Raising of problem. The success of modern business depends not so much from the efficient use of natural resources, but from the fruitful communication between business subjects and timely receipt of the necessary information on the development and implementation of new technologies, which necessitates finding better mechanisms for innovative co-operation of business subjects in conditions of constant transformation of the received knowledge. A research aim is developing the innovative mechanisms for the co-operation of e business subjects by gaining new knowledge in the process of economic transformation. The methodological basis of research was modern regulatory and legislative aspects of innovation. The research uses dialectical methods, methods and principles of scientific knowledge, tools of economic analysis for improve the mechanisms of innovative communication, obtaining the latest information and knowledge of business subjects. The basic hypothesis of research was the assumption of the possibility of improving mechanism of modern communication of e business subjects by interested in combining all available resources, including intellectual, to solve pressing regional and national problems. Exposition of basic material. In the article examines the principles of innovation and identifies the main aspects on which the communication of business subjects in the conditions of constant transformation of existing knowledge. It were analyzed the main indicators, which characterizing the level of innovative achievements and substantiated the measures for effective co-operation of business subjects. The originality and practical meaningfulness of research is confirmed by the proposed improved mechanism of co-operation of business subjects, which based on a certain level of innovative transformations of all communicating institutions and aimed at achieving national, regional goals and development strategies, which based on global challenges problems. Conclusions and prospects of further researches. It is proved that innovative mechanisms of of co-operation of business subjects should include: economic incentives to encourage effective of communication of business subjects; innovative strategies for initiating measures to unite different companies and institutions; reforms in educational activities for lifelong learning in the real life cycle of of business subjects; extensive infrastructure with stable communication links; prospectus for the provision of intellectual services that determine the level of innovative knowledge of human capital. Further research will focus on establishing and improving partnerships, connections and communications between different businesses

Apathy, a common neuropsychiatric symptom associated with dementia, has a strong impact on patients’ and caregivers’ quality of life. However, it is still poorly understood and hard to define. The main objective of the ECOCAPTURE programme is to define a behavioural signature of apathy using an ecological approach. Within this program, ECOCAPTURE@HOME is an observational study which aims to validate a method based on new technologies for the remote monitoring of apathy in real life. For this study, we plan to recruit 60 couples: 20 patient-caregiver dyads in which patients suffer from behavioral variant Fronto-Temporal Dementia, 20 patient-caregiver dyads in which patients suffer from Alzheimer Disease and 20 healthy control couples. These dyads will be followed for 28 consecutive days via multi-sensor bracelets collecting passive data (acceleration, electrodermal activity, blood volume pulse). Active data will also be collected by questionnaires on a smartphone application. Using a pool of metrics extracted from these passive and active data, we will validate a measurement model for three behavioural markers of apathy (i.e., daytime activity, quality of sleep, and emotional arousal). The final purpose is to facilitate the follow-up and precise diagnosis of apathy, towards a personalised treatment of this condition within everyday life.

Abstract The paper is a precis of C. S. Peirce’s semiotic theory of education. It presents this theory of learning and teaching from the perspective of Peirce’s phenomenological categories of Firstness, Secondness, and Thirdness. In the domain of Thirdness, learning is mediation between ignorance and knowledge, new information and old knowledge. Teaching has its focus on laws, symbols, legisigns, and reasoning. In the domain of Secondness, learners acquire new knowledge from the “hard realities” of real-life experience, from obstacles, and from the resistance caused by error and doubt. Teaching takes place by means of sinsigns (singular signs) and indexical signs. In the domain of Firstness, the learner acquires familiarity with the sensory qualities of objects of experience and learns from free associations, imagination, and acts of creativity. The instruments of teaching are qualisigns, icons, and abductive reasoning. The paper concludes that Peirce’s philosophy of education is holistic insofar as it states that most efficient signs are those signs in which “the iconic, indicative, and symbolic characters are blended as equally as possible.”

AbstractDifferent theories have been posited that try to explain the decision-making process of smallholders especially regarding the adoption of new technologies or new agricultural techniques. The objective of this paper is to review and re-assess the dominant household production theories to explain the decision making of smallholders practicing conservation agriculture (CA) in the southern, eastern, and central provinces of Zambia. It also discusses the potential role of CA toward economic development. It finds that the CA smallholders studied did not aim to maximize profits but tried to secure household consumption from their own production before any other considerations in risky and uncertain environments. Their response to economic incentives was contingent on minimizing risks associated with securing a minimum level of livelihood and investing into local forms of insurance. This paper concludes that the ability for CA to contribute to rural livelihoods and economic development would depend on how adequately the factors that hinder smallholder agricultural development in general are addressed.

The new technologies born from academic research can be very promising, yet they are often very early stage. University spin-off companies are uniquely positioned to tackle the risks associated with new technologies emerging from academia by developing proofs of concept, functioning prototypes, and new products. While these enterprises start from a solid research and development foundation, they face their own unique set of challenges—they are strongly anchored in the scientific and technological expertise that is typically backed by intellectual property but often lack the business experience needed to develop and market products demanded by customers. University spin-offs have access to substantial non-dilutive funding that can be utilized for advancing product development. While the relentless pursuit of these funds builds a company's credibility and improves its position for negotiating future private investment, university spin-offs would greatly benefit from an early focus on complementing their technology teams with their business teams. These new enterprises should consider pursuing private investment in parallel to utilizing sources of non-dilutive funding. Timing of private investment is extremely important to maximize the value of the opportunity, and, therefore, building relationships with investors early on and getting ready for executing an investment round can greatly increase odds for success. While there is no single path to formulate, pursue, and adapt successful financing strategies, lessons can be learned from real-life cases of university spin-offs that continue their journeys towards ultimate success.

It is examined the influence of the simplified taxation system on stimulation of home agro business development. The aim of the article is research of the existent taxation system of agro producers and optimization of the tax pressure on the payers of the united tax. Methodological basis of research became the modern theories of taxation and finances in the conditions of global calls, climatic risks and necessities of home and foreign consumers. In undertaken studies the used methods of dialectics, methods and principles of scientific cognition and instruments of analysis the systems for the exposure of influence the simplified system of taxation on activity of agro producers. The basic hypothesis of research became supposition that optimization of the tax loading on agro producers must take a place with a selection of volumes of possessing agricultural resources, prepared products and level of the got profits. Exposition of basic material. It is educed that development and total revenue of agro industrial enterprises depend from the level of taxation of their activity, but sum prepaid tax by the agrarian enterprises does not depend from the got profits and does not answer principles of regulative function of taxes. Originality and practical meaningfulness of research are confirmed by the ground analysis of agro producer’s activity, which work for the simplified system of taxation. An proposed differentiation the united tax payers of 4-th group has the applied value, and similar approach can be used for determination of rates the other groups of the simplified system of taxation. Conclusions and prospects of further researches. An offer groupie of agro producers, which work for the simplified system of taxation, will allow bringing down the tax pressure, stimulating further development of agrarian business in the direction of accordance the European standards of agro products quality. Further researches will be sent to the improvement of the simplified system of taxation of stimulation and development of complete cycle of agribusiness beginning from growing of products, processing and, ending, by an eventual consumption is not only food industry, but other industries of national economy, like light industry, green energy and tourism.

The purpose of this project is to increase the knowledge of technology and services of smart homes for disabled people. There is a clear need for such new knowledge since the number of disabled people is significant. Indeed, new technologies and services of smart homes have the potential to increase effectiveness and efficiency of caring disabled. With right solutions there is a great potential to increase disabled persons' quality of life. The need for the development of such technologies and services increases due to the disabled individuals' desire to remain independent in their own homes, the increasing costs of health care, and the aging of the population. This article discusses the concept of secured door lock/unlock system for the differently able. The juxtaposition of safety vs. privacy can be alleviated with this technology. Moreover, as there is need to assist disabled to protect them from various forms of abuse, and prevent immoderation of pleasure giving activities.

Nanotechnology is new frontiers of this century. The world is facing great challenges in meeting rising demands for basic commodities(e.g., food, water and energy), finished goods (e.g., cellphones, cars and airplanes) and services (e.g., shelter, healthcare and employment) while reducing and minimizing the impact of human activities on Earth’s global environment and climate. Nanotechnology has emerged as a versatile platform that could provide efficient, cost-effective and environmentally acceptable solutions to the global sustainability challenges facing society. In recent years there has been a rapid increase in nanotechnology in the fields of medicine and more specifically in targeted drug delivery. Opportunities of utilizing nanotechnology to address global challenges in (1) water purification, (2) clean energy technologies, (3) greenhouse gases management, (4) materials supply and utilization, and (5) green manufacturing and hemistry. Smart delivery of nutrients, bio-separation of proteins, rapid sampling of biological and chemical contaminants, and nano encapsulation of nutraceuticals are some of the emerging topics of nanotechnology for food and agriculture. Nanotechnology is helping to considerably improve, even revolutionize, many technology and Industry sectors: information technology, energy, environmental science, medicine, homeland security, food safety, and transportation, among many others. Today’s nanotechnology harnesses current progress in chemistry, physics, materials science, and biotechnology to create novel materials that have unique properties because their structures are determined on the nanometer scale. This paper summarizes the various applications of nanotechnology in recent decades Nanotechnology is one of the leading scientific fields today since it combines knowledge from the fields of Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Medicine, Informatics, and Engineering. It is an emerging technological field with great potential to lead in great breakthroughs that can be applied in real life. The application and use of Nano materials in electronic and mechanical devices, in optical and magnetic components, quantum computing, tissue engineering, and other biotechnologies, with smallest features, widths well below 100 nm, are the economically most important parts of the nanotechnology nowadays and presumably in the near future. The number of Nano products is rapidly growing since more and more Nano engineered materials are reaching the global market the continuous revolution in nanotechnology will result in the fabrication of nanomaterial with properties and functionalities which are going to have positive changes in the lives of our citizens, be it in health, environment, electronics or any other field. In the energy generation challenge where the conventional fuel resources cannot remain the dominant energy source, taking into account the increasing consumption demand and the CO2 .Emissions alternative renewable energy sources based on new technologies have to be promoted. Innovative solar cell technologies that utilize nanostructured materials and composite systems such as organic photovoltaic offer great technological potential due to their attractive properties such as the potential of large-scale and low-cost roll-to-roll manufacturing processes

The history of Alzheimer's disease (AD) started in 1907, but we needed to wait until the end of the century to identify the component of pathological hallmarks, genetic subtypes and to formulate the first pathogenic hypothesis. Thanks to biomarkers and new technologies, the concept of AD then rapidly changed from a static view of an amnestic dementia of the presenium to a biological entity that could be clinically manifested as normal cognition or dementia of different types. What is clearly emerging from studies is that AD is heterogeneous in each aspect, such as amyloid composition, tau distribution, relation between amyloid and tau, clinical symptoms, genetic background, and thus it is probably impossible to explain AD with a single pathological process. The scientific approach to AD suffers from chronological mismatches between clinical, pathological and technological data, causing difficulty in conceiving diagnostic gold standards and in creating models for drug discovery and screening. A recent mathematical computer-based approach offers the opportunity to study AD in real life and to provide a new point of view and the final missing pieces of the AD puzzle.

Technological advances have had an impact on many industries as well as the tourism industry. Augmented reality applications, one of the emerging new technologies in recent years, have also started to be used in our daily lives. Augmented Reality (AR) is a technology that allows its users to see the real world together with an additional virtual world that is added in real time to the same field of view. The augmented reality applications contribute to the enrichment of tourists' tourism experiences, especially during their visit and result in augmented satisfaction levels. Furthermore, it is one of the effective tools that can be used against the wear and tear of cultural heritage sites caused by overcrowding. In this chapter, the application fields of the augmented reality in the field of tourism have been discussed under the subtitles. As a result of our study, recommendations for the development of AR applications both for the literature and real-life application have been presented.
