Computers are one form of advances in electronic and informatics technology; the function of the computer itself serves as a tool for writing, drawing, editing images or photographs, or as a means of storage. Android, a Linux-based operating system, is a smart operating system that can compete with operating systems on a computer. Some of the problems identified include user difficulties in overcoming computer damage to determine whether to repair or buy a new unit, difficulty in reaching authorized service providers, risks when deciding to repair at a public service place, and limited access to information and costs repairing computer damage. This research specifically designs an Android application-based computer service application that makes it easier for people to get service services. The above research results formulate computer repair services using an Android-based platform with Android Studio and MySQL as the database for this study. This application is expected to be useful for customers in terms of time and cost.

Pelayanan publik adalah segala kegiatan pelayanan yang diselenggarakan oleh penyelenggara pelayanan sebagai upaya pemenuhan kebutuhan penerima pelayanan, Pelayanan publik ini menjadi semakin penting karena senantiasa berhubungan dengan masyarakat yang memiliki keanekaragaman kepentingan dan tujuan. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui distribusi fungsi pelayanan kecamatan serta interaksi antar kecamatan pada setiap Satuan Wilayah Pembangunan (SWP) di Kabupaten Tegal. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dari kedua masalah yang diperoleh bahwa Distribusi fungsi pelayanan menunjukan bahwa Kecamatan yang memiliki jumlah penduduk sedikit belum tentu jumlah fasilitasnya juga sedikit, dengan kata lain terjadi ketidakmerataan fasilitas di Kabupaten Tegal. Tingkat interaksi menunjukan bahwa Kecamatan yang memiliki jumlah tingkat interaksi tertinggi adalah Kecamatan Margasari, dan Kecamatan yang memilki jumlah Interaksi Terendah adalah Kecamatan Talang, Keterkaitan antara Distribusi fungsi pelayanan dengan Interaksi antar wilayah menunjukan semakin rendah jumlah fasilitas suatu Kecamatan maka semakin tinggi tingkat interaksi dengan Kecamatan lainnya, hal ini terjadi karena untuk memenuhi kebutuhan suatu daerah, maka daerah tersebut harus mengakses fasilitas daerahlainnya Public service is any service activity organized by service providers as addressing the needs of service recipients, public services have become increasingly important because it is always in touch with people who have a diversity of interests and goals. Therefore, this study aims to determine the distribution of the service function and interaction among sub-districts in each Regional Unit Development (SWP) in Tegal regency. Based on the research results obtained from the second issue that the distribution of the service function indicates that the sub-district which has a population of a little bit is not necessarily the number of facilities are also a little bit, in other words going inequality facilities in Tegal regency. The level of interaction indicate that the Regency which have the highest number of population is Margasari Regency, and the Regency that have the lowest number of interaction is Talang Regency. The relevance between the service fuction distribution with the interaction between region indicate that the number of facilities a district is lower, then the level of interaction with other Regency is higher. It happened because to fulfill the requirement a region, so that region have to access the facility of other regions.

The number of motorized vehicles continues to increase, this will be directly proportional to the number of people who experience motorcycle damage when driving on the highway, such as leaking tires or burst tires. For motorists who do not know the surrounding area when a motorcycle tire is damaged, of course it will be difficult to find the nearest tire patch. In this study, an Android application will be developed to map and find the location of motorcycle tire patches in Bukit Raya District. This application will provide location-based services to users. With this application, users will get information in the form of a map showing the location of the nearest tire patch. Based on the test results, the tire patch location mapping application that was built is able to display the locations of the tire patches along with information on the travel route from the user's location to the nearest selected tire patch location. This application was developed on the Android operating system because Android provides an open platform for developers to create their own applications and Android is one of the operating systems that are widely used by smartphones that are growing rapidly now. This application is expected to help users who want to find the location of the tire patch along with information from the tire patch and the closest route to the tire patch location so that it is more efficient in terms of time

In this technological world, smartphones can be considered as one of the most far-reaching inventions. It plays a vital role in connecting people socially. The number of mobile users using an Android based smartphone has increased rapidly since last few years resulting in organizations, cyber cell departments, government authorities feeling the need to monitor the activities on certain targeted devices in order to maintain proper functionality of their respective jobs. Also with the advent of smartphones, Android became one of the most popular and widely used Operating System. Its highlighting features are that it is user friendly, smartly designed, flexible, highly customizable and supports latest technologies like IoT. One of the features that makes it exclusive is that it is based on Linux and is Open Source for all the developers. This is the reason why our project Mackdroid is an Android based application that collects data from the remote device, stores it and displays on a PHP based web page. It is primarily a monitoring service that analyzes the contents and distributes it in various categories like Call Logs, Chats, Key logs, etc. Our project aims at developing an Android application that can be used to track, monitor, store and grab data from the device and store it on a server which can be accessed by the handler of the application.

Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) are a growing research area as a large of number portable devices are being developed. This fact makes operating systems (OS) useful to homogenize the development of these devices, to reduce design times, and to provide tools for developing complex applications. This work presents an operating system scheduler for resource-constraint wireless devices, which adapts the tasks scheduling in changing environments. The proposed adaptive scheduler allows dynamically delaying the execution of low priority tasks while maintaining real-time capabilities on high priority ones. Therefore, the scheduler is useful in nodes with rechargeable batteries, as it reduces its energy consumption when battery level is low, by delaying the least critical tasks. The adaptive scheduler has been implemented and tested in real nodes, and the results show that the nodes lifetime could be increased up to 70% in some scenarios at the expense of increasing latency of low priority tasks.

Abstract: Community service activities entitled "Installation of Operating Systems Based on Windows 10" aims to provide information to students from MAN Asahan about Installing Windows Operating Systems. The method used in this activity is a direct observation of the MAN Asahan school by watching and analyzing the problems or troubleshooting that occurs at the Computer Lab at MAN Asahan. In addition, information on problems in the computer Labs of the school was also carried out by a team of lecturers as the perpetrators of this community service by way of direct interviews with the Teachers and employees who served in the Computer Lab of the MAN Asahan school. The end result of this dedication is how students can repair computers, as well as troubleshooting that occurs on school computers and computers at home, can be overcome alone without having to use computer repair services.Keywords: installation; operating system; Windows 10 Abstrak: Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang diberi judul “Instalasi Sistem Operasi Berbasis Windows 10” bertujuan untuk memberikan informasi kepada siswa dan siswi MAN Asahan tentang Instalasi Sistem Operasi Windows. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah observasi langsung ke sekolah MAN Asahan dengan melihat serta menganalisa permasalahan ataupun troubleshooting yang terjadi pada Laboratorium Komputer disekolah MAN Asahan. Selain itu, Informasi permasalahan pada komputer Lab sekolah juga dilakukan tim dosen selaku pelaku kegiatan pengabdian ini dengan cara wawancara langsung kepada Guru dan pegawai yang bertugas di Lab Komputer sekolah MAN Asahan. Hasil akhir dari pengabdian ini adalah bagaimana siswa dan siswi dapat memperbaiki komputer serta troubleshooting yang terjadi pada komputer sekolah maupun komputer dirumah dapat teratasi sendiri tanpa harus memakai jasa perbaikan komputer. Kata kunci: instalasi; sistem operasi;  windows 10

Pelayanan publik menjadi suatu tolok ukur kinerja pemerintah yang paling kasat mata. Seiring dengan perkembangan teknologi dan banyaknya tantangan yang harus dihadapi maka pelayanan publik harus diselaraskan dengan terobosan atau inovasi. Salah satu pelayanan publik yang perlu dioptimalkan adalah Sistem Administrasi Manunggal Satu Atap (SAMSAT). Oleh karena itu, Kantor Bersama Samsat Gresik membuat aplikasi yang diresmikan pada tanggal 14 Juli 2020 adalah SAMSAT RAME (Samsat Ramah Merakyat) yaitu sebuah aplikasi pelayanan pajak serta informasi terkait pengurusan perpanjangan masa berlaku surat tanda nomor kendaraan (STNK) bermotor. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui bagaimana optimalisasi pelayanan Kantor Bersama Samsat Gresik melalui Inovasi Aplikasi Samsat Rame (Samsat Ramah Merakyat) sehingga mampu menjawab beberapa permasalahan pelayanan publik Teknik analisis data dengan pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan/verifikasi. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi dan studi literatur.  Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi Samsat Ramah Merakyat (Samsat Rame) belum efisien karena input pelayanan masih memberatkan para pengguna jasa. Belum efektif karena tidak berhasil mencapai tujuan yang dikehendaki oleh penyelenggara. Serta kualitas hasil yang buruk dikarenakan faktor pendukung terkesan membuat aplikasi Samsat Rame di lakukan karena mendesak tanpa memikirkan jangka panjang. Sedangkan faktor penghambat lebih berpengaruh pada keberhentian inovasi Samsat Rame. Salah satu saran yang dapat diajukan yaitu meningkatkan sosialisasi dan promosi kepada masyarakat Kabupaten Gresik. Kata Kunci : Pelayanan Publik, Inovasi Pelayanan Pajak, Samsat Rame (Samsat Ramah Merakyat)   Public service becomes the most visible measure of government performance. Along with technological developments and the many challenges that must be faced, public services must be aligned with breakthroughs or innovations. One of the public services that need to be optimized is the One-Stop One-Stop Administration System (SAMSAT). Therefore, the Samsat Gresik Joint Office made an application that was inaugurated on July 14, 2020, namely SAMSAT RAME (Samsat Ramah Merakyat), which is a tax service application as well as information related to the extension of the validity period for motorized vehicle registration certificates (STNK). The purpose of this study is to find out how to optimize the services of the Samsat Gresik Joint Office through the Samsat Rame Application Innovation (Samsat Ramah Merakyat) so that it is able to answer several public service problems. Data analysis techniques are data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion / verification. Data collection techniques through interviews, observation, documentation and literature study. The results of this study indicate that the Peoples Friendly Samsat application (Samsat Rame) is not efficient because service inputs are still burdensome for service users. Not yet effective because it failed to achieve the goals desired by the organizers. As well as the poor quality of results due to supporting factors that seem to make the Samsat Rame application done because it is urgent without thinking about the long term. While the inhibiting factor has more influence on the discontinuation of the Samsat Rame innovation. One of the suggestions that can be put forward is to increase socialization and promotion to the people of Gresik Regency. The use of traditional approaches to teach Operating Systems usually lacks the visual aspect. The following research investigates the novel use of DEVS (Discrete Even Visualization and Simulation) in simulating the operation of an operating system. Cd boost++ was the framework of choice for this project. The simulation successfully mimicked the work of an operating system by simulating multiple cycles of program requests. This simulation is capable of further enhance the explanation of how an operating system works. The cases studied in this work include: 1- two processes running concurrently doing multiple IO’s, 2-four processes running concurrently based on a first come first serve scheduling algorithm, and 3- 20 processes running concurrently using highest priority scheduling algorithm. Output observation of the last case show promising results of successful use of DEVS and cd boost++ as a framework to build an operating system.
