The purpose of this study was to determine the description of the Biology learning approach applied in private high schools throughout Purworejo Regency and the factors that support and hinder the learning activities of Biology with the learning approach in private high schools throughout Purworejo Regency. Research methods are surveys and interviews related to the Biology Learning approach conducted in private high schools throughout Purworejo Regency. The research instrument was a non-test instrument and the data obtained were qualitative and quantitative data in the form of Biology National Examination (UN) scores which were analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results obtained are (1). The approach used in Biology Learning in private high schools throughout Purworejo Regency is the Scientific Approach and the Natural Exploration Approach, while the Local Wisdom and Cultural Approach is rarely used. (2). Biology National Examination (UN) scores do not depend on the applied learning approach. This is because the learning outcomes of the Biology UN which are the benchmarks in this study cannot be used as a description of student learning outcomes (cognitive, affective, psychomotor) as a whole. (3). Factors that support and hinder the process of implementing the learning approach are the learning process, motivation, time and the ability of students..

The purpose of this study was to describe the improvement of student learning outcomes in Civics Learning with Cooperative Learning Approach Type of Group Investigation (GI) in class IV SDN 08 Kampung Pondok Padang. The type of research used is Class Action Research using qualitative and quantitative approaches. The research subjects were teachers (practitioners) and 18 students. The results showed an increase in terms of a) RPP cycle I was 82.14% and cycle II 92.85%, b) Implementation in the aspect of the teacher cycle I was 84.37% and cycle II 96.87% while the implementation in the aspect of students cycle I is 81.25% and cycle II is 93.75%, c) Student learning outcomes in cycle I are 71.53 and cycle II 86.07. It was concluded that the Cooperative Learning Approach Type of Group Investigation (GI) can improve student learning outcomes in Civics Education in Elementary Schools.

The background of this research is the low student learning outcomes caused by an inappropriate learning approach. The process carried out in the classroom is also not pleasant, causing the learning outcomes and learning process of students in class III of SD Negeri No.38/II Pauh Agung to be low. So with this problem, the researchers conducted research using the Number Head Together model. This type of research is classroom action research which consists of four stages, namely planning, action, observation and reflection, which is carried out collaboratively between practitioners and observers. The research was conducted in SD Negeri No. 38/II Pauh Agung. The subjects of this study were 20 third grade students. The research was carried out for 2 cycles. Each cycle consists of 2 meetings. Data collection techniques using the test method, observation sheets and documentation. Data analysis techniques are descriptive qualitative and quantitative.

Metode diskusi dalam pembelajaran biologi di SMA Negeri 1 Pontianak belum mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa biologi. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan implementasi pembelajaran dengan pendekatan science-edutainment berbasis lesson study dan mengetahui keberhasilan implementasinya terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian menggunakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Kelas XI MIPA 9 dipilih sebagai sampel penelitian. Pengambilan data dilakukan melalui tes kognitif, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil refleksi 100% siswa sudah belajar dengan antusias, leluasa bergerak, dan aktif berdiskusi. Rata-rata nilai siswa sebelum dilakukannya tindakan hanya 49,43 dengan persentase ketuntasan 49,43% dan setelah diajarkan menggunakan pendekatan science-edutainment, pada siklus I rata-rata nilai mencapai 83,71 dengan persentase ketuntasan 77,14% dan meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 89,43 dengan persentase 97,14%. Kesimpulannya implementasi pembelajaran telah berhasil meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa biologi.Kata kunci: Lesson study, science-edutainment, ular tangga, hasil belajar biologi Implementation of science edutainment approach based lesson study to learning outcomes. The discussion method in SMA Negeri 1 Pontianak hasn’t support improvement in Biology learning outcomes. This study aims to describe the implementation of the science-edutainment-based learning approach and find out the student learning outcomes. The method used by Classroom Action Research. Class XI MIPA 9 was chosen sample research Data collected through cognitive tests, observation, and documentation. The results showed that the results of the reflection is 100% of students had learned enthusiastically, were free to move, and were active in discussions. The average student score before taking action was only 49.43 with a percentage of completeness 49.43% and after being taught using the science-edutainment approach, in the first cycle, the average value reached 83.71 with a percentage of completeness is 77.14% and increased in the cycle II to 89.43 with a percentage is 97.14%. The conclusion of the implementation of learning has succeeded in improving biology students learning outcomes.Keywords: Lesson study, science-edutainment, snakes and ladders, biology learning outcomes

This study aimed to describe effecitivity of the learning outcome IPA using inquiry method. This type of research is the Classroom Action Research (CAR). Research procedures conducted through four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The study uses a qualitative and quantitative approach. Subjects were teachers and students of fourth class in elementary school 08 Padang City. Data was obtained from the results of observations and test results of learning. The research was conducted by two cycles and each cycle consisting of two meetings. The results of the research that has been conducted every cycle seen an increasein the average value of student learning outcomes are: (a) the cognitive aspects of 75 to 93, (b) the affective aspects of 74 to 95, and (c) psychomotor aspects from 76 to 94. It can be concluded that the CAR using the inquiry method can improve learning outcomes of science fourth grade students of fourth class in the state elementary school 08 Padang City.Key words: Learning competency; science learning; inquiry method

This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of the squat-style long jump through the application of media box tools for students of SDN 30 Mataram. This research method uses classroom action research. The subjects of this study were 15 fifth grade students at SDN 30 Mataram. The research instrument uses observation, tests, and questionnaires. The data analysis technique of this research used descriptive qualitative and quantitative analysis. The results showed that the squat style long jump learning through the use of boxed media could increase students' focus and activeness as well as a pleasant learning atmosphere, so that it was proven to improve student learning outcomes.

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk :”menghasilkan produk media pembelajaran berbasis multimedia interaktif yang layak digunakan, mudah dipelajari pebelajar dan dapat dipakai untuk pembelajaran individual”. Jenis penelitian pengembangan menggunakan model pengembangan produk Borg dan Gall yang dipadu dengan model desain pembelajaran Dick dan Carey. Subjek uji coba terdiri dari dua ahli materi pelajaran Biologi, dua ahli desain pembelajaran, dua ahli media pembelajaran, tiga orang siswa untuk uji coba perorangan, Sembilan siswa untuk uji coba kelompok kecil dan 69 orang siswa untuk uji lapangan terbatas. Hasil penelitian produk akhir menunjukkan: (1) uji ahli materi berada pada kualifikasi sangat baik (83,08%), (2) uji ahli desain pembelajaran berada pada kualifikasi sangat baik (84,12%), (3) uji ahli media pembelajaran berada pada kualifikasi sangat baik (83,51%), (4) uji coba perorangan berada pada kualifikasi sangat baik (91,67%), (5) uji coba kelompok kecil berada pada kualifikasi sangat baik (93,00%), dan (6) uji coba lapangan terbatas berada pada kualifikasi sangat baik (94,24%), dan layak untuk digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran Biologi. Hasil pengujian hipotesis membuktikan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara hasil belajar siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran berbasis multimedia interaktif dengan hasil belajar siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan menggunakan konvensional. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan hasil pengolahan data diperoleh thitung = 25,08 > ttabel= 2,0105, dengan dk = (n1+n2-2) pada taraf signifikansi α =0,05. Disimpulkan efektivitas penggunaan media interaktif sebesar 78,32% sedangkan media konvensional 67,00%. Kata Kunci: Media Pembelajaran Interaktif, hasil belajar biologi Abstract: This study aims to: "produce interactive multimedia-based learning media products that are feasible to use, easily learned by students and can be used for individual learning". This type of development research uses the Borg and Gall product development model combined with Dick and Carey's learning design models. The trial subjects consisted of two experts on Biology subject matter, two learning design experts, two instructional media experts, three students for individual trials, nine students for small group trials and 69 students for limited field testing. The final product research results show: (1) the material expert test is in very good qualification (83.08%), (2) the learning design expert test is in very good qualification (84.12%), (3) learning media expert test are in very good qualifications (83.51%), (4) individual trials are in very good qualifications (91.67%), (5) small group trials are in very good qualifications (93.00%), and (6) limited field trials are in very good qualifications (94.24%), and are suitable for use in the Biology learning process. The results of hypothesis testing prove that there are significant differences between student learning outcomes learned by using interactive multimedia-based learning media with student learning outcomes that are taught using conventional learning. This is indicated by the results of data processing obtained by t = 25.08> t table = 2.0105, with dk = (n1 + n2-2) at the significance level α = 0.05. It was concluded that the effectiveness of interactive media use was 78.32% while conventional media was 67.00%. Keywords: Interactive Learning Media, biology learning outcomes

Researchers make observations, thoughts, experiences, and insights in the virtual learning environment at each learning. Qualitative and quantitative results show that students respond to hybrid learning strategy and they had increased their engagement and communication when compared to the traditional class. The results of the study found that sig.t = 0.03 <α = 0.05, it was concluded that H02 was rejected and resulted in the acceptance Ha2: µA> µB, this indicates that the average student learning outcomes that take hybrid learning are higher than students who take part in learning activities using traditional learning. The Students recognize the quality improvement in learning and using the class with hybrid learning strategy. Regarding academic performance, there have been significant changes shown between hybrid learning strategy class and the traditional learning class

This study aims to describe the application of the Quantum Teaching model to improve student learning outcomes in social studies learning. This research is a classroom action research that uses qualitative and quantitative approaches. The subjects of this study were 28 teachers and fourth grade students. The implementation of this research was carried out in two cycles with research procedures consisting of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The results of research was improve a) RPP cycle I 83.9% and cycle II 92.8%. b) Implementation of teacher aspects and aspects of students cycle I 80.5% and cycle II 94.4%, c) Student learning outcomes cycle I 78.5 and cycle II 87. Thus, the application of the Quantum Teaching model can improve learning outcomes students in social studies learning in Grade IV SD Negeri 08 Pisang Kota Padang.

This research is a Classroom Action Research with the application of Problem Based Instruction approach oriented Think Think Share learning models in the learning process. The subjects of this study were 40th-grade students of SMP Negeri 40 Makassar in the first semester of the 2018/2019 school year. The implementation of this research consisted of two cycles. The data collected was analyzed descriptively. Based on the results of the study note that in the first cycle has not reached the expected standard classical limitations, this can be seen from the final value which only reached an average of 61.50 with a percentage of completeness of 65%. While in the second cycle the final grades of students have increased. This can be seen with the increase in the average value of student learning outcomes which reached 73.50 with a percentage of completeness of 80%. Based on the results it can be concluded that the application of the Problem Based Instruction approach oriented to Think Pair Share learning models can improve learning outcomes in biology subjects in the eighth grade at SMP Negeri 40 Makassar
