat patriarki. The purpose of this study was to describe and identify the image of women in the collection of poetry Milk and Honey by Rupi Kaur. The research method used is a qualitative method using feminist literary criticism. The data collection technique was carried out using the note-taking technique. While the data research stages are carried out using data analysis techniques. The image of women is classified into three aspects, namely physical, psychological, and social. The results of the research and discussion show that the image of women not only provides an overview of women's behavior, mental and social, but also shows an overview of the various problems faced by women in a patriarchal society.

The research aims to describe the functions of humor used in an American comedy movie The Boss. The subject of the research was American comedy movie The Boss. Descriptive qualitative method was used to conduct the research. Data collection was done through library research and documentation. Data analysis was done through identification, coding, classification and description. The researcher found several findings. Supported by Meyers theory of joke, there are 6 functions of jokes found in the movie such as to insult someone, to express anger, to tease someone, to relieve tension, to get attention, and to amuse others. The dominant function was differentiation particularly to insult and to express anger 21 times, the second was clarification particularly to relieve tension humorous lines and amuse others 15 times, the third was enforcement particularly to tease 18 times, and the last was identification particularly to relieve tension and to get attention 27 times. These functions were also analyzed and discriminated by different setting and participant based on formality and participants distance. According to the analysis, most jokes occurred in informal situation with intimate relationship among the participants and functioned to tease someone and to relieve tension. This finding also proves that American humor is expressed with more slapstick and vulgarity as the characteristic of American humor used in daily communication. AbstrakPermasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kerajinan sulaman kruistik di nagari Embunpagi Kabupaten Agam. Kerajinan sulaman kruistik merupakan salah satu kerajinan di Nagari Embunpagi yang mempunyai nilai keindahan tersendiri yang banyak diminati. Sulaman kruistik adalah sulaman yang memakai jahitan benang yang bersilangan membentuk huruf x diatas kain tenunan sejajar.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk kerajinan sulaman kruistik dilihat dari segi desain dan motif di Nagari Embunpagi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif. Jenis data yaitu berupa data primer yaitu data yang diperoleh dari pimpinan dan karyawan usaha dan data sekunder yang diperoleh dari dokumentasi. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan cara melalui wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisa data yang dilakukan bersifat induktif berdasarkan fakta- fakta yang ditemukan dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh adalah bentuk desain motif berupa naturalis dengan bentuk bunga dan daun, dan bentuk geometris berupa garis- garis yang disusun.. Kata Kunci: sulaman, kruistik embunpagi.AbstractThe problem in this study was to find out about the crusical embroidery craft in the Embunpagi village of Agam Regency. Crystalline embroidery is one of the handicrafts in Nagari Embunpagi that has its own beauty value that is in great demand. Crewistic embroidery is embroidery that uses cross stitches forming letters x on parallel woven fabrics. The aim of this study is to describe the shape of the crew embroidery craft in terms of design and motif in Nagari Embunagi. The method used in this research is qualitative method. The type of data is in the form of primary data, namely data obtained from business leaders and employees and secondary data obtained from documentation. Data collection techniques by means of interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis techniques performed are inductive based on facts found and conclusions drawn. The results of the research obtained are the form of motif design in the form of naturalists with flower and leaf shapes, and geometric shapes in the form of lines arranged.  Keywords: needlepoint, embunpagi.

This research studies about expressive speech act in Crazy Rich Asian movie, the objectives of the research are to describe (1) to analyze the type of expressive speech act found in Crazy Rich Asian movie and (2) to describe the S-P-E-A-K-I-N-G model used in Crazy Rich Asian movie. This research used theory from Searle (1985) and Hymes (1974) in analyzing the data. There are twelve expressive speech act mentioned by Searle; apologize, thank, condole, congratulate, complain, lament, protest, deplore, boast, compliment, greet, and welcome. This research used descriptive qualitative method. The researcher collected expressive speech act utterances as the data to be analyzed; in analyzing the data the researcher used S-P-E-A-K-I-N-G model. The results showed that there were 52 data of expressive speech act and only ten types of expressive speech found in Crazy Rich Asian movie, some of the expressive types appeared except expressive act of condole and boast. the researcher used SPEAKING model is to know how the meaning of the social context, the purpose of the interaction in detail and describe them into analysis text. From the data analysis it shows that the types of expressive speech act that oftenly come up are apologize, thank and compliment. It shows that the characters in the Crazy Rich Asian movie more showed politeness and friendly attitude to others.

This study aimed to describe the happiness of couples with a marriage age above 50 years. The informants consisted of two pairs of husband and wife with a marriage age above 50 years. The method used in this research is a qualitative method with a descriptive analysis approach. Data collection techniques in this study used observation and interviews with data analysis techniques consisting of data codification, triangulation, data presentation, and conclusion. The results of the study show that married couples feel happy shown by having an attitude of gratitude and sincerity for all that is owned or through it from young to old age. The two pairs of subjects believed that in carrying out human life, God's protection was needed and there was God's intervention so that the desire to draw closer to God was stronger in the two pairs of subjects. The factors that influence the happiness of a married couple are (a) the purpose of marriage (b) commitment (c) communication (d) romanticism (e) utilization of time together with spouse (f) religion.
