The topic of the article examines the special connection between an industrial enterprise and the urbanistic environment, taking into account certain features of the location of an enterprise in an urban planning environment, as well as the corresponding factors of the architectural and construction scheme of modernization of production to understand the modern process of reconstruction and renovation of industrial facilities in a historical context. In search of figurative plastic stylistic expressiveness, architects in the 1920s and 1940s drew attention to engineering structures, machines and units were placed outside, which already at that time became a visual carrier of iconic-shaped symbols of the aesthetics of industrial culture. Subsequently, during the period of new experimentation in the 60s and 70s, the volumes of the engineering infrastructure were included in the structure of the volumetric-spatial solution of the production environment as an element of compositional construction based on block-modules given by the technology. The revival of the modern synthesis of arts is talentedly embodied in the metallurgical enterprise "Interpipe": frescoes, volumetric compositions of the modern Danish artist - Olafur Eliasson have formed a modern industrial enterprise where almost classical heritage of the experimental period of the 60s-early 70s remained the basis and

The article is devoted to the consideration of the features of the formation of the appearance of objects, taking into account the technological process, the identification of fixed assets and methods of creating the spatial-spatial composition of buildings within the existing city development. These are: the Nestle plant in Mexico, the Fagus factory, the construction of the Leeds incinerator, etc. Industrial architecture is an integral part of society. The presence and functioning of industrial enterprises characterizes the economic and political independence of the state. Industrial areas are usually large in area. and environmental friendliness. It is extremely important for modern industrial design to take into account the energy efficiency of a building, as industrial buildings are directly related to the consumption of natural resources, most of which are exhausted. in the design and reconstruction of industrial facilities nowadays, in addition to taking into account the technological process, it is extremely important to pay attention to the exterior and interior decoration of buildings. This not only affects the aesthetic component of human perception, but also promotes the productivity of workers. Many industrial structures are included in the social and cultural life of the city, combining several additional functions, in addition to the main (industrial). The development of industrial architecture is closely linked to the development of facing materials, which are often used aluminum. But in the construction of industrial buildings can be used and other materials that allow you to create many color schemes. All factors determine the need to create an aesthetic environment that meets the needs of society.

Selected technical problems related to the rehabilitation of cast-iron columns in structures from the turn of the 19th and 20th century are discussed in the paper. Lack of contemporary standard regulations related to the design of cast-iron structures is a significant problem in the design works and experimental investigations on cast-iron columns are frequently required. The paper presents results of the tests concerning principal properties of cast-iron—strength and deformability. The historical design principles are discussed in the light of the results of experimental investigations. As it was demonstrated, the actual load-carrying capacities of cast-iron columns may exceed by several times the values resulting from the 20th century design rules. The conservatism of the design principles resulted, however, from the material uncertainties—lack of homogeneity and hidden defects of the cast-iron. Selected examples of failures of cast-iron columns from 19th-century structures such as post-industrial buildings and engineering structures are discussed. They resulted from errors made during adaptation works. The reasons for these failures and considered methods of repairing the structures are presented.

This article clarifies the definition of the quality of project documentation, as the degree of compliance of the composition, content, volume and presentation of project documents with the requirements of existing standards, taking into account the factors of errors and the level of graphic display of documents originals and copies. Considered measures to improve the quality of the procedure of field supervision, as a stage of the design process based on an analysis of the quality of the process of restora (reconstruction) of the tramway section. The authors assessed the quality of the design process and determined its effectiveness at the stages of the design life cycle depends on the application of various methods. For example, for the first stage we apply the method of the context diagram and the decomposition of the first level, i.e. life cycle process. The second stage of the analysis included the monitoring of the author’s supervision process, and it was concluded that the effectiveness of the quality assessment would be achieved by applying an element of the balanced scorecard methodology – that is, strategic map. The final stage of the work involved identifying the risks of the author’s supervision process and developing measures to eliminate them, so one of the process indicators, “The number of inconsistencies found during the author’s supervision”, was taken into account. To identify the root causes of deviations, the indicator under consideration, a quality control tool was used – the causal diagram of K. Ishikawa. To determine the risk of the process of field supervision and the proposal of measures to reduce its level, the P-FMEA method of analysis was used. For the third stage in the assessment of the name of the indicator: «Satisfaction of the group of architectural supervision of the production environment». The goal is to increase the level of production environment conditions. The goal is to increase the level of production environment conditions. The perspective of this indicator on the MTP is the section “Training and Development”. The method of assessing the indicator can serve as an adapted technique SERVQAUAL for the process of conducting field supervision.

The article is devoted to defining the essence of facility-tourism as a promising area within the tourism industry, which can potentially increase the attractiveness of Ukraine for foreign tourists and become a powerful competitive center in the redistribution of international tourist flows. The need to improve existing approaches to understanding industrial tourism (common term) has been demonstrated because it does not take into account the full range of opportunities associated with visiting abandoned cities, towns and buildings, existing and abandoned machines and industrial facilities, land and underground. engineering structures, exclusion zones and other objects of anthropogenic activity. The article proves that having an extraordinary technological, industrial, engineering potential, Ukraine can create hundreds of additional facilities that will have not only practical significance, but also financial and economic effect. In addition, the launch of facility-tourism in Ukraine will create additional opportunities for the development of related areas of services - hotel and restaurant business, museums, transport, etc., and will be the basis for creating new jobs, which is certainly important for modern Ukraine. Special attention in the article to the define the prospects and place of international facility-tourism in the tourism industry of Ukraine. The method of testing hypotheses proved that its initiation will certainly have a positive effect. The authors also paid attention to the development of the industry during the pandemic. It was proved that this type of tourism can fully work even in conditions of quarantine restrictions due to the possibility of organizing facility tours for small groups of foreign nationals.

The object of this study is the permafrost soils of the section of the route of the main water pipeline «Tabaga-Byuteidyakh» in rural areas of Central Yakutia, spanning approximately 28 kilometers. Permafrost soils are widely developed in the Southeastern part of Central Yakutia, and are located on the Leno-Amginsky interfluve. They lie in the upper part of the geological section and are underlying on the lane of the main water pipeline route, as well as fall into the foundations of engineering structures of industrial facilities and hydraulic engineering construction. The study is based on a complex of field engineering and geological surveys, as well as laboratory studies of the physical and mechanical properties of rocks. The article discusses the features of the composition, structure and properties of rocks in this area. It is noted that among the considered soils, there is a variety of granulometric types, cryogenic texture from massive to layered, with clay soils usually of higher ice content than sandy ones. Technogenic loads are also mentioned in the form of objects of the main water supply system, consisting of pumping stations, pipelines, reservoirs and channels, which lead to significant changes in the geocryological environment and surrounding landscapes.

In the present work some characteristical features of autoclaved aerated concrete structures are illustrated in the seismic and nonseismic design for residential and industrial buildings. Besides the properties of this material with regards to fire resistance and thermal and acoustical insulation, the use of autoclaved aerated concrete for engineering structures may have the advantage of a confined structure with reinforced concrete bond elements that are disposed horizontally and vertically. In the present work the dynamical behavior of a building prototype realized with autoclaved aerated concrete is analyzed, a finite element modelling of the structure has been calibrated according to an experimental modal analysis carried by loading the structure with a vibrodyne located on top of the building and by monitoring the building outputs due to horizontal harmonic forces. The finite element modelling of the dynamical behavior of the autoclaved aerated concrete structure has been compared with a similar tuff masonry building whose characteristical behavior has already been the object of experimental and numerical analysis in a previous work.
