ABSTRACT: This article aims to study the theoretical process of developing the Islamic Education Curriculum as well as to what extent is the curriculum with Islamic education in the process, while in the process it takes a long time to perfect the curriculum with Islamic religious education, while curriculum development is designed with ideas and programs, The idea is in the form of a document in the form of a syllabus, then with the process of development will be developed and socialization of the community and educational institutions. The process of this educational curriculum can be developed by designing, implementing, and perfecting the Islamic religious education curriculum. in the form of curriculum there are four dimensions, namely the idea of design, implementation, and the results are involved by extracurricular and curricular.

This article examines how to implement the values of multiculturalism in the Islamic education curriculum as an attempt to counter narrative of radicalism in various educational institutions. This study is regardly important due to currently in the development of educational curriculum, the issue of intolerance and split religious understanding has come to the attention of the government as well as society of Indonesia. This study is a qualitative by using multicuralism theory of James A. Bank's. The study confirm that multiculturalism-based learning which contains of values of togetherness, humanity, tolerance, culture and local wisdom should be adopted as an alternative to counter radical narrative in the different educational institutions.

This paper contains a presentation about the curriculum in the development of Islamic religious education. The curriculum becomes very important in educational institutions because the curriculum is the "heart" of education. The curriculum is a set of tools to achieve goals, starting from planning, starting from initial planning, to planning, such as; strategic planning program planning, such as; Individual-based programs, module-based programs, competency-based or entrepreneurial-based programs. In the dimensions of Islamic religious education curriculum development, there are several matters such as theological foundation, philosophical foundation, social foundation, foundation of wisdom and foundation of Pancasila and technology foundation. While the principles in the development of the PAI curriculum are the principles of relevance, effectiveness, efficiency, sustainability, approval and integration. Based on the concepts of educational curriculum development and curriculum development, the curriculum development after observing the characteristics of the Islamic education curriculum are the basis of curriculum development, the principles of curriculum development, then it must be in accordance with what will be done in curriculum development; Whether discussing fields of study, discussing between participants, discussing reconstructionism, discussing humanism, or accessing national development.

 Islamic religious education is one of the most important subject matter that must be obtained by every student in school, but in fact the implementation of Islamic religious education in Indonesia still gets a lot of criticism from various parties, these criticisms regarding the curriculum, learning methods and also to teachers Islamic religious education itself, on the other hand there is one non-formal institution called madrasa diniyah that specifically provides Islamic religious education to the community, this institution can also be integrated with various formal institutions under the umbrella of the education service. if the existence of madrasa diniyah can be utilized to the maximum, it is not impossible that various problems in Islamic religious education can be overcome. The purpose of this research is to examine the pilot school that integrates madrasa diniyah into basic educational institutions as an effort to strengthen the Islamic religious curriculum, namely SD Khazanah Ilmu. This research includes qualitative research, data collection is done by collecting documents, conducting interviews, and also observing at the research site, while the data analysis technique is done by data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study state that the form of implementing madrasah diniyah as a curriculum for Islamic religious education curriculum in the elementary school of science is through several efforts, namely the formulation of the main objectives, the formulation of teaching materials, the system of teaching recruitment based on religious competence, the development of learning methods and techniques, and finally is to carry out routine evaluation programs both daily, weekly, monthly to yearly. All of these efforts are based on one main goal, namely the strengthening of Islamic religious education curriculum in SD Khazanah Ilmu.

Educational issues are never ending issues to be discussed because these issues concern on the matter of humans in giving the meaning and the direction to their existence. Education is a guidance conciously conducted by the educators toward physical and spiritual developments of the students in order to shape their personality. The shaping of personality is closely related to the role of religious education. Therefore, religious education has pivotal role in national education system. However, nowadays Islamic Education still faces various problems in more complex aspects, namely education dichotomy, curriculum, purposes, resources, and Islamic education management. The improvement efforts have not yet been conducted fundamentally. The efforts to update and upgrade Islamic education are often partial and not comprehensive; moreover, most systems and Islamic education institutions have not yet been managed professionally. Regarding the above problems, two approaches to overcome the weaknesses of Islamic religious education policy in schools are needed, namely the approach of policy advocacy and the approach of Islamic Religious Education curriculum development. Accordingly, Islamic Religious Education can be the basis in shaping personality of the graduates of Indonesia educational institutions in accordance with their adhered religion.

The Islamic Education curriculum is one of the important components to create a generation of morality and martyrs. But the Islamic Religious Education curriculum has been considered only to educate cognitive aspects (transfer of knowladge) and has not touched many affective and psychomotor aspects (transfer of value). This is evident from the many students who have not been able to apply knowledge about their religion such as not performing worship well, speaking harshly and disrespectfully, disrespecting parents and teachers and a group of students who are often in shopping centers and crowds. Therefore, it is necessary to develop an Islamic Education curriculum that accommodates cognitive, affective and psychomotor aspects, so that education is not only a transfer of knowladge but also a transfer of value. Islamic Education curriculum development in this study contains the understanding of the expansion or improvement of the subject matter of the Islamic Religious Education curriculum and what is experienced by students or all efforts (engineering) programmed by Al Islam Azhar 36 Bandung in helping develop the potential of students through learning experience the potential to achieve the vision, mission, school goals.

This artilce aimed to analyze of hisotorical Islamic education curriculum in Brunei. This method used field of study or literature. The result showed that  Firstly, after Islam came to Brunei, the education system was more in the direction of printing scholars. Secondly, after the arrival of invaders in Brunei, Islamic religious education has experienced dualism, but the curriculum from the Britain has not received a warm welcome. Thirdly, Brunei's independence was inseparable from the role of Britain, so education in Brunei was inseparable from the influence of the educational curriculum of the British nation. The development of an Islamic religious education curriculum (PAI) is an activity to produce a PAI curriculum and a process that links one component to another to create a better Islamic education curriculum (PAI). The curriculum component must consist of at least four parts, namely objectives, contents, processes, and assessments. This study discusses in depth the development of the curriculum in the Indonesian curriculum for the 2013 Curriculum model. This study aims to determine the extent to which the curriculum development curriculum for the 2013 curriculum model PAI. This study uses a literature review method. Data collection is done through documentation study techniques. The results of this study indicate that the curriculum development of the 2013 curriculum in the PAI is very significant, oriented towards realizing character education, creating education with local insight and creating a cheerful and friendly culture. Pengembangan kurikulum Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) adalah kegiatan menghasilkan kurikulum PAI, dan proses yang mengkaitkan satu komponen dengan komponen yang lainya untuk menghasilkan kurikulum pendidikan agama Islam (PAI) yang lebih baik. Komponen kurikulum setidaknya harus terdiri dari empat komponen yaitu tujuan, isi, proses dan penilaian. Penelitian ini membahas secara mendalam mengenai pengembangan kurikulum PAI model Kurikulum 2013. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana  pengembangan kurikulum PAI model Kurikulum 2013. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kajian pustaka.Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan  pengembangan kurikulum PAI Kurikulum 2013 pada ranah ini sangat signifikan, yang berorientasi pada mewujudkan pendidikan berkarakter, menciptakan pendidikan berwawasan lokal serta menciptakan pendidikan yang ceria dan bersahabat.

Islamic religious education is part of national education taught in schools, especially in Islamic educational institutions with the aim that students believe in, understand and practice Islamic values correctly. This study aims to analyze Islamic Religious Education (PAI) in the national curriculum. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative research. With this method, researchers can freely understand, analyze and describe research data accurately with regard to Islamic education in the national curriculum. The results showed that Learning Islamic religious education is a mandate of the law that must be taught to students who are Muslim. The objectives of Islamic education are very relevant to the goals of national education. The existence of an integrated Islamic religious education curriculum with the national curriculum. This paper wants to elevate the figure of Mahmud Yunus and his thoughts on Islamic education. For that, at least there are some things that need to be presented, including biography and educational background, then put forward his thoughts on Islamic education. His thoughts on Islamic education are related to the goals of Islamic education, Islamic education curriculum, the institutions of Islamic education, methods of learning in Islamic education, as well as moral and ethical of educators. Mahmud Yunus's point of view about Islamic education, although the thought has existed for a long time but it still exists and is relevant in today's time, for the advancement and development of the Islamic educational institutions of the archipelago.

Abstract: This paper aims to analyze the thoughts of Mohammad Natsir on Islamic Education of Indonesia. Indeed education is a shared responsibility of all people, not just the task of education experts, political experts can play an active role in education. Long before independence and after independence education became the first and foremost thing that must be considered and realized according to the culture and needs of the people of Indonesia. Mohammad Natsir is one of the Indonesian politicians who are able to bring education changes and education curriculum in Indonesia. He no longer sees that public and religious education are separated and unrelated, but integrated. This is evidenced by the existence of educational institutions that he pioneered the Islamic education school and some educational thinking that until now still used in the education curriculum of the Ministry of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia with the term "integrated education".
