In December 2019, a unique coronavirus infection, SARS-CoV-2, was first identified in the province of Wuhan in China. Since then, it spread rapidly all over the world and has been responsible for a large number of morbidity and mortality among humans. According to a latest study, Diabetes mellitus, heart diseases, Hypertension etc. are being considered important risk factors for the development of this infection and is also associated with unfavorable outcomes in these patients. There is little evidence concerning the trail back of these patients possibly because of a small number of participants and people who experienced primary composite outcomes (such as admission in the ICU, usage of machine-driven ventilation or even fatality of these patients). Until now, there are no academic findings that have proven independent prognostic value of diabetes on death in the novel Coronavirus patients. However, there are several conjectures linking Diabetes with the impact as well as progression of COVID-19 in these patients. The aim of this review is to acknowledge about the association amongst Diabetes and the novel Coronavirus and the result of the infection in such patients.

This research is motivated by the outbreak of the Corona virus since May 2020 causing fear and anxiety for everyone in various aspects of life, including the world of education, students, parents and teachers are also the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic outbreak. Moreover, the massive spread of this virus has penetrated throughout the country so that it is declared a pandemic condition. One solution that is highly recommended by WHO and supported by health experts and government policies is to maintain physical social distance. These conditions have an impact on the implementation of the program at home only. This requires all activities that were originally carried out outside the home to move into the house. Of course, this adaptation change presents quite a serious polemic, especially in the process of implementing learning, the term school from home (SFH) has become a new order in the world of education. So there are various innovations in the learning process from home, so that children continue to absorb knowledge even though they do not come to school. One of the educational services that serve the implementation of learning from home, especially in conducting guidance is homeschooling. This learning implementation service through homeschooling is an alternative to implementing learning that strongly supports the absorption of knowledge for children who do not have the opportunity to attend formal schools. The method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative method. Ways to obtain data in this study include observation, interviews and documentation. Based on the results of research findings in the field, it can be concluded that the learning process through homeschooling based on learning services from home is considered effective during the Covid-19 pandemic, where parents, teachers can work together in monitoring children while studying from home more effectively on children's development in learning. study from home.

Abstract Background: Metabolic abnormalities are frequently seen in patients with acromegaly. However, it is not clear to what extent GH /IGF-1 contribute to the development of these abnormalities. This study aimed to explore the impact of GH/IGF-1 on different aspects of metabolic abnormalities in patients with acromegaly. Methods: This retrospective, registry-based study conducted on 102 patients with acromegaly. Prevalence of diabetes mellitus (DM), hypertension (HTN), and dyslipidemia (DLP) at the time of diagnosis has been explored. Moreover, the impact of GH/IGF-1 on these cardio-metabolic risk factors at 3-12 months after surgery has been investigated using linear and logistic regression models. Results: At the time of diagnosis, the prevalence of cardio-metabolic risk factors was 79.17 % for DLP, 29.41% for DM, and 15% for HTN. Furthermore, each 1 ng/ml increase in the level of GH was significantly associated with 2 mg/dl increase in the level of FBS, 0.54 mmHg increase in the level of SBP, and 0.88 mmHg increase in the level of DBP. Upon multivariate analysis GH, but not IGF-1, significantly increased the odds of DM (OR; 1.17, 95% CI; 1.02-1.35, p= 0.025). Conclusions: Our findings showed at early postoperative stage, GH is significantly associated with the levels of FBS, SBP, and DBP. Moreover, GH, but not IGF-1, appears as a predictive factor for the presence of DM. However, neither GH nor IGF-1 could predict the presence of HTN, or DLP in this study.

Out of 362 males screened 22 were suffering from Diabetes mellitus (DM) i.e. prevalence of 6.07%. Whereas out of 688 females screened 28 were suffering from Diabetes mellitus (DM) i.e. prevalence of 4.06%. Prevalence of Diabetes mellitus (DM) in males was found to be maximum in age group of more than 70 years i.e. 6.97% as compare to female i.e.5.29%.Conclusions: Thus, the current study recorded high prevalence of Diabetes mellitus (DM) among rural population which should be a cause of concern for health care providers.

Sovereign Sukuk has become a promising instrument for a country to overcome difficulties in financing government projects. Sukuk is a financial instrument for the Islamic capital market with a low level of risk. Green sukuk becomes popular since most of the conventional investment activities ignore the environment aspect. Starting in 2018, Indonesian government has developed a green sukuk scheme as a financing instrument for environmentally friendly projects to reduce the impact of global climate change. This study aims to analyze the role and challenges of green sukuk for climate change resilience in highly vulnerable areas during the Covid-19 crisis. This study is conducted through a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. Data collections are carried out through literature studies and case studies on some climate projects in highly vulnerable areas in Indonesia. The results show that during the Covid-19 pandemic, green sukuk has contributed an important impact for climate change resilience in highly vulnerable areas. There are some challenges in the development of green sukuk. The lack of awareness of social risks as well as environmental risks have become main challenges. In the future, the decision policy makers should provide greater incentives and a more inclusive legal umbrella for green financing schemes.

OBJECTIVE: To unveil the experiences of mothers of disabled children, with a view to understand the meaning of that experience. METHODS: This is a qualitative study using phenomenological approach based on Heidegger. The study subjects were five mothers with a disabled child. The interviews were performed at the women's homes, guided by the question "To you, what does it mean to have a disabled child? RESULTS: Five categories came into focus: "meeting one's actual infant," "the impact of disability," "treading a new path with one's disabled child," "experiencing maternal altruism in the care of the disabled child," and "altering one's family daily life." CONCLUSIONS: The discourses revealed emotionally moved beings experiencing a painful, sorrowful manner of being-in-the-world. Mothers find themselves unprepared to deal with the experience of having a disabled child, though perceiving the situation as an opportunity for self-encounter. Changes occurred to the couple's dynamics and family members became distant. When seeking guidance from health professionals, the mothers failed to find the necessary support.
