The purpose of the article consists in identifying the actual components of the national design system formation at the beginning of the XXI century. In particular, was been researched the study level of the influence of geometric ornaments as identifiers of national culture. Methodology. Analytical, logical, and chronological methods were being used. The scientific novelty consists in fact of first time systematically investigating the meaning of a geometric ornament as an art form that marking Ukrainian culture in the context of cultural globalization. Conclusions. As a result of generalizing the scientific views of various fields of knowledge, were marked the most significant conditions and problems of using the geometric ornament of Ukraine in visual communications at different time periods. Conditions include the «modernization» of graphic techniques and using a wide specter of intersectoral knowledge. The main problems are: unsystematic and insufficiently formed theoretical base, low professional level of designers (ignoring organizing visual-communicative elements rules, disharmony in the color solution, low graphic culture). As a result, were formed main directions for using geometric ornaments in graphic design projects. These directions are a synthesis of intersectoral knowledge, improvement of the designer's stylization and composition skills, using ornamental compositions with considering to context. Keywords: ornament, geometric ornament, graphic design, visual identification of ethnic culture.

To bring empirical scrutiny to the often very general and theory-driven debates on cultural globalization and to broaden the geographical scope of previous studies on the topic, this paper presents an analysis of the changes in the relative weight of national and global culture in the culture sections of quality European newspapers from 1960 to 2010. Through content analysis of newspaper articles, the paper examines how the composition of geographical origin of the cultural products discussed has changed over a half-century. The paper asks whether globalizing trends exist in newspaper coverage of culture or whether coverage of national culture remains dominant; to what degree is there variation, based on the art form discussed; and whether newspapers embedded in their national contexts differ from each other in these respects. The results show only a moderate increase in coverage of global products. However, clear trends were found that are associated with both the geographical origin of cultural products and the art forms discussed in the articles, highlighting that post-1960s cultural globalization is best understood as being intertwined with the rise of popular culture and the corresponding decline of traditional – and very European – highbrow culture.

Stathmin is a ubiquitous regulatory phosphoprotein, the generic element of a family of neural phosphoproteins in vertebrates that possess the capacity to bind tubulin and interfere with microtubule dynamics. Although stathmin and the other proteins of the family have been associated with numerous cell regulations, their biological roles remain elusive, as in particular inactivation of the stathmin gene in the mouse resulted in no clear deleterious phenotype. We identified stathmin phosphoproteins inDrosophila, encoded by a unique gene sharing the intron/exon structure of the vertebrate stathmin andstathmin family genes. They interfere with microtubule assembly in vitro, and in vivo when expressed in HeLa cells. Drosophila stathmin expression is regulated during embryogenesis: it is high in the migrating germ cells and in the central and peripheral nervous systems, a pattern resembling that of mammalian stathmin. Furthermore, RNA interference inactivation ofDrosophila stathmin expression resulted in germ cell migration arrest at stage 14. It also induced important anomalies in nervous system development, such as loss of commissures and longitudinal connectives in the ventral cord, or abnormal chordotonal neuron organization. In conclusion, a single Drosophilagene encodes phosphoproteins homologous to the entire vertebrate stathmin family. We demonstrate for the first time their direct involvement in major biological processes such as development of the reproductive and nervous systems.

A new layout design system for multichip modules (MCMs) consisting of three components is described. It includes a k-way partitioning approach, an algorithm for pin assignment, and a placement package. For partitioning, we propose an analytical technique combined with a problem-specific multi-way ratio cut method. This method considers fixed module-level pad positions and assigns the cells to regularly arranged chips on the MCM substrate. In the subsequent pin assignment step the chip-level pads resulting from cut nets are positioned on the chip borders. Pin assignment is performed by an efficient algorithm, which profits from the cell coordinates generated by the analytical technique. Global and final placement for each chip is computed by the state-of-the-art placement tools GORDIANL and DOMINO. For the first time, results for MCM layout designs of benchmark circuits with up to 100,000 cells are presented. They show a small number of required chip-level pads, which is the most restricted resource in MCM design, and short total wire lengths.

1922-1924 was a fruitful period of Maxim Gorky's literature work. It is related to searching a new art form. The cycle “Stories of 1922-1924” is an expressive example of “new prose”. For the first time, the hermit character appeared in the cycle “Stories of 1922-1924”. From the point of view of generally recognized morality and the Church, the new type of character is ambiguous. It is characterized by both sinfulness and holiness.

The practice of brokering is one of the concerns felt by the community at immigration services. The Directorate General of Immigration immediately followed up on the report, and appealed to all technical units of immigration to eradicate brokering practices and the practice of extortion (illegal levies) on immigration services. In line with this appeal, the Directorate General of Immigration made an online application called APAPO. Kantor Imigrasi Kelas II Non-TPI Kediri in follow-up to the practice of extortion and brokering also built the Flip Barrier Gate system. This system utilizes the use of RFID (Radio Frequent Identification) technology embedded in the access card. However, over time, this system began to find some problems. Among the obstacles that have arisen are the inactivity of this system because it is feared that it will become the center of the spread of COVID-19 due to the alternating use of access cards. In this research, development planning is carried out for the Flip Barrier Gate Class II Non-TPI Kediri Immigration Office. Flip Barrier Gate is integrated with APAPO through the use of QR code booking code as an access reader. In development planning, this study uses the system development theory described by Tata Sutabri. This phase consists of 5 stages, namely, system investigation, system analysis, system design, system implementation, system maintenance.

This research aims to help universities that do not have an academic information system and facilitate EPSBED data report to Directorate of Higher Education (DHE). The method used is the three first stages in the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC), which are systems engineering, requirements analysis, and design system. The result is a design of university business process, design of database, and design of user interface. This research finds that DHE has a specific data structure that can represent the basic activities of a study program. Therefore, this system design can be used for reporting of EPSBED data as well as for data collection of study program activities.

The article considers the formative features of the formation of the Ukrainian architectural style (modern style) as a phenomenon that has accumulated both properties characteristic of the style of Western European countries, and national traditions of the formation of folk housing or sacred construction. Ukrainian architectural style (modern style) has become an outstanding phenomenon in the development of domestic and European architectural art. It has absorbed many features that have become common to the pan-European architectural heritage, with its features and differences in the varieties of its expression. During the XIX-early XX centuries, church buildings appear in temple architecture, and they were based on the foundations of a "modern" or "realistic" understanding of shaping. Therefore, there is a focus on national culture and traditions, in an innovative sound. Linearity and decorativeness are manifested in stylistic solutions and detailing of decorative elements and inserts. In Galicia, for the first time in 1894, a building was implemented that embodied the above-mentioned features and principles of the formation of the UAS (UAMS). And its creator was the famous architect and industrialist Ivan Levinsky, professor of Lviv Polytechnic.

Following the collapse of the Soviet Union, the post-Soviet state of post-Soviet autonomous republics turned out to be the ideology for which cinematographers and screenwriters have to make a film epic of epoch - national cinema. In this article, the author can only use the ever-present cinematography, the unmerciful nationalistic culture, the ideological orientation of the film industry, the uniqueness or national identity. It's a good idea to have a world-renowned artisan who is doing all the same, seeking internationalization and gloss? Another - cinematic and astrophysical art of Shaken Aimanov, whose works live in volumes or polls, and others. For many years, many changes have taken place in the national cinema, such as national culture, a national emblem of national culture. For the first time in the history of national cinema, national cinema and the world of cinema, the future and future films have been transformed into a lot of changes. The Concept of distinguished singer Shaken Aimanova is embodied in the volume, which, unlike the researchers and artists all over the world of cinema Shaken Aimnayev, the director of which, as long as he is a filmmaker, creates a film studio as part of national culture.

This study compared data collected from two questionnaires completed by faculty in professional occupational therapy education programs in the United States. The questionnaires asked respondents to describe their funding requests over two time periods; 1985 through 1987 and 1988 through 1990. The data from the first time period was reported elsewhere (Boyle, Dunn, & Kielhofner, 1990); this article presents the data from the second inquiry and compares the data from the two time periods to show trends. Programs submitted a total of 24 requests intramurally and 194 requests extramurally for a total of 218 requests during the second time period. Programs received full or partial funding for 115 proposals, a total of nearly $15 million, which was an increase of approximately $2 million. Research was funded at $1,865,500 ( n=35), a more than $1 million increase from the first time period. Programs received $5,725,790 for training ( n=35), $28,450 for model programs ( n=2), $1,326,614 for research and demonstration ( n=6), and $5,804,689 for other activities ( n=37).

Thirty-three species belonging to seven genera of euphausiids were collected at two stations, 20 S.,153 E. and 33 40'S.,153 E., during May 1972 off the east Australian coast. In all, 33 hauls at the northern station and 21 at the southern station were made with a mouth-opening-losing Tucker trawl at various depths between the surface and 400 m. The hauls were grouped into four time periods: dawn (0401-1000 h), noon (1001-1600 h), dusk (1601-2000 h) and midnight (2001-0400 h). The mean number of euphausiids of all species was 20.78 per 1000 m³ at 33 40's. and 18.34 per 1000 m³ at 20%. Night-time abundances were greater than day-time abundances at both stations. Twenty-five species were found at the northern station and 29 species at the southern station. Four species, Thysanopoda astylata, T. obtusifrons, T. monacantha, and Nernatoscelis atlantica, were found only at the northern station and eight species, Thysanopoda acutifrons, T. orientalis, Pseudeuphausia latifrons, Euphausia recurva, E. pseudogibba, E. similis variety armata, E. spinifera, and Nematoscelis megalops were found only at the southern station. Euphausia similis is reported from 20 CS..153 E. for the first time. The abundance of 14 species was large enough to allow examination of their diel migration patterns. Only one, Stylocheiron abbreviatum; did not show evidence of a diurnal migration pattern. Thysanoesa gregaria exhibited a probable reversed-migration pattern.
